Wig’s Word of God Today 12-1-2010

Great crowds came to him, having with them the lame, the blind, the deformed, the mute, and many others. They placed them at his feet, and he cured them. Matthew 15:30

Isaiah 25:6-10a, Psalm 23:1-3a, 3b-4, 5, 6 & Matthew 15:29-37

Let us rejoice and be glad for He has saved us from a burning eternal misery. Hallelujah! He sent His only Son to reconcile the world from sin allowing Him to be nailed to a Cross for our Salvation. He will wipe away our tears of sorrow, confusion and hate by accepting His Spirit as a guide for all your life has to offer. I find myself asking people I haven’t seen or heard from in years to forgive me for past mistakes knowing they were selfishly lead and ungodly. Seek only His Truth by His Word and you too will want to seek as well as give forgiveness to anyone at anytime in your life.

Psalm 23 has special meanings to many a person in our lives. It is a Psalm of understanding that God is in control of everything and I pray our president is reading it often. When the President of the United States of America states his nation is no longer a Christian Nation, we as Christians should be offended by this and take steps to prove our president wrong. When a president has the audacity to cancel the National Day of Prayer instilled in Americans for years yet pray with the Muslims, we as Christian Americans should be offended by this. America’s first president puts it best when he wrote, “It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the Providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and to humbly implore His protection and favor.” October 3, 1789 Proclaiming a National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving. Psalm 23 has special meanings to all Americans; Christ is our guide and there is nothing we shall fear.

Jesus was moved with pity here in Matthew 15 after preaching to the crowds for three days because He knew they had not had any nourishment except His Spiritual nourishment. He fed them all with five loaves and two fish a symbolic number totaling seven meaning perfection. Many biblical scholars argue this feeding was probably a double of Matthew 14 where 5000 are fed. More importantly, one should focus on the healing of the many that came before Jesus. Just as in those days, Jesus can heal anything through faith, hope and love by our surrender to His Truth. Loving your love of Christ will heal you to practice, pray and proclaim the Good News of Christ Jesus. Amen.

And so we pray: Lord of all, we pray today for faith, hope, charity and love. Without these four areas of our life being complete, we know we accomplish only a half-way surrender to Your Son’s guidance of Truth. Help us to be 100% all of the time. Give us strength to pray unceasingly over everything in our lives to forever be thankful for Christ’s Eternal Salvation., In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Romans 8:28

Hunger Eternally Satisfied

All peoples will know
Lord of Lord will show
His wrath removes the veil
Of sin powerless to prevail

Tears He will wipe away
Death destroyed forever
Eternal life we gain
By the Nails at Calvary’s center

He is my Sheppard
Not a moment of want
Pastures of living sustained
Cool waters from His fount

Path’s of Truth I walk
Evil runs to hide
Courage from His Word
Is forever my safety guide

My table runs full
Overflowing from every side
Goodness exudes from my soul
I am a man void of pride

In His House I will dwell
Pleasures of Psalm 23 reside
His Kingdom I proclaim
A Truth I will never hide

Curing the sick and the lame
His power all recognized
Feeding many by Truth
Hunger eternally satisfied

About Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

My name is Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins. I first recognize Christ as my Savior in all things. I am married to my best friend and Soul-Mate in Christ, Antonia Cruz-Wiggins. I am a University of Florida graduate of Public Relations, a US Navy Veteran and a Montessori Elementary School Teacher. I love life and God's help of living it! I follow the Light of Christ in everything I do! I love writing poetry about the Lord and I create a new poem from each Scripture I discern in my daily mediations. You can almost follow the poem by looking at the readings for each day. I started sharing this small yet personal scripture study four years ago when one day I was reading the bible and the Holy Spirit moved me to share the verse with a group of about 40 Christian Men in my Emmaus Ministry who get together weekly to celebrate the Lord and talk about His Truth. Since then the number of people I share my study with has grown to over 650. I enjoy an open loving dialog about anything I write and I have strived to write what I know the Lord wants me to share steering clear of offending anyone’s spiritual beliefs because I share my work with people I meet in public when I strike up a conversation about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It took almost 2 years to begin writing what the Holy Spirit leads me to say. I believe that all Christians must unite as One Body of Christ’s Love to accomplish the joy of living with love, honor and respect. I reach out to Humanity to share His Salvation be it Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Episcopal or any other religion or belief. I seek to mirror His Compassion, His Simpleness, His Charity and His Love. While I am Catholic, I believe we must all unite in the Lord to become One Body in Christ to bring our children back to The Church. I am humbled to share my study with you. Please feel free to comment any time. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my Joy because I am a Disciple of His Truth. I am honored to share my Bible study with anyone you may recommend. As always, I remain, Yours in Christ, Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
