When this was concluded, Paul made up his mind to travel through Macedonia and Achaia, and then to go on to Jerusalem, saying, “After I have been there, I must visit Rome also.” Acts 19:21

The life of an Evangelist carries forth many journeys stopping not for the anguish of deceit but the triumph of Truth spreading Charity- Jesus, as the Only Way to overcome the grave and find Life Eternal making every reason we breathe the silence of prayer as the intertwinement of God, Christ and the Spirit of Life called Holy always becoming One after the thoughts of petition excite the joy of living for them seeking the lost, lonely and languished as the reason we give our life to the deeds that overcome death’s door.

Paul ventured just like that spreading the Good News no matter the plight or spite others give to ignite fright others will live. It seems silly to me that others would allow untruths to create unrealistic situations that would garner a help seemingly good but allowing for laziness to rise around the hood where many of us stood growing up learning to have fun outside as we should not expecting to win instantaneously expecting gratification from the flash and flair of everything electronic. There is no hope for health when exercise becomes a thumb movement instead of seeking out the journey of Charity to clarify mind, body and spirit living love, faith and hope of liberty. Amen.

Power influence spread

When this became known to all the Jews and Greeks who lived in Ephesus, fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in great esteem. Many of those who had become believers came forward and openly acknowledged their former practices. Acts 19:17-18

He will receive blessings from the LORD, and justice from his saving God. Psalm 24:5

(Jesus) said, “I tell you truly, this poor widow put in more than all the rest; for those others have all made offerings from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has offered her whole livelihood.” Lk 21:3-4

How can you love the world and endure Salvation unless you repent and respond to Redemption as the Only Way to overcome. I know a man who I have been good friends with for many years. We used to “run” together as many may call it chasing a dream defamed by drugs and excess as I write to keep things clean for the little ears of the world’s call living I tell you in an unrealized freefall. We both lacked what we believe in Christ not allowing Him to guide our surrender completely until our Guide called on us both to become a believer to express what we failed to do before in Charity; Jesus!

We both came crawling out of a hole exposed by carelessness and excess reaping restitution unwanted seemingly undeserved yet truly earned in the confession of shame many fail to recognize as guilt ultimately calling on Jesus on our knees accepting the blame to become whole once again. It’s been a tough sight to see others in jail or homeless and frail. My good friend Tim has taken Charity to heart understanding God forgives us regardless if society does or not. We have both learned to call on the Name of Jesus openly acknowledging our former practices as wrong reveling Him Who is Right in every breath taken singing above the dungeon Jesus the Word of God in Song. Amen.

Exorcists Jewish Spirit evil recognizes not

Then some itinerant Jewish exorcists tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those with evil spirits, saying, “I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches.” When the seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish high priest, tried to do this, the evil spirit said to them in reply, “Jesus I recognize, Paul I know, but who are you?” The person with the evil spirit then sprang at them and subdued them all. He so overpowered them that they fled naked and wounded from that house. Acts 19:13-16

For the sake of my brothers and friends I say, “Peace be with you.” Ps 122:8

The leader born into power wants to harness supremacy to inflict their own rules of sprits evil many times displaying outright condemnation for the God of mercy rebuking all who come in the name of anyone not the Christ. Nothing in the world has His Power granted in the Foundation of Life to overcome environment’s excess, evil or erratic behavior except the Name of Jesus! Once we try and inflict our own agenda then God gives us lessons more frequently to wound you or make you run away naked from Truth.

It’s hard not to give this type of behavior unless you practice, pray and proclaim the Good News as the reason you live, think and breathe. I see it as a surrender some may take while others remake a mistake that has killed their soul so many times yet they are unable to relinquish until they pronounce the Name of Jesus! We have to call on Jesus like the dying crucified thief asking for and receiving forgiveness. Invoke the Name of Peace often asking for forgiveness in the smallest of things that tame the biggest of mistakes by His Name and Only His Name. Jesus! Call on Him with Me- Jesus! Amen.

