Caesar Tribunal Penalty Death Escape
Paul answered, “I am standing before the tribunal of Caesar; this is where I should be tried. I have committed no crime against the Jews, as you very well know. If I have committed a crime or done anything deserving death, I do not seek to escape the death penalty; but if there is no substance to the charges they are bringing against me, then no one has the right to hand me over to them. I appeal to Caesar.” Then Festus, after conferring with his council, replied, “You have appealed to Caesar. To Caesar you will go.” Acts 25:10-12

And you, child, will be called prophet of the Most High, for you will go before the Lord to prepare His Ways, to give His people knowledge of Salvation through the forgiveness of their sins. Luke 1:76-77

Some of you listening today might have this “pit” feeling in your stomach reminiscing about the atmosphere of being locked up and tried before even getting a chance to argue your case mediatized as tried and convicted I’m sure as Paul did yet like Paul you became obedient to remaining faithful to the Spirit guiding souls for the reward of Salvation. Paul knew he was innocent of any charge that would cause death while stating he was willing to die for the Way as he openly prayed for God to Save the day.
Surely God Saved the Apostle with His Word utilizing the Truth as the defense Paul expressed like many of you today whereby we live the practice, prayer and proclamation of the love, faith and hope Charity instills for Salvation a knowledge of walking the Way of Wonder embracing the world in supplication given in private or in person the joy of sharing what gets us through our day; Jesus! Join me in prayer of forgiveness. I’m sorry for my sins Lord. Please be with me always. I will try to sin no more calling on Your Name to avoid evil confident Your blessing will amplify my life in goodwill. We pray for the intentions of people reading or listening to us share Your Good News. We pray for each other for our leaders for friends sick or troubled.
