Blessed the One whom You will choose and bring to dwell in your courts. May we be filled with the good things of Your house, Your holy temple! Psalm 65:5

He was spurned and avoided by men, a man of suffering, knowing pain, Like one from whom you turn your face, spurned, and we held Him in no esteem. Yet it was our pain that He bore, our sufferings He endured. We thought of Him as stricken, struck down by God and afflicted, But He was pierced for our sins, crushed for our iniquity. He bore the punishment that makes us whole, by His wounds we were healed. Isaiah 53:3-5

Isaiah 52:13–53:12, Psalm 65 & John 18:1–19:42

I used to wonder why this Friday of all Fridays was considered Good until the day I truly understood my surrender of being obedient to placing God First. While my Baptism at the age of 30 brought me to know Christ, I didn’t seek Him First as I do now asking forgiveness of overzealous passion of selfish wants constantly probing in practice, prayer and proclamation to live forgiven. This Friday above all Fridays says to me the purpose, pain and passion of Jesus Christ came to complete fruition in bearing the suffering once and for all the Sacrifice to end my sin and yours for anyone for all generations.

Yes, that makes today a Good Friday. The Friday we call as Christians as the Friday we find what men avoided in Truth to be the One who endured the death to Rise in defiance of the people who killed Him. Yes, Alive by the Hand of God to be the Redeemer of the world. Placing Him First makes this Friday as my saintly father-in-law would say, the “goodie goodie” of the goodiest Fridays ever lived. An Eternal Friday of faith, hope and love of charity described today as punished for Truth to fulfill this proclamation of mercy described by God’s Prophet of Old. Today I will proudly wear this exact Scripture on my shirt to enjoy a Friday filled with good- filled with God! Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray all time is lived for Good as the Friday this day Truly represents. Constant prayers for every listner’s prayer intentions request across the world. Novena prayers day one for Joseph L James. Prayers for Kairos Prison Ministry of DCI#49. Greg Bishop has our never ending prayers. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD, from Psalm 65:6 I chant, “You answer us with awesome deeds of justice, O God our Savior, The hope of all the ends of the earth.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I am surrendered in Christ,

Dripping of Truth nothing complains– Psalm 65

Friday song of good

Mixed with Psalm as it should

Passion endured fashion

Praise vows amazed

Flesh tortured our rest

Praise for His love today

Pardon wicked same

Things good combined to pray

Temple holy visited each and every day

Justice deeds awesome might

Sea calmed roaring delight

People’s tumult obvious slight

Soft showers sprout blessings rains

Robed in joy meadows ordain

Dripping of Truth nothing complains

About Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

My name is Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins. I first recognize Christ as my Savior in all things. I am married to my best friend and Soul-Mate in Christ, Antonia Cruz-Wiggins. I am a University of Florida graduate of Public Relations, a US Navy Veteran and a Montessori Elementary School Teacher. I love life and God's help of living it! I follow the Light of Christ in everything I do! I love writing poetry about the Lord and I create a new poem from each Scripture I discern in my daily mediations. You can almost follow the poem by looking at the readings for each day. I started sharing this small yet personal scripture study four years ago when one day I was reading the bible and the Holy Spirit moved me to share the verse with a group of about 40 Christian Men in my Emmaus Ministry who get together weekly to celebrate the Lord and talk about His Truth. Since then the number of people I share my study with has grown to over 650. I enjoy an open loving dialog about anything I write and I have strived to write what I know the Lord wants me to share steering clear of offending anyone’s spiritual beliefs because I share my work with people I meet in public when I strike up a conversation about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It took almost 2 years to begin writing what the Holy Spirit leads me to say. I believe that all Christians must unite as One Body of Christ’s Love to accomplish the joy of living with love, honor and respect. I reach out to Humanity to share His Salvation be it Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Episcopal or any other religion or belief. I seek to mirror His Compassion, His Simpleness, His Charity and His Love. While I am Catholic, I believe we must all unite in the Lord to become One Body in Christ to bring our children back to The Church. I am humbled to share my study with you. Please feel free to comment any time. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my Joy because I am a Disciple of His Truth. I am honored to share my Bible study with anyone you may recommend. As always, I remain, Yours in Christ, Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
