The generous will be blessed, for they share their food with the poor. Proverbs 22:9

For God is the one who, for His good purpose, works in you both to desire and to work. Do everything without grumbling or questioning, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine like lights in the world, as you hold on to the word of life, so that my boast for the day of Christ may be that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. Philippians 2:13-16

Whoever does not carry his own Cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:27

Philippians 2:12-18, Proverbs 22:9-12 & Luke 14:25-33

The feeling of being blessed by God when we reach out to those in need seems to give us a grace I have learned to return seeking more of the lost or lonely not becoming complacent with current situations or Crosses I currently bear for His Truth. The objective in practicing, prayer and proclaiming is to give way into searching for the ones who need it the most. We can find in everyday normal routes of life’s routine to discover one or two in waiting wondering in secret if that “Jesus Freak” will ask them something or share something with them about the Word of God by reading Scripture to them.

The approach to God is wrapped in Him who gave His life on a Cross He asks us to imitate His Light of Salvation in the nonthreatening aspect of living love, hope and faith in the Truth of giving of self by far worth more than any amount of money. Paul had hoped he would not labor in vain by the Cross he bore for Jesus to be shared taking on every likeness and burden for the Sake of Salvation. We are all asked to accomplish this “without grumbling or questioning” in the midst of secular notions but by no means are we to become inactive in evangelizing the Cross that sets humanity free forever. Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray our Cross shines for You LORD in any location. Novena prayers day seven for Mike Goudelock (heart) and his wife Debra. We pray for my son Jeff. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD from Proverbs 22:12 I chant; “The eyes of the LORD watch over the knowledgeable, but He defeats the projects of the faithless.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Train the young in the way they should go; even when old, they will not swerve from it. Proverbs 22:6

He humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, even death on a Cross. Because of this, God greatly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the Name that is above every name, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:8-11

Philippians 2:5-11, Proverbs 22:5-8 & Luke 14:15-24

I often feel ashamed I didn’t give my children the example of Truth as I grew in selfish wants and addictive aspirations failing to give my nurslings the humility of Christ nailed to a Cross for our Salvation. Oh, I tried here and there but I never gave my all to God as an example for them to mimic or follow or even try and understand until death seemed the only option finding God in His Time now relishing these last 8 years as never being too late or too sorry. Many might argue the example now gains momentum in their hearts until one day they have to make their own choice of Salvation or hellish exploration bending at the knees by His Name or sightseeing in pride, lust and envy.

It is never too late to give God His due in every aspect your life has to offer. We all must stand up and give life our all whether one believes Jesus died for me and you for all humanity for all eternity. The life we give our young whether they are grown up or not is the life I will never be too sorry to confer allowing my practice, prayer and proclamation to the love, hope and faith we give all people as an example of Salvation’s claim. You will see His Name cause me to bow either by head or by waist His Truth I am eager to eternally taste and share by example forever I will adore for I cannot ignore but implore the confession “that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Amen.

Rich and poor have a common bond: the LORD is the maker of them all. The result of humility and fear of the LORD is riches, honor and life. Proverbs 22:2, 4

Do nothing out of selfishness or out of vainglory; rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves, each looking out not for his own interests, but [also] everyone for those of others. Philippians 2:3-4

Rather, when you hold a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind; blessed indeed will you be because of their inability to repay you. For you will be repaid at the Resurrection of the righteous. Lk 14:13-14

Proverbs 22:1-3, Philippians 2:1-4 & Luke 14:12-14

Awaking in a fever caused my head to hurt as chills stole my breath making me double over causing a damp slimy feeling to envelope my being. It’s funny how we call out to God in these instances seeking healing wrapped in pain. Why please forgive me for complaining aloud knowing it doesn’t matter what time I get up and pray and write to begin my day. Not a soul cares for the bond common resulting in humility where life’s honor sets us in our place whether we humbly submit or not.

It’s never easy to end selfishness brought to your knees by the Maker of us all sharing the grace of righteousness to the lonely or poor inviting often the lame feeding all the faith, hope and love of Charity’s blessing. When we learn to share the Truth we humbly submit to in correction as much as we give in to His Majesty to heal as much as set straight the inner workings of a human’s complexity. No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel prevail against the LORD. Proverbs 21:30

Hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us. For Christ, while we were still helpless, yet died at the appointed time for the ungodly. Romans 5:5-6

Everything that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and I will not reject anyone who comes to Me, because I came down from Heaven not to do My Own Will but the Will of the One Who sent Me. John 6:37-38

Romans 5:5-11, Proverbs 21:28-31 & John 6:37-40

The disappointment of hope comes from disrespecting the Creator’s Truth through acts of greed coupled with lust and envy. There is as much a need to practice what we pray in the proclamation of faith, hope and love of Charity that humanity will never understand or prevail against but must be joined with to experience True Salvation by Charity’s Creator. Jesus is the Charity we live for once ungodly transformed in the Spirit so Holy to become everything He asks us to return in the Works of Charity.