Disparaged dumb disbelief

He entered the synagogue, and for three months debated boldly with persuasive arguments about the Kingdom of God. But when some in their obstinacy and disbelief disparaged the Way before the assembly, he withdrew and took his disciples with him and began to hold daily discussions in the lecture hall of Tyrannus. This continued for two years with the result that all the inhabitants of the province of Asia heard the Word of the Lord, Jews and Greeks alike. Acts 19:8-10

LORD, what is man that you take notice of him; the son of man that you think of him? Psalm 144:3

They can no longer die, for they are like angels; and they are the children of God because they are the ones who will rise. Luke 20:36

There is a beauty in finding God where you didn’t expect Him because you thought God wasn’t really watching you as the desires your heart beats for becomes evident in the obstinacy of refusing to hear any other Doctrine taking Christ as a Prophet not a King encouraging disbelief in the unwillingness to practice truly what we preach. Paul knew his road was filled with holes that can take a front end out carefully steering Christ’s Way around every risky hollow refusing to get stuck in the mud of egotism branding personality over Jesus as the know-it-all of a past penetrated only by true prostration.

We must get down on our knees often rallying around the Salvation God has given us in the beauty of Christ our LORD. We can find God within us by just asking Him to open your eyes to see what He sees reassuring others by Walking His Way worry free. I know, it’s hard to not worry about this or that or death or sickness or anything tragic yet God in Christ can instill such a surrender that your attitude might be different and obvious for others to see and feel as a Child of God where aching souls are naturally drawn to the calm evident in the smile of Salvation Rising Redemption the Author of goodwill. Amen.

(Paul) said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you became believers?” They answered him, “We have never even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” He said, “How were you baptized?” They replied, “With the baptism of John.” Paul then said, “John baptized with a baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the One who was to come after him, that is, in Jesus.” Acts 19:2-4

My soul is depressed; lift me up according to Your Word. Lead me from the way of deceit; favor me with Your Law. Psalm 119:28-29

They could find no way to accomplish their purpose because all the people were hanging on his words. Luke 19:48

Many of us can recall when a preacher, minister or priest gave the most enthralling sermon or witness that seemed to lite a fire in your soul that can’t be extinguished even though this event happened years ago where the Word of God hung in the air and followed you around maybe repeating a Scripture verse that to this day you can’t get out of your mind. The Letter to the Romans brings many to mind as well as the Ephesians where Paul reminds us to persevere. No matter the “dirty deed done cheap” or the spite we create in falsevity God will ask us to repent over-and-over again resting not on the laurels of laziness but the keeping of flames by maintaining the practice of His Word.

We may all feel depression if we forego the Truth of life to accept envy, greed and lust as crutches to hop along in life asking for immediate satisfaction instead of learning to take the time to practice, pray and proclaim the beauty of Christ’s hope, faith and love of His Release by His Charity. Here, we find the Holy Spirit beckoning us to live according to a purposeful surrender to establishing Works of Mercy always on the lookout to help feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, to welcome the stranger, visit the sick, visit the imprisoned and bury the dead. The Word you heard that hung in the air for you guides a loving obedience of living peace sharing freedom in Salvation. Amen.

Alexandria native Apollos the Jew

A Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, an eloquent speaker, arrived in Ephesus. He was an authority on the Scriptures. He had been instructed in the Way of the Lord and, with ardent spirit, spoke and taught accurately about Jesus, although he knew only the baptism of John. He began to speak boldly in the synagogue; but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the Way (of God) more accurately. Acts 18:24-26

He sends His Command to earth; His Word runs swiftly! Psalm 147:15

As He drew near, (Jesus) saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If this day you only knew what makes for peace—but now it is hidden from your eyes.” Luke 19:41-42

When you see an ardent spirit, you witness the fire of His love burning within a soul aching to share what they received when opening up to the Spirit of Truth; Jesus! Amen. I’ve watched an Apollos or two find this anointing by simply asking God to come into every thought, action and deed of everything Charity; Jesus! Amen. We fight this until we can fight no more resting on the imposed reality of His Dominion rebuking the elite who parade around acting like a child of Lucifer bearing horns performing rituals for the world to see and wonder without knowledge the secret indoctrination of a satanic Earth.

