Do you lust day-after-day in spiritual nothingness? “I will follow you, LORD, but first let me say farewell to my family at home. [To him] Jesus said, “No one who sets a hand to the plow and looks to what was left behind is fit for the Kingdom of God.” Luke 9:61-62

Wig’s Word of God Today 10-3-2012

Do you lust day-after-day in spiritual nothingness?

I will follow you, LORD, but first let me say farewell to my family at home. [To him] Jesus said, “No one who sets a hand to the plow and looks to what was left behind is fit for the Kingdom of God.” Luke 9:61-62

Job 9:1-12, 14-16, Psalm 88 & Luke 9:57-62

Jesus explains to us today that being a Disciple is a tough job that requires denial of even family and friends to live for the Glory of God Himself. We cannot be distracted by day-to-day musings to live in a total surrender to God’s Purpose for our lives. We all know how difficult this can be but as Jesus reminds us, “No one who sets a hand to the plow and looks to what was left behind is fit for the Kingdom of God.” I think it’s obvious that claiming Christ as your LORD and Savior eliminates the need to look back at the life you led prior to finding the Truth in your life.

You begin to see and live spiritually allowing people to be drawn to you instilling in them the Salvation Christ offers the world by His Death on a Cross. A Cross you must pick up and display proudly as a banner of Truth. People will be afraid of Christ’s Cross parting families, friends and coworkers aligning with the statement, “Let the dead bury the dead.” When you look back at a life of selfishness and sin, you will see the spiritually dead burying the ones like them who do not follow the Truth of Christ in their heart. They are worried they’ll miss out on something they lust for day-after-day in spiritual nothingness. Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today to look forward as true Disciples not looking over our shoulder in want or despair. I pray for a Happy Birthday to my daughter Dr. Alexandra Maria Wiggins Stern. LORD, we pray today for sick and dying. We pray for our friends and enemies. We pray people choose You over stature or sin. We pray for strength, patience and health to fast in Your Will LORD. Give us Your strong arm of love forever. Jesus Christ is Risen! We pray in His Precious Name indeed. Amen.

Looking back voids your Kingdom turn– Luke 9:57-62

Jesus heard a man say

I’ll follow you each day

Foxes have dens to pray

Son of Man has nowhere to lay

Jesus said follow Me

First I have to bury my family

Let the dead bury the dead mindfully

For the spiritually dead is wastefully

Proclaim the Kingdom of God to tell

As one yells out I must say farewell

The plow of surrender can’t be returned

Looking back voids your Kingdom turn

Allegiance to God’s Will by a child’s subconscious of Truth. “See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my Heavenly Father.” Matthew 18:10

Wig’s Word of God Today 10-2-2012

Allegiance to God’s Will by a child’s subconscious of Truth

See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my Heavenly Father. Matthew 18:10

Job 3:1-3, 11-17, 20-23, Psalm 17 & Matthew 18:1-5, 10

The Jewish belief held firm that angels were the protectors and guardians of nations as well as individuals who present themselves as intercessors taking the prayers of human beings personally to God. Matthew indicates Christ’s love of each child as the high worth God indicates children should receive by the representation of the angels for little ones before God.

These heavenly beings are truly the protectors of God’s most purposeful desire to see the children celebrated as angles themselves walking a walk lifted up by God Himself. I see this angelic quality in each child I meet knowing there is such an allegiance to God’s Will that isn’t even spoken yet revered by a child’s subconscious of Truth. Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today to treat each child as an angel in Your presence. Amen.

My Father’s face to agree

The angels who watch over Me

A child of heart from lessons to be

Can you praise God in the midst of havoc? “The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the Name of the LORD! In all this Job did not sin, nor did he charge God with wrong.” Job 1:21b-22

Wig’s Word of God Today 10-1-2012

Can you praise God in the midst of havoc?

The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the Name of the LORD! In all this Job did not sin, nor did he charge God with wrong. Job 1:21b-22

Job 1:6-22, Psalm 17 & Luke 9:46-50

When we can truly state in the midst of turmoil, famine and distress that God is great all the time, then we can align our heart’s desire with the Will of God in thought, action and deed. If we’d only stop asking God for what we want and instead align with what He wants, then we’d see His graces beyond the natural grasps of our surroundings. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying lay down in the midst of distress and not fight back. On the contrary, we should stand up for what is Godly in all aspects of trusting His guidance, gifts and guarantee to find His Promise in the middle of protecting our own interests.