Just as the Father gave His Son on Calvary we too must give of ourselves to His needs of anyone spiritually less fortunate than you whether rich or poor hungry or lost cold or sick giving His mercy in a talk over a meal sharing blankets for the homeless appeals holding hands with love the dying must feel seeing your eyes personifying tears of peace to wash clean rejected not by Christ the King. Some are consumed with avarice all the day, but the just give unsparingly. Proverbs 21:26

Day of avarice consume many a grouch

Some are consumed with avarice all the day, but the just give unsparingly. Proverbs 21:26

Children, let no one deceive you. The person who acts in righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. Whoever sins belongs to the devil, because the devil has sinned from the beginning. Indeed, the Son of God was revealed to destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:7-8

Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Matthew 5:6

1 John 3:1-8, Proverbs 21:24-27 & Matthew 5:1-12A

The search for righteousness begins with opening your Bible in practice allowing the Holy Spirit to lead your every thought as you learn to give what God is asking for the glory of Truth. The consumption of life for the exaltation of self brings upon the soul salivation from sin employing works of the devil sparingly giving what you selfishly obtained. Once you experience the feeling of God’s grace and somewhat understand how to maintain this as the Will of God for your life, prayer becomes the natural state of speaking evoking God and His Son’s freedom from sin unafraid to share righteousness as the only real thing that takes away the need of living for anything else.

We find the material world is not necessities but obvious graces coming from our God-given journey of His Will. We can act as if giving isn’t the reason for faith, hope and love until the very soul withers away to dust void of anything obtained materially suffocated in the oven of Eternity’s wrath. Beware we are told by John to “let no one deceive you” finding Only in Christ what the world over in avarice behavior will try and take away and deceive you by. We must unsparingly give to the works of practice, prayer and proclamation employing the charitable acts of Truth we give back from the graces we hunger by from the only love our universe was created by. Not the Devil but God. Amen.

Those who guard mouth and tongue guard themselves from trouble. Proverbs 21:23

This is my prayer: that your love may increase ever more and more in knowledge and every kind of perception, to discern what is of value, so that you may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God. Philippians 1:9-11

Philippians 1:1-11, Proverbs 21:22-23 & Luke 14:1-6

How hard is it to keep your mouth shut? Think about this for a moment- talking and reacting becomes so natural for many it’s hard not to say something about something we see or scandalous we hear. Look into your life and see the moments God wants you to be silent but exceedingly loud by the grasp you take of His requested practice allowing the sand of an hour glass to fall without ceasing in prayer whether it is measuring time or not. The measure of perception allows this discernment to be taken naturally as God envelopes your soul to live His Will in faith, hope and love of Charity’s call.

You’ll feel this purpose for your life in the silence of your own heart as people hear the gladness that resonates in the path you lead in Truth. Conversationalist will come and go but the Word of God in action shows the obedient how to “discern what is of value” risking all for the Sake of the Gospel living Redeemed “for the glory and praise of God.” This is my prayer too: anyone who hears or reads the words I pray daily and chant for the Glory of God find Christ in their heart observing practice, prayer and proclamation as the Truth God asks of us all living confident for faith, hope and love of Charity. Maybe you have noticed that I always close with the statement; “I am a poet obedient to Christ, Evangelist Thomas Cruz-Wiggins, Spirit-led God-inspired Christ-fed living my life as Ephesians 6 versus 17-20 depicts.” Today you can draw the peace from my soul from Ephesians 6 versus ten through twenty as share the strength God has given to those who put on the Armor of God standing firm against “the tactics of the devil” struggling “not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.”

The struggles of life come from the darkness of sin where self situates a life of greed wanting too much too fast with too little preparation of this passage’s description of the “Armor of God” standing fast loins quenched by the Gospel of Peace “clothed with righteousness” for ALL circumstances good or bad. Life is never to deny the One and Only True God but preparing your speech in the practice of His Truth smiling in Charity’s grace returned to understand Eternal Living. This is why God anointed me as an evangelist and poet to have words ready for anyone in any situation at any location His Will takes my every step and breath strapped in the “Helmet of Salvation.” Amen.

