For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable. Romans 11:29

For the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable. Romans 11:29

For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted. Luke 14:11

Romans 11:1-29, Psalm 94 & Luke 14:1, 7-11

Once you hear the call of God, did you act with obedience? Noticed I used the present tense of hear for I know in my heart I hear the call from God in numerous ways and pray daily He gives me the strength to act with submission. It’s when we see His gifts and call as irrevocable but choose to look the other way and deny them/ Him, we then live spiritually dead acting on our own desires. What I love about Paul’s writings in Romans 10 & 11, he drives home the message that because the Jews deny the message of Christ, he has even more determination to do God’s Work and relentlessly share the Gospel. Today our call to share His Truth is stronger now to guide our children to surrendered living of faith. The “call” and “gift” of God are binding and will not fail in Paul’s heart and he gives his all to sharing the Truth. Paul knows God will remain faithful to Israel and the world. The Promise of God extends to all and “the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable.”

The Parable of the Seating of Honor is an example of true humility. The hard work needed by Christ comes from a burning desire to serve His Will and tirelessly serve the common good of humanity. We serve this by being an example for family, friends and the unknown people of the world relying not our own accord but that of His Presence within us. It’s not what you do in front of a camera that matters as much as what you do for His Will in private. How do you serve the lonely? How do you serve the hungry or the homeless. I recall very vividly the feeling of being hungry when I was homeless. It’s a deep pitted painful feeling of agony and loneliness. God wants us to be active in our work for His Truth not seeking the place of honor. He wants us to live for His Will and allow Him to bestow the blessings of grace at His Godly time. You then feel the esteem of God’s Will in your love of loving Him. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to always be thankful for Your Call and Gifts of the Holy Spirit as we live our lives for Your Glory. We pray LORD to be unafraid in Your Call and to serve humbly for Your Truth. We pray for the children of the world. May our witness to their future in You be a part of everything we do. We pray the healing and peace of Officer Bruno of DCI. We pray for Prayer Points to be lead by Your Will LORD. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Romans 8:28

Spirit led God inspired Christ fed

Will Be Exalted by God’s Decree- Luke 14:7-11

They all sought to sit near Him

The seat of honor so to speak

Not ready for the haughty

But the person of God will meet

Distinguished by honor and glory

Don’t mistake yourself embarrassingly

Take the lowest seat of honor

His reward has esteem to greet

For if God will humble the exalted

Power of Divine to seek

He who humbles himself happily

Will Be Exalted by God’s Decree

About Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

My name is Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins. I first recognize Christ as my Savior in all things. I am married to my best friend and Soul-Mate in Christ, Antonia Cruz-Wiggins. I am a University of Florida graduate of Public Relations, a US Navy Veteran and a Montessori Elementary School Teacher. I love life and God's help of living it! I follow the Light of Christ in everything I do! I love writing poetry about the Lord and I create a new poem from each Scripture I discern in my daily mediations. You can almost follow the poem by looking at the readings for each day. I started sharing this small yet personal scripture study four years ago when one day I was reading the bible and the Holy Spirit moved me to share the verse with a group of about 40 Christian Men in my Emmaus Ministry who get together weekly to celebrate the Lord and talk about His Truth. Since then the number of people I share my study with has grown to over 650. I enjoy an open loving dialog about anything I write and I have strived to write what I know the Lord wants me to share steering clear of offending anyone’s spiritual beliefs because I share my work with people I meet in public when I strike up a conversation about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It took almost 2 years to begin writing what the Holy Spirit leads me to say. I believe that all Christians must unite as One Body of Christ’s Love to accomplish the joy of living with love, honor and respect. I reach out to Humanity to share His Salvation be it Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Episcopal or any other religion or belief. I seek to mirror His Compassion, His Simpleness, His Charity and His Love. While I am Catholic, I believe we must all unite in the Lord to become One Body in Christ to bring our children back to The Church. I am humbled to share my study with you. Please feel free to comment any time. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my Joy because I am a Disciple of His Truth. I am honored to share my Bible study with anyone you may recommend. As always, I remain, Yours in Christ, Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