Once you begin to see the practice others instill in your daily discoveries, liking the Word of God will become a natural norm to your routine of prayer combining the Three P’s in proclaiming the peace made by the Christ hanging from a Cross. This made Jesus weep for humanity knowing the world will drag some to death wrapped in a perpetual pain of persuasion while the few will enter the Narrow Gate of Heaven by a confession of love, faith and hope of Redemption; again and always Jesus! Yes, God will make whatever you do in private visible in a judgement seat of mercy accepting a plea of grace that hung from a tree Rising on Day Three fulfilling all God Promised with Spirit’s ardent to live free. Poetic writing comes from His Spirit devoted God’s trustee. Amen.

Vow orderly doctrinaire 1 thru 9

Paul remained for quite some time, and after saying farewell to the brothers he sailed for Syria, together with Priscilla and Aquila. At Cenchreae he had his hair cut because he had taken a vow. Acts 18:18

To execute the judgments decreed for them— such is the glory of all God’s faithful. Hallelujah! Psalm 149:9

“Blessed is the king who comes in the Name of the Lord. Peace in heaven and glory in the highest.” Luke 19:38

Walking with Paul promotes a surrender God asks of us all yet most are unwilling because they feel it takes the adventure out of being an individual which I beg to differ seeing the obedience as the practice, prayer and proclamation of everything Charitable. To make Charity, Jesus, a part of everything you do does not make you unadventurous it draws you closer in a relationship with God where love, faith and hope becomes the very reason why many of us make a vow either cutting off our hair or I once knew a woman who stopped eating chocolate as vow when her child was healed from life-threatening illness. There are many reasons as our Father asks us as faithful servants of Truth.

Yes, many will try and cloud the Truth with sinful cord whips camouflaged as edible candy sweet and tempting allowing for instant gratification that keeps the flesh satisfied while stealing the necessary minerals and elements of health to rape your body of a life led to death forgoing Life Eternal our of jest. We simply want more than we are willing to give in all things good not noting the exploration God gives us to improve the lives of others many times by just being present grasping at nothing penetrating the very core pumping a heart with a soulistic commitment to remain devoted to the Divine. Amen.

But when Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews rose up together against Paul and brought him to the tribunal, saying, “This man is inducing people to worship God contrary to the Law.” Acts 18:12-13

We induce the love, faith and hope of Charity for our own souls by the practice, prayer and proclamation of He Who Saved the world in every thought, action and deed of Truth lived in the New Covenant of Love that strengthened every last Commandment hoping His Humanity will display courage, charisma and couth in living Redeemed. We like Paul will encounter the prejudice of our non-judged belief that every soul has the need to be hugged, honored and healed from any transgression be it the self-created waist of living without exercise as much as the lust we center on satisfying the greed of groping.

Giving praise to the Lord has taken a back seat to the strive of having more of the world driving avenues of gluttony looking for the next big thing be it fashion or accessories of the world’s excess we constantly look for the passing lanes of greed. Jesus relentlessly reminds us to give more than we take allowing us to realize His statement of taking away what we pile as more in a house stocked with extra shiny particulars of trinkets than a local Salvation Army. God asks of us to bring what we have first our best of every crop to the Table of the Lord be it the ability to share His Truth or the capacity to help others be a witness to everything Jesus! Amen. Goodwill grants the gift of support by persistence.

