Reveal the Father in ways that will take your breath away.

All things have been handed over to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal Him. Matthew 11:27

Exodus 3:1-6, 9-12, Psalm 103 & Matthew 11:25-27

We find revelation in every aspect of our lives like a sponge collecting water we explode when squeezed to reveal the contents of Truth as the revelation we live to experience faith, hope or love. We have faith to yearn for the Living God in thanksgiving for the breath we take to the wiggling of our toes we want to know Him hoping He will reveal Himself to answer our pertinent questions we may never be given the answers to.

Oh, why are we here LORD comes to mind. The hope we discover in the process of knowing God comes from the exploration we delve in the discovery of His joy given freely by living in Truth. In His Truth God reveals His never-ending love allowing all energy to enjoy this revelation brought forth in the little things of life that make such an big impact on the direction your life is leading.

Jesus will reveal the Father in ways that will take your breath away like holding my beautiful wife Toni or seeing her after we part for our day’s work the revelation of God rests here in the reunion of minutes to hours or days when God shows Himself to us through the interlocking of our arms in the “un abrazo” or hug of life. The revelation of God comes from knowing the Son by living His Truth in everything we do. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray Your Son will reveal You LORD to us in everything we do. Novena prayers day eight for Mimi. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 46:1 I chant- “Be still and know that I am God! I am exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Only the Son knows the Father– Matthew 11:25-27

Exclaiming His revelation
His love for the Father of Truth
Jesus gives Him praise in love
His miracles Christ’s connection proof

Earth and Heaven is Yours LORD
Praise Jesus gave to share
The Father knows the wise
The One He sent Who cares

Hidden things so little
The wise never learned
Revealed only to the childlike
The gracious Will God yearned

Given to the Son by the Father
Handed over in eternal faith
Only the Son knows the Father
And anyone the Son won’t waste

Void of arrogance receiving such as the child who follows the Love of Truth.

Exodus 2:1-15, Psalm 69 & Matthew 11:20-25

We must be open to the Gospel of Christ void of arrogance receiving such as the child who follows the Love of Truth by their openness to learning and exploration set not in the ways of selfishness but honored in desired exploration. We must explore the Word of God as a child does their own classroom if we’d just let the child grow at this pace sharing learning with hands and feet and eyes and ears and taste and feel to smell and to seal their learning by exploration giving them the materials of learning to grow. I embrace this world of learning in an environment called Montessori and this year equals a whole new challenge in teaching God’s children.

My focus and energy will reside for a new group of third and fourth graders as I introduce to them the world of exploration leading them in every subject known to man. For this reason I may be cutting back on the amount of reflection creating as I’ve always discussed writing in brevity sharing God’s Truth by example in living the “Three P’s” of placing God First allowing all else to fall into place. Please, I ask anyone who reads my thoughts of God to pray for me as I continue to strive to translate the Bible into poetry and live God’s Will by practice, prayer and preaching. Amen.

They had their woe to know– Matthew 11:20-24

Some did not listen
Garnish Truth in the souls
No one has repented
Jesus observed as He trolled

Chorazin and Bethsaida
You receive Christ’s woe
Deeds of mighty in your midst
You wonder as not knowing where to go

Tyre and Sidon
They had their woe to know
Long ago repented
Sackcloth and ashes they show

Judgment day will crow
Tyre and Sidon will go
Tolerable locations known
Capernaum has truly sown

Heaven to be exalted?
Netherworld down will go true
Mighty deeds in Sodom
Tolerably remained judgment than you

Whoever loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me; and whoever does not take up his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My Sake will find it. Whoever receives you receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives the One who sent Me. Matthew 10:37-40

Wigs Word of God Today 7-15-2013

Receive life as it is lost in His Truth of dignity, determination and denial of self.

Exodus 1:8-22, Psalm 124 & Matthew 10:34–11:1

The travels of life seem to steal away days and nights without a moment’s notice denying or loving the One who gave you life. It seems difficult to accept that we must love God with everything we have even more so than the mother or father who nurtured you or the brother or sister who attended to your emergent needs or even more so the feeling of denying your own child as God willed their existence into a love we feel that could never be taken away or denied ever. I watched and listened to a distant relative give instructions on marriage vows that brought me to the tears of God’s Eternal Love wiping away the pains and hurts of sin’s stupidity. Every time I hear His Truth aloud my heart opens the gates of Spirit filled tears of love. They are as refreshing as the air from the Mountaintop of Salvation received in confession not worthy to untie His shoe.

