Living in His Favor? “He has made known to us the mystery of His will in accord with His favor that He set forth in Him.” Ephesians 3:9

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-15-2012

Living in His Favor?

He has made known to us the mystery of His will in accord with His favor that He set forth in Him. Ephesians 3:9

So they went off and preached repentance. Mark 6:12

Amos 7:12-15, Psalm 85, Ephesians 1:3-14 & Mark 6:7-13

I believe we live our life in favor when we surrender our desires to Christ’s favor of life. It is an unexplainable mystery that overwhelmingly increases our heart rate of repentance sharing the Redemption set forth in Him. The Purpose of life is to live His Mystery by practice, prayer and preaching bringing souls to know His Eternal Promise of Everlasting Life of forgiveness. When we learn to follow Christ’s Instructions, we go off in search of people to preach repentance by our desires to live according to His Will.

You learn to place the other person first as we seek to provide the eyes, thoughts and actions of Jesus Himself. In brevity, we have learned to read His Word together forming a prayerful relationship that Glorifies God on all things. I recently wrote a poem for a man I know places God First in all he does. The poem is the longest poem I’ve ever written for a witness I’ve had the pleasure to grow from. I close in brevity to share the love of God Steve Barile has for his life. May we all live by Christ’s Mystery of Salvation and preach repentance to the world. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to live Christ’s mystery of Redemption giving us strength to preach the Gospel to the world. We pray for Julian’s continued miracle recovery. We pray for Steve Barile and the treats he makes in God’s delicious friendship. Thanks Steve for the prayers and the Gator box. We pray for wisdom to share healing with the world. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Soil of Truth holding our lives

The roots of God to seed

Can you hear God’s Instructions and act? “Then I heard the voice of the LORD saying, “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” “Here I am,” I said; “send me!” Isaiah 6:8

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-14-2012

Can you hear God’s Instructions and act?

Then I heard the voice of the LORD saying, “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” “Here I am,” I said; “send me!” Isaiah 6:8

Therefore do not be afraid of them. Nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known. Matthew 10:26

Isaiah 6:1-8, Psalm 93 & Matthew 10:24-33

How many of us can say we’ve heard the voice of the LORD and acted? I mean how do you know the LORD is guiding you? Do you hear voices or see visions? Do you sit down with Jesus each day and live to accomplish the Will of His Father? We all have different ways of experiencing God’s Divine Voice in our ears, in person or in our hearts but to find the LORD’s Voice you must practice, pray and preach. The Three P’s seem awful simple but is hard to achieve in the midst of lustful pride of interpretation.

Many of us proclaim to be surrendered to Christ’s Way of thinking, feeling and living but interpret the Word of God in such a way that we draw ourselves a way from living the fundamental proof. The LORD says, “Do not kill.” It boggles my mind the justification of people who commit legalized killing of a baby in a womb by saying it’s my choice. God doesn’t give us a choice to live in Truth according to His Word. He doesn’t say in the Bible, “Oh, if you feel you have to, well, go ahead.” No, the Bible says, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life” John 14:6

The Way, the Truth and the Life has asked us to place love above all things reminding us to adhere to God’s Holy Decrees. God surely knew humanity couldn’t follow these ten seemingly simple rules of life but in essence mankind could not. We therefore have received a rite of passage in Christ’s Redemptive Cross of Reconciliation. We are forgiven for our transgressions but not allowed to commit them freely. There will a consequence for those who do not renounce sin by God’s Holy Hand of judgment. Will humanity figure it out or will the secular world of self take over? I for one believe with all my heart and soul that humanity is capable of living in Truth by allowing God to be the Center of everything you do.

Yesterday I reflected with a friend about Truth saying, “As I reflect on our great country, I see the word Truth more and more invisible. “I CAN see it, I can even smell it but I don’t see people living the Truth. More examples than I can shake a stick at. Moreover, we want to know the Truth exists but we fail to follow His Decrees to live in Truth. There is only One Truth: The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. People escape His Truth for selfish reasons but the Truth never escapes YOU. You know as well as I that the Truth is painful- downright ugly most of the time. Forgiven is to give and I have learned to live” finding that when we give back when we live in God’s Forgiveness of all.

God reminds us today to answer His Call no matter how difficult the task and live in His Truth to know His Salvation. Jesus also instructs us today to live in the Truth for “nothing is concealed that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known.” We must draw from His Words the courage to live for His Truth against the ways of evil selfish men and women who disregard the Truth as a “choice.” God’s grace forgives but does not condone.

