Better to take refuge in the LORD than to put one’s trust in mortals. Ps 118:8

First Kings 18:41-46, Psalm 118 & Matthew 5:20-26

We naturally want to listen to the world’s hearsay for it is in what we hear others say that we are drawn to witness life’s consequences from risks one takes achieving triumph increasing temptation tasting desires of the heart. We especially want to hear what famous people think, say or do because somehow they are different than you and me succeeding where we failed hoping in glory instead of seeking and knowing grace.

King David basked in the glory of God in and out of the Temple area singing in precessions that glorified God in all things sharing the grace God illuminates the world with. We must give God credit for all instances seeking grace living not as a gamble. By placing your trust in God you can see the success of Truth by the determination to become your heart’s desire seeing more in His Light than without it. Announce as David in verse 14. “The LORD, my strength and might, has become my Savior.” Amen.

Pray with me. Dear LORD, we pray Trust You LORD with all. Novena prayers day seven for Cassandra Andrews. Prayers for Closer Walk Media dot com listener’s intentions requests across the world. LORD, from Psalm 118:24-25 I chant, “This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice in it and be glad. LORD, grant Salvation! LORD, grant good fortune!!” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Psalm 118- Forever endures mercy good thanks in manifestation

Forever mercy good LORD of thanks

Forever enduring mercy of all houses to praise

We who fear the LORD praise His Eternal mercy daze

Free I am set never lost in a maze never afraid

Mortals against me and God’s Triumph

Trust not mortals by God’s line up

Nor princes trust who can’t make their mind up

Nations surrendered surrounded the king he places in confinement

Off they were cut thorns thrown in a fire

LORD’s Name must become everyone’s desire

Help came for David the whole world can admire

Valiant deliverance righteousness by the Savior to inspire

Cornerstone rejected by builders will grant Salvation

Standing as the Truth of the world’s foundation

Glad we will rejoice in His eyes wonderful situations

All are blessed coming in the Name of libations

Forever endures mercy good thanks in manifestation

About Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

My name is Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins. I first recognize Christ as my Savior in all things. I am married to my best friend and Soul-Mate in Christ, Antonia Cruz-Wiggins. I am a University of Florida graduate of Public Relations, a US Navy Veteran and a Montessori Elementary School Teacher. I love life and God's help of living it! I follow the Light of Christ in everything I do! I love writing poetry about the Lord and I create a new poem from each Scripture I discern in my daily mediations. You can almost follow the poem by looking at the readings for each day. I started sharing this small yet personal scripture study four years ago when one day I was reading the bible and the Holy Spirit moved me to share the verse with a group of about 40 Christian Men in my Emmaus Ministry who get together weekly to celebrate the Lord and talk about His Truth. Since then the number of people I share my study with has grown to over 650. I enjoy an open loving dialog about anything I write and I have strived to write what I know the Lord wants me to share steering clear of offending anyone’s spiritual beliefs because I share my work with people I meet in public when I strike up a conversation about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It took almost 2 years to begin writing what the Holy Spirit leads me to say. I believe that all Christians must unite as One Body of Christ’s Love to accomplish the joy of living with love, honor and respect. I reach out to Humanity to share His Salvation be it Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Episcopal or any other religion or belief. I seek to mirror His Compassion, His Simpleness, His Charity and His Love. While I am Catholic, I believe we must all unite in the Lord to become One Body in Christ to bring our children back to The Church. I am humbled to share my study with you. Please feel free to comment any time. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my Joy because I am a Disciple of His Truth. I am honored to share my Bible study with anyone you may recommend. As always, I remain, Yours in Christ, Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
