I lie down and I fall asleep, [and] I will wake up, for the LORD sustains me. Salvation is from the LORD! May Your blessing be upon Your people!  Psalm 3:6, 9

First Kings 12:26-32; 13:33-34, Psalm 3 & Mark 8:1-10

When we lie down and fall asleep or rise and wake up, do we thank our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ for the Salvation He gives to all? The distractions of evil dressed up in Sunday Best places the emphasis away from what Truth really means for you and for me. The focus has been shadowed by less clothes and more personal display of affection for pleasures rallying around the wrong cause. Are we looking for sin or are we looking for Salvation? The Center of the world revolves around Three asking us to be all we can to accomplish true charity.

The Truth wants man to be ever grateful giving thanks continually by the faith we place to practice, practice and practice some more. God First can’t be a cliché we speak about on Sunday mornings. Placing God First is an obedient life to Truth embracing the faith we receive from the grace of practice- simply reading your Bible every day and speaking to the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost aloud active in Truth relishing righteousness by the love our hearts beat for. Try to lie down in Christ and awake in Christ aloud or in your soul to practice, pray and proclaim faith, hope and love of charity. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to lie down in You LORD and awake in You LORD. Happy 27th birthday to my oldest son Allen Thomas Wiggins. Prayers for the soul of Deacon Green’s wife Doris. Constant prayers for TD. Greg Bishop has our never-ending prayers. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD from Psalm 3:5, I chant, “With my own voice I will call out to the LORD, and He will answer me.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

How the wicked of David by God He would chide– Psalm 3

Psalm three was a flee

Absalom David’s son would conceive

Death for David he tried to see

Nothing but trust would David believe

Rising against the king to steal

The crown for a son he couldn’t conceal

Foes a plenty agree not of his God’s appeal

Salvation was the Truth the LORD was his shield

Glory and honor keeping his head high

Calling out aloud the LORD sustained his cry

Asleep when I lie down on my knees to abide

Waking up by God His protection David would confide

Even though people by the thousands on all sides

The LORD did arise to save David’s hide

Foes cheekbone was struck their teeth would collide

How the wicked of David by God He would chide

LORD is Salvation His Blessing upon David would rise

First Kings 11:29-32; 12:19, Psalm 2 & Mark 7:31-37

We never know when or why God will correct us in the midst of being selfish and neglectful when following the Truth God instills in the world. We admonish Truth in our life by taking not the time to give God our undivided attention but to think God is a distant relative we visit only on family reunions conversed about under whispered tones of denial. The passion of God comes from knowing His Son Jesus Who gave us freedom by taking the sin of the world dying to overcome despair Rising to live Redeemed.

We all enjoy this Freedom by the passion we place around our practice to know our Bible not in silent or whispered tones but by faith to hope for Truth in the love we share for His Charity understanding correction is God’s way of keeping us all on the right track totally in Truth. Allow God to be First for all else will fall into place according to His Will corrected and Renewed in Salvation’s Glory. None of us can throw blame at any sinner when asked by Jesus, “let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.” Amen.

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in company with scoffers. Rather, the Law of the LORD is his joy; and on His Law he meditates day and night. Psalm 1:1-2

First Kings 11:4-13, Psalm 1 & Mark 7:24-30

I begin a one hundred fifty day walk through the Psalms seeking to convert each into God-inspired poetry reflecting the Spirit of God fed by faith, hope and love of Christ’s Charity. My prayer is to publish God’s work of placing God First allowing a surefire way of how God asks us to be obedient to His Son’s Truth. Of course I see our walk with God as following the Three P’s of passion, purpose and peace by your practice, prayer and proclamation of God and the Trinity’s Truth.

First, to walk in the Way of the LORD can only be achieved by opening your Bible daily in practice living His passion of righteousness confident your life has your obedience to only His Will. Practice leads to perfection by the prayer you live constantly. God asks me to tell you again; constantly. Because prayer is not palms held together with eyes closed held out in front of you but prayer is the thoughts you generate in Him by a complete Communion with His Spirit.

Here, peace is achieved in the final “P” by the proclamation your practice and prayer has given you. We must be bold to evangelize the Truth leaving our comfort zone by living His Will of faith, hope and love of charity. We place God First in the meditation we give of His Laws knowing His Righteousness surpasses all for the Trinity we place our trust in acknowledging grace by the charity we live for Him and Him alone. We seek not the company of the wicked but share Christ’s Salvation of Everlasting Life. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to walk in practice, prayer and proclamation to love Your Will LORD. Prayers for the daughter of our a/c man. Constant prayers for TD. LORD from Psalm 1:5-6, I chant, “Therefore the wicked will not arise at the judgment, nor will sinners in the assembly of the just. Meditating each every night as he prays

Constantly firm as a tree watered by a stream each day

Roots given to soil that is rich

Fruits yielded every season to wit

All these evils come from within and they defile.” Mark 7:23

Thoughts of Truth are best

He said to them, “Are even you likewise without understanding? Do you not realize that everything that goes into a person from outside cannot defile, since it enters not the heart but the stomach and passes out into the latrine?” (Thus Jesus declared all foods clean.) “But what comes out of a person that is what defiles. From within people, from their hearts, come evil thoughts, unchastity, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, licentiousness, envy, blasphemy, arrogance, folly. All these evils come from within and they defile.” Mark 7:18-23

First Kings 10:1-10, Psalm 150 & Mark 7:14-23

Even a Disciple has trouble completely understanding the parables Jesus would tell instilling a desire to learn and taught to know Eternal Peace living forever in Truth. If you are newly surrendered and want nothing more than to know this forgiveness, then you must profess constantly your trust in His faith, hope and love to live forgiven obedient to God’s Truth in charity. Here, we find not the need to give money to someone poor and homeless but to reach out without judgment and clothe their nakedness by sharing your excess shedding self for satisfaction by Truth.

