I shall cultivate the ground around it and fertilize it; it may bear fruit in the future. If not you can cut it down. Luke 13:8c-9

Wig’s Word of God Today 10-22-2011

The concern of the flesh is hostility toward God; it does not submit to the Law of God, nor can it; and those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:7-8

I shall cultivate the ground around it and fertilize it; it may bear fruit in the future. If not you can cut it down. Luke 13:8c-9

Romans 8:1-11, Psalm 24 & Luke 13:1-9

A mind controlled by the flesh has a soul controlled by the flesh and life’s purpose has a heart given to Satan. You cannot serve two Masters. Jesus made it very clear: “No one can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24 I think we’ve all known someone who has lived this hostility towards God. People like you and me. Not pleasing God all the time.

Our surrender complete comes from knowing how to channel His Truth into our very being relishing in a complete submission of His Spirit. The flesh becomes not ignored nor adored seeking only His Will in mind, mouth and motivation. Pleasing God is living His Will learning His Word, laboring in prayer and loving your proclamation to glorify Him voiding the flesh of greed and lust. Sharing Jesus and His Priceless Redemption. Amen!

We have to let go and allow God to use us in His Way for His Purpose actively cultivating the ground around you to become His Fruitful Servant of faith, charity and love. Take time to apply God’s Word as fertilizer to your faith giving way to deed in charity. Give your life a chance to live in forgiveness of lust and flesh. Be driven by giving God the first and last thing you do everyday. Live in a community of faithful friends in Christ and build up His Kingdom around your everyday accomplishments.

Proudly say, “This day is for You LORD.” People will see the strength of His love in your smile. Together we can all smile by living His Truth. Sometimes we do this by serving others on a Friday night instead of serving ourselves. We take time to listen to a prisoner getting ready to go home craving prayer from the outside. He is so hopeful he can live in society again by His Truth. Kairos has given him God’s resources of faith to overcome the desires of flesh. Please offer a prayer of hope for men and women like him to become and example of His Redemption. In His Name I pray. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we pray today to avoid flesh and please You. We pray by our love of Your Word we can share It with pride and cultivate our life for Your Glory. We pray for children of the world. We pray prayers of peace and healing for the prisoners of our Kairos Ministry. You know their needs LORD. We pray this in the Name of Christ Jesus. Amen.

God Bless His Truth for America,

A Poem of the Barren Fig Tree Parable

A fig tree stood all alone

His owner forgot he wasn’t grown

No fruit for three years had been sown

Cut it down no fruit it has known

Exhaust the soil no more he said

While the Gardner stood by nodding His head

Leave it a year more to know

My labor and love I’ll carefully show

His fruit will bear the evidence of faith

Cultivating your life void of hate

Less be cut down by the Judge of fate

His Cross Redemption We Can Always Relate

About Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

My name is Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins. I first recognize Christ as my Savior in all things. I am married to my best friend and Soul-Mate in Christ, Antonia Cruz-Wiggins. I am a University of Florida graduate of Public Relations, a US Navy Veteran and a Montessori Elementary School Teacher. I love life and God's help of living it! I follow the Light of Christ in everything I do! I love writing poetry about the Lord and I create a new poem from each Scripture I discern in my daily mediations. You can almost follow the poem by looking at the readings for each day. I started sharing this small yet personal scripture study four years ago when one day I was reading the bible and the Holy Spirit moved me to share the verse with a group of about 40 Christian Men in my Emmaus Ministry who get together weekly to celebrate the Lord and talk about His Truth. Since then the number of people I share my study with has grown to over 650. I enjoy an open loving dialog about anything I write and I have strived to write what I know the Lord wants me to share steering clear of offending anyone’s spiritual beliefs because I share my work with people I meet in public when I strike up a conversation about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It took almost 2 years to begin writing what the Holy Spirit leads me to say. I believe that all Christians must unite as One Body of Christ’s Love to accomplish the joy of living with love, honor and respect. I reach out to Humanity to share His Salvation be it Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Episcopal or any other religion or belief. I seek to mirror His Compassion, His Simpleness, His Charity and His Love. While I am Catholic, I believe we must all unite in the Lord to become One Body in Christ to bring our children back to The Church. I am humbled to share my study with you. Please feel free to comment any time. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my Joy because I am a Disciple of His Truth. I am honored to share my Bible study with anyone you may recommend. As always, I remain, Yours in Christ, Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
