For this is the wording of the promise, “About this time I shall return and Sarah will have a son.” And not only that, but also when Rebecca had conceived children by one husband, our father Isaac— before they had yet been born or had done anything, good or bad, in order that God’s elective plan might continue, not by works but by His Call—she was told, “The older shall serve the younger.” As it is written: “I loved Jacob but hated Esau.” Romans 9:9-13

We love to hear promises but we can never trust they will be fulfilled because we are impatient filled with electronic anxiety of checking constantly how family, friends or foes communicate with each other. “I promise I’ll be your friend” was often said amongst the younger children I taught over the years while I would reply “promise to provide respect to one another and you’ll always be best friends forever.” Amen.
The Promise God gives is Life Eternal and simply takes a confession in your heart and soul that Jesus is the One and Only True Messiah Who shepherds His People with blessings, grace and mercy by being obedient to His Word yet mindful of every weakness you have in the darkness of a soul Christ can soothe in the Breaths of Salvation uttered in the mind by a Spirit so Holy. Make prayer life combined with your works of mercy His Call relived in your thoughts, actions and deeds of Charity no matter the place no matter the time. Sing to Him and others too will be encouraged to comply not deny. Amen.
Let us pray Lord may we live Your Promise fulfilled in Christ as the Light we share for You. LORD from Romans 8:28 I chant for all families across the world, “We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to His Purpose.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
