Wig’s Word of God Today 11-28-2010
Let us then throw off the works of darkness (and) put on the armor of light; let us conduct ourselves properly as in the day, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in promiscuity and licentiousness, not in rivalry and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the desires of the flesh. Romans 13:12-14
Isaiah 2:1-5, Psalm 122: 1-2, 3-4, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, Romans 13:11-14 & Matthew 24:37-44
The world seems to thrive on flesh and wearing too little too often. So much so I believe many women have lost their dignity when it comes to wearing clothes showing too much cleavage and skin. I am proud to say my wife has so much respect for this matter that she always wears something underneath her clothes to hide showing too much skin. It makes me proud of her decision to be dignified when wearing clothes in public and she is a model for all women to mimic. Paul reminds us of this in Romans 13: 12-14 when he writes “Let us then throw off the works of darkness (and) put on the armor of light; let us conduct ourselves properly as in the day, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in promiscuity and licentiousness, not in rivalry and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the desires of the flesh.” Amen.
If humanity at large followed the Way of the Lord and abided by His Word, I believe we would have less teenage pregnancies, less sexual assaults and less promiscuity. Teach your children the ways to conduct themselves with dignity and honor. Someone please stand-up and tell the youth of today that wearing your pants so we can see your underwear is an act of disrespect lacking proper dignity and honor. We as parents have a lot of teaching to do to correct what we have allowed main stream media to condone and promote. Our future depends on it. Loving your love of Christ allows you to walk in dignity and honor to seek the Will of the Lord and not your own agenda but the needs of sharing faith, hope, charity and love. Are you ready to meet the challenge to instill “Common Sense” into the youth of today for a better tomorrow?
And so we pray: My Lord and My God, we pray the youth of toady will seek Your ways to accomplish dignity and honor. We pray parents learn to teach their children respect for caring for themselves with joy of heart to end promiscuity in the world. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
God Bless,
