Wig’s Word of God Today 2-3-2011
God the judge of all, and the spirits of the just made perfect, and Jesus, the mediator of a New Covenant, and the sprinkled Blood that speaks more eloquently than that of Abel. Hebrews 12:23c-24
Hebrews 12:18-19, 21-24, Psalm 48:2-3ab, 3cd-4, 9, 10-11 & Mark 6:7-13
The writer of Hebrews offers a comparison of the two covenants announced by God; Moses and Jesus. The first covenant of Moses is described as a covenant of fear where God punishes those who do not comply with the teachings of Moses. The second covenant supersedes the first and gives us Jesus allowing us direct access to God by His proclamation of love described as God’s children to live in harmony in a Christina community. The author describes that it is a graver sin not to abide by the Words of Christ than to heed the words of Moses. The author reminds us the Kingdom of Christ will always be with us for our God lives forever but if Christians fall away from the church God’s justice will ultimately punish those who reject the teachings of Christ.
The Apostolate Walk of Twelve should remind all people that the love of God will protect you where ever you may go giving you the ability to share the Christ’s love with anyone to accomplish healing and life-changing Redemption to those you meet. We are all on our own Walk with Jesus where we either choose to surrender to His Teachings or become a closet Christian. God wants us all to practice our faith with friends and strangers alike to share the Redemption His Son’s Blood gave to all Humanity. There’s more to learn in this Walk of Christ by your practice than you may realize and until you completely empty your soul of selfish needs, your surrender will not be complete. Guide your love of loving Christ to read your Bible daily, share your prayers with strangers and proclaim the Gospel with joy in your heart.
And so we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray our walk in life is an example of Christ’s Apostles teaching the love He commanded us to share. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Romans 8:28
Why DO I
Why do I love to wonder?
Why do I seek Your face?
Why do I return to honor?
Why do I enjoy my fate?
I watch you grow amongst a wonder
I watch you seek to know this Truth
I watch you grasp His forever knowledge
I watch you love His Redemptive proof
Why do I love to honor?
Why do I love Your Truth?
Why do I love his promise?
Why do I love to choose?
I surrender all for a love abundant
I surrender all for Salvation’ due
I surrender all to see Your Kingdom
I surrender all for the glory of Truth
