God allowed us to see this person of spite become God’s messenger of splendor.

A light from the sky suddenly flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” He said, “Who are You, sir?” The reply came, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. Acts 9:3c-5

For My Flesh is True Food, and My Blood is True Drink. Whoever eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood remains in Me and I in him. John 6:55-56

Acts 9:1-20, Psalm 117 & John 6:52-59

We all share in the feeling of persecution allowing us yet but a glimpse of what the beginning church must have felt like. These men and women were afraid for their lives being sought like animals for living a life of Truth. They hid from practicing their communion with Christ just as many Catholics today hide from acknowledging the True Presence when the love of God’s Word leads all universally to the transubstantiation of the bread and wine to God’s True Presence during the collection of God’s children forming the bound where we become in complete communion with Jesus Christ. It was a bound a young ravenous persecutor of people like you and me would soon undertake in a transformation that can take place in any person alive.

God allowed us to see this person of spite become God’s messenger of splendor so anyone throughout history would see even these type of people can change. Saul became Paul that day becoming blind causing fasting indulged in prayer for his life accepting Christ being baptized washing him clean in his profession of faith in Christ Jesus. He began to celebrate what he confined in his selfish acts through practice literally writing the Word of God by the Holy Spirit around him. His life became a life of prayer remaining in Christ through constant communion by a life of sharing Christ’s Salvation. Here, we follow Paul living in God’s Word proclaiming the love of forgiveness by faith, hope and love of charity’s Truth. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to live in the Light that changed a liar to a Friar loving Your Son’s Truth. Praying for the soul of David Generozzo who has given me many smiles, many short phone calls, many Sundays in Denny’s after church loving pancakes and whip cream and vanilla shakes. He shared with me silently a dear spirit of dignity I’ll always remember with love. He died suddenly Wednesday after a short illness at the age of 50. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 149:9 I chant- “To execute the judgments decreed for them— such is the glory of all God’s faithful. Hallelujah!” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Teaching to instill a conscious decision to serve God’s Kingdom.

Then the angel of the LORD spoke to Philip, “Get up and head south on the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza, the desert route.” Acts 8:26

No one can come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me draw him, and I will raise him on the last day. John 6:44

Acts 8:26-40, Psalm 66 & John 6:44-51

We find the beauty of instruction today teaching an unknown person the love of God’s Son where Phillip is asked by “the angel of the LORD” to “Get up and head south on the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza, the desert route.” If you’ve ever wondered what a spiritual director does, they guide you to act on God’s Word aligning with Christ’s Redemptive Power to heal all wounds, worries and wasted worship of selfish idols as Phillip did the Ethiopian causing him to act on God’s Word.

Here, we find the Truth by teaching to instill a conscious decision to serve God’s Kingdom with faith, hope and love of charity by going to Christ in an intentional act of surrender. Phillip’s instruction took the Ethiopian to baptize himself as they journeyed after being taught Christ’s Redemption causing him to never be the same again. We all have felt this drawing Power of love in Christ asking us to do more instead by taking less living with less but finding more when embracing Eternal Life.

Slowly but surely God will stop you from going back and forth from sin to saint enveloping your soul to make helpless the sin of flesh, fornication and frustration ridding Satan’s evil desires replacing them with practice, prayer and preaching of Christ’s Redemptive Truth. For Jesus said, “I will raise him on the last day” who obeys His Father’s Will to live in harmony of Love’s Truth. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to live as we are taught sharing Christ’s Redemption as Truth. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 1:1-2 I chant-” Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in company with scoffers. Rather, the Law of the LORD is his joy; and on his Law he meditates day and night.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

We can become sore losers by choice because we lost the past without knowledge.

Now those who had been scattered went about preaching the Word. Acts 8:4

I came down from heaven not to do My own Will but the Will of the One Who sent Me. John 6:38

Acts 8:1-8, Psalm 66 & John 6:35-40

In the midst of confusion and persecution we must continue to preach the Word to those around us be it our daily “shop” people where we make a living or the new ones we encounter in our lines of luxury when eating or shopping but we must remember to keep our family in the Word by a commitment to practice what we preach. I look back on my life and I see with such clarity seemingly better than 20/20 encountering hindsight as if it were under a microscope pushing me to the constant joys I feel living surrendered to the Gospel of Christ Jesus. It’s more than just “that was then this is now” kind of feeling- saved by grace confessing Jesus is LORD and Savior.

