He is the Image of the Invisible God, the Firstborn of all creation. For in Him were created all things in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things were created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Colossians 1:15-17
The days will come, and when the Bridegroom is taken away from them, then they will fast in those days. Luke 5:35

We aren’t about to escape the evil God can exact on you even if as Job you are the most perfect person your mind can align you to feel. Our own mind equals our own feelings of surrender or surprise seeking satisfaction of selfish salvation. You know the kind we place our life’s desires around aching to be the best of having the most of… I’m more impressed with a homeless man who has nothing than a rich man having it all.
Obviously, it depends on the richness God blesses you with and how you use it for the greater good is surrender achieved. Surrender sin’s stupid search soothing souls seeking Salvation’s serenity. In this Sacrifice lived so long ago, humanity witnessed creation’s Firstborn whose invisible presence Powers all of creation holding humanity together by His Divine Will. In our fast of Salvation, we search as surrendered accepting the pleasantries of life while celebrating the usefulness of something unpleasant. Amen.
