Patriarchs followed the decision circumcision
Then he gave him the covenant of circumcision, and so he became the father of Isaac, and circumcised him on the eighth day, as Isaac did Jacob, and Jacob the twelve patriarchs. “And the patriarchs, jealous of Joseph, sold him into slavery in Egypt; but God was with him and rescued him from all his afflictions. He granted him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, who put him in charge of Egypt and [of] his entire household. Acts 7:8-10

There are sixty versus in Chapter Seven described by Stephen as the historical context of God bringing His love firsthand in allowing Jesus to find birth to death as a life obedient even to the point of demise on a Cross. Stephen shows no fear in trusting God would give him welcome to His Kingdom just as God rescued Joseph from his brother’s slavery making him in charge of a Kingdom he came upon as a sold piece of meat yet the wisdom of God “granted him favor” and he lived a life of seeking God not idols.
God is the same with you and me as He was with every other believer in the love, faith and hope of Charity that brings Life Eternal. We must all find the time to share good over evil risking nothing in a surrender that leads to Salvation. Stephen felt it and lived it as the Sower of Seeds that can’t be choked out in the Winds or Weeds of worry but lived in the Works of calling on God with a never ending thought process of goodwill. The life of Christ is the belief God will answer us at His Call to the other side. Amen.