By His own words mustn’t “be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.” Matthew 10:28 Remember, no matter how God tells you to act on His Truth, we must all practice, pray and preach by our life’s witness to His Surrendered Redemption. We must listen, plan and act for to the rooftops we go. “What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light; what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops.” Matthew 10:27 Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to listen and act on Your Word LORD. We pray for Julian’s complete recovery. LORD we pray for all who are sick and dying. We pray for the Prayer Warriors of the world. We pray for those who are willing to “proclaim from the housetops” Your Eternal Truth of living. We pray for the NC Emmaus Team. We pray this in Jesus Name. Amen.

Endure to the end for Christ’s Sake? “You will be hated by all because of My Name, but whoever endures to the end will be saved.” Matthew 10:22

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-13-2012

Endure to the end for Christ’s Sake?

You will be hated by all because of My Name, but whoever endures to the end will be saved. Matthew 10:22

Hosea 14:2-10, Psalm 51 & Matthew 10:16-23

Do you feel embarrassed by your outward love of Jesus in your life? Are you worried you might offend someone’s beliefs by living the Truth afforded to us by His Word? I’ve seen people scoff at the t-shirts I wear often because they display my love of Christ in some sort of way. Do you walk away or do you bless them with God’s bountiful love that drives your life in faith, hope and love? It is exactly the reaction that people need to see from you as God’s Only Son would have acted toward anyone even the people who kicked, spit and scourged him. It’s letting go and letting God direct your life in such a way you feel His Protection in the midst of jealousy, rage and envy.

Remember, people want to feel what you feel for God in their life too, it just takes more sometimes for them to experience it. We must live with more humility, meekness and modesty just as Christ did as He walked the earth sharing the Father’s love without prejudice. He gave more than anyone could have imagined. He freely gave His life enduring the pain of humiliation, beating and death. Don’t be afraid of sharing Christ’s love for people. Be afraid of living eternally in hell if you don’t. For “whoever endures to the end will be saved.” Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray for You Grace LORD to overcome the jealousy, rage and envy of people who deep down in their heart long for Your Truth. Guide us LORD to share where nobody else will share. Guide us to give where nobody else will give. We pray for Julian’s completer healing. We pray for NC Emmaus Team’s travel and weekend next week. We pray for the soul of Gregory who died yesterday. We pray for Richard G’s ultrasound today to show a complete healing. We pray for Joe Scott’s complete healing. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

His Peace you shall give. “As you enter a house, wish it peace.” Matthew 10:12

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-12-2012

His Peace you shall give.

As you enter a house, wish it peace. Matthew 10:12

Hosea 11:1-9, Psalm 80 & Matthew 10:7-15

There are times in your life when you’ll come upon people who are desperately seeking the Face of God because of events in their life that cause them distress. I see each of them as the House of God upon which we as stout believing Christians should wish peace upon them. We have to remember to wish peace not only upon them but also the people that surround their lives. I have the opportunity to witness this in the hospital as I sit and comfort my step-son in his recovery from a car accident.

Many people are aching here as they watch a loved one fight to live or the anguish of having to let someone go into the hands of God because of they are essentially brain dead from their injury. I have taken the stance not to just sit back and watch the anguish of people’s tragedy but standing up and praying over the person who is ill, the various family members and friends who are experiencing the confusion of a loved one in distress.

Each and every one needs the comfort of a person who has the joy of Christ in his or her heart. We have to learn to practice what we preach in all circumstances allowing the Holy Spirit to move thoughts, minds and actions into the faith God instilled in the heartbeat of humanity by His Son’s Truth Eternally written for our instruction. By your actions you too can wish peace upon a stranger in distress. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to wish peace upon people we know and don’t know. We pray for Julian’s complete healing LORD. We pray to find the strength to overcome all obstacles in our lives by the faith we live in You.  We pray Gregory showing brain activity here in the ICU next to Julian. We pray for all people in need of Your Mercy LORD. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Are you proclaiming the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand? “Go instead to the lost sheep of the House of Israel. And as you go, proclaim that the Kingdom of Heaven is close at hand.” Matthew 10:6-7

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-11-2012

Are you proclaiming the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand?

