Christians called first disciples

Then he went to Tarsus to look for Saul, and when he had found him he brought him to Antioch. For a whole year they met with the church and taught a large number of people, and it was in Antioch that the disciples were first called Christians. Acts 11:25-26

Serve the LORD with gladness. Psalm 100:2a

When the Lord saw her, he was moved with pity for her and said to her, “Do not weep.” Luke 7:13

Acts 11:25-26, Psalm 100 & Luke 7:13

“They will know we are Christians by our love” seems to come to mind when thinking of this term brought about in the midst of bring many people together no matter the color or creed to simply say love as the pureness of what God gives us in a moments notice. What many seem to deny is the instantaneous feeling of being One with God and His Son by the Spirit we call Holy.

We cannot reject our Savior because we can’t see Him thinking but arguably so as many has shared with the world; God is love in every aspect we as Americans cherish in Truth stating as God has always told us, judge not for thou not be judged giving what we wanted as men and women of faith to be free. Boy is that hard when people around the world want to kill your freedom of thought because of their religion. We’ve always known of the Crusades as we witness their own campaign to destroy the exact patriotism we feel for creating a country that respects all. Period. Amen.

Let’s pray this song of rejoicing written in 1968 by then-Catholic priest Peter R. Scholtes wanting to bring ALL Americans to their knees to love the Diversity of America FREE.
Dear Lord, we pray this for all who desire freedom;
“We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord
We are one in the Spirit, we are one in the Lord
And we pray that our unity will one day be restored
And they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love
Yes they’ll know we are Christians by our love. Yes they’ll know we are Christians by our love. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Number great held His Hand belief captured

There were some Cypriots and Cyrenians among them, however, who came to Antioch and began to speak to the Greeks as well, proclaiming the Lord Jesus. The Hand of the Lord was with them and a great number who believed turned to the Lord. The news about them reached the ears of the Church in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch. When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and encouraged them all to remain faithful to the Lord in firmness of heart, for he was a good man, filled with the Holy Spirit and faith. And a large number of people was added to the Lord. Acts 11:20-24

I do not conceal Your righteousness within my heart; I speak of Your loyalty and Your Salvation. Psalm 40:11

Jesus went with them, but when He was only a short distance from the house, the centurion sent friends to tell Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself, for I am not worthy to have You enter under my roof. Therefore, I did not consider myself worthy to come to You; but say the Word and let my servant be healed.” Luke 7:6-7

Acts 11:20-24, Psalm 40 & Luke 7:6-7

God’s grace was reaching more-and-more people gaining an angelic steam that rose above the lands surrounding Israel sharpening the knives of Salvation by the obedient surrender of men like Barnabas instilling the Light of Christ rejoicing in the Truth of Life Eternal through a revelation of faith, hope and love of Redemption. To remain faithful one must find a time daily to read the Word of God in practice searching the Spirit in prayer as you proclaim the Will of God no matter the cost no matter the strain.

God will come out of you in a beautiful grace-filled loyalty grasping your heart with the confidence of devout recognition just as the Centurion did in asking Jesus to heal his faithful servant. Your trusting of Jesus can heal the soul of you too and the others you are praying for by being faithful to His Word asking for and receiving forgiveness of past faults or ongoing battles of self desires of the flesh from fantasies formulated in staunch natures denying worthiness of His Presence under the roof our bodies call home. Amen.

Let us pray Lord instill in our souls the worthiness of accepting the forgiveness You give for Life Eternal in your Son we feel unworthy to come under our roof. Prayers for OHAM. We pray for the listeners of closerwalkmedia.com people like Doreen Moore of New Orleans. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God not hindered by Peter Christ Jesus furnished

The Spirit told me to accompany them without discriminating. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s house. He related to us how he had seen (the) angel standing in his house, saying, ‘Send someone to Joppa and summon Simon, who is called Peter, who will speak words to you by which you and all your household will be Saved.’ As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them as it had upon us at the beginning, and I remembered the Word of the Lord, how He had said, ‘John baptized with water but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ If then God gave them the same gift he gave to us when we came to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to be able to hinder God? Acts 11:12-17

I will pay my vows to the LORD in the presence of all His people. Ps 116:18

A good tree does not bear rotten fruit, nor does a rotten tree bear good fruit. Luke 6:43

Acts 11:12-17, Psalm 116 & Luke 6:43

Describing the effect Jesus had on people who had never experienced Him or His Way of allowing the Holy Spirit to come upon them made for the case of why Peter would even go into a house that Jews once found unclean as well as uncircumcised. The Law of the Covenant seemed to paralyze people into living a way of complete discrimination encouraging loathing over love making the reaction of God to be one of disgust, dislike and distrust until Jesus gave the Apostles a New Covenant of Worship that sits upon a Throne of His Purpose, His Passion and His Peace giving forgiveness forgoing folly.

