What is desired of a person is fidelity; rather be poor than a liar. The fear of the LORD leads to life; one eats and sleeps free from any harm. Proverbs 19:22-23

Now the works of the flesh are obvious: immorality, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of fury, acts of selfishness, dissensions, factions, occasions of envy, drinking bouts, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God. In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Galatians 5:19-23

Galatians 5:18-25, Proverbs 19:22-25 & Luke 11:42-46

What a feeling to eat the fruits of the Spirit in every aspect of your life even in the depths of financial ruin where you think the loss of material wealth puts you unable to take care of yourself or a family in waiting. The Truth is you can survive by self-control allowing generosity as “one eats and sleeps free from any harm.” Someone from some created ministry or another just as much as the atheist who says there’s no God but feeds the hungry will help those in need giving where giving is needed most. The disgust we see by “works of the flesh” create obvious signs of brash display openly shedding clothes for skin making immorality overcome the inheritance of faithfulness in God’s Kingdom.

Usually you’ll see the rivalry works of the flesh created even in the ads of our goods wanting what we shouldn’t have or think of to parade around in public as a sorcery stealing our good judgment leading to drinking bouts and impure acts of disrespect. We disrespect the Covenant of Truth be it the marriage you said yes to or the future you sought in fidelity with the children we create by His love. His love allows you to rest safe and secure satisfied beyond worry to enjoy each fruit bounded not by law but encouraged in the act of Truth. The Kingdom of God is self-control, gentleness, faithfulness, generosity, kindness, patience, peace, joy always showing love. Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray Your fruits of the Spirit enlighten us to give what we receive. We pray for my son Jeff. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. LORD from Proverbs 19:25 I chant; “Beat a scoffer and the naive learn a lesson; rebuke the intelligent and they gain knowledge.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

About Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins

My name is Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins. I first recognize Christ as my Savior in all things. I am married to my best friend and Soul-Mate in Christ, Antonia Cruz-Wiggins. I am a University of Florida graduate of Public Relations, a US Navy Veteran and a Montessori Elementary School Teacher. I love life and God's help of living it! I follow the Light of Christ in everything I do! I love writing poetry about the Lord and I create a new poem from each Scripture I discern in my daily mediations. You can almost follow the poem by looking at the readings for each day. I started sharing this small yet personal scripture study four years ago when one day I was reading the bible and the Holy Spirit moved me to share the verse with a group of about 40 Christian Men in my Emmaus Ministry who get together weekly to celebrate the Lord and talk about His Truth. Since then the number of people I share my study with has grown to over 650. I enjoy an open loving dialog about anything I write and I have strived to write what I know the Lord wants me to share steering clear of offending anyone’s spiritual beliefs because I share my work with people I meet in public when I strike up a conversation about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It took almost 2 years to begin writing what the Holy Spirit leads me to say. I believe that all Christians must unite as One Body of Christ’s Love to accomplish the joy of living with love, honor and respect. I reach out to Humanity to share His Salvation be it Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Episcopal or any other religion or belief. I seek to mirror His Compassion, His Simpleness, His Charity and His Love. While I am Catholic, I believe we must all unite in the Lord to become One Body in Christ to bring our children back to The Church. I am humbled to share my study with you. Please feel free to comment any time. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is my Joy because I am a Disciple of His Truth. I am honored to share my Bible study with anyone you may recommend. As always, I remain, Yours in Christ, Thomas Joe Cruz-Wiggins
