Then the eunuch said to Philip in reply, “I beg you, about whom is the prophet saying this? About himself, or about someone else?” Then Philip opened his mouth and, beginning with this scripture passage, he proclaimed Jesus to him. As they traveled along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Look, there is water. What is to prevent my being baptized?” Then he ordered the chariot to stop, and Philip and the eunuch both went down into the water, and he baptized him. Act 8:34-38

While those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You. May those who long for Your Salvation always say, “The LORD is great.” Psalm 40:17

There is a baptism with which I must be baptized, and how great is my anguish until it is accomplished! Do you think that I have come to establish peace on the earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. Lk 12:50-51

I pray and meditate daily on the strength God gives us to “proclaim Jesus” as the Son of our Divine Creator Who allowed death to occur so life could be lived abundantly by washing yourself clean in the waters of love, faith and hope of His Charity; Jesus! Amen! Jesus came to live a life of water constantly flowing through beings once thought to be so tough that nothing, not even constant water, would erode the constant attack of the world lustfully pursued as earth’s salvation created in the minds of men who for some reason want to dominate every aspect of the life of a woman unless overcome by Truth.

Woman once thought to be only the bearer of babies and boobs now is realized as God intended in all His glory proliferating grace in the act of living for His great Salvation rejoiced as the life-choice of true obedient surrender. Man dominated well still dominates the world yet God knows women have a very important task to live for the procreation of all humanity. Once recognized in your life, this peace, passion and purpose grants a calm, courage and commitment to live baptized in seeking forgiveness over-and-over again where division Christ creates pushed mankind to deny the sty in our eye seeing mayhem without His lingering Spirit to guide goodwill. Amen.

Chariot clown recognized good

Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” He replied, “How can I, unless someone instructs me?” So he invited Philip to get in and sit with him. This was the scripture passage he was reading: “Like a sheep he was led to the slaughter, and as a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he opened not his mouth. In (his) humiliation justice was denied him. Who will tell of his posterity? For his life is taken from the earth.” Acts 8:30-33

Restore to me the gladness of Your Salvation; uphold me with a willing spirit. Psalm 51:12

Jesus said, “Let the children come to Me, and do not prevent them; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

There are many Prophets of Old who foretold of a Messiah Who would be born here and what many thought would have been true humiliation there being scourged to pieces dripping blood no matter the place as most just sat and stared jeering on death as if a public requested dare. Isaiah was surely specific in his description of the Messiahs torture allowing us to see the denied justice Jesus would sit quietly through although I believe His response was the loudspeaker of humanity voicing the boom boom of Truth.

Philip explained this and more opening the Scriptures to someone eager to hear more about how love, faith and hope would bear the sins of mortality in a life-giving Charity the world has never seen before and will only surely witness in Spirit the expectation of Life Eternal by your confession to live Redeemed asked by God to share as the peace we all search for in the grips of the world. God will uphold you in Christ by this simple yet profound statement of being ever surrendered in Christ. Be as the child called to His side to rejoice in the Good News of God foiling not the goodwill of peace; free. Amen.

Chariot seated clown

Then the angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, “Get up and head south on the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza, the desert route.” So he got up and set out. Now there was an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of the Candace, that is, the queen of the Ethiopians, in charge of her entire treasury, who had come to Jerusalem to worship, and was returning home. Seated in his chariot, he was reading the prophet Isaiah. The Spirit said to Philip, “Go and join up with that chariot.” Acts 8:26-29

I will now arise,” says the LORD; “I will grant safety to whoever longs for it.” Psalm 12:6c

(Jesus) answered, “Not all can accept [this] Word, but only those to whom that is granted. Some are incapable of marriage because they were born so; some, because they were made so by others; some, because they have renounced marriage for the Sake of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever can accept this ought to accept it.” Matthew 19:11-12

Finding Jesus and the forgiveness we all crave for comes in times when whispers of God seems unnecessary yet felt as if He is unwilling to speak or give us a one-on-one communication. We want God to speak to us not realizing the elements of nature and of life choices bring about the very interaction we desire. This “Whisper of God” comes as poetry of your soul allowing encounters that seem risky yet relevant to the desire of God by the noticed breaths of air so fresh enlightening obedience formed in your surrender.

