Come and hear, all you who fear God, while I recount what has been done for me. Psalm 66:16

Come and hear, all you who fear God, while I recount what has been done for me. Psalm 66:16

Acts 8:26-40, Psalm 66 & John 6:44-51

There are days you will awake in anger, pain and distress because the food you ate has sapped your strength and given you the feeling of sickness but the joy you feel in your heart for God’s Purpose in your life can be explained by simply opening your Bible and reading His Truth of comfort. Today I will share portions Psalm 66 where I am feeling the lift of His Truth past the feeling of some sort of food poisoning that rumbled my bowels throughout the night.

Find the time in your distress to seek the LORD in any circumstance and Trust He will deliver you to experience His mercy, grace and love. You need only open your Bible to find God’s Divine Plan for you that allows all pain, anger and distress to melt away like snow on a sunny day. In the Good Book of Life, all things are possible and more. Amen.

I called to Him with my mouth; praise was upon my tongue. Had I cherished evil in my heart, the LORD would not have heard. But God did hear and listened to my voice in prayer. Blessed be God, who did not reject my prayer and refuse His mercy.” Psalm 66:17-20

Dear LORD of mercy, we pray to open Your Truth in Word when we feel sick, depressed and crossed by a naive world. We pray for my children. We pray LORD all petitions are gathered to make the ballot. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Not refusing mercy or rejecting my heart- Psalm 66

For the leader created a song

To shout joyfully all day long

Singing praise of His Wondrous Name

Deeds of awesome wonder His game

The whole earth worship’s You

Giving credit where obviously due

A sea to dry land to pass through

By foot to know His mercy so True

All rebels who rise to challenge know shame

His strength is the Truth in His Name

No stumbling of feet can the good claim

Only those who trouble God will He blame

Tried as silver heated in fire

We’re all captive if called a liar

The earth knows His wrath can be dire

Freedom is given to those who admire

The willingness to bow and fulfill your vows

Offering burnt offerings of strength in plows

Your lips pronouncing all distress in pain

Fatlings and sacrifice I offer for Your gain

Come and hear all who fear God’s Truth

My mouth called to Him in my youth

No evil in my heart did I ever approve

For His ear is deaf to the liar’s groove

God did hear the prayer I learned so smart

Listening to my voice from the very start

Blessed be God forever to eternally part

Not refusing mercy or rejecting my heart

Go out to the whole world; proclaim the Gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:15-16

Wig’s Word of God Today 4-25-2012

You will have to suffer only for a little while: the God of all grace Who called you to Eternal Glory in Christ will restore you, He will confirm, strengthen and support you. His Power lasts forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 5:10-11

Go out to the whole world; proclaim the Gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:15-16

1 Peter 5:5-14, Psalm 89 & Mark 16:15-20

I can remember the times I seemed to suffer endless thoughts of pain and confusion from selfish sin that ripped at my very soul wondering how long I could stand to suffer living a life without calling out to God for restoration, strength and forgiveness. For some reason, I like many of you felt like I was going to “get a round to it” but I seemed to linger in and around a lost confused world of darkness for way too long. When I allowed the Light of Christ to truly flood my path I began to see the suffering as God’s Will to restore me to His glory.

We must all accept or deny His Calling to find the absolute restoration God has in store for your Divine Plan. God’s confirmation, strength and support is an unmatched feeling of release allowing you to live in faith, hope and love of God’s Redemptive Plan for you. You see, God’s Son shouldered the sin of the world to guide each of us to know True Forgiveness to live for His Father’s Glory.

When you believe Christ was born, lived sinless for 33 years, suffered, died and was buried to rise on the Third Day, you must call out to Him in Repentance to become Baptized washing away the faults, defects and mistakes of living without God as your guide. Once cleansed by the Waters of Baptism, you must garnish your own Cross to live in practice, prayer and preaching. You are now Commanded by God to share His Son’s Redemption with the world and pray unceasingly for anyone you know to find God’s faith, hope and love. Now do as He instructs and “Go out to the whole world; proclaim the Gospel to all creation.” Amen.

