Drusilla wife of Felix considers
Several days later Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish. He had Paul summoned and listened to him speak about faith in Christ Jesus. But as he spoke about righteousness and self-restraint and the coming judgment, Felix became frightened and said, “You may go for now; when I find an opportunity I shall summon you again.” Acts 24:24-25

Many a times I have sat and listened to people speak about Jesus mesmerized mostly by the thought of living life forever yet captivated by the ability to speak about the Gospels as led by the Spirit. Many a time Jesus has given me the words to speak by the obedient surrender I delve daily in practice sharing the Way by prayer living out every proclaimed joy of love, faith and hope of Life Eternal in Charity closing the past for Christ’s future.
While Felix was also fascinated with Paul’s words, he knew his marriage was unlawful with Drusilla yet provided more information to speak about when it comes to living for Jesus. Paul spoke openly of repenting when speaking to the couple which greatly distressed Felix for he knew Paul was speaking of his deeds his life his sin.
I know, I get it, It is hard to give up everything to live for the well-being of someone else grasping the meek to meander and to greet the needy with open arms of harmony giving someone else the hug they need before eating a meal or sipping water they haven’t had without someone giving them grief for being homeless. God knows we are going to make mistakes and He asks us to recognize His Mercy in His Only Son Jesus. Amen. He is the ONLY Way to Heaven who can free your tongue to proclaim His glory. Amen.