As we stopped to share clothes and shoes with a homeless man yesterday that we have befriended many times before, we met his wife for the first time sharing prayer and conversation exchanging not cash but releasing charity in Christ. The daily grind of walking a corner gave a deep contrast between them and another nice dressed  woman with clean trimmed long hair holding a sign reading she was a ex-teacher needing to feed her children selling carnations for a dollar a piece. The homeless couple was bronzed by dirt and sun aching for a shower and clean clothes while the lady was very pristine. Turning to survival each had their reason for being there and my wife and I pray that sharing love instilling hope to bring about a life of faith will instill in others to practice, pray and proclaim God’s Truth shedding the evil of self. Amen.

First Kings 8:22-30, Psalm 149 & Mark 7:1-13

The world denies the Truth to find human tradition of eloquence be it speech or the sweet success of excess allowing behavior to be disguised as “getting ahead” fulfilling your dreams. Yes, these dreams have come full circle allowing anything, anywhere and anytime to be displayed as a flag of honor disrupting society’s purity for plunder. Everything from education to sex has been changed by the side that used to be the minority now swinging more-and-more to the majority finding disrespect across all planes of mankind where sexual content is openly discussed in public places visually and verbally. The media has created a new human tradition that has furthered the implications of the children of tomorrow. We are teaching them to disregard God for excess of self shunning His Commandments for immediate gratification. Let us cling to the Heart of Christ where forgiveness will allow you the faith, hope and love of Truth establishing charity living for His Truth. Amen.

Father glorified by your Deeds Good Light Redeeming

If you lavish your food on the hungry and satisfy the afflicted; Then your light shall rise in the darkness, and your gloom shall become like midday. Isaiah 58:10

My message and my proclamation were not with persuasive (words of) wisdom, but with a demonstration of Spirit and Power, so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the Power of God. 1st Cor 2:4-5

Just so, your Light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Heavenly Father. Matthew 5:16

Isaiah 58:7-10, Psalm 147, First Corinthians 2:1-5 & Matthew 5:13-16

Letting go of human wisdom takes a trust only God can give you allowing you such peace, passion and purpose to forsake no one sharing Salvation by the Light you live in faith, hope and love of Charity’s All. Letting go and letting God takes practice, prayer and even more practice and prayer not to persuade but transform lives into the Truth Christ gives to all. Letting go and letting God comes from reading your Bible each day in practice resting not on human wisdom but wisdom granted only by the grace God bestows in the demonstration of His Truth lived in every second of every day.

Here, you find the passion to “glorify your Heavenly Father” without regard keeping a Light of Truth in your thoughts, actions and deeds to demonstrate the Power of God in circumstances only He could protect. Seek the less fortunate in His protection to know how Charity’s Call will guide you to practice and pray continuing His passion to practice and pray even more until His Purpose rests in proclamation you exhibit by words and by facts establishing poise in silence as well as verbally through actions of kindness by God’s Truth in His Favor. What He has given to you is the peace, passion and purpose to glorify the Father in how you practice, pray and proclaim. Amen.

King David reminds me of how many of us feel at this very moment in our lives captivated by the love of God allowing Truth to find our soul’s purpose. The Prophet today speaks of David’s surrender as I remind you he made mistakes too. Big mistakes but he always repented asking God to show him Truth in every blink of his eye. While we strive not to make mistakes, they occur in our weakest moments denying the effort it takes not to and simply be Truthful. It hurts and you know when it happens as soon as you do it or say it for lies are more than words they are facts about every moment of your life.

Days of Old have drifted away by the openness of this Truth telling in today’s world where openness about abortion to sexuality apparently even down to the darkest of mankind’s infection of sin is worn on the sleeves of most of humanity. I will say I’m sorry over-and-over again by the life I lead to carry faith, hope and love as the openness God asks all to live. God tells us not to condone but pray for sinners openly holding arms wide reminding them Salvation awaits those who allow Truth to infect their soul. Saying I’m sorry for having offended Thee goes a long way in the eyes of God. Amen.

People want to say over-and-over again that walking with God is too hard too impossible for in life our self will always get in the way, Right? I’m sure many of us would argue that God is the air we breathe allowing us to experience so much in so little of time. Life will fly you by if you just blink an eye where rubbing your sty takes you to your last breath in the bed you do lie. The Way of the LORD is filled with faith, hope and love engaging your life with repentance walking in charity by the Truth you know in your heart.

David today was telling his son Solomon to Walk in His Ways to live as much as to know His Word by his actions of reigning in his immaturity standing up to be a “man.” Maybe you’ve heard those words from someone over your life asking you to be strong when strength by God is the responsibility laid in the foundation God created for mankind. You know His Mandates when we sin by self but I think we actualize His Truth when we practice, pray and proclaim the charity God placed in the heart of humanity. Amen.