Dear God of grace, we pray to live in Your Power of Restoration by our belief in Your Son’s Redemptive Death on a Cross. We pray for my children. We pray LORD all petitions are gathered to make the ballot. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Jesus answered them: I am the Bread of Life. No one who comes to Me will ever hunger; no one who believes in Me will ever thirst. John 6:35

Wig’s Word of God Today 4-24-2012

LORD, do not hold this sin against them. Acts 7:60b

It is my Father who gives you the bread from heaven, the True Bread; for the Bread of God is the Bread which comes down from Heaven and gives Life to the world. ‘Sir,’ they said, ‘give us that bread always.’ Jesus answered them: I am the Bread of Life. No one who comes to Me will ever hunger; no one who believes in Me will ever thirst. John 6:32d-35

Acts 7:51–8:1, Psalm  31 & John 6:30-35

Forgiveness is the hardest thing to accomplish and I can only imagine what strength and love of Christ it must have taken for Stephen to say in his last breath, “LORD, do not hold this sin against them.” God gave him a glimpse of Heaven in his trial and his longing for the life embellished in Christ would soon be given to him completely for God knew they were soon going to kill him and Stephen would be joining them in Heaven in Eternal Living. Since the beginning of Christ’s time, the last 2000 years have seen many a Martyr come and go resting in the fullness of God’s grace.

Each has given there own contribution to the world we call home to overcome the selfishness of sin and division. Each of these great sacrifices for Truth came with the knowledge of Eternal Life in Heaven and therefore demonstrates a forgiveness of their killers as a grace from God Himself. It is my belief the aborted children of the world play with Christ in Heaven in a forgiveness granted only by Christ Himself. Will you forgive before you die the hate or disgust you harbor inside? Jesus is asking us to live as He did in forgiveness. Amen.

There is a joy we receive when we share the love of Christ with people we know and don’t know that lifts us up into real forgiveness. It is Christ we must share with the people around us to help satisfy the hunger we live for each day. The hunger of love and affection that all humanity craves from the opposite sex as much as the love and affection we crave from the Trinity. Let us live to share His Truth to overcome the division in the world and promote True Forgiveness in a life of faith, hope and love. Only in His True Bread may we find the nourishment of Eternal Life ready to forgive and forget for the Glory of God. Amen.

Dear LORD, we pray to forgive by the nourishment Your Bread of Life gives us. We pray for my children. We pray LORD all petitions are gathered to make the ballot. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

What can you do to make us find?

Eternal Living in bread as we dine

Your ancestors ate manna in the heat

The desert place of God’s choice to greet

From Heaven above did the food fall to seek

True Bread from Heaven to Eternally meet

Jesus gave an amen or two and noted

Moses didn’t give them bread He quoted

It was My Father Who sent them love from above

True Bread was their Eternal offering to love

They asked to receive this bread always

He responded in kind to overcome the haze

I Am the Bread of Life to never hunger

Believe in Me and thirst no longer

His face appeared to them like the face of an angel. Acts 6:15b

His face appeared to them like the face of an angel. Acts 6:15b

Do not work for food that goes bad, but work for Food that endures for Eternal Life, which the Son of Man will give you, for on Him the Father, God Himself, has set His Seal. John 6:27

Acts 6:8-15, Psalm 119 & John 6:22-29

When the Hand of God is guiding your life, you will find your face too will Light up like the face of an angel in waiting. Steven was facing his death with pure desire and love to be with his King, Jesus Christ. He shed not a tear but instead we will soon hear of his amazing words of grace that explain everything the Spirit of God wants him to relay to the men who will soon kill him. Here we find the courage of a lion in an angelic young man who wanted nothing more than to serve Christ with joy, passion and love yet they still did not understand his words of Truth coming from his mouth of peace.

God has given Jesus the Seal of Life by establishing through Him the Real Food and Drink of heavenly angels. When we begin to realize the Food of Life is the food of heaven, we are seeking not your own ways of understanding God’s Truth but His Way of Eternal Life in practice, prayer and preaching. I for one seek His Nourishment daily in thought, Word and deed to accomplish His Will in sharing the gift of life from His Gospel of guidance. People around you will find reasons to compromise His Truth for selfish gain but I implore you to be steadfast in God’s Word to live for faith, hope and love. Amen.