My only sister’s marriage was simple yet invigorating as I cried listening to God’s bond uniting the needs of family inspired by God’s Truth delivered in beautiful Southern tones by my third or fourth (?) cousin from my mother’s side. How could any of us want to deny this? Family and friends gathered to celebrate Love. Here, we find the reason we love above all for in Him we can never place below the ideals, idiocracy or individualism’s of one to become the all we should never place first. “God First, all else will fall into place” distinguishes the surrender to Christ’s Salvation knowing He is the only Way to Eternal Life in Truth. Not lacking love for family but celebrating family in the Truth of God’s Word. We must lose our life together in family lifting Christ’s Cross with faith, hope and love for Charity’s abilities to receive life as it is lost in His Truth of dignity, determination and denial of self. Let’s Evangelize Jesus not deny Jesus. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to never place anything or anyone above You. Novena prayers day six for Mimi. Novena prayers day eight for Johnny my brother-in-law. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Christ told “they’re not worthy of Me”– Matthew 10:34–11:1

Jesus was assuredly teaching
Apostles avidly reaching
Upon earth peace many are seeking
The sword not peace He’s a greeting

Father will turn on his son
Mother her daughter she’ll shun
In-laws won’t have any sort of fun
Household will have enemies to stun

Do not love parents more than He
Christ told “they’re not worthy of Me”
Nor siblings or offspring to be
Unless My Cross guides you to see

Lose your life to instill
What you find you lose to thrill
For Christ’s Sake we must openly bill
What life we lose to find Salvation’s fill

You will be received by Me
In whoever conceives to believe
The One who sent will achieve
More than a prophet bellowing from his knees

Reward is what he does
Not by God does he live in a fuss
Righteous receives righteous to lust
Reward of the lust they cuss not trust

Give the little ones a drink
Loving roses never stink
Cold water for them in a blink
Lost not God’s reward unless you’re a fink

Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life? Luke 10:25b

Wigs Word of God Today 7-14-2013

Fall to our knees and pray for faith, hope and love to find its charity in me.

Because you will obey the voice of the LORD, your God, keeping the Commandments and Statutes that are written in this Book of the Law, when you return to the LORD, your God, with your whole heart and your whole being. For this command which I am giving you today is not too wondrous or remote for you. It is not in the heavens, that you should say, “Who will go up to the heavens to get it for us and tell us of it, that we may do it?” Nor is it across the sea, that you should say, “Who will cross the sea to get it for us and tell us of it, that we may do it?” No, it is something very near to you, in your mouth and in your heart, to do it. Deuteronomy 30:10-14

He is the image of the Invisible God, the Firstborn of all creation. For in Him were created all things in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things were created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Colossians 1:15-17

Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life? Luke 10:25b

Deuteronomy 30:10-14, Psalm 69, Colossians 1:15-20 & Luke 10:25-37

We find harmony in listening to the voice of the LORD acting not disturbing living not sinning to know Truth in our heartbeat’s purpose. Praying begins this amazing day in the LORD as I have seen miracles in the needs of others. The desire to serve where tears flow from God’s grace of love not the fears caused from self-centered obtrusions. We can learn to relish the wisdom from our elders who have seen the trenches of sin to weather the storm in God’s Divine Will surpassing that of your own desires to fall to our knees and pray for faith, hope and love to find its charity in me.

Yes, we, each of us must fall to our knees one-on-one with God to know the tears we feel in each and every moment of our lives are the Spirit of God washing us clean clearing the fog from our heads to know His Presence in our soul. I felt and heard these feelings of God’s love from a man my father and I had not seen in thirty-plus years yesterday listening to the story thousands of people have heard since 2003 about the birth of Christian films at Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. We recalled the journey of a group of men who thought more of their liquor than food when being stranded in a storm off St. Augustine in a boat drifting two days in peril.