Philip today speaks to his soon to be baptized servant of Christ that began his life in slavery mutilated at birth to serve without distraction a queen who kept many like him faithful with positions of court without the ability to reproduce as her forced dominated seemingly accepted state of control. Longing for Him is the natural thing to feel just like this historical eunuch making notes of God’s whispers in the colors of transformation he received when baptized. Love. Love. Love. The created earth and its dominion are collaborated by God in a Marriage of Truth not convenience. He found Jesus and forgave the trespasses of preposterousness just like you can forgive too. Amen.

Gall bitter filled sorcerer impaired

“Repent of this wickedness of yours and pray to the Lord that, if possible, your intention may be forgiven. For I see that you are filled with bitter gall and are in the bonds of iniquity.” Simon said in reply, “Pray for me to the Lord, that nothing of what you have said may come upon me.” Acts 8:22-24

Attend, my people, to my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. Ps 78:1

Then Peter approaching asked Him, “Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus answered, “I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times.” Matthew 18:21-22

When we get use to feeding the magic into our mystical miraculous brain, humanity, like Simon, feel a pull from the world by the “iniquity” bonding our hearts to the bowels of society forgetting why forgiveness is given even though a gall so bitter expects you to vomit the sin we consume without rhyme or reason we keep feeding our brain sorcery to seek sin over Salvation. Simon found the grace of prayer that asked for more while he sought a false pretense of allowing the Holy Spirit to affect his practiced magical charm believing the gift would make him important or more so in his eyes to be called “great.”

Simon seemed to let the joy of attention be a guide he followed in selfishness forgoing the Father and His graces bestowed on the Israel nation. By denying what David placed into practice of seeking God First in all thoughts, actions and deeds of mercy. God forgives as forgiven unless you think magic will keep you alive if buried finding as Simon his ultimate resting place in Rome. Many may argue that Simon isn’t resting in death for his path of selfish desires took no heed in compassion in a quest of achieving a long-term goal of immortality. We can’t forgive when we seek motives selfish unless like my best friend after my wife in South Florida, finds 777 as his email reminder of Christ and the forgiveness we must give if we expect to know our Father’s Life Eternal. Amen.

Let us pray Lord keep us repented not seven times but seventy-seven times in You. Money seems to be the reason for everything in the world drawing us to the flickering lights of seduction offering instant riches, romances and ramparts to keep the less out and be overcome with the excess of buying life. God has given a life of opportunity to excel beyond our wildest imaginations obvious in the technology our world has grown to today instilling perfection in a light many think is made of green. We all know money can’t buy God as much as God can’t make you become His obedient servant to give instead of take yet He will see us all in our last exhale of choosing right over wrong.

Being upright is the model God asks of us in the celebration of His righteous compassionate graciousness where darkness becomes Light by the thought of grace you ignite. To follow Christ is the payment you will see in goodwill becoming a sensation, salutation and liberation for the souls placed in your path to encounter love, faith and hope of His Son’s Charity. Jesus must be followed to know the peace, passion and purpose of Salvation that finds honor from our Father by sharing your upright heart excluding financial gain for the giving us your shoes, shirt or service of Truth. Amen.

Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the Word of God, they sent them Peter and John, who went down and prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Spirit, for it had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had only been baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Acts 8:14-16

I will ponder Your Precepts and consider Your paths. Psalm 119:15

Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. And whoever receives one child such as this in My Name receives Me. Matthew 18:4-5

There is a need to know the Spirit so Holy has come upon you for in His Mystery we can all feel the presence of God by this sixth sense of freedom. Christ offers this liberty in the face of any danger where your heart rate may go up as the glory of God invigorates your body and soul to share the love, faith and hope of Charity; Jesus! We practice reading the Precepts of God allowing the natural state of prayer to envelope your thoughts, actions and deeds to do more in less by sharing Salvation received in the Spirit of Truth.

This obvious life neediness of bringing Fact, Certainty and Reality are so necessary to keep the fantasy life of self in check with the Grandeur of our Amazing Forgiving and Loving God by simply keeping prayer centered on a child-like demeanor of awe when you know God sees all while knowing we, humanity in all its desires, will struggle with sin until we begin to become like a child humble and meek yet filled with the confidence of Christ in the reception of Jesus in your on again off again bond with Truth. Amen.