Under a microscope I see the mistakes understanding the disgust my family endured around me refusing to mourn any longer proudly displaying my love of God. My mom with her honorable and truthful ways garnered endless love in the midst of ugliness and excess of an alcoholic father who lavished insult, injury and incompetence to celebrate God when his god had become money, gambling and alcohol lost in the excess of evil’s flesh. Sometimes we cry out why forgiveness can’t be celebrated as much as pride receiving displayed persecution that hurts beyond words.

Here, we must continue our love of living for His Word obedient to the Father’s Will in thought, action and deed. We can become sore losers by choice because we lost the past without knowledge or we can embrace the Will of God as the Heaven we live on earth in faith smothered in hope pleasured by preaching the Word. We must in the midst of our scattered running from lust seek the Truth and levitate to the longings of Christ’s Salvation by practice, prayer and preaching. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to preach the Word no matter the cost. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has constant prayers. LORD from Psalm 150:6 I chant-”Let everything that has breath give praise to the LORD! Hallelujah!” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

The love of life living lustered in Christ’s libations of generosity’s genuine goodwill. As they were stoning Stephen, he called out, “LORD Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he fell to his knees and cried out in a loud voice, “LORD, do not hold this sin against them”; and when he said this, he fell asleep. Acts 7:59-60

Jesus said to them, “I am the Bread of Life; whoever comes to Me will never hunger, and whoever believes in Me will never thirst. But I told you that although you have seen [Me], you do not believe. John 6:35-36

Acts 7:51–8:1, Psalm 31 & John 6:30-35

Believe it or not our lives are being persecuted by the selfishness and sin society is lapping up around us just as Stephen announced to the leaders of his day recalling the prophet’s persecution and denial off the angelic messengers brought forth by God Himself. “Which of the prophets did your ancestors not persecute? They put to death those who foretold the coming of the Righteous One, whose betrayers and murderers you have now become. You received the law as transmitted by angels, but you did not observe it.”

God is asking us today to continue our battle of good and evil by the love we place in every hidden and visible area of our lives opening the only bread box where Eternal Life is offered to those who live by His Truth in faith, hope and love of charity relishing the Bread of Life ceasing the hunger pains of sin. The beauty of our belief allows no retaliation, retribution or revenge awakening the love all sinners can’t deny because we live our lives in faith hunger will be smothered by charities joy. The love of life living lustered in Christ’s libations of generosity’s genuine goodwill. Amen.

They could not withstand the wisdom and the spirit with which he spoke. Acts 6:10

We hope to live by Christ’s wisdom to fulfill the Father’s Will.

They could not withstand the wisdom and the spirit with which he spoke. Acts 6:10

Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endures for Eternal Life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on Him the Father, God, has set His Seal. John 6:27

Acts 6:8-15, Psalm 119 & John 6:22-29

There is a beautiful dance that occurs when the wisdom and Spirit of God rests upon you from the complete surrender we live in Christ Jesus. There becomes an absence of fear that rests upon your shoulders causing you to walk in righteousness of God’s Truth. By now in your walk with our LORD and Savior you’ve become one with Him in faithful practice of reading your Bible daily enduring prayer as second nature upon any ordeal allowing God’s Word to churn in your veins proclaiming God’s Truth in tears, torment or tornadoes swirling havoc as life perishes around you while His testimony “endures for eternal life.”

God created life in beauty around you that includes the relationships we build in the animals of our life. You see the person’s smile in the eyes of love that lick or purr their love upon you guided by the joy you placed to take care of their every need. There is a wisdom we gain of life when we hold our dying companion in all kinds of animals who live on in the aftermath of God’s Divine Will. There is a wisdom of Truth not desperate that knows when to let go and let God as much as the Spirit mourning in the drops of tears when they die and we must say goodbye.

