Wig’s Word of God Today 12-4-2011
He is patient with you, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9b
Isaiah 40:1-11, Psalm 85, 2 Peter 3:8-14 & Mark 1:1-8
I believe we all see patience and tolerance from the LORD in a hopeful anticipation that humanity will repent and find the Truth in living for His Will. Oh, He’s forgiving and charitable when it comes to our lack of obedience to His Word but He wants you to grow in Spiritual Awareness by living in repentance seeking growth in submission to sacred learning not scholarly advancement. His Light will go on as you grow in the LORD each second of every day by living His Will driving a better understanding when you simply read or listen to Scripture.
Living for the LORD doesn’t seem hard to people who incorporate God’s Word into their days constantly praising His attraction of life’s success. Take a look at your self and see where you are lacking this understanding to give your all to His Truth for your life. How does faith live out for you? Do you believe His Word is Sacred? How does prayer give you peace? When and why do you pray? Do you feel comfortable talking about God? Do you believe Christ died for your sins? God wants you to be devout and His sympathy allows us all to enjoy forgiveness by our admission to loving our love of His Son Christ Jesus. Amen!
I often tell a story I call a “Bible in a Car Accident” that I experienced some years ago two days after I left an Emmaus Retreat here in South Florida. With His Word held high over my head as I exited my car after being rear ended by an uninsured driver, the driver of the car thought I was going to throw the Bible at him placing his arms over his face saying “no, don’t hit me.” At that very moment I was yelling “praise God my Bible didn’t move and I’m Ok” reminds me how we all can be obedient even in the wildest of situations bringing God to the forefront of our decisions gaining Spiritual Awareness and growth in His Truth. Have Word will study as I travel mentality. Have God will Trust faith and pray. Know Christ will live forgiveness and charity to proclaim.
By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to live in repentance showing all glory to You LORD. We pray for Tim constantly. We pray for schools to know Your Harmony (Oh Harmony). We pray for every child and parent. We pray for Bob and Mary Carter. We pray for Jhaysonn’s healing as the ninth day concludes knowing our prayers are steadfast every day. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for Prayer Point. We pray for all Christian radio stations especially LIFE FM of South Florida. We pray for the Spirit to accept, bravery in God to change and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
