Rejoicing that they had been found worthy to suffer dishonor for the sake of the Name

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-6-2011

If it comes from God, you will not be able to destroy them; you may even find yourselves fighting against God. Acts 5:39a

Rejoicing that they had been found worthy to suffer dishonor for the sake of the Name. Acts 5:41b

This is truly the Prophet, the One Who is to come into the world. John 6:14b

Acts 5:34-42, Psalm 27 & John 6:1-15

The close of Acts 5 brings us to understand why the Sanhedrin released the Apostles allowing them to rejoice in dishonor they suffered “for the sake of the Name.” You see they showed what their service and testimony of living the Truth did to their life. It was an attitude of exactly what we experience today in a need of living your life for the Truth in Christ Jesus. The Sanhedrin named Gamaliel spoke a Truth about living in God that resounds in anyone’s heart to this very day; “If it comes from God, you will not be able to destroy them; you may even find yourselves fighting against God.” Acts 5:39 Obviously we come to understand by our sanctification, submission and service to our love of loving Christ that God is in control of everything and by His Word we live to accomplish faith, charity and love for Humanity.

The feeding of the 5000 today in John 6 is a miracle of communion with God as His Mighty Plan for all Eternity. There seems to be an argument in today’s world that what Jesus did in signs of miracles and healings was a long time ago and has no bearing on today’s life and circumstances. “That was then and this is now.” or “The world has changed and we must change with it.” There is over 47 different written accounts of Jesus’ miracles and healings and yet people still question. They wonder why they don’t see miracles in their life yet they still live a life of self.  If grace and miracles is what you desire then you are going about it all wrong. It is a relationship with Christ by your testimony of living that receives the graces and miracles of God. You must sanctify everything you do for His Glory. You must be willing to submit everything you have in life; your energy, your talents and your purpose for His Glory. You must live in complete service to a life of Christ for the greater love of loving the Father. Amen!

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to live a life of sanctification, submission and service to Your Plan of Truth for the greater glory of You. We pray today for safe travels to Gainesville and special intentions to accomplish the testimony of Truth. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

“Spirit led God inspired Christ fed”

Father’s Life Lived

They follow Me

Signs to see

Father is glorified

Truth to be

Fed the 5000

Reclined with them

Blessed the bread

Fish was fed

Five loaves total

Two fish indeed

Satisfied the multitude

Hunger Truth need

Fragments were gathered

Twelve baskets full

Came to give

Father’s Life Lived

About Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

My name is Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins. I first recognize Christ as my Savior in all things. I am married to my best friend and Soul-Mate in Christ, Antonia Cruz-Wiggins. I am a University of Florida graduate of Public Relations, a US Navy Veteran and a Montessori Elementary School Teacher. I love life and God's help of living it! I follow the Light of Christ in everything I do! I love writing poetry about the Lord and I create a new poem from each Scripture I discern in my daily mediations. You can almost follow the poem by looking at the readings for each day. I started sharing this small yet personal scripture study four years ago when one day I was reading the bible and the Holy Spirit moved me to share the verse with a group of about 40 Christian Men in my Emmaus Ministry who get together weekly to celebrate the Lord and talk about His Truth. Since then the number of people I share my study with has grown to over 650. I enjoy an open loving dialog about anything I write and I have strived to write what I know the Lord wants me to share steering clear of offending anyone’s spiritual beliefs because I share my work with people I meet in public when I strike up a conversation about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It took almost 2 years to begin writing what the Holy Spirit leads me to say. I believe that all Christians must unite as One Body of Christ’s Love to accomplish the joy of living with love, honor and respect. I reach out to Humanity to share His Salvation be it Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Episcopal or any other religion or belief. I seek to mirror His Compassion, His Simpleness, His Charity and His Love. While I am Catholic, I believe we must all unite in the Lord to become One Body in Christ to bring our children back to The Church. I am humbled to share my study with you. Please feel free to comment any time. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my Joy because I am a Disciple of His Truth. I am honored to share my Bible study with anyone you may recommend. As always, I remain, Yours in Christ, Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