My mother made such decisions Saturday as her 10-year-old cat Missy had a stroke and became paralyzed calling to report her misery and pain. Donning my “I Love Jesus- Follow ME I’ll Make You Fishers of Men” t-shirt we soon took her meowing aching body to a trusted vet to inject by wisdom the time to say goodbye. Holding her I cried a bit as my mother sobbed aloud listening to the meows of desperation through the hisses of agony. I prayed silently for the love of Christ to lessen my mother’s heartache kissing the prettiest cat I’ve ever known goodbye repeatedly holding her head in my hands stroking her beautiful fur. Thank you LORD for the love this cat gave my mom and our whole family. We hope to live by Christ’s wisdom to fulfill the Father’s Will. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today we live in Your Son’s wisdom by faith, hope and love. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has constant prayers. Day nine of a Novena for Russ Thoms and his daughter Serenity. LORD from Psalm 108:2 I chant-”My heart is steadfast, God; my heart is steadfast. Let me sing and chant praise.” In Jesus Name we pray. He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was distressed that He had said to him a third time, “Do you love me?” and he said to Him, “LORD, You know everything; You know that I love You.” [Jesus] said to him, “Feed My sheep. Follow Me.” John 21:17, 19d

Jesus simply asks, Will you “Follow Me?” No matter the cost?

So they left the presence of the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they had been found worthy to suffer dishonor for the sake of the Name. Acts 5:41

They cried out in a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches, wisdom and strength, honor and glory and blessing.” Revelation 5:12

When they climbed out on shore, they saw a charcoal fire with fish on it and bread. Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you just caught.” So Simon Peter went over and dragged the net ashore full of one hundred fifty-three large fish. Even though there were so many, the net was not torn. John 21:9-11

Acts 5:27-32, 40-41, Psalm 30, Revelation 5:11-14 & John 21:1-19

There will come a time if it hasn’t happened already that you too will “suffer dishonor for the sake of the Name.” “Rejoicing” you will find the “test” uplifting bringing you to the mountaintop crying out as the angels did at the top of your lungs, “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches, wisdom and strength, honor and glory and blessing.” The dishonor expresses the ignorance lived by people who shun you or attack you all because we express Salvation in our obedience to Jesus Christ.

The Apostles were flogged for speaking the Truth just as you are today for speaking Christ in government run arenas such as schools, courtrooms and government entities slowly stealing your desire to surrender completely. There is a silent yet loud secular voice preparing the flogging of mankind in ways that will purposely drive our families to accepting promiscuity, excess and greed as the behavior of norm somehow announcing for them it’s Ok to be a liar, cheat and a thief.

We are being asked to join the bar-b-que of society seeking to catch all species of fish as depicted by the number 153 “large” fish the Disciples caught when asked by Jesus to cast their net for Him. We may be flogged or disrespected but we must rejoice of being “found worthy to suffer dishonor for the sake of the Name.” Jesus knows along the way we could be swayed by evil’s enticing lust but He allows us as He did Peter to reaffirm our love not once or twice but three times engaging our fear with peace, persistence and purpose. The net of Christ’s love has no boundaries or species prejudice surviving every threat or temptation by living His Word in faith, hope and love for charity. Jesus simply asks, Will you “Follow Me?” No matter the cost? Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today we are always willing to suffer dishonor for the sake of Christ’s Name. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has constant prayers. Day eight of a Novena for Russ Thoms and his daughter Serenity. LORD from Psalm 135:3 I chant: ”Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good! Sing to His Name, for it brings joy!” In Jesus Name we pray. Deacon: Life of practice, prayer and preaching indulged in a communion with God.

They presented these men to the Apostles who prayed and laid hands on them. Acts 6:6

When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they began to be afraid. But He said to them, “It is I. Do not be afraid.” John 6:19-20

Acts 6:1-7, Psalm 33 & John 6:16-21

I’ve watched a man or two come full circle in their surrender to living God’s Truth becoming a Deacon helping the church to fulfill its mission on earth. They each have lived a special gift or desire to accomplish for God such as serving the poor, feeding the hungry or caring for the sick. They live a life of obedience to practice, prayer and preaching reaching into the depths of communities by the Bible they relish surrendered to the constant prayer God calls us all to proclaiming the Truth every step they take.