The same interest we all fight for such as the Foundation of Religious Liberty our great country was built upon. The same interest we all fight for such as the Truth God’s Word depicts as life-giving between a man and a woman in marriage as one in the LORD. Moreover, the foundational aspect of God’s Word that has laid every cornerstone of justice in the United States and across the world. Job lived for God’s Truth even to the point of losing his family and livelihood because he not once cursed God for his troubles. He did the opposite; he blessed God in praise and worked hard to reestablish the bond and unity he swore in allegiance with God’s Divine Plan for his life. For “in all this Job did not sin, nor did he charge God with wrong.” Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today to live our lives for You even in the midst of tragedy. LORD, we pray today for sick and dying. We pray for our friends and enemies. We pray people choose You over stature or sin. We pray for strength, patience and health to fast in Your Will LORD. Give us Your strong arm of love forever. Jesus Christ is Risen! Never sinning in ugliness and hate– Job 1:6-22

God asked His Angel Satan

If he noticed His servant Job

Yes he is respectful

To every desire Your Word intones

He is blameless and upright

Avoiding evil and sin

He has every great blessing

Living his life for You to win

Satan replied he will blaspheme

In your face if you destroy him

Touching his things to despair

Spitting in Your face without a care

God agreed Satan may destroy his possessions

But do not lay a hand on his person

Satan began a wrath Job was unable to control

He held his hands high praising God to show

His love of God through all obstacles

Nothing Satan did destroyed Job’s faith

Not being disrespectful to God

Never sinning in ugliness and hate

Let us not be jealous of one another’s gift God gives but prophesize His Spirit of Everlasting Life. “Are you jealous for my sake? If only all the people of the LORD were prophets! If only the LORD would bestow His Spirit on them all!” Numbers 11:29

Wig’s Word of God Today 9-30-2012

Let us not be jealous of one another’s gift God gives but prophesize His Spirit of Everlasting Life

Are you jealous for my sake? If only all the people of the LORD were prophets! If only the LORD would bestow His Spirit on them all! Numbers 11:29

You have condemned; you have murdered the righteous one; he offers you no resistance. James 5:6

Jesus replied, “Do not prevent him. There is no one who performs a mighty deed in My Name who can at the same time speak ill of Me.” Mark 9:39

Numbers 11:25-29, Psalm 19, James 5:1-6 & Mark 9:38-43, 45, 47-48

We enter into day four of our 40-day fast six pounds lighter scratching and clawing my way through celebration and commitment. We celebrated this past week as our Miracle Child Julian went back to work. Yes, back to work at the same location he left Friday June 29th before knowing death and resurrection in the same day. I know the doubters will say modern medicine brought him back but in our prayerful emotions, energy and escape we call out to the LORD in all things seeing His Will though to the end. We thank God for the prayers of Julian’s recovery knowing each “mighty deed” of invocation prophesied a walking healthy Julian today. Thank you.

If only the LORD would bestow His Spirit on them all.” I wonder what life would be like to find people everywhere speaking God’s Truth. If only. If only we’d realize in our breath to seek out the lost as Christ commanded not worrying about the walk, the worry and the wonder of lifting a child into the arms of God. The walk will cause your legs to ache and your back to stiffen but the pain offered up to God will be a glorious pain of redemption. The worry may seem burdensome at first but the apprehension will slip away as spilled milk in a galaxy of Truth avoiding anxiety in each step of recovery.

The wonder is really the driving ignition of self-control as you seek the soul spellbound by Satan’s feeling of excess substantiation encouraged by you to find the Resurrection Promised in His Truth. We should always realize every person alive is a “Child of God” including each body and soul walking around you today whether sinner or righteous saint or thief resistant to nothing you can say to share Christ’s Good News. Let us not be jealous of one another’s gift God gives but commit to sharing His Spirit of Everlasting Life to anyone, anytime and anywhere in our walk, worry and wonder of God’s Will. Let us offer no resistance for we live in His Protected mercy and grace. Amen.

Let us pray: Dear Father, we pray today to walk, worry and wonder of the Mighty Deeds Your offers to the world. Amen.

Driving out Demons by God’s Son lacks damnation– Mark 9:38-48

The Truth Teacher was told

Some drive out demons of old

From the wretched and sinned

Not following our men who begin

A replying Jesus would not deny him

A place to share His Truth to win

A mighty deed in My Name

A ill spoken of Me as the same

Against us is not the one who did speak

He seeks the lost and confused that reek

Offers water because the Kingdom is for the meek

Not losing his reward but a banner to oblique

A little one he rests for Me to begin

Will have hell to pay if they cause them to sin

A great stone tethered to your neck to begin

A restful stop at the bottom of a sea of fire wren

Cut off the hand and feet in sin’s fornication

Pluck the eye if the desire to pleasure your oblation

The worm will live in a fire of unquenchable sensation

Driving out Demons by God’s Son lacks damnation

Experiencing the Splendor of God’s Redemption eliminating disloyalty, dishonesty and duplicity. “He received Dominion, Splendor, and Kingship; all nations, peoples and tongues will serve Him. Daniel 7:14 There is no duplicity in him. John 1:47c

Experiencing the Splendor of God’s Redemption eliminating disloyalty, dishonesty and duplicity.