Dear LORD, we pray to seek Your Food of Comfort to give us strength to accomplish Your Will. We pray for my children. We pray LORD all petitions are gathered to make the ballot. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

You killed the Prince of Life. God, however, raised Him from the dead. Acts 3:15

Wig’s Word of God Today 4-22-2012

You killed the Prince of Life. God, however, raised Him from the dead. Acts 3:15

Everything written about Me in the Law of Moses, in the Prophets and in the Psalms, was destined to be fulfilled. He then opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and He said to them, ‘So it is written that the Christ would suffer and on the Third Day Rise from the dead, and that, in His Name, repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be preached to all nations.’ Luke 24:44c-47a

Acts 3:13-15, 17-19, Psalm 4, First John 2:1-5 & Luke 24:35-48

There are probably numerous times each of us have killed the Prince of Life in our lives. Maybe we shut Him out of our conscious for fear of not being able to be perfect. Maybe His Word has driven you away killing His Spirit because you have found the Words to be overwhelming. Maybe, just maybe, you are afraid of talking about God to friends, people in public and family at home. It’s all very understandable. Living for God is tough yet more rewarding.

Anything worth living for takes work and commitment. God will fill your plate up and take it away. God will sustain you by your own loyalty of opening your mind to His Truth. Yes, He does want us to strive for perfection but He wants us to know trying and living the Gospel is a place of forgiveness and love.

What I find so convincing of why I believe in Jesus Christ, is He did fulfill every detail written by the Prophets, the Law of Moses and the Psalms. God truly prepared humanity the Perfect Sign for us to believe and embrace as total Truth. He gave us the remedy for selfishness and sin providing the Holy Spirit to guide our thoughts, actions and love. God’s Word can guide you without having to know how to quote the Bible- you can live it until the Words become a part of your every thought, action and deed.

There is no compromise for living outside of God’s Divine Truth for His Book of Life is not negotiable. In my written brevitation I will close with First John 2:4-5 where God shares that by embracing the attempt to live for Him is not enough, no, you must live His Commandments to find God’s perfected love in you. “Whoever says, ‘I know Him’ without keeping His Commandments, is a liar, and truth has no place in him. But anyone who does keep His Word, in such a one God’s love truly reaches its perfection. This is the proof that we are in God.” Amen.

Dear LORD, we pray to embrace Your Prince of Life for the goodness of Your Perfection. We pray for our wives, husbands and children. LORD instill in us the strength to reach perfection in You. We pray LORD all petitions are gathered to make the ballot. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

It was getting dark by now and Jesus had still not rejoined them. When they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming towards the boat, they were afraid, but He said, ‘It’s Me. Don’t be afraid.’ John 6:17b/20b

It was getting dark by now and Jesus had still not rejoined them. When they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming towards the boat, they were afraid, but He said, ‘It’s Me. Don’t be afraid.’ John 6:17b/20b

Acts 6:1-7, Psalm 33 & John 6:16-21

Why do we find so much beauty and peace in the sound of rain and thunder? It makes my heart rejoice in His Spirit knowing the consequences of the damp pastels in puddles forming throughout the world; life. A four-letter word life (“it means forever”) of celebration to rejoice in God’s glory. A beautiful Spirit of Truth descends on your life and people of faith are your companions who hold hands, pray and celebrate God’s love. I have personally witnessed the laying of hands on someone for various reasons of sickness or God’s guidance and in today’s world. There are so many different ways of “laying your hands” on someone in thoughts and in prayers and in deeds.

It’s when we find His Spirit lifting our voices and our strength to accomplish everything for Him do we know His Spirit is in us every step of the Way. Yesterday I felt this “laying of hands” through action and love by some of you who study the Bible with me everyday. Simply put, I was tearfully touched and thankful God is the center of our lives. I know sometimes in our lives we find ourselves wanting to rid our fears of darkness where we think Jesus is not present in some naive way.

The Disciples felt that fear as they began to enter darkness without Jesus holding on to faith as they see Him coming to them on the water across the sea. Fear melts to Rejoicement as His words enter their ears, “It’s Me. Don’t be afraid.” I must admit the fear of His strength just shot through my chest from Lighting hitting next to my house. A fear we sometimes feel when we think God isn’t with us in everything we do. We separate ourselves from God and find a misery in the darkness of life but Jesus is telling you He is there, do not be afraid. Focus on Jesus to overcome the darkness and celebrate in the puddles creating the pastels of God’s Divine Plan for you. Amen.

