Sin broken flesh suffers less
Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same attitude (for whoever suffers in the flesh has broken with sin), so as not to spend what remains of one’s life in the flesh on human desires, but on the Will of God. 1 Peter 4:1-2
Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God, which you are, is holy. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17
His disciples recalled the Words of Scripture, “Zeal for your house will consume Me.” John 2:17

Breaking with sin is tough and called upon by God to cease lust les you rust in a humanity bust. We see the right being labeled wrong and the wrong being lived as right ignoring practice, prayer and proclamation of living His Divine Will. Most have pushed Sunday into a day of rest from life and any human communal religion. We want to wallow in excess including the rest and relaxation we undertake on days of being called to worship since many can’t understand without your help that God is every moment of every day.
This is the temple God calls home for anyone breathing keeping our heart beating dumping waste for we must never stop eating. The temple we can shape into a tire or stalk of beans relishes only your relationship with Him not you and the world. Zeal for this house must consume you as God gave way to His Salvation in a Son who called suffering the Key to Eternal Life. Destroy you and God will see you judged as self-reliant yet turn to God and find Christ as the Spirit dwelling from within ready to combat sin in Charity where Truth is never a rarity. Amen.
So we pray, Lord may our zeal be for you and the body we dwell as Two.