He received Dominion, Splendor, and Kingship; all nations, peoples and tongues will serve Him. His Dominion is an Everlasting Dominion that shall not pass away, His Kingship, one that shall not be destroyed. Daniel 7:14

There is no duplicity in him. John 1:47c

Daniel 7:9-10, 13-14, Psalm 138 & John 1:47-51

I know many of you identify with the Splendor of Jesus Christ that “shall not be destroyed” in your soul ever intentionally only living to experience the feeling over-n-over again and again prayerfully to infinity (∞). We’ve learned to chase our tail in the greatest of Way seeking only the Splendor of Christ’s Everlasting Dominion. Without duplicity. Without precaution. Without doubt.

As Nathaniel approached Jesus, Jesus looked upon him as an openly devout man of faith not demonstrating outward deceptiveness but a genuine heart. We all feel this feeling in our own hearts wanting to be loved by Christ as much as He loved Nathaniel. We must live our lives as loved in equality by God knowing His Son’s life gave us freedom from duplicity. Freedom from guilt.  A Written Honor to hold high above our heads as the banner of faith, hope and love.

Are we acting in bad faith as we live our lives in double standards embracing the Hug of Christ as we tether our self-seeking desires to Satan’s spiked tail of deception? I know, I have a hard time believing God-fearing men and women choose friendships and stature over correct decisions based on God’s Holy Word. One of my dear friends in Christ described it as loving the sinner but hating the sin. Removing the guilt and seeking Truth void of living in duplicity.

I agree with his thoughts that we have to bring them back to the holiness and splendor they feel by living in Truth of God’s Word. We pray for them and encourage them in the LORD not smile in the face of deception cohabitating in the spirit of guilt. We must acknowledge this err in living discussing ways to open the hearts of the lost and confused by steadfast commitment of prayer and teaching. Send the message of Truth nonwavering in thought, action and deed experiencing the Splendor of God’s Redemption over-n-over again eliminating disloyalty, dishonesty and duplicity. Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today to live our lives in Your Splendor seeking a genuine caring heart. LORD, we pray today for sick and dying. We pray for our friends and enemies. We pray people choose You over stature or sin. We pray for strength, patience and health to fast in Your Will LORD. Give us Your strong arm of love forever. Jesus Christ is Risen! Enduring forever what He allows us to revere to create life. “I recognized that whatever God does will endure forever; there is no adding to it, or taking from it. Thus has God done that He may be revered.” Ecclesiastes 3:14

Wig’s Word of God Today 9-28-2012

Enduring forever what He allows us to revere to create life.

I recognized that whatever God does will endure forever; there is no adding to it, or taking from it. Thus has God done that He may be revered. Ecclesiastes 3:14

Ecclesiastes 3:1-14, Psalm 144 & Luke 9:18-22

There is an appointed time under the sun for everything God has created and instilled in humanity that we can try to avoid but cannot separate ourselves from. “A time to give birth, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant.  A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to tear down, and a time to build. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.” Ecclesiastes 3:2-4

God has made everything appropriate to its time, but has put the timeless into their hearts so they cannot find out, from beginning to end, the work which God has done.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 I find it interesting that in the name of science people can try and explain the creation of the universe by some sort of “Big Bang Theory” but fail to state a reason how everything was created from the very beginning of time.

The time is now to believe the Truth God has instilled in our hearts to reestablish a foundation of Truth instilled by the Everlasting Word of God in our United States of America. We must get rid of the people who have been in positions of authority too long who have faltered in keeping God’s Commands trying to add to God’s Truth by selfish desires what He created for life not fornication enduring forever what He allows us to revere to create life. Amen.