Ordained as intended constant witnesses not by the collar they place around their neck but by the predestined submission to living as Christ in charity. Here, in this place we find them unafraid seemingly walking on water alongside Jesus by their life conceded to His love. This courage comes from daily practice of reading your Bible with an open heart not so much learning to recite parables as much as to undertake each example of lessons learned in Scripture normalizing your life with the Commands God places on our heart to melt throughout our soul.

This should lead all of us to a life of prayer indulged in a communion with God relishing every thought as the love we embrace in communicating with our Creator. Oh, the Our Father comes to mind but as importantly the desire to tell God how you really feel about His love, His Son and His Salvation constantly in thanksgiving by the smile your prayer brings to your life displayed upon your lips. People are drawn to it and you openly proclaim it with zealous fervor submitting to preaching by words your action creates for His Truth. Amen.

Without God there will always be destruction of anything human.

Acts 5:34-42, Psalm 27 & John 6:1-15

We often look to someone with authority to persuade our minds into motion accomplishing purpose over passion. We may look upon others in government or entertainment to fancy our brow or we may become excited from the family member in our life that is so righteous in the LORD we look upon them with admiration and desire to follow in their footsteps.

The Sanhedrin began their inquiry with the intent to rid them of what they deemed as peasants speaking of and following a person “claiming to be someone important.” Their minds were persuaded by someone “respected by all the people” to act with purpose over passion looking upon this as others who had tried but “died” after a short following sharing the same result will happen to these men speaking of Jesus and performing signs in His Name if it is NOT of God.

A Pharisee in the Sanhedrin named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law” reasoned by authority but as importantly audacity of placing God’s Will first in describing the persuaded purpose. He said, “So now I tell you, have nothing to do with these men, and let them go. For if this endeavor or this activity is of human origin, it will destroy itself. But if it comes from God, you will not be able to destroy them; you may even find yourselves fighting against God.” Acts 5:38-39a

What we learn and passionately follow over 2000 thousand years later is the death they inflicted upon a man cleansed the sins of the world Resurrected not dead as all the others had obviously become. Without God there will always be destruction of anything human but in God we find His Son Who came to the world to rectify sin lifting up humanity to know Truth living in faith, hope and love of charity.

Here, we become conscious of the people in our lives who follow the Truth lifting us up in prayer persuading us to know Christ’s forgiveness. There will always be people who we love and respect with all our heart who pass along the Truth of Christ amidst the suffering of pains, predicaments and problems that end their life amidst the continued  celebration of Christ’s Salvation. We can’t seem to understand why someone of such respect would have to undergo the devastation of accident or disease. Today, two of my children will lay to rest the soul of their grandmother from their mother’s side who has lived with such obedience. She was such an amazing influence upon our children throughout their life living by Christ’s Truth praying for peace over perversion. We pray for her soul to be united with You my LORD and my God and we thank You Jesus for her life lived in the Truth of Your Gospel. Amen.

He guides me along right paths for the sake of His Name. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and your staff comfort me.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Whoever believes in the Son has Eternal Life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him. John 3:36

Wigs Word of God Today 4-11-2013

Obedience to God not men in studying His Truth.

Peter and the apostles said in reply, “We must obey God rather than men.” Acts 5:29

Whoever believes in the Son has Eternal Life, but whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon him. John 3:36

Acts 5:27-33, Psalm 34 & John 3:31-36

When we learn to “obey God rather than men,” we exercise our morals to accomplish God’s Will. We learn to forgive as much as we learn to educate the people in our lives of God’s Eternal Salvation in Christ Jesus. Obeying the Truth becomes second nature as we learn to understand educating those around us known and unknown is the Walk we take in Christ’s Gospel sharing the strength we gain by living God’s Word with faith, hope and love of charity helping others who are confused, lonely, sick or dying with the presence of Christ’s Spirit. We become even better friends with a community of believers who instill morals of faith living in hope God’s love will save the world. We are hopeful our surrender to His Truth excludes the wrath God will wage upon the ones who “disobeys” by actively sharing His Word in thoughts, actions and deeds.