Heaven Words Seven- Philip Converts magic Simon

A man named Simon used to practice magic in the city and astounded the people of Samaria, claiming to be someone great. They paid attention to him because he had astounded them by his magic for a long time, but once they began to believe Philip as he preached the good news about the Kingdom of God and the Name of Jesus Christ, men and women alike were baptized. Even Simon himself believed and, after being baptized, became devoted to Philip. Acts 8:9, 11-13c

Let them all praise the LORD’s Name, for His Name alone is exalted, His Majesty above earth and Heaven. Psalm 148:13

“(So) we may not offend them, go to the sea, drop in a hook, and take the first fish that comes up. Open its mouth and you will find a coin worth twice the temple tax. Give that to them for Me and for you.” Matthew 17:27

We can be captivated by the flash and flair of the magicians folly seeing something before nothing as the disappearance of one’s will as a trick of the world drawing the weak and willing to become duped by idolatry. The people of Samaria experienced the same in watching Simon astounding the citizens with magical warrants created in the human stature of limitations abound. Praising the LORD’s Name in Word and in Deed shows the thoughts of a devout soul in Philip arousing devotion of the Truth signaled in accepting the washing away of sin by the Baptism of love, faith and hope in Jesus!

“His Name alone is exalted, His Majesty above earth and Heaven.” Philip preached what Christ had anointed in Him to share a revealing Gospel of honor, harvest and health offending not the local magic man but enlightening his heart with something more precious than the coins he received as wages of his mystic entertainment. Jesus provides this payment of tax when required by the honor He placed at not offending the custom as much as He was harvesting souls for the glory and mercy of His Salvation by offering in death the Life you can lead Eternally in His grace of Redemption. Amen.

Let us pray Lord Christ’s Good News we share bring honor, harvest and health to the accepting souls of Salvation. Now those who had been scattered went about preaching the Word. Thus Philip went down to [the] city of Samaria and proclaimed the Messiah to them. With one accord, the crowds paid attention to what was said by Philip when they heard it and saw the signs he was doing. Acts 8:4-6

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD. Psalm 33:12a

For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be. Luke 12:34

There are many treasures across the world lying in deep hidden boxes or shelves collecting dust yet filled with Light that could never be extinguished. Place you heart in the Treasure of Truth mimicking the Word of God in thoughts, actions and deeds compelling others to find that peace, persistence and patience in proclaiming the Word of God as the Salvation only confessed sinners can obtain. Philip did signs of wonder by the very Word he shared in the act of serving the least or lavished seeing not status only the love of living for Redemption aching daily to witness Jesus in an obedient surrender.

Nations who call on the Lord find this peace but the ways of the world will call a nation away using voluptuous connotations to arouse child, women and man unknowingly allowing clothes that would have never been worn in the early days to be worn in any location private or public. You see the disrespect at Church as much as you see it in grocery stores or schools displaying the treasure their heart yearns for explaining the yearning was once called indiscretions but are now labeled as progressive or diverse. Laziness will prevail over hard work unless you place your fortunes with the Word of God as the Treasure of Truth, Tenaciousness and Teaching love, faith and hope of Christ’s Unending Charity. Life Eternal to those who profess, share and believe. Amen.

Now Saul was consenting to his execution. On that day, there broke out a severe persecution of the church in Jerusalem, and all were scattered throughout the countryside of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles. Devout men buried Stephen and made a loud lament over him. Saul, meanwhile, was trying to destroy the church; entering house after house and dragging out men and women, he handed them over for imprisonment. Acts 8:1-3

Rejoice in the LORD, you just, and give thanks at the remembrance of His Holiness. Psalm 97:12

Peter and his companions had been overcome by sleep, but becoming fully awake, they saw His Glory and the two men standing with Him. Luke 9:32

You’ll learn about a man who lived by Christ’s forgiveness. He was Liar turned Friar who’s name would be changed from Saul to Paul or should I say Saint Paul whose letter we’ll continue to find as the appealing connections to God, His Son and His Spirit so Holy! Amen. The Spirit has written many a poem about Paul from my hands as the mercy preached and practiced is the prayer we maintain constantly in placing God First. Nothing can take you away from this fact no matter the fault or reason for felony. The Glory of God will soon blind Saul forgiving his atrocious acts of persecution and death.