The wicked serve as ransom for the just, and the faithless for the upright. Proverbs 21:18

Doing the Will of God from the heart, willingly serving the Lord and not human beings, knowing that each will be requited from the Lord for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free. Ephesians 6:6d-8

Someone asked Him, “Lord, will only a few people be saved?” He answered them, “Strive to enter through the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will attempt to enter but will not be strong enough.” Luke 13:23-24

Ephesians 6:1-9, Proverbs 21:16-19 & Luke 13:22-30

The slavery of today takes the soul while leaving the shell of humanity to evils once considered blasphemous as much as downright malicious sexual egocentric behavior.  No one seems to doubt this or bickers about the obvious swing in society’s desires over the Truth unlike the shift in human slavery the world over once embraced. Paul speaks of serving the LORD even to the slaves of the time equal to the slavery we experience today in the wants of self over God. We must look at our slaved involvements today and take the path of good to overcome self-slave desires to live free in the acts of doing good.

Good in the heart of family asking God First each moment of every waking hour to lead you in the righteousness of Truth. You can celebrate in the smallest of joys to the biggest of problems asking for His Will to help all enter the “narrow door” of Heaven by the faith, hope and love Paul reminds us in “doing the Will of God from the heart, willingly serving the Lord and not human beings” to share Salvation as the only blessing that brings about a calm where peace satisfies the heart and soul. The wicked will experience this in the plight of egotism ransoming you to the call of penance partaking of His goodwill. Amen.

Those who shut their ears to the cry of the poor will themselves call out and not be answered. Proverbs 21:13

So then you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the Holy Ones and members of the Household of God. Eph 2:19

Ephesians 2:19-22, Proverbs 21:13-15 & Luke 6:12-16

The strangers you encounter every day are the sojourners of life God’s Will has connected you to allowing you to call out in Christ seeking fellow citizens to worship and be unified but more importantly to find the ones who are lost and have no home of record in their heart where God has been pushed aside for greediness or lust. I find in most cases the lost poor souls of need simply aren’t educated on the Word of God lacking basic understandings of faith, hope and love of Charity. Again, I speak of Jesus and the Salvation God brought to the world through His Only Son when I write of Charity with a capital “C.” Charity of Christ is forgiveness driven by faith, hope and love.

We find the key ingredients of peace returned to the world joined to the “Holy Ones and members of the Household of God.” Our peace is secured in the grace we return to the humanity in the works we accomplish for “the cry of the poor.” Amen. Sometimes we try and do so much for others we forget the family we built to serve His Kingdom too. While girls and boys need their time, we must give God First to the family then into the lives of surrender no longer outsiders but sojourning members of the “Household of God.” The day will come for those who have shut their heart to practice, prayer and proclamation that God will not answer in your time but His Time Eternal. I for one want to be ready to float into a state of Eternal Grace in God’s Household of Salvation! Amen!

When scoffers are punished the naive become wise; when the wise succeed, they gain knowledge. Proverbs 21:11

Wise naïve become knowledge

When scoffers are punished the naive become wise; when the wise succeed, they gain knowledge. Proverbs 21:11

So be imitators of God, as beloved children, and live in love, as Christ loved us and handed himself over for us as a sacrificial offering to God for a fragrant aroma. Immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be mentioned among you, as is fitting among holy ones, no obscenity or silly or suggestive talk, which is out of place, but instead, thanksgiving. Ephesians 5:1-4

He was teaching in a synagogue on the Sabbath. And a woman was there who for eighteen years had been crippled by a spirit; she was bent over, completely incapable of standing erect. When Jesus saw her, He called to her and said, “Woman, you are set free of your infirmity.” Luke 13:10-12

Ephesians 4:32–5:8, Proverbs 21:9-12 & Luke 13:10-17

When we witness the ridiculers of faith, hope and love of Charity, we the unlearned gain wisdom from the knowledge we increase that overcomes the need to be selfish. We become the true imitators by our practice, prayer and proclamation living in love with Charity’s call allowing a sweet aroma to linger in your path usually drawing the unclean to the Sweet Smell of Salvation. We use the alluring fact and openly talk about thanksgiving giving God the credit for the sweetness His Truth has given you in the obedient surrender in freeing infirmities by the Odor of Love.

Just as the woman was freed from 18 years of bondage, you too can free yourself in a moment’s notice to become infirmity free living the advantage you’ve always knew you could wrap your heart and soul around as the mystery of Truth. Once you understand the Sweet Essence of Christ comes from giving back every grace you gain in the habit of living a righteous life, you’ll see the needs of strangers as neighbors of your own home realizing the world over is the fellow citizen of friendship unified as one humanity. My imitation lives in thanksgiving for every blessing and grace bestowed upon me set free to give as God has given forgiveness to live Redeemed. Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray we imitate You LORD. We pray for my son Jeff. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD from Proverbs 21:10 I chant; “The soul of the wicked desires evil; their neighbor finds no pity in their eyes.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
