Suffering seek prayer church hands console
Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone in good spirits? He should sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the presbyters of the church, and they should pray over him and anoint [him] with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven. James 5:13-15
Because of his anguish he shall see the light; because of his knowledge he shall be content; My servant, the just one, shall justify the many, their iniquity he shall bear. Isaiah 53:11
We do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has similarly been tested in every way, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15

We can all remember the sickness of sin sapping our energy and giving us the blues most likely famished treating health as a distant need. One day it all catches up to us reeling us in like long fought fish caught with perseverance, patience and pain. We must experience the trifles of life by the stupidity of selfishness. I too was caught in this web of deception aching for love, faith and hope to rescue my shame of being tortured for pleasure?
The crime doesn’t seem to fit the intensity of love we feel for another but this type of violation coupled with a continued threat of death makes the shame seem that much more overwhelming. We’ve all had them in some sort of way either by an approaching love in dating or the unwanted forceful advancement of personal space and dignity. It seems to rip this part of you straight to the anguish you seem to run from for years-and-years-and-years.
Once we learn to be slave of all in Charity can we feel the release of shame over time that rectifies all past problems of self forced or coerced into sin. God does sympathize for those of us who need our shame to go away. Practice, pray and proclaim in every thought action and deed to become Spirit-led God-Inspired Christ-fed! Welcomed home to Salvation. Amen.
So we pray, LORD lead us away from shame to Salvation.
