Temptation perseverance has been found
Blessed is the man who perseveres in temptation, for when he has been proved he will receive the crown of life that (God) promised to those who love Him. No one experiencing temptation should say, “I am being tempted by God”; for God is not subject to temptation to evil, and He himself tempts no one. Rather, each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire conceives and brings forth sin, and when sin reaches maturity it gives birth to death. James 1:12-15

An argument arose among the disciples about which of them was the greatest. Jesus realized the intention of their hearts and took a child and placed it by his side and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in My Name receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives the one who sent Me. For the one who is least among all of you is the one who is the greatest.” Luke 9:46-50

Look around and see the temptation running rampart across all mediums of visual stimulation attached to our hips like six gun shooters ready to take out a robber of our couth yet we allow our own objectives to be blinded by the same light. It’s hard to avoid temptation when it sprawls across a screen lighting up receptors of desire in the depths of your brain causing mistakes after mistakes murmuring murder makes movies more?
Sin brought forth by the act of self is something we do naturally as God’s Humanity for He has allowed free will to set into motion Divine Will. Once the denial is thought or acted upon, we must return to God in Charity allowing our request of forgiveness to be in the form of Works of Mercy coupled with the love, faith and hope of Jesus! Here is where Salvation takes over sharing the greatest part of us to become the least. Amen.
So we pray, LORD, return to you when tempted to practice giving grace in peace. Novena prayers day 5 for James Kitchens, Toronto to find a new job and Steve A’s back surgery.
