Isaiah 48:17-19, Psalm 1 & Matthew 11:16-19
The smile of life’s journey is on my face this morning as I look back to Who taught me how to prevail and conquer the fear of living life to share faith, live charity and proclaim the Truth; Jesus Christ. He taught me by my surrender of living in a relationship with Him fearing nothing seeking to always prevail to share His Redemption. I’ve listened to friends and family alike scoff at the surrender my life has now become but I enjoy the vindication by the wisdom I have enjoyed reaping Truth by my practice, prayer and proclamation. God teaches us how to prevail by living His Word and people will see this in us all who take the Yoke of Christ and fit it squarely on our shoulders to love our love of loving Him.
Last night I traveled to see and old friend and attend a presidential round table discussion group to share our thoughts and feelings about whom we support for president. Before I arrived there, my old friend Jimmy and I had dinner together and before we began I prayed over our meal asking our LORD to guide Jimmy to His Will. As we caught up from the last 6 years, I explained to him that God has given me a life of liberty filled with faith, an amazing wife and a sense of peace knowing as long as I read His Word daily and act upon His Truth, I will find wisdom to live life in His joy. As we parted, I prayed God would enlighten his soul with His Truth and I think he was surprised I hugged him as I do all Christian Brothers and Sisters saying “God Bless You.”
By God, His Son and His Spirit we pray to prevail by our surrender to His Word. We pray for Tim constantly. We pray for every child and parent. We pray for Bob and Mary Carter. We pray for a young man named Connor. We pray for each other- our families and friends. We pray for Prayer Point. We pray for Michael who is looking for work in ministry. We pray for all Christian radio stations especially LIFE FM of South Florida. We pray for the Spirit to accept, bravery in God to change and intelligence of Christ’s Truth to know. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