Sow saving justice for yourselves, reap a harvest of faithful love; break up your fallow ground: it is time to seek out Yahweh until He comes to rain saving justice down on you. Hosea 10:12

Go instead to the lost sheep of the House of Israel. And as you go, proclaim that the Kingdom of Heaven is close at hand. Matthew 10:6-7

Hosea 10:1-3, 7-8, 12, Psalm 105 & Matthew 10:1-7

When you share the faithful love of God, you can begin to see that it can be done anywhere you are causing some extraordinary results. God’s saving justice reacts swiftly to the faithful of His Word and the love you share brings the desired results of joy in the midst of pain. Our son’s accident has been a grueling experience but the amazing reaction of those we encounter of his friends has allowed us to use our love of God to instill the Truth of His Kingdom each and every day to several young adults. More and more of his friends are reading the Word of God today because of his accident and that in itself is the real testament of God’s Amazing Grace of Healing.

My wife and I pray every day that we can be the example God has intended us to be for the lost sheep of God’s reward. We also have had opportunity’s to share fellowship with complete strangers drawing God’s Community as One to accomplish His Will. We pray aloud in the hospital room to bring the Spirit of His love to the people surrounding our family’s medical care and I believe it brings about a soothing presence of God’s Love to people who are treating our son as well as the people who are there praying for their own family members to get well.

I purposely ask people in the lobby for the relative’s names so we can include them in our prayers each and every day. I have held complete strangers in my arms praying over them with God’s Confidence of Healing love and we welcome their payers for our child as well. We have been guided to the “Lost Sheep” by God’s Divine Will sharing the faithful love of God’s reward. I pray our example will cause people to react and make people be proactive in God’s love of the world. Are you proclaiming the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand?

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray You will use us as a people to Proclaim Your Kingdom is at hand to the lost sheep of the world. We pray for Julian’s complete healing. We pray for the Prayer Warriors of the world. Thank You! We pray all things in the Name of Jesus.  Amen.

How do you bless the LORD? “It is we who bless the LORD, both now and forever. Hallelujah!” Psalm 115:18

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-10-2012

How do you bless the LORD?

It is we who bless the LORD, both now and forever. Hallelujah! Psalm 115:18

Hosea 8:4-7, 11-13, Psalm 115 & Matthew 9:32-38

We must bless the LORD with our lives to expect the Grace the LORD bestows on each of us. I remember a story of a woman calling a Catholic Church who is distraught experiencing all sorts of troubles in life. She is calling to request help in some sort of way, i.e. food, clothing and shelter. She explains her mom and dad help build this church or that ministry and has always given abundantly to the Church.

When asked if she attended church herself, her answer was “sometimes.” When asked if she was taking time to pray the obvious prayers her parents taught her she replied, “I don’t have time.” God has all the answers yet we are overwhelmed with selfish desires to accomplish His directed Decrees of Truth. I find it odd that people feel the deserve help from the church they don’t place any effort in to build up and pray for.

God’s abundance of Grace won’t be felt from lackadaisical effort of living for the Body of Christ. Your parents giving to the Church was accomplished by faith, hope and love. If we can’t find the time to live in God’s faith, hope and love, how can you expect to feel the Grace God has written into your Divine Life of Truth? We reap what we sow comes to mind. It is we who should bless the LORD now and forever. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we give our all to You in practice, prayer and preaching. We pray for Julian’s complete healing. We pray for knowledge LORD to live in Your Truth always. We pray for all the Prayer Warriors in the world. Thank You all. We pray the strength to overcome the fatigue in our bodies. We pray for the NC Emmaus Team and their travel needs. We pray for the Ebert Family’s new baby and the poem I wrote below for them yesterday in response to her prayers for Julian. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Prayers of healing God can’t deny

The Cross gives us strength

As the tears find their way to the ground

Confusion seems abundant

Blessed by the LORD through trust, action and fear? “Those who fear the LORD trust in the LORD, Who is their help and shield. The LORD remembers us and will bless us.” Psalm 145:11-12a

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-9-2012

Blessed by the LORD through trust, action and fear?

Those who fear the LORD trust in the LORD, Who is their help and shield. The LORD remembers us and will bless us. Psalm 145:11-12a

Hosea 2:16, 17-18, 21-22, Psalm 145 & Matthew 9:18-26

It is by your commitment to serving the LORD with all your heart and soul that you’ll find His Graces around every corner you travel. The Graces may come in a smile from a stranger or the opening of the eyes of your son healing from a car accident. We must learn to embrace His gifts as a desired outcome from our practice, prayer and preaching. It is by our fear of the LORD’s Omnipotence do we find the joys of trusting His Truth with every aspect of our lives.

From the very moment you get up try praying the following prayer to start your day, “In the Name of the Father Who created me, In the Name of the Son Who Redeemed me and in the Name of the Holy Spirit Who sanctifies me, I offer this day I’m about to take on.” In my case, I turn to my wife and say “Good Morning beautiful” after we repeat this prayer together.

