Wig’s Word of God Today 9-14-2011
At the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10-11
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. John 3:17
Numbers 21:4b-9, Psalm 78, Philippians 2:6-11 & John 3:13-17
Remember, while I write in brevity what the Spirit of the LORD leads me to say each and every day, I admit a complete surrender to the LORD’s Truth is not a small task or minor feeling to carry around but a complete enlightenment to live in every aspect of your life. The LORD sent His Son so we may understand how to live in a world of selfishness and sin allowing our lives to help those who are lost and in need. We do this by example, where our knees bend often throughout the day and providing an example of confessing His Truth by mouth, in study of His Word and in action of deeds to share His Salvation.
While we as Christians experience many different types of retreats to rekindle the Fire of God‘s Love to share with others, many of these retreats are very secretive wishing to provide a compete joyful and unknown Godly experience. One retreat I have found for the less fortunate that I can actually write about beforehand is the Prison Ministry Team of Kairos. I have been blessed in the opportunity to grow with over 30 men as we prepare to enter the prison to minister to guarded and committed of our world.
During the training we not only pray for each other and the unknown prisoners of despair but also we sing songs and carry talks of God’s Truth to practice and fine tune while conducting Spiritual exercises to lift our souls in communion with God desires. We closed our last meeting last night before our weekend this weekend by praying over each of us one-by-one in laying hands on our brothers and sharing prayers of love and encouragement to keep the evil spirits away. Please pray for our team as we prepare to share God’s Truth to those imprisoned.
So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today that our lives place us on our knees often confessing our love of Your Son’s Truth and Salvation. We pray today for courage to carry Your Truth in everything we do. We pray for the NJ Team of Emmaus and the leadership of Tom Stilley that You LORD may bring the candidates of Your choice. A prayer of thanksgiving for Michael Fusco and John Thorpe’s friendship in Christ. A prayer of healing for my wife’s ear infection and my daughter Alexandra’s peace and healing. We pray for the lost soul of a boy name Shane, his family and the students at Cardinal Gibbons in Cary, NC. We pray all this in the Name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Romans 8:28
“Spirit led God inspired Christ fed“
God’s Glory to Use
The form of God
Not equal at first
Proved He was sent
To put the Gospel to work
By emptying Himself
Slave to appear
Like a human
Loving the Father so dear
Humbled living
Obedient and true
Death on a Cross
For me and for you
He accepted His call
God exalted His Name
Every knee should bend
Every mouth proclaim
Confess in action
Confess in Truth
Jesus Christ is LORD
God’s Glory to Use