You I am with God assured

So he left there and went to a house belonging to a man named Titus Justus, a worshiper of God; his house was next to a synagogue. Crispus, the synagogue official, came to believe in the Lord along with his entire household, and many of the Corinthians who heard believed and were baptized. One night in a vision the Lord said to Paul, “Do not be afraid. Go on speaking, and do not be silent, for I am with you. No one will attack and harm you, for I have many people in this city.” He settled there for a year and a half and taught the Word of God among them. Acts 18:7-11

Therefore the wicked will not arise at the judgment, nor will sinners in the assembly of the just. Psalm 1:5

I see just under half complaining and over half still focused on bringing harmony to America. So many leaders of our past used prayer as a weapon not force that has included damaging police cars? America’s most powerful weapon has always been rooted in prayer. Nine out of ten Founders laid a foundation that seemingly is being ignored. Why? Well some may say it is the world pulling instant gratification to accomplish selfish needs or some may say there is no God and therefore I will make the Rules that shuns Truth? No matter the position about God a majority sees violence as just plain wrong yet puts out messages and responses of celebration?

God has been taken away from our children, our wives and our husbands by a ploy of diversity while the Establishment rapes our children’s future in greed. To grieve is to mourn the loss of life be it a baby a son kills in a womb extinguishing the right of grand-parenthood without seeing the death as a real life to mourn as much as the belief of Unity God presents to each and every soul snuffed out in the name of excessiveness or should I say expressiveness? The Rules God calls on has always given grace over grime allowing love to be kind turning the other cheek when we bump into people who appear to be blind? Equality has come full circle as humanity yet still struggles with oppression in ways of citizenship that encourages a person to take instead of give making wrong over right the way to live.

The Leaders of God agree that judgement of anyone, anytime and anywhere is wrong be it a lifestyle that seems to encourage death as much as the choice to kill legally? America to many are acting like a bunch of babies who didn’t get their way instead of giving and living respect for one another’s love, faith and hope of True Charity of sharing Life Eternal. Our world has focused on the here-and-now blind to the witness of Charity where loving thy neighbor as thy self attracts legal ramifications of seemingly being offended by Truth. Equality God has given as a Light that goes off in people to not rant or chanting religious tones but to admonish in acts of understanding be it a restaurant, school or public places not a soul should ever feel threatened to walk the streets of the world not just America.

What is seen as the need to make sure we are kept safe has been sensationalized as the right to protest. We conclude anger is a right to fight but for what the losing of Truth that America has called on the Lord once again openly and on our knees in private to see not a change that is temporary but a revolution of judging not the ways of a sinner but the ways of sin that causes death to freedom. Middle Eastern religions promote this type of hate over harmony wanting to extinguish anyone’s right to happiness unless they call on their god. Why have we ignored this? Do we feed the hands that will blow our brains to smithereens wearing a pack of explosives in the name of a god that by no means exudes from the earth herself as death only the promotion of life eternal.

Our great country calls on us all to pray as the weapon of love, faith and hope of treating each other as we will treat ourselves. This is the respect our new president calls on; freedom from religion where equality stems from living right in the wrongs of plights our world will always fight. Grieve for the babies dying each day grieve for the way our humanity is called to pray grieve for Truth humanity ignores and is taken away. The vision of equality has grown stronger now I dare to say because living God First was returned to the USA. Amen.

Paul surely wanted humanity to know how affordable living in Christ was detailed in every aspect of how God communicated with Prophets of Old coming to life as proofs God would send a Messiah who could do all things allowing death to occur for the purpose of overcoming fear of living as One with our Creator. This occurs in the obedient surrender we all place around the joys of life allowing not the naysayers of unexplainable Truth to coax you by the world of flash and flair not noticing the reviled opposition of Resurrection testifying to His Word by the love, faith and hope of Charity.

Here, there is no money involved unless you want to help another soul share the Love of God in ways of practice, prayer and proclamation to grant us all the wisdom and courage to share everything good in His Holy Name. A fellow Brother in Christ and Adjunct Professor Raymar Rodriguez of Finance at Miami-Dade College gives fiscal advice to people of all backgrounds including writing a book for the incarcerated or helping people afford their first home.