We have to be diligent in our determination to place God First in everything we do. We can’t ride the fence and expect His Graces to find their way into our life without first living out our trust of His Word in every step we take. I know, it’s hard but the rewards are beyond our ability to comprehend if we’d only just Trust in God’s Plan for our life. “May you be blessed by the LORD, Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 145:15 Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to Trust You LORD with every step we take in our lives. We pray for the continued healing of our son Julian. We pray for the NC Emmaus Team’s preparation. We pray for the knowledge to know how to practice, pray and preach. We pray LORD You will be with me tonight for my first Candidate Forum to share my views and love our great country. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

In your weakness God’s Truth doesn’t change. “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made Perfect in weakness.” Second Corinthians 12:9b

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-8-2012

In your weakness God’s Truth doesn’t change.

My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made Perfect in weakness. Second Corinthians 12:9b

I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and constraints, for the sake of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong. Second Corinthians 12:10

He was amazed at their lack of faith. Mark 6:6

Ezekiel 2:2-5, Psalm 123, Second Corinthians 12:7-10 & Mark 6:1-6

The grace of God will keep you from falling prey to any insults, hardships or constraints by your surrender to living the Word of God. In the early years of the prophets, many were put to death because selfish sinful people could not separate the notion of Truth and living in sin. The Prophets of Old distinguished themselves by telling the Truth and not wavering from the Truth to be told sending many to a death to simply be silenced. When you allow yourselves to be silenced by Satan’s glare of sin’s enticing flair, you shut off living in Truth not admitting you are sinner through and through.

Paul reminds us today that we have to be willing to admit we are sinners calling out to God in the midst of sin to stay faithful to the Glory of God the Father. “I will rather boast most gladly of my weaknesses, in order that the power of Christ may dwell with me.” Second Corinthians 12:9c We must not be afraid of sharing God’s Truth by our thoughts, actions and deeds. We will see His Truth in the midst of sin and gain strength by it by the Glory of God’s Grace upon you. Now is the time to call out to God in repentance allowing His Son’s Cross to free your soul.

Oh sure, you’ll have every type of person to cross and your beliefs. They’ll entice you with promises of riches or lust stealing the Joy God intended you to have. We mustn’t worry for God Himself sent His Only Begotten Son to share with us His Perception of our lack of faith giving us Redemption by His willingness to die for the sins of the world. Even Christ felt the sting of a lack of faith in His own hometown that amazed Him that they lacked such faith.

Our faith may waiver but we must call out to God amidst the fence walking acrobats we try and walk without God as our guide. See the strength God gives you in your time of weakness and accept the call of surrendering on our knees to God’s Divine Plan for each of us. God is calling the world to actively proclaim the Truth as the majority of believers and teach the world there is God’s Strength in the weakest of weak garnishing faith that’ll move the world. For in your weakness God doesn’t change. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear Heavenly King, we pray to call out to You LORD when we are weak never losing sight of Your Truth to live. We pray for Your Healing Hands to guide our son Julian back to health. We pray to maintain our strength as we endure the fatigue of attentive vigil for Julian. We pray LORD for the NC Emmaus Team preparation. LORD, You alone know our hearts, teach us to be people of faith not afraid of sharing Your Truth amidst the confusion. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

A new skin of life offered in Christ. “People do not put new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise the skins burst, the wine spills out, and the skins are ruined. Rather, they pour new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.” Matthew 9:17

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-7-2012 Julian’s Healing Skin of Christ

A new skin of life offered in Christ.

People do not put new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise the skins burst, the wine spills out, and the skins are ruined. Rather, they pour new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved. Matthew 9:17

Amos 9:11-15, Psalm 85 & Matthew 9:14-17

I begin today by joining my love of God to describe Day 8 of Julian’s Healing Update. The “New Skin in Christ” has been bestowed on Julian by the amazing display of love through prayer we are receiving all over the world. Julian’s old wine represented in his loss of blood and transfusion of new blood we can see and feel the “New Skin in Christ” Julian has because all of you who have called, sent emails or sent us cards expressing your sympathy and love.

We are all very amazed and thankful at the outpouring of prayers that we both sometimes begin to cry just thinking of all the people who are praying for Julian and us. The Road to Recovery has many beautiful sights but the scenery can and will be very difficult to stay in our seatbelts from the challenges and bumps we will and have encountered thus far.