Referring to my father as “Cherokee,” my father’s old friend Ray Wood described how he became Mr. Bridges in the Sherwood Film “Facing the Giants.” Mr. Wood brought those same tears to fall together I spoke of before sharing the miracles of God’s grace in the stories that have changed the lives of countless people. How prayer together has split storms and lifted cars off railroad tracks just as prayer will bring about the grace you need when you need it when your life is surrendered to Christ’s Salvation. We closed our day in prayer with my father praying aloud for Mr. Wood in thanksgiving for our journey surrounded in love. Yes, we learn today living God’s Commandments is a moment-by-moment process living as the Teacher describes loving thy neighbor as thy self. For “He is the image of the Invisible God, the Firstborn of all creation.” Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to inherit Eternal Life by being thankful and acting on Your Son’s Truth. We pray for peace from the verdict of a jury of our peers. Prayers of thanksgiving for Ray Wood and Earl Wiggins reunion. Novena prayers day five for Mimi. Novena prayers day seven for Johnny my brother-in-law. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 107:2 I chant- “Let that be the prayer of the LORD’s redeemed, those redeemed from the hand of the foe.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

But Joseph replied to them: “Do not fear. Can I take the place of God? Even though you meant harm to me, God meant it for good, to achieve this present end, the survival of many people. Genesis 50:19-20

Forgive and serve others in ways only God can direct.

But Joseph replied to them: “Do not fear. Can I take the place of God? Even though you meant harm to me, God meant it for good, to achieve this present end, the survival of many people. Genesis 50:19-20

No disciple is above his teacher, no slave above his master. “Therefore do not be afraid of them. Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light; what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna. Matthew 10:24, 26-28

Genesis 49:29-33; 50:15-24, Psalm 105 & Matthew 10:24-33

I awake today in South Georgia my dad eagerly by my side wanting to engage my thoughts in the midst of soaking in God’s Word. I have plans today to visit an old friend of my fathers over three hours away in Albany, Georgia today allowing two old friends to embrace after 40 years of absence. Forty years ago they would have spoken about cars, booze and women but today because of Face Book I know in my heart they’ll be speaking of God and His Only Son each having turned their life over to at different times in their existence but they have non-the-less professed their love of God’s Truth. Once loud obnoxious drunks they both now live a quiet retired life of God’s Providence praying in the own special ways living the effects of an early life of sin and in some cases a righteous life of Facing the Giants as I’ll explain during my podcast at the end.

Our study of Genesis today reminds me of Joseph’s final response to being treated wrongly as a child being shunned and punished by jealousy and pride seeking favor over harmony. As a child, I witnessed severe havoc at times from excessive selfish behaviors that hid pain from for years wanting not the alcohol that prevented a complete relationship with my father but a hidden desire to mask my confusion and sorrow in the pleasures of sex and drugs singing rock-n-roll hiding from responsibility. I like Joseph know I cannot change the past’s events but I can forgive and serve others in ways only God can direct. As I sit and write this morning, my father nervously picks up around me showing me this-or-that happily yet unknowingly distracting me “to achieve this present end.”

In my eyes, the represented end directs me to follow Christ’s own words of obedience shouting from the rooftops the joy of knowing God’s Truth serving not the hidden desires of the heart but the whispers from Christ in the darkness as I pray daily each early morning in the shadows glowing the Truth read in God’s Word. I pray today my father and his friend can enjoy the love of life by the love God gives us all to serve those in need of His faith, His hope and His love of charity. Forgiven and unafraid. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray LORD to forgive and to live in the darkness what we proclaim in the Light. Prayers for Ray Wood and Earl Wiggins reunion today. Novena prayers day four for Mimi. Novena prayers day six for Johhny my brother-in-law. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 31:6, 19-20 I chant- “Into your hands I commend my spirit; You will redeem me, LORD, God of Truth. Strike dumb their lying lips, which speak arrogantly against the righteous in contempt and scorn. How great is Your goodness, LORD, stored up for those who fear You.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Genesis 46:1-7, 28-30, Psalm 37 & Matthew 10:16-23

Love is an amazing part of life uncontrollable fueled by desires that even a heart that stops beating can feel. When love is combined with hate, they dance like oil and water for there is no controlling the encompassing element of love that knocks the wind out of you absorbing your thoughts of undefiled ecstasy. The feeling of hate is driven by jealousy not jubilation pride not purpose seen in envy corrected by cause.