You’ll begin to discover those around you are living a life of Christ through every means possible asking to share in the obedience to studying His Truth. I came across such a man yesterday who I have watched grow unknowingly in the LORD by the smile and brightness of his eyes shining the love of Christ’s Salvation. He shares a Scripture verse with his friends daily by electronic means from his phone adding just a little extra to the surrender he and his friends embrace in God’s Truth. I see him obeying God rather than men sharing Christ’s Salvation as the joy God placed in his heart. He commented to me how he has been praying with his children as my heart overflowed with joy. You’ve felt it- the kind of joy that makes you cry tears of cleanliness not sadness of dirtiness filled with God’s righteousness of Truth obeying God. I welcome Mark today to our study of His Word. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to obey You rather than men. Praying for David’s recovery. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has constant prayers. Day five of a Novena for Russ Thoms and his daughter Serenity. LORD from Psalm 30:6 I chant: ”For His anger lasts but a moment; His favor a lifetime. At dusk weeping comes for the night; but at dawn there is rejoicing.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I am yours in Christ,

Let us know our self

Dynamic love of rest

Peace of self to nest

Your soul on God’s shelf

Happy or sad we bruise

Know who you are to muse

Good void of falseness proof

Inside your soul He knows

Life under a fig tree shows

How He knows your peace flows

Weakness and strength He grows

Humble yourself to earth

Receptive and openness worth

Your heart and soul to work

Your special gift His flirt

And this is the verdict, that the Light came into the world, but people preferred darkness to Light, because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the Light and does not come toward the Light, so that his works might not be exposed. But whoever lives the Truth comes to the Light, so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God. John 3:19-21

Advantages of allowing the Light to illuminate the very existence to your soul.

Then the high priest rose up and all his companions, that is, the party of the Sadducees, and, filled with jealousy, laid hands upon the apostles and put them in the public jail. But during the night, the angel of the Lord opened the doors of the prison, led them out, and said, “Go and take your place in the temple area, and tell the people everything about this life.” Acts 5:17-20

Acts 5:1-26, Psalm 34 & John 3:16-21

Take the time today and read Chapter Five of Acts and listen to the story of Ananias and Sapphira who experience God’s Will in the midst of the questioning by Peter who knew Ananias had kept a portion of his profits from the sale of his land before laying it at the feet of the Apostles as others had been doing. He asked, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart so that you lied to the Holy Spirit and retained part of the price of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain yours? And when it was sold, was it not still under your control? Why did you contrive this deed? You have lied not to human beings, but to God.” Acts 5:5-4

Here, we find the Spirit of God removing its last breath for the deed unfinished plaguing the soul making Ananias literally “scared to death.” Peter described the lie that comes upon us when we know what we are doing will make us “scared to death” because we lie to ourselves stealing away the life God has intended for you in Truth. You can feel it just as Ananias did when you go to fast to soon speaking falsely too fast too late or holding the gas pedal down too far too long. The reality of death will come upon you in an instant afflicting your body with torment as muscles twitch, faces become red or the stomach rumbles seething the lie we place upon our existence.

Jesus is asking us today to come to the Light and allow His Truth to be seen as the faith, hope and love of charity fills your heart with action, acceptance and advantages of allowing the Light to illuminate the very existence to your soul. You can feel it in the breath the Holy Spirit lifts you to as the water of your own body washes you clean from the eyes that people see the Christ in you. Allow them to be drawn to you in the action you accept to find God’s advantage living the Word of God for peace. Don’t become scared to death living in the dark but grow in the Light of Truth. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to always live in the Light of Jesus. Thank You LORD for prayers answered. Praying for David’s skin graft surgery today. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop has constant prayers. Day four of a Novena for Russ Thoms and his daughter Serenity. LORD from Psalm 83:19 I chant: ”Let them know that your name is LORD, You alone are the Most High over all the earth.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I am yours in Christ,
