Oh, that today you would hear His voice: Do not harden your heartsPsalm 95:7d-8a

Whoever does not love Me does not keep My Words; yet the Word you hear is not Mine but that of the Father who sent Me. John 14:24

Acts 14:5-18, Psalm 95 & John 14:21-26

When we hear His voice, we sometimes become frightened unable to respond due to distractions we create to garner wealth or selfish gratification. We lose sight of living in faith, hope and love not willing to practice what we should give to accomplish the Will of God by the Works He beckons us all to live. Here, we find charity on all planes of giving sharing the Smile of Christ even in the worst of situations finding those conflicted to the point of death from the addiction many let ruin their natural God-given desire to live.

I met this smile of Christ yesterday as he stumbled along in front of a strip mall. He was obviously worn-out physically skin as brown and red as sunburnt skin can get while his shoes looked three sizes too large with one of his big toes black as coal from grime stuck out screaming anguish. I asked him if he was hungry and offered to buy him something hot to eat. He readily agreed seemingly shy but willing to say yes to something cold to drink as well. I returned a moment or so later with a cold soda and sized him up guessing his shoe, waist and shirt size throwing in his exact age.

He was a size 9 shoe holding on to a 32 waist and a medium shirt shortly turning 58 years old. His name is Mike and we began an encounter that lasted about an hour but will garner prayers for a life-time. You see I was on my motorcycle and I had to go home to pick up the shoes he so desperately needed. He agreed to pick up his food on his own and wait for me to return. Together upon my return we talked about doing what God does for all humanity by living Redeemed in Christ accomplishing the Works you hear in the voice He guides you by. I pray we can all keep and live His Word by accepting this surrender of being obedient to Charity’s Call; Jesus! Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray to heed Your Word and act. Prayers for listener’s intentions request across the world on Closer Walk Media dot com. Prayers for Kairos Prison Ministry of DCI#49. Greg Bishop has our never ending prayers. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD, from Psalm 95:6 I chant, “Let us bow down in worship; let us kneel before the LORD who made us.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I am surrendered in Christ,

About Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

My name is Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins. I first recognize Christ as my Savior in all things. I am married to my best friend and Soul-Mate in Christ, Antonia Cruz-Wiggins. I am a University of Florida graduate of Public Relations, a US Navy Veteran and a Montessori Elementary School Teacher. I love life and God's help of living it! I follow the Light of Christ in everything I do! I love writing poetry about the Lord and I create a new poem from each Scripture I discern in my daily mediations. You can almost follow the poem by looking at the readings for each day. I started sharing this small yet personal scripture study four years ago when one day I was reading the bible and the Holy Spirit moved me to share the verse with a group of about 40 Christian Men in my Emmaus Ministry who get together weekly to celebrate the Lord and talk about His Truth. Since then the number of people I share my study with has grown to over 650. I enjoy an open loving dialog about anything I write and I have strived to write what I know the Lord wants me to share steering clear of offending anyone’s spiritual beliefs because I share my work with people I meet in public when I strike up a conversation about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It took almost 2 years to begin writing what the Holy Spirit leads me to say. I believe that all Christians must unite as One Body of Christ’s Love to accomplish the joy of living with love, honor and respect. I reach out to Humanity to share His Salvation be it Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Episcopal or any other religion or belief. I seek to mirror His Compassion, His Simpleness, His Charity and His Love. While I am Catholic, I believe we must all unite in the Lord to become One Body in Christ to bring our children back to The Church. I am humbled to share my study with you. Please feel free to comment any time. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my Joy because I am a Disciple of His Truth. I am honored to share my Bible study with anyone you may recommend. As always, I remain, Yours in Christ, Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