The Jewish Community had not been able to see the nonjudgement God instilled in His People shown in Leviticus 19:15 by indicating patience not persecution by signaling to mankind a control of perverting justice through the wisdom of Moses who obviously had direct communication with God and His Purpose by saying, ‘Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.’ The Christ overcame that notion of judgment by reminding each to ‘judge not for thou not be judged’ as the beginning of His Covenant New with humanity. How can we prevent God from granting the Holy Spirit to anyone He pleases? We cannot. Amen.

Let us pray Lord we pray to not judge but admonish where necessary the behavior of the uncoothe. Prayers of healing for Dr. John. Uncircumcised house entered sleuth

Universal Utterings

Uncircumcised house entered sleuth

The apostles and the brothers who were in Judea heard that the Gentiles too had accepted the Word of God. So when Peter went up to Jerusalem the circumcised believers confronted him, saying, “You entered the house of uncircumcised people and ate with them.” Acts 11:1-3

Blessed the man who finds refuge in You, in their hearts are pilgrim roads. Psalm 84:6

And (Jesus) told them a parable, “Can a blind person guide a blind person? Will not both fall into a pit? No disciple is superior to the teacher; but when fully trained, every disciple will be like his teacher.” Luke 6:39-40

Acts 11:1-3, Psalm 84 & Luke 6:39-40

As previously noted, Peter noted in Acts 10:34 that there is no distinction between people for if you place God First in your thoughts, actions and deeds you too will be one to practice, pray and proclaim how the Word of God brings you to share faith, hope and love of Salvation. Peter put it this way, “In Truth, I see that God shows no partiality.” Here, God calls us to seek refuge only in Him not the world beckoning you to make harsh choices of selfish desires leading to excluding people as some even do in Church.

Sometimes you’ll find people who are selfishly running things in ministries not allowing many people of conviction to participate because they choose friends over followers making foes over folly whispering jealous thoughts over Jesus! Many aren’t trained by a teacher of Truth because they think they were chosen out of all because they are ready and willing to take the lead. They have bypassed the Teacher they should be listening to and make friends the stated case of education losing the respect of all. Today we pray they will notice in their heart that they choose disloyalty over dedication by reminding all again of Peter’s words from God, “In truth, I see that God shows no partiality.” Living a life of Christ is serving all no matter their belief no matter their stall. Amen.

Let us pray Lord In truth, we pray that all understand You LORD show no partiality to anyone but allow grace to bring peace to the faithful. Prayers of healing for Dr. John. Spirit Holy Seized Baptism Agreed

Universal Utterings
for September 8, 2016

Spirit Holy seized

While Peter was still speaking these things, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who were listening to the Word. The circumcised believers who had accompanied Peter were astounded that the gift of the holy Spirit should have been poured out on the Gentiles also, for they could hear them speaking in tongues and glorifying God. Then Peter responded, “Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing these people, who have received the holy Spirit even as we have?” He ordered them to be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ. Then they invited him to stay for a few days. Acts 10:44-49

I trust in your mercy. Grant my heart joy in your Salvation, I will sing to the LORD, for he has dealt bountifully with me! Psalm 13:6

She will bear a son and you are to name Him Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins. Matthew 1:21

Acts 10:44-49, Psalm 13 & Matthew 1:21

Looking back over your life you’ll come to know when and where you were when the Holy Spirit fell upon you in such a dramatic way that you felt on fire with the Zeal of God and His Son so much you spoke to stnagers about Jesus and began wearing vclothes that gave everyone an indication you had become Christ-centered. Then as time wore on you began allowing the world to pull you back into a routine of secularism and you felt lonely many times wondering why God had left you when indeed He will be with you forever.

What activates the Spirit of the Lord so Holy is my common theme at Universal Utterings by simply following the Three P’s of Christianity; Practice- Read your Bible daily and reflect in a one-on-one conversation with God, Prayer- enable your life to be inundated with calling on God First for everything and Proclaim- sharing the Word of God is important to establish better knowledge of handing off Redemption for in you is the calling of Christ in forgiving yourself as much as anyone who has upset you. Amen.

Let us pray Lord guide us with Your Spirit So Holy to share te redemption of sins forever. Prayers of healing for Dr. John. Judge God appointed His Guarantee

Universal Utterings

Judge God appointed His Guarantee

We are witnesses of all that (Jesus) did both in the country of the Jews and (in) Jerusalem. They put Him to death by hanging Him on a tree. This man God raised (on) the Third Day and granted that He be visible, not to all the people, but to us, the witnesses chosen by God in advance, who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead. He commissioned us to preach to the people and testify that He is the one appointed by God as judge of the living and the dead. To Him all the prophets bear witness, that everyone who believes in Him will receive forgiveness of sins through His Name. Acts 10:39-43

In the cause of Truth, meekness, and justice may your right hand show your wondrous deeds. Psalm 45:5

Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude and insult you, and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man. Lk 6:22

Acts 10:39-43, Psalm 45 & Luke 6:22

The world wants to see God yet many people seem to think we are unable to witness Him face-to-face because we think we are not worthy of what God expects from each and every one us encouraging lackadaisical attitudes of excess across all planes of human distinction. The God of faith, hope and love wants humanity to know His Mercy by the simple confession of mistrust in the windows of mankind’s soul to alleviate the pain of sin while encouraging a relationship of surrender to live the Works of Christ.