Once we allow God’s Love of forgiveness to inundate our beings, we endure in the Name of Truth seeing Love where hate flames causing some to run insisting on some to face the heat in the Name of Love. God tells us today it’s okay to run as you are persecuted but understand this; the struggle becomes unpolluted by serving Love enduring the disgust people give by the lack of instruction we must share by our inspirations focusing on endeavors led by charity’s love of Redemption. Each moment spoken as if you swallowed the Spirit

Genesis 44:18-21, 23-29; 45:1-5, Psalm 105 & Matthew 10:7-15

We learn early in life to separate from people who do not wish peace upon you, your family or your friends opting for hostility filled with challenges and spite. For some reason I’ve always been drawn to help those who reject me unwilling to say yes to their purpose maintaining the relationship to share Christ’s Salvation identified by my patience living His Truth. From the “get go” I’ve been surrendered to not hesitating consecrating my life to a life of Christ in thoughts, actions and deeds willing to be loud when needed and quiet by Truth’s accord. I remind myself constantly not to judge another while pouring prayer intentions their way in a constant desire to plead their conversion.

I too just as you can be an instrument in their knowing peace if they appear to have no peace or not know why peace leads to Eternal Life by living peace in faith, hope and love of charity. I feel a calm unlike any point in my life knowing the dust of life comes from people who are stubborn in their ways by the desires our selfish heart yearns for. Like all of you, I’ve lived this selfishness to the point of starvation, sordidness and stupidity placing pointless needs ahead of serving the common good. You can see the hunger by the fuel we obtain or lack in our daily quest to survive the dust that has surrounded and clouded our good judgment. Even for the sleaze of life we must seek to wash in the Light of Christ’s Love lending not to judgment but to the hand of pleasantness polishing the Spirit to make known the mystery of the Gospel bar none. As you go, make this proclamation: ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.’ Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, drive out demons. Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give. Matthew 10:7-8

Wigs Word of God Today 7-10-2013

Truth so prevalent in our thoughts we spoke without speaking.

For I am a God-fearing man. Genesis 42:18d

As you go, make this proclamation: ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.’ Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, drive out demons. Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give. Matthew 10:7-8

Genesis 41:55-57; 42:5-24, Psalm 33 & Matthew 10:1-8

The ability to forgive a blood relative is an example of love that can never be lost or forgotten just as Joseph felt and lived as the recipient of abandonment from jealously like no other. Turning to their youngest brother the majority of the 12-brother clan dropped him in a hole only to be sold as a slave to ultimately become the Governor of the land dispensing rations that saved the lives of his own family.

Here, Joseph became the reason his own family would survive ultimately able to forgive and celebrate the years as a blessing in bondage surrendered to Love. Yes, Joseph was a God-fearing man who placed God’s Love over envy, lust and pride proving blood is thicker than water by giving back without cost.

This is a feeling of fulfillment being the giver as well as taker in life’s living rooms of tears from joy given as well as received. We continue to celebrate the life’s created in the blood and water around us as a family of believers in God’s faith, hope and love experiencing charity of Christ’s degree. I felt it in the hands of a Mimi who represents all Grannies’ in desired love and affection encouraging dialogue over distance and conversation over casualty.

Her tears washed our hearts with Truth so prevalent in our thoughts we spoke without speaking hand-and-hand to just pray and smile in tears of Truth. Thoughts so personal yet so beautiful I lost my breath. As I looked at her three grandchildren playing nearby, I thought of God’s Smile stretching across the sky in two rainbows of colors doubled I had witnessed that day in a drive as the Holy Spirit soothed the hands of time by love we can’t deny. “Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give.” Amen.

Survival in the wallows of a small town by Pity’s Love.

Jesus went around to all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom, and curing every disease and illness. At the sight of the crowds, His heart was moved with pity for them because they were troubled and abandoned, like sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:35-36

Genesis 32:23-33, Psalm 17 & Matthew 9:32-38

Deep in the heart of every person is this special desire to make people feel the wonder you experience by Christ’s constant love. It moves your heart to pity them carrying them daily in prayer noticing them more displayed in an abandoned state of confusion. I watched a homeless hard-lived couple yesterday that I’ve known for some time wonder back-and-forth in front a small plaza asking for money being turned down nine-out-of-ten-times. My heart felt pity for them as I knew their story stopping as I left to hand her a blessing bag praying aloud a “God Bless You.” They know survival in the wallows of a small town hiding here and there to chase their tale once again.

