Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. Writing the same things to you is no burden for me but is a safeguard for you. Beware of the dogs! Beware of the evil workers! Beware of the mutilation! For we are the circumcision, we who worship through the Spirit of God, who boast in Christ Jesus and do not put our confidence in flesh, although I myself have grounds for confidence even in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he can be confident in flesh, all the more can I. Philippians 3:1-4

Oh the flesh. Seems so soft and supple, doesn’t it? Yet drives the inner pang of selfish desires unless thwarted by the grace of Salvation! Amen. I for one admit life in leisure hindering the Spirit creates obsessions granting instant relief mutilating the soul finding life without hope with Eternal thoughts of worshipping the Presence of the Lord. Make the Holy Spirit welcome filling glory to every surrendered practice daily done in love of He who Shouldered the sins of the world.
We can’t run from this for as Paul reminds us; if sinners boast in the flesh “all the more can I” in Christ Jesus! Amen! I feel this in my marriage now that I feared would be boring as a young man raising two small children fighting demons of unspeakable circumstances to deny God’s Son yet know God in a heart called in every circumstance ever felt or experienced that God knew my name. I call on Him daily to rid myself of the “Looking Down Syndrome” to pray openly as the proclamation He wants and provided living forgiven in the works Salvation’s Charity; Jesus! Amen!
So we pray, Lord Your Spirit gives us joy nothing comes close to Your Living Hope. Novena prayers Day Three for my grandson Oliver Harry born Jan 19th and all family concerned. LORD from Philippians 3:20 I chant for all families across the world, “Our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we also await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