My LORD and My God, we pray to live in Your Light of Truth guided by puddles of nourishment. I say a prayer of thanksgiving for the power staying on and the rain coming down so hard. We pray for my Vigil Group praying for the unborn at the abortion clinic this morning from 7-9 AM. We LORD will rejoice in Your Puddles for the children dying in our midst. We pray LORD all petitions are gathered to make the ballot. We pray for my children. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

If this enterprise, this movement of theirs, is of human origin it will break up of its own accord; but if it does in fact come from God you will be unable to destroy them. Take care not to find yourselves fighting against God. Acts 5:38c-39b

Wig’s Word of God Today 4-20-2012

If this enterprise, this movement of theirs, is of human origin it will break up of its own accord; but if it does in fact come from God you will be unable to destroy them. Take care not to find yourselves fighting against God. Acts 5:38c-39b

Where can we buy some bread for these people to eat? He said this only to put Philip to the test; He himself knew exactly what He was going to do. John 6:5c-6

Acts 5:34-42, Psalm 27 & John 6:1-15

I am impressed with the reasoning of the Pharisee called Gamaliel who speaks of the Truth he and all the Sanhedrin have dealt with in the past. He knows anything from human origins will pass away like smoke in the wind but if God has His Hand in the words and deeds of the Apostles, they would not be able to stop them anymore than they could stop Jesus from rising from the dead. Jesus Christ is Risen- He is Risen indeed was in the back of their minds and the Sanhedrin Gamaliel made sure they understood Christ’s Resurrection could not be ignored.

I truly enjoy how Jesus never seems to be worried about anything, at anytime or anywhere. He knows His Father was going to guide Him to a place of Redemption and each step Jesus took; each Word He shared in His Teachings came from the One and Only True Source of all. We sometimes fail to feel this in our own lives as we anxiously prepare for an exam or share our views of God with total strangers. Maybe right now, you are struggling with someone or something really bad and you have turned to multiple sources to ask for help when the only True Source of assistance already dwells in your heart and soul.

Try to remember to look at life’s difficulties as living the Will of God and choose to conduct yourself in joyous celebration of living God’s Divine Plan to overcome fear, apprehension and concern. My wife made a picture frame out of a saying she and I live by. Make one on your own and hang it somewhere you’ll see it each day as you leave your home to live for God’s Purpose. It goes like this: “Don’t tell God how big your storm is. Tell your storm how BIG God is.” Amen.

Dear God, we pray to live in Your Will by our practice, prayer and preaching. We continue our prayers for Jemma’s recovery. Praying for a friend’s son, Brandel Bryant, who is in prison. Obedience to God comes before obedience to men! Acts 5:29b

Wig’s Word of God Today 4-19-2012

Obedience to God comes before obedience to men! Acts 5:29b

Anyone who does accept His testimony is attesting that God is True. John 3:33

Acts 5:27-33, Psalm 34 & John 3:31-36

There seems to be a lot of confusion in the world when it comes to when we are supposed to be obedient to God’s Word, God’s Decrees and God’s Own Son. Many seem to think they can compromise God’s Word for someone else’s desires or decisions. Let’s look at the example of someone who I met last week who gave a response to a question about someone in Congress who doesn’t follow the Letter of God’s Law when it comes to God’s Own Design of marriage between and man and a woman.

I asked the person if his support followed true Biblical Teachings. His response was selfish and self-serving; “sometimes we have to make compromises.” The amazing thing in this was a 16-year-old Christian girl asked, “But doesn’t God tell us to strive for perfection in everything we do? Without compromise? Without concession? That response doesn’t align with God’s Own Word.” The man walked away embarrassed that a 16-year-old girl could see the Truth without compromise. I pray we all live our lives this way. God’s Own Way! Amen.

A new friend and Brother in Christ described it to me this way: “It is my belief that if we, as Christians, compromise God’s Word for the sake of safety, comfort, expediency or political gain then we are not truly Christians. The life of a soldier is the United States armed forces are to follow orders. Should there be a different set of rules for soldier’s that kill and destroy than a soldier of love and compassion? As a soldier in God’s army we have to follow orders too – the Bible. Following God’s Commandments in politics will not make you be liked or popular but the rewards in God’s eyes are immense. As I said on Saturday, there is only one Truth.” Do you make selfish compromises? Do you believe there is only One Truth?

