Wig’s Word of God Today 9-19-2011
For there is nothing hidden that will not become visible, and nothing secret that will not be known and come to light. Luke 8:17

I awoke this morning to sound of pouring rain as my sleepy mind came to from a dream of prisoners being cleansed by the Blood of Christ Jesus. Face after face I watched in my slumbered state walking under the Cross of Christ accepting His Redemption as they spoke Repentance from their mouths with hands lifted high in praise. As they were lead back into the staging areas of incarceration, each of them displayed a smile of Christ unlike any I have ever seen before. I smile of forgiveness wrapped in love.
Many times over our Kairos Prison Ministry weekend, I witnessed prisoners displaying this smile of Christ that seemed to pierce my soul with joy. I kept thinking how our society could make such a difference to those who make wrong choices by turning to God’s grace and volunteering time to help those who have been misguided by Satan’s thrill of selfish pleasures of sin. A lamp stand of Godly guidance illuminating the Truth to keep nothing hidden displaying Christ’s Light to see life as it was meant to be. My prayers go forward for all the men I met this weekend to seek only God’s Will and live in peace by the Cross of Christ Jesus. Amen.

Spiritual wall was built
Unknown ever to me
Short and stumpy at first
Unable to notice and see
Barbed wire was added
Shunning those to be
A caring friend in Truth
Higher than ever to agree
The wall reached its limit
Personal polished deed
Selfish and tormented ugliness
Separated by my selfish greed
One day a flower came
During my hour of need
God instructed me to give
Up my anger and learn to feed
Self-pity began to set in
Over years of disbelief
A friend’s advice came
Accept Christ’s Truth relief
Pride prevented involvement
To fully accept and agree
Until God’s love shared
He comes forever for free
God’s gift was His Son’s guidance
He’s always there to help you be
A wall of self removed
Fear and greed relieved
