For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the Gospel, and not with the wisdom of human eloquence, so that the Cross of Christ might not be emptied of its meaning. First Corinthians 1:17

He said to them, “Come after Me, and I will make you Fishers of Men.” Matthew 4:19

Isaiah 8:23–9:3, Psalm 133, First Corinthians 1:10-17 & Matthew 4:12-23

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree in what you say, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and in the same purpose” as Paul described and was amongst his fellow Christians detailing in First Corinthians 1:10 how we all should be joined in One Purpose and that Purpose is sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ!

We cannot empty the Gospel of its meaning no matter how hard the world around you tries by letting the Gospel be a part of your daily practice preparing you for His Cross to be carried high above your being. We must as Paul realize the importance of preaching the Gospel directing those who need baptism to the right people in charge keeping faith, hope and love as the center of living Christ’s Charity. We are Fishers of Men by this example gaining souls for the Kingdom of God Eternal Life promised only in the Gospel God Guaranteed! Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray not for human eloquence but to live the meaning of Your Son’s Cross. Novena prayers day five for Cecile Silva. Constant prayers for TD. We all have a conversion story of some type bringing us to our knees aligning us with God and His Will. Maybe you saw a Light as Saul did his faithful day but maybe you didn’t still searching for a sign to say yes in a world full of no’s. Our Saul turned Paul aligned with the Spirit of Christ Baptizing Himself in Truth finding the Way and the Light of the world is to be given without cost lived without fear formed in every breath we take. I once wrote Saul turned Paul was a liar turned Friar Baptized in Light converted to darkness so bright setting him on a fast that would last three days of no water or drink in darkness.

You know the darkness, the one where you sin and feel it surrounding you as a filth you can’t breathe in. The Way our liar turned Friar chose was the Way of Light in the Eye of Truth. We live differently when we find God’s Word beckoning us to live fully as seen by God. Sure we’ll experience bumps and darkness but God will Light up your life even in those times to teach, transpose and temper your life’s destiny in faith, hope and love of charity. “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Not by you for God asks us not to judge but nudge the sinner to experience Salvation not tribulation knowing Redemption not exclusion witnessing a liar becoming a survivor for Truth. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to see our conversion Light constantly by living in Truth. Novena prayers day four for Cecile Silva. Constant prayers for TD. Wickedness comes from the wicked who deny

As the old proverb says, ‘From the wicked comes wickedness.’ 1 Sam 24:14a

First Samuel 24:3-21, Psalm 131 & Mark 3:13-19

Jealousy and pride can get in the way of any person when we don’t place God First to align your communion with God and His Will. King Saul would have surely been killed if David had not sought God in every decision he made for himself as well as his home Israel. David brought about the courage only God could instill in a person as Saul watched in envy David slowly be given the kingship upon which he was anointed to assume. To live as God intended we walk amongst the wicked attempting to save their souls by the love Christ Redeemed the world with beckoning the sinner to know His peace by His Word of Truth. Be the wicked’s Eternal Flame of faith, hope and love allowing as Saul to know the heart of a Child of God who place God First forever. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to share the Truth with the wicked as well as the people of Good Will. Novena prayers day three for Cecile Silva. Constant prayers for TD. Wickedness comes from the wicked who deny– First Samuel 24:3-21

Wild goat crags filled its side
The mountain David would hide
From his jealous king and his pride
David kept no wickedness to confide

Sparring the king upon his grasp
David cut off his mantle to snatch
Regretting his action to pass
No judgment on Saul to hatch

Bowing in homage the king was surprised
David acknowledging him never despised
Not killing the king would allow him to survive
Wickedness comes from the wicked who deny

Rewarded king of Israel by God’s Might
Unharmed no enemy to oblige his right
God First will be David’s battle cry of night
Nothing to hide for God’s anointed leading light

First Samuel 18:6-9; 19:1-7, Psalm 130 & Mark 3:7-12

We not only want to hear God in His Word but we want to hear God speak to us in faith, hope and love our lives represent urging us to give, gather and guarantee forgiveness to anyone for anything at any time by the Cross we confess and believe with every last breath the desire of our hearts love we represent. I can hear Him whisper to me often soothing my fears confessing obedience.

Here, we find the reverence needed to give God and His fellow man every ounce of charity’s need forgoing selfishness for faith expressing hope by prayer void of greed speaking His Word to embellish love. We must adorn Him in everything placing God First above every thought, action and deed. Always remember, God “is forgiveness” and as such will be “revered.” Amen.