The effects are devastating both boney not skinny as you might imagine wondering how they can live for so long doing the same thing over-and-over again. Jesus never gave up on these type of people who punish themselves in constant addictive patterns unable to speak Truth denying right to live in wrong unwilling to make a change. Jesus won’t tire asking us to never grow weary of serving the lost in His Name forgiving without judgment loving without thoughts of financial gain. No doubt my homeless couple is sleeping behind a dumpster this morning as I continue to pray for their curing of every disease and illness steadfast as Christ teaches to proclaim the Kingdom living Charity’s Love. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to live pity loving the needy without judgment’s Light. Novena prayers day two for my brother-in-law Johnny. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 43:3a, I chant- “Send your Light and your fidelity, that they may be my guide.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Few are the laborers for the abundant harvest needs– Matthew 9:32-38

Brought a freak so to speak
Silent demoniac Truth to seek
Driven out demon allowed to shriek
He spoke of love living the meek

Ugliness comes from a Pharisee
Unable to see the Light
Darkness prevailed around them
Not knowing Jesus had the right

Prince of devils forces devils out
The Pharisee began to shout
Towns and villages Jesus began to scout
Kingdom Gospel proclaiming the route

Disease and illness cured by peace
The only Prince known to release
The sins of addiction your final disease
Jesus is always truly willing to appease

Crowds brought pity His feeling to see
Abandoned or troubled He’ll cure your disease
So many sheep with no shepherd to cease
Few are the laborers for the abundant harvest needs

He was afraid and said: “How awesome this place is! This is nothing else but the House of God, the gateway to Heaven!” Genesis 28:17

Wigs Word of God Today 7-8-2013

The gateway to Heaven.

He was afraid and said: “How awesome this place is! This is nothing else but the House of God, the gateway to Heaven!” Genesis 28:17

You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shade of the Almighty, Say to the LORD, “My refuge and fortress, my God in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:1-2

She said to herself, “If only I can touch His cloak, I shall be cured.” Jesus turned around and saw her, and said, “Courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you.” And from that hour the woman was cured. Matthew 9:21-22

Genesis 28:10-22, Psalm 91 & Matthew 9:18-26

To seek the refuge of God takes the love of living in Truth abiding in prayer to practice what we live in reading, hearing, listening and acting on the Word of God. You only begin to question your faith when you steer off course choosing not to practice honing your skills of faith, hope and love by the charity God’s Word provides. We seem to kill our ability to identify with the Living Words of God for we place detours around the stories that began the humanity we are a product of today. Two brothers growing wanting equal billing with dad while mom creates distraction seems a bit out of the sort but jealousy, insecurities and pride are just as much prevalent today as it was in the days of our beginning.

We see the same stairwell in our dreams of heaven knowing with humble grace the God of all controls the world’s Salvation by His Son who we seek shelter in every moment of every day. As Jacob, we too will find “the gateway to Heaven” by acting with humility, honor and historic reverence of breathing God’s Word. Take a breath with me now, breathe in deep seeing Him around you beating in your heart His Spirit smiling in the breath bouncing off the objects around you. Here, we find courage allowing us too to be saved from anything we’ll allow our desires to corral or let run in the open gates of sin’s frolic. Breathe in the Word of God every moment of your life to find stoic shelter by the courage He builds by His Divine Will. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray to climb our stairwell to heaven by our courage we live in Your Truth. Novena prayers day one for my brother-in-law Johnny. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has our constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 110:3-4, I chant- “Yours is Princely Power from the day of Your birth. In Holy Splendor before the Daystar, like dew I begot You. The LORD has sworn and will not waver: “You are a Priest forever in the manner of Melchizedek.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

The girl would arise as the news forever grew– Matthew 9:18-26

Approached Him kneeling to say
Please come and agreeably relay
Your Power to overcome and save
My daughter who has died today

If only Your Hand would rest
Upon her lifeless chest
She will live this test
I humbly request we beset

This official led without knowledge
Of Jesus who would swallow
The hemorrhage so hallow
Suffering woman forever followed

Twelve years of pain
Left her to gain
Life by courage sane
Saved by faith in same

Officials House was a dancing crowd
Flute players mourning way too loud
The commotion was way too down
Away you go she’s sleeping without a sound

Laughing at His words they heeded not His Truth
He put them out without incidence to coup
Taking her by the hand His Miracle would prove
The girl would arise as the news forever grew