Julian lost every bit of his blood. The stomach wound looks like a steel zipper from the staples closing his wound from his spleen removal to stop the internal bleeding also acted like a giant petri dish collecting bacteria and growing into a blood infection. The infection is causing Julian to have a constant fever of 100 degrees plus making his heart race like a little Red Corvette sometimes over 125 beats per minute. He is so sedated he hasn’t opened his eyes in two days but he has made other strides such as having bowel movements as well as breathing better on his own.

Last night he was wheeled into surgery to remove the final chest drain tube and be outfitted with a trachea breathing tube in his throat. The relief I can see in his expressions of not having a piece of quarter inch PVC pipe shoved down his throat was overwhelming. We can see the alleviation it causes in his mouth’s movements as well as his color in his face. We are thankful God has taken Julian this far and we all are easily overcome with tears of exhaustion allowing us to heal from our constant attentive thoughts, action and love.

Every experience in life God allows us to grow if we’d only see each instance as the Will of God.  This accident makes us all be thankful and aware of the healing every family member must go through. It has drawn people together in God’s Precious Name sharing Truth in every action. The life of two families that once was a separate entity of parents to Julian have drawn the two newest parents of Julian into a beautiful teamed effort to see Julian walk out of this life altering event as a SURVIVOR!!! THANKS BE TO GOD…

We have learned to accept the “Marathon Heart” beating in Julian’s chest as a sign for us to be ready to go the long distance. We believe because of the prayers you have provided, the vigil of care he has received from all family members and his young age Julian will fight off this infection, the shock his organs received because of blood loss and heal the broker bones quicker than most. The doctor reports Julian is still in CRITICAL condition progressing day-by-day on God’s Own Divine Plan of healing.

We close today asking that your prayers continue as we get down on our knees in thanksgiving to Glorify the Father because of each of you “The Stampeding Intercessors of Heaven’s Door.” God is answering the prayers we all have to see success in Julian’s recovery. Our unspoken “thanks” is a real aspect of every tear we shed during the day. Tears of gratitude. Tears of love. Tears of Surrender. Each of you are in our prayers too. God is Glorified in all. In our healing, we remain,

Yours in Christ,

Is your loyalty in living the Knowledge of God? “Go and learn the meaning of the words, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ I did not come to call the righteous but sinners.” Matthew 9:13

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-6-2012

Is your loyalty in living the Knowledge of God?

Go and learn the meaning of the words, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ I did not come to call the righteous but sinners.” Matthew 9:13

Amos 8:4-6, 9-12, Psalm 119 & Matthew 9:9-13

Let us learn the meaning of the words, “I desire mercy, not sacrifice.” They are drawn from Hosea 6:6, “For it is loyalty that I desire, not sacrifice, and knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.” Where does your loyalty dwell in the midst of oppression, havoc and confusion? The Secular world of Satan’s ugliness will try to draw your attention away from God’s Truth by the falsehoods of flash, flair and flirtations that give you a rise ending in loneliness wanting more to kill your soul.

Mercy is the loyalty you live to accomplish God’s Will. It comes with understanding, humility and generosity to accomplish more in living the Word of God instilling in friends and foe alike the joy of living in faith, hope and love. It is the blessing we strive to accomplish by our knowledge of God’s Word.

It is the reason why I sit awake at 4:21 AM in the hospital soothing my step-son’s coughs and sores by reading God’s Truth aloud to find more knowledge to abide in His Will. In brevity, I pray we can find His knowledge in everything we study each and every day. Is your loyalty in living the knowledge of God? May we find His love in every step we take. Amen!

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to live in sharing mercy and knowledge of Your Truth. We pray for Julian’s complete recovery. We pray for people confused by Satan’s flash and flair. We pray for NC Emmaus Team preparation. We pray for the Intercessors of Heaven proclaiming Your Truth to the lost and sinners. We pray LORD You relieve our fatigue and focus our lives on You. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God Bless His Truth for America,

The all night love is a parent’s duty to agree- Julian’s Healing Watch

Today I am exceedingly tired LORD

My fatigue is real by Your accord

I’m here for Your Truth to absorb

Can You make me know Heaven’s door?

I see the lifeless body of a son in need

His veins are blue as his body does bleed

Air being forced to feed his lungs degree

A cold water bath at 4:44 to cool and seethe

In your youth you rarely seem to believe

Trauma can come upon you like a baby in need

Soothe his cuts and broken bones to conceive

In Jesus Name we ask You to give Julian relief

The all night love is a parent’s duty to agree