Let us pray: Dear God of All, we pray to Trust Your Word to Endure Forever. We pray fervently for Richard Goethel‏. LORD, please guide us to be tolerant and prayerful for the conversion of anyone not knowing Your Word. We are thankful LORD in practice, prayer and preaching. Jesus Christ is Risen! Heaven’s not open to people who ignore– Ecclesiastes 3:1-14

Everything has its Divine

Appointed by the Author of time

Heavens and earth are His confine

Born and to die by His Divine

Plant to one day uproot

Kill or heal by a shoot

Build yet tear down resolute

To weep and laugh by His loot

We will dance in birth

Yet cry when put them in dirt

Scatter stones from the hurt

Gather their comfort in flirt

We will seek the embrace

While wanting to embrace to taste

Seek in a desired haste

What is lost in waste

And many things we think to keep

As they cast away in the deep

What we rendered while we sleep

The things we sow by effort we steep

Here we find silence to know

With appointed time to grow

Speaking the truth of love to sow

Hating the lies people know

Some created war

Peace is wanted more

Toil in vain by the door

Heaven’s not open to people who ignore

Wisdom of heart is gained by living in Truth not living in denial of His Truth. “Teach us to count our days aright, that we may gain wisdom of heart.” Psalm 90:12

Wig’s Word of God Today 9-27-2012

Wisdom of heart is gained by living in Truth not living in denial of His Truth

Teach us to count our days aright, that we may gain wisdom of heart. Psalm 90:12

Ecclesiastes 1:2-11, Psalm 90 & Luke 9:7-9

When you surrender your life to God and His Son’s Salvation, you find wisdom in each day you spend seeking not the will of the flesh but the Will of God in Biblical Truth. I feel this arightness in my walk as a Child of God where my heart glows with such beauty I fear nothing for even in death I see a Eternal Life in Heaven by the Blood of a Cross that set me free.

Today I begin a forty-day fast to offer myself up for the love I have of God and Country. I pray many of you will join me too as we fast for the conversion of the many needs of our country’s people of faith. In my heart, I know a majority of American’s is God-fearing and I am calling out to God in a fast to convert the hearts of those who have strayed seeking the pleasures of excess and selfish acts to bring them back aligning them in a Faithful Citizenship of the United States of America.

In these next forty days, I will be writing more in brevity as well as focusing on stirring God’s Truth in your hearts to encourage you all to vote your faith in God’s Word. A youth group from Holland, Michigan created a slogan in the 1990’s to ask the question, “What would Jesus do?” I pray each of us ask Jesus personally in prayer ask what He would be doing and how He would vote when you look at each candidate and each issue up for vote.

When Jesus fasted 40 days in the desert, He avoided temptation by the Truth the Father instilled in His soul. Will you ask Jesus to instill the Father’s Truth in your soul to count your days aright to gain wisdom of heart? Wisdom of heart is gained by living in Truth not living in denial of His Truth. Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray to live our days aright seeking the wisdom of heart You Promise. We pray fervently for Richard Goethel‏. LORD, please guide us to be tolerant and prayerful for the conversion of anyone not knowing Your Word. We are thankful LORD in practice, prayer and preaching. Jesus Christ is Risen! As I practice, preach and proclaim each day

God’s Word needs not desires of liars but Truth for youth. “Every Word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Add nothing to His words, lest He reprimand you, and you be proved a liar.” Proverbs 30:5-6

Wig’s Word of God Today 9-26-2012

God’s Word needs not desires of liars but Truth for youth.

Every Word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Add nothing to His words, lest He reprimand you, and you be proved a liar. Proverbs 30:5-6

As for those who do not welcome you, when you leave that town, shake the dust from your feet in testimony against them. Luke 9:5

Proverbs 30:5-9, Psalm 119 & Luke 9:1-6

There is a Truth in God’s Word we cannot adjust according to our own desires of flesh or reason. God won’t wake up one day and say, “Today, I’m going to allow my children to fornicate one another based on their desires of the flesh suspending all reasons I ever committed to establishing life.” No, God isn’t going to change His mind as much as my son won’t change his mind about not liking chocolate. We must acknowledge this or face the consequences as a nation and humanity for in Truth we cannot place our own yearnings of fornical pleasure above the Truth God used to create the human race.

I am the first to admit that I too was caught up in the flash and flair of living a life of destruction seeking pleasures of the flesh in any sex available. My thoughts were similar to what the secular movement has deemed as “preference” and not what is moral in the eyes of God. My actions were destructive to my own well-being as well as the family I surrounded myself with. The confusion didn’t lift from the fog and haze until I got down on my knees and called out to God asking for direction and peace finding His Good Book to guide my every thought, action and deed.

I can sympathize with people who are confused causing me to pray not say it’s okay for God did not teach his people to condemn by violence in speech or in action but to live as a healthy society by the intrinsic dignity of each person’s respect in word, in action and in law. As I continue forward in my quest to be elected to the US House of Representatives, I will abide by the Truth Gods Word instills in my heart seeking not a disregard for others but the Truth to create the fundamental principles of a healthy society. God reminds us today, “Add nothing to His words, lest He reprimand you, and you be proved a liar.” Amen.