In a king’s safety confided
Many died in battle

David had to hide
Saul sinned in pride
Song made Saul sad
Only a 100o he did bag

Singing of David’s vast amount
The people sang 10,000 the count
Oh Saul was greeted with fear
His son Jonathan remained near

Jonathan liked David a bunch
He decided to sway his dad on a hunch
Telling David to hide so he could speak
To King Saul his father who chose he who was meek

The king swore his allegiance to God
No longer worried of David’s song nod
Granting forgiveness of pride to gain

Blessed are all who fear the LORD, and who walk in His Ways. Psalm 128:1

First Samuel 16:1-13, Psalm 128 & Mark 2:23-28

I was walking normal confident steps from my kitchen grasping a cup of hot coffee making a path to my chair where I write each day asking God to guide my thoughts, my actions and my deeds when suddenly my right foot hit a splash of coffee that projected ahead of me from an upwards splatter falling exactly where my right foot was to plant and pivot causing me to fly into the air coming down on my elbow wrenching my back creating a small lake of coffee across the floor glimmering with my face in it.

I landed on my bath robe clutching the cup of coffee realizing I kept half in as I brought it to my mouth for a sip. I just laid there pondering if I should call my wife or walk in His Ways to find healing no matter the pain. I stood carefully feeling jolted but alive in Christ making my way in His Way to continue my thoughts, action and deeds of Him. I was shocked but alive hopeful to abide in His Will to never hide the love He gave me. Sometimes we learn to walk in His Ways we must sometimes slip and fall. Amen.

I will make You a Light to the nations, that My Salvation may reach to the ends of the earth. Isaiah 49:6f

Called to be an Apostle of Christ Jesus by the Will of God. First Corinthians 1:1

I did not know Him, but the One who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘On whomever you see the Spirit come down and remain, He is the One who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ Now I have seen and testified that He is the Son of God.” John 1:33-34

Isaiah 49:3, 5-6, Psalm 126, First Corinthians 1:1-3 & John 1:29-34

God brought His Salvation to the world in the Sacrifice of His Son Christ Jesus signifying a Light to all nations that would reach to the very ends of the earth. We have seen Christ spread in 2000 years to the very “ends of the earth” touching lives with faith, reenergizing souls with hope and wrapping each in the love of God the Father. You and I are just as much a part of this apostleship as Paul was in the beginning living only for the Will of God. John testified that only One had the Spirit come down from Heaven and rest upon the shoulders of Salvation after being Baptized in His Father’s Name. Now it up to you to keep testifying how the Truth aligns your life with every facet of God’s Charity spreading the love of Redemption by the life we lead in God’s Will. Amen.

I did not come to call the righteous but sinners.” Mark 2:15-17

First Samuel 9:1-4, 17-19; 10:1, Psalm 125 & Mark 2:13-17

Jesus may have said, “Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s,” but haven’t we always had a hard time paying taxes constantly seeking to escape paying the lowest possible levis we can. Levi better known as Matthew was a tax collector who saw more than money in Christ; He saw the freedom of Truth in living faith, hope and love given by God. Jesus drew the weak to Him by the strength felt in God’s Miracles knowing if He could heal lepers and make the blind see He could certainly help those who were sick of being called the outcasts of their regions more so the ones who collected taxes making a profit by what they charged on top of what is owed. They were the thieves among the poor living rich adrift in sin searching for Truth to set them free.

Jesus looked for the sinners of sick souls expecting the righteous to carry themselves by their willingness to love and give forgiveness. He gave us this example in judging the adulteress, “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” I know, it’s tough to eat with sinners let alone be seen with them. First, God asks us not to judge anyone as we seek to embrace love and forgiveness as the core of living for God First. This means welcoming all who are in need as much as those who provide. Yes, we are all sinners living righteous to know Salvation in the faith, hope and love we live in charity. Repent and hold on judging not the sinner or yourself amercing yourself in His Word to practice, pray and proclaim love and forgiveness. Amen.

God has been rejected over-and-over again creating judgment none of us can escape or ignore for once God has His Way with the antics of humanity He’ll place you where He wants you for all Eternity. We can’t escape it and we want to think we can ignore it in the free will He has given us since the beginning of time. It seems many us can be seduced away from the King of Truth because many are ignorant to the Truth that is silent in the midst of His Word.

In the depths of your thoughts so silent resides the presence of God giving off faith, hope and love we may not see but can feel we think we cannot touch it yet touch the soothing admission of Him in everything we find pleasure in. Here, the intimacy God is can be rejected or embraced celebrated or ignored in the self will we know in Truth giving us His Will of Redemption. Amen.

First Samuel 4:1-11, Psalm 123 & Mark 1:40-45

We revisit the cleaning of the leper asking if Jesus would cleanse him by a wish, “If you wish, you can make me clean.” The response of Jesus shows we can only become clean by the Power of God not some half-hearted wish that lacks the faith, hope and love of Truth! I remember the moment God enlightened me with the difference of Truth or blessings received versus crossing our fingers or saying if only You’d give me this God by a wish, I began giving blessings instead of wishes.

To wish is a false hope while praying for blessings inundates God’s grace of Truth. Reality outplays wishes every time but prayer in the here-and-now aligns with God’s Will. God will give you the strength to accomplish every prayer’s desire called into personalities of God’s favor. We can be shy and poor as much as loud and wealthy in every relationship God instills the personality only you will live in Him or apart constantly finding Redemption in Never-ending Love. Amen.
