LORD, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples. Luke 11:1d

Jonah 4:1-11, Psalm 86 & Luke 11:1-4

Do you ever feel you help open the eyes of the blind to receive the forgiveness Jesus Christ offers to humanity for the Redemption of Sins? Many people might come to you by your Walk by following the example Christ gave His Disciple to pray the LORD’s prayer but our LORD wants even more from us in prayer by our action in faith, hope and love. Jesus knows your prayer life should be active in word and in deed not relinquishing the work to others but establishing the desire to give your all to His Truth in every way your life can represent for His Gospel.

We must enthusiastically seek to share His Way by our own examples of faith, prayer and deed by actively giving of yourself the time, talent and treasures your energy, abilities and worth can give out. We must all diligently look for our calling in Christ Jesus be it cleaning your neighborhood by picking up trash, bringing clothes to the homeless, delivering food from donations to the hungry, teaching our little ones His Truth in Sunday School or giving a prisoner a reason to live behind the walls of civil judgment. There is something God wants you to do but He wants you to actively seek His guidance to accomplish His Will by practice, prayer and proclamation. Actively seek to share your love of loving Christ Jesus. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to live Your prayers of actively seeking Your Will. We pray for strength to live our lives for Your Glory. We pray the children who need parents to give their lives to God instead of living in selfish acts of sin. We pray for my daughter Alexandra to find peace and healing. We pray this in His Son’s Holy and Precious Name, Christ Jesus. Amen.

The LORD’s Prayer as Life’s Homily

LORD teach us to pray

Your Will to obey

As Disciples of Truth

Our souls as Your use

Hallowed is Your Name

Kingdom void of shame

Where the weak and the lame

Live in Truth are the same

Feed us LORD by Your Will

Not worried of food to instill

Action in faith, charity and deed

Our bodies Your use our only need

Sins to be Eternally Forgiven

By repenting to You in Heaven

Your Son the Scar of Redemption

His Blood cleansed our sinful livin’

We will forgive those whose greed repeal

Our joy on earth by lost appeal

Shedding anger and guilt to deal

Destiny in Your Truth we live to feel

Evil shielded from our life to give

Temptation void in lives we live

The Truth in Word our guide to be

The LORD’s Prayer as Life’s Homily

About Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

My name is Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins. I first recognize Christ as my Savior in all things. I am married to my best friend and Soul-Mate in Christ, Antonia Cruz-Wiggins. I am a University of Florida graduate of Public Relations, a US Navy Veteran and a Montessori Elementary School Teacher. I love life and God's help of living it! I follow the Light of Christ in everything I do! I love writing poetry about the Lord and I create a new poem from each Scripture I discern in my daily mediations. You can almost follow the poem by looking at the readings for each day. I started sharing this small yet personal scripture study four years ago when one day I was reading the bible and the Holy Spirit moved me to share the verse with a group of about 40 Christian Men in my Emmaus Ministry who get together weekly to celebrate the Lord and talk about His Truth. Since then the number of people I share my study with has grown to over 650. I enjoy an open loving dialog about anything I write and I have strived to write what I know the Lord wants me to share steering clear of offending anyone’s spiritual beliefs because I share my work with people I meet in public when I strike up a conversation about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It took almost 2 years to begin writing what the Holy Spirit leads me to say. I believe that all Christians must unite as One Body of Christ’s Love to accomplish the joy of living with love, honor and respect. I reach out to Humanity to share His Salvation be it Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Episcopal or any other religion or belief. I seek to mirror His Compassion, His Simpleness, His Charity and His Love. While I am Catholic, I believe we must all unite in the Lord to become One Body in Christ to bring our children back to The Church. I am humbled to share my study with you. Please feel free to comment any time. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my Joy because I am a Disciple of His Truth. I am honored to share my Bible study with anyone you may recommend. As always, I remain, Yours in Christ, Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