Let us pray: Dear God, we pray the world will listen to Your Word not the desires of their heart. We pray fervently for Richard Goethel‏. LORD, please guide us to be tolerant and prayerful for the conversion of anyone not knowing Your Word. We are thankful LORD in practice, prayer and preaching. Jesus Christ is Risen! Does God weigh your heart by His Word you act on? “All your ways may be straight in your own eyes, but it is the LORD who weighs hearts.” Proverbs 21:2

Wig’s Word of God Today 9-25-2012

Does God weigh your heart by His Word you act on?

All your ways may be straight in your own eyes, but it is the LORD who weighs hearts. Proverbs 21:2

My mother and my brothers are those who hear the Word of God and act on it. Luke 8:21b

Proverbs 21:1-6, 10-13, Psalm 119 & Luke 8:19-21

We return to the theme of being humble as God continues to weigh on our own hearts the need to walk completely in the LORD and not according to someone’s friendships or agreeing with party lines. It reminds me of the movie Courageous because the movie depicted a police officer who was on the up and up with his partner when it came to dedicating his life to God for his son but was caught stealing drugs to make his life easier. His partner had a choice to make: Let him be a thief and drug seller or have him arrested and sent to jail.

f you haven’t seen the movie yet, let me ask, what would you do? Well this election period we have the same situation when it comes to truly living your faith in the eyes of God. You can choose a person based upon party lines that believes “as a Christian(?)” people who are gay should be able to receive the Sacrament of Marriage or you can live your faith and choose an alternative to the lesser of two evils by picking the candidate who truly walks the walk and talks the talk. The LORD is asking humanity to live His Word without compromise. He wants you to know there is a choice. All you have to do is listen to the Word of God and act upon it. Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today to act upon Your Word in Truth. We pray fervently for Richard Goethel‏. LORD, please guide us to be tolerant and prayerful for the conversion of anyone not knowing Your Word. We are thankful LORD in practice, prayer and preaching. Jesus Christ is Risen! Arrogant people lack God’s Truth humble kindness. “When dealing with the arrogant, He is stern, but to the humble He shows kindness.” Proverbs 3:34

Wig’s Word of God Today 9-24-2012

Arrogant people lack God’s Truth humble kindness.

When dealing with the arrogant, He is stern, but to the humble He shows kindness. Proverbs 3:34

For there is nothing hidden that will not become visible, and nothing secret that will not be known and come to light. Luke 8:17

Proverbs 3:27-34, Psalm 15 & Luke 8:16-18

Again, we begin today’s Teaching from the standpoint of being humble as His Word guides us to understand, “When dealing with the arrogant, He is stern, but to the humble He shows kindness.” The LORD has been bringing the thoughts of the proud to Light when we discuss what is best for our country. Many I have spoken to from my own community seem to think they must align with a party instead of finding God’s Truth in their heart. They seem arrogant to me discussing only an allegiance with a person and not the Truth they profess in their own walk with Christ.

I wonder what Jesus would say to anyone who asks, “Jesus, when a person supports gay marriage, is that wrong?” By casting a vote for a person who supports gay marriage, you could be casting the deciding vote that could outlaw preaching the Truth as we know it in a country built on Religious Freedom. From Proverbs to Luke and anywhere in-between the pages of God’s Holy Word, there is nothing there that says being gay is something to support. On the contrary, God instructs us to pray fervently for people who choose a lifestyle of fornication not ridiculing them but lifting them up in prayer daily teaching them the Way of the LORD. My friends who are being arrogant will soon find out that God’s Light will illuminate anything that is hidden in anyone going against God’s Decrees. Will you support arrogant people lacking God’s Truth of humble kindness?

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today to be humble in Truth not arrogant in weakness of selfish desires. We pray fervently for Richard Goethel‏. LORD, please guide us to be tolerant and prayerful for the conversion of anyone not knowing Your Word. We are thankful LORD in practice, prayer and preaching. Jesus Christ is Risen! We pray in His Precious Name indeed. Amen.

To the extent humble possible

I am present to care

I’m only human of everyday affairs

Speaking volumes of Christ to dare

Authentic freedom realized in love so strong

Saying no to what is obviously wrong

Living as dogs without a flip to care

Humans spared by our God Who is fair

True Freedom from my own will

A Trinity of me, myself and I

The greatest impediment of love

Embraced in Christ to openly vie