Saul turned the city upside down dragging Christians to their imprisonment killing off people of faith thinking he was making the original Covenant with God protected unable to see the progression of God’s Revelation throughout the history of the world and forgiver of humanity’s egotism. Some, God knows, must be strong to see and make the Words of Truth become the silence of strength in the answering of a world full of cons, cheats and crooks becoming everything in place of what the world will always be. Our Saul turned Paul found this we will soon discover as a Light of blinding Redemption healing past faults by a glory even Peter denied and regained in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Stephen stoned of his last breath

But they cried out in a loud voice, covered their ears, and rushed upon him together. They threw him out of the city, and began to stone him. The witnesses laid down their cloaks at the feet of a young man named Saul. As they were stoning Stephen, he called out, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he fell to his knees and cried out in a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them”; and when he said this, he fell asleep. Act 7:57-60

See now that I, I alone, am He, and there is no god besides Me. It is I who bring both death and life, I who inflict wounds and heal them, and from my hand no one can deliver. Deuteronomy 32:39

For the Son of Man will come with His angels in His Father’s glory, and then He will repay everyone according to his conduct. Matthew 16:27

We conclude our study of Chapter Seven of Acts finding the forgiveness God instills in we that are surrendered to the cause of freedom from sin hearing the last words of Stephen as the calling cry of God for all who confess Christ as their Savior: “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” People will fight to stay alive in the right to practice, pray and proclaim the One and Only True God. Many times we are unsure how to go about introducing someone to love, faith and hope of Charity no matter the place or situation.

You will see this in cities you travel to as much as the current place we all call home where people unbathed and many times intoxicated will refuse help as I for God implores you to smile on in Christ by His Exampled Forgiveness. Forgive and move on as Jesus reminds us to shake the dust of our feet at them and seek the peace in others welcome no matter how someone looks or smells finding a majority of those who are lost, lonely and languished need the smile you give as much as something cold to drink you may be carrying or the shoes on your feet. I give example today two of many I find on a daily basis in the roadmap of life seeking the beauty of giving what can be given again and again until the Light of Redemption comes on even if unnoticed.

I traveled to Atlanta this week to work with disabled veterans who either sit in a wheelchair without legs or arms or teeters on crutches and speaks of serving the ones who served for us and the freedom we feel here in the United States. I walked around finding many men and women who needed help in one way or another such as Mark who was sound asleep when noticed him sleeping sunburnt with arms peeling layer after layer of skin awakened by my call of love, “Are you thirsty my friend” as I handed him the fruit punch I was drinking.

He reached out silently grasping the cup with a nervous shake and began sucking on the straw. I asked, “What do you need?” Looking up at me he exclaims, “Oh please something to eat.” I said I would return leaving him to get a piece of pizza I had just enjoyed in Underground Atlanta. Returning with a drink and slice of pizza brought him to his feet in thanks. Asking his name I prayed with him and hugged him saying as I walked away, “God Bless You Mark.”

My last day in Atlanta had an early pick up call from a car service. The driver was waiting for traffic to pull out and proceed when a homeless one shoed man walked by limping. I looked at the driver saying, “Can you wait for one moment please?” I exited the car running to catch the man asking as I approached, “Hello brother do you need a pair of shoes?” He stopped looking at me with a laugh stating, “Are you kidding?”
I reached down and pulled off my shoes stating, “I’m a 10 1/2” handing them to him as I continued, “It looks like your size.” With a tears running and a smile on his face we instantly embraced holding one another with affection earnest in Christ.

I said, “Please pray with me” and I asked him his name. “Maurice,” he replied. We prayed and as I turned to leave I looked back at him stating, “God Bless You Maurice” and returned to the car in socks beginning a 7 AM day of walking through the airport singing godly songs in a dancing of peace. To act is to find grace in humble surrender knowing he needed the shoes more than I as the driver and I watched him leave finding a bounce in a step of new shoes in Charity’s Joy. Sharing Salvation is serving the Souls seen served. It’s easy in the trust we place in God as the reason we place God First for Life Eternal. Amen.

Spirit mine receive Jesus our Lord he yelled as Light

Them sin not hold against Lord they know not what is right