Dear God, we pray to never make compromises when it comes to following Your Word. We seek Your guidance LORD in practice, prayer and deed. We continue our prayers for Jemma’s recovery. Praying for a friend’s son, Brandel Bryant, who is in prison. Praying for anyone called to write him to contact me for his address. We pray LORD all petitions are gathered to make the ballot. Everybody who does wrong hates the Light and avoids it, to prevent his actions from being shown up; but whoever does the Truth comes out into the Light, so that what he is doing may plainly appear as done in God. John 3:20-21

Wig’s Word of God Today 4-18-2012

Everybody who does wrong hates the Light and avoids it, to prevent his actions from being shown up; but whoever does the Truth comes out into the Light, so that what he is doing may plainly appear as done in God. John 3:20-21

Acts 5:17-26, Psalm 34 & John 3:16-21

Did you ever wonder what the sign meant that a fan holds up at a football game in the middle of the goal posts that says “John 3:16?” As a child growing up, I would often wonder what these simple letters and numbers relayed but I never had the notion to look it up because I was filled with selfish thoughts and lacked spiritual guidance as a kid. One day my mother’s mom explained John 3:16 to me and gave me a task: Learn the LORD’s prayer and I’d get $5. Here I was at the age 12, lanky and vulgar, already smoking in the dark yet determined I wouldn’t let her down.

The “Our Father” has been a special prayer ever since but it still took years to understand John 3:16 and God’s Word to guide my life by. I was determined as a child to stay hidden in the dark trying anything anyone would place in front of me seeking only the affection from as many girls as I could. While my grandmother gave it her best shot to guide me to understand Christ’s Stand for me, I preferred to linger in the darkness of sin and excess chasing away the memories of a mental and physically abusive alcoholic father.

Our lives are centered around making choices of living in the dark or fulfilling God’s Will in His Light of Truth. You may think nobody notices but believe me they do. Please believe people will wonder why you seem to keep to yourself instead of sharing God’s amazing miracles of transformation from being a child in the dark to a Child of God in His Light of Salvation.

There is nothing to hide from when you display His Truth in everything you do and allow the Light of Salvation to guide your life to display an understanding of John 3:16 by faith, hope/charity and love. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him might not perish but might have Eternal Life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.” John 3:16-17 Do you feel saved by knowing and living for His Truth?

Dear Light of the world, we pray to live in Your Light of Truth by our desire to share Your faith, hope and love with the world. We seek Your guidance LORD in practice, prayer and deed. We pray LORD all petitions are gathered to make the ballot. We pray for my children. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

If you do not believe Me when I speak to you about earthly things, how will you believe Me when I speak to you about heavenly things? John 3:12

As Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up so that everyone who believes may have Eternal Life in Him. John 3:14-15

Acts 4:32-37, Psalm 93 & John 3:7-15

To be Born Again seems hard to understand unless you have faith God is leading humanity by His Amazing Grace in Jesus Christ. You are born anew in a life of Truth surrounded by wolves that neither destroys your cleanliness or averts your surrender because the Eternal Life given to those believers outweighs any threat or treasure imaginable to man. There can never be a reason why we compromise God’s Word for the sake of protection, convenience or luxury.

The life of a believer in Jesus Christ is Born Again to live as the Truth in His Word guides us with faith, hope/charity and love for every human alive. Jesus knew He had to be lifted up on a Cross just as Moses lifted up a snake in the desert to find healing and life after being bitten by a serpent in the desert. When they lifted up Jesus on our Redemption’s Cross, they fulfilled every written prophesy about the Savior of the world coming to cleanse humanity from sin. We are all recipients of this Redemption as well as being Born Again to live a life anew in His Truth. Amen.

Dear LORD, we pray to always believe in Your Son’s Gospel to live in faith, hope and love. We seek Your guidance LORD in practice, prayer and deed. We pray for Jemma Peterson’s recovery and peace. We pray LORD all petitions are gathered to make the ballot. We pray for my children. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

You are Born Again to Eternal Life and Much Much More-John 3:7-15

No surprise in being born again

The life of the Spirit renews your grin

Just as the wind blows where it will to blend

You too will be guided in new birth to win

Nicodemus could not understand

How can that be came his official stand

As a teacher Jesus said you should command

The Truth in Israel to prove God is grand

What we may know and see is what people believe

Hard to conceive the wind passing by the tree

Unless you see the leaves blow hard back and forth

The big star in the sky guides us to True North

Still people will reject your evidence as nil

Even when Truth guides them up a large hill

For if they can’t comprehend the earthly things as thrill

How can they believe heavenly things to consciously bill

Only the Son of Man came down from heaven to adore

He was lifted up on a Cross to equal heaven’s score

If you see His Cross in dream to come ashore

You are Born Again to Eternal Life and Much Much More