What we see is a fright in the eyes of every man, woman and child by the sensationalism our governments throw at us to relinquish the ties of spiritual necessity and place our dependence on Big Brother. You too can find Jesus at your bedside wanting more of you in practice becoming One with Him in reading your Bible daily making prayer the peace we accomplish “in the cause of Truth, meekness, and justice.” Sure you will be hated by the ignorant by a jealousy they are unwilling to admit in the hurl of insults as I remind us all today the Words of Jesus in a Gospel that gave us peace by persistent prayer. “Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude and insult you, and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man.” Amen.

Let us pray Lord give us peace when people hate in ignorance and spite of Life Eternal. Prayers of healing for Dr. John. Partiality none God is Truth for all

Then Peter proceeded to speak and said, “In Truth, I see that God shows no partiality. Rather, in every nation whoever fears Him and acts uprightly is acceptable to Him. You know the Word [that] He sent to the Israelites as He proclaimed peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all, what has happened all over Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached, how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and Power. He went about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. Acts 10:34-38

Hallelujah! Sing to the LORD a new song, His praise in the assembly of the faithful. Psalm 149:1

In those days (Jesus) departed to the mountain to pray, and He spent the night in prayer to God. Luke 6:12

Acts 10:34-38, Psalm 149 & Luke 6:12

Partiality is only achieved in a state of forgiveness and grace accomplished only in the practice of His Word not to fully understand the mystery but to live His Truth by unceasing prayer knowing proclamation comes naturally then as the desire to share Salvation becomes your love of His Will. Here, we find healing from His grace to heal the brokenhearted to comfort the lonely and languished as He gives you peace in the midst of a storm that many of us call out to saying, “Don’t tell me how big your storm is but tell me by the example of your life how big your God is to overcome strife of life.

Take Jesus as the song new praising faithfully every aspect your life represents in Him. We each do this in different ways but have the similar outcome; Bringing more souls to His Kingdom resting in His Arms of Life Eternal. Living for God First cannot be done without prayer as the weapon of choice so to speak for as Christ taught prayer should be the aspect you give your life to live His Purpose, His Passion and His Peace. Peter proclaimed this Truth in spreading the Gospel by forgoing favoritism by offering the same love God offers all in confessing His Son Jesus is the Lord of all. Amen.

Let us pray Lord teach us to show no partiality offering the same love of Life Eternal to anyone we meet. Prayers of healing for Dr. John. Robes dazzling he would grasp

And that is why I came without objection when sent for. May I ask, then, why you summoned me?” Cornelius replied, “Four days ago at this hour, three o’clock in the afternoon, I was at prayer in my house when suddenly a man in dazzling robes stood before me and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your almsgiving remembered before God. Send therefore to Joppa and summon Simon, who is called Peter. He is a guest in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.’ Acts 10:29-32

Like Cornelius, I’m sure many of you like me has experienced life-changing angelic wonders in different capacities day and night inspiring you to submit as the world pulls attaching to your hem lines like a weed finding a new home.

Cornelius had this revelation in supplication hearing the words, “Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your almsgiving remembered before God.” The point here is God hears the prayers of all his people acknowledging them in different ways keeping grace surrounding your paths no matter the location, language or love of unceasing prayer. Universal Utterings

Peter not Divinely perfected

On the following day he entered Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends. When Peter entered, Cornelius met him and, falling at his feet, paid him homage. Peter, however, raised him up, saying, “Get up. I myself am also a human being.” While he conversed with him, he went in and found many people gathered together and said to them, “You know that it is unlawful for a Jewish man to associate with, or visit, a Gentile, but God has shown me that I should not call any person profane or unclean.” Acts 10:24-28

Show Your Deeds (LORD) to Your servants, Your Glory to their children. Psalm 90:16

(Jesus said), If any one comes to Me without hating his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple. Matthew 14:26

Acts 10:24-28, Psalm 90 & Matthew 14:26

God has been telling generation-after-generation to call upon His New Covenant in His Son Jesus to alleviate the judgement we place on people just because of what they eat or wear dressing funny eating different delicacies that to us seems wrong in the right of conservatism or godly belief. Here, we place not the Will of God in our life but the hunt for excess in bowels of a world burping promiscuity as much as individualistic egoism.

Peter reminds Cornelius to pay homage to God in a kneeling state not humans such as he who regards all as equal in the eyes of God. The world took a very long time to admit this was necessary as God instructed yet unfollowed for centuries tormenting children and women by a controlling bigotry lived to satisfy uncouth behavior centered around sexual excess and not the Deeds of our Lord in placing God First. The life led for Christ is a life of nonjudgement loving God, His Son and the Holy Ghost more than the wives and excessive desires of human aspirations wanting them more than Life Eternal in the Mercy of Salvation. Amen.
