Wig’s Word of God Today 2-11-2011
The woman saw that the tree was good for food, pleasing to the eyes, and desirable for gaining wisdom. Genesis 3:6a
“Ephphatha!” (that is, “Be opened!”) Mark 7:34
Genesis 3:1-8, Psalm 32:1-2, 5, 6, 7 & Mark 7:31-37
Sometimes in life we are so busy we make quick choices and end up getting it all wrong by allowing other people to convince us of something we should not do. This is such the case in the Garden of Eden when the serpent tricks Eve into eating from the Tree of Knowledge and in doing so realizing they have been given the ability to see good and evil. Husbands should listen to their wives so you can’t blame Adam for doing what Eve wanted by eating the fruit but it’s when you allow other people to convince you to do something that will hurt you is where Satan wants you most.
Allow your eyes, your mind and your soul to experience “Ephphatha!” (that is, “Be opened!”) as Jesus does to the deaf man in Tyre and experience the love of loving Christ to its fullest. There is something lacking in your life and it’s affecting your judgment in living life free of worry. With all my heart and soul, I believe it is the lack of a relationship with Christ Jesus. Allow His Truth to guide your every thought and feel the freedom of living a life in Truth.
So we ask in prayer: My LORD and My God, we pray today for wisdom from reading Your Word and following Your commandments. We pray we have the courage to say no to Satan’s trickery and Yes to Christ’s Truth. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
God Bless,

Romans 8:28
Ashamed and God-fearing Hiding Behind a Tree
Cunning and ugly the serpent had his way
Adam and Eve followed only to lose their say
The fruit was delicious filling them with pride
God reached down and ended their wild ride
Now they lay naked and open for all to see
Ashamed and God-fearing hiding behind a tree
How can anyone hide from God they learned to be
His Power sees through anything so truly obviously
A deaf mute learned of His Power when Jesus spoke
His loving touch must have been a soothing stroke
Guided by His Father Christ made the blind see
And the deaf spoke clearly of God’s love for Humanity
