How good and how pleasant it is, when brothers dwell together as one! There the LORD has decreed a blessing, life for evermore! Psalm 133:1, 3b

The centurion replied, ‘Sir, I am not worthy to have You under my roof; just give the Word and my servant will be cured.’ Matthew 8:8

Lamentations 2:2-19, Psalm 133 & Matthew 8:5-17

King David knew the importance of getting along as a community lifting his fellow citizens up in song to strengthen their solidarity and commitment to the king but more importantly to the One and Only True God. Unity was as struggle for the early communities of life just as much as they are today. You can see how David wants them to know they are just as blessed as the king can be speaking of holy oils or the blessing of dew to water the rainless crops.

One would recognize the importance of Biblical Hebrew using the word brothers as being unilateral across sexes including both male and female referring to them as the chosen children of Israel; one blood one community for all smarter yet reverent to the Source of Life in faith, hope and love proving the old adage, “two heads are better than one.” Jesus brought Three Heads to confer this reverence upon one making four persons to begin the process of absolute surrender God’s Decreed blessing, “life for evermore!” He made us worthy by Hanging on a Tree for you and for me. Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray we come together as One with you as well as the unity our world holds for Truth. Prayers for our daily radio show on Closer Walk Media dot com. Prayers for Kairos Prison Ministry of DCI#49. Novena day nine for the soul of Gregory Thomas Bishop. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. I will clothe its priests with Salvation; its devout shall shout for joy. Psalm 132:16

We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in Him. 1st John 4:16

Come to Me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for your selves. For My yoke is easy, and My burden light. Matthew 11:28-30

Deuteronomy 7:6-11, Psalm 132, First John 4:7-16 & Matthew 11:25-30

Many times we often wonder where rest can be found for your selves looking around corners that seem to be constant dead ends. You might ask yourself how a corner can be a dead end when it seems to take us to other locations when in fact it becomes the burdened labor we undertake each day guided not by the Word of God but by the words set in backdrops of the flash and flair of society’s addiction to more of self.

David prophesized that our priests will be covered in Salvation allowing us a constant yoke of ease that remains a part of your daily practice of living and loving the Word of God. I truly take to heart the notion of denying Jesus before others is the corners of selfish desires steered away from hearing Christ saying to the Father, “He has remained in Me as in You Father loving as our love can be.” When you remain in God, you learn to enjoy meekness as the humility of looking not for corners of self but for sharing the Salvation taught in the Word of God to give you heartfelt rest. Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray to be taught by Christ as we remain in Him proclaiming Salvation’s ring. Prayers for Closer Walk Media dot com listener’s intentions requests across the world. I have stilled my soul, Like a weaned child to its mother, weaned is my soul. Psalm 131:2

I have stilled my soul, Like a weaned child to its mother, weaned is my soul. Psalm 131:2

Not everyone who says to me, ‘LORD, LORD,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the Will of my Father in Heaven. Matthew 7:21

Second Kings 24:8-17, Psalm 131 & Matthew 7:21-29

I liken the Will of God to placing my soul in the stillness of His Truth weaned only by the Word of God living the practice, prayer and proclamation I openly show never denying Him proudly wearing Christ’s Face on a tie or the Holy Spirit a-top a Cross attached to my clothing that the Father has used as a Symbol for a life of faith, hope and love of charity for over 2000 years. I have learned to say that Jesus reminds us that we are to never deny Him or He will deny us before His Father in Heaven.

Today Jesus is reminding us again that living a life of selfish love denies the joy of Eternal Love where living your soul as Christ in charity means not the amount of money you give without the Works of Compassion we live in the sweat, blood and tears of Truth. As I carried my friend to his shady place under a tree yesterday, Jesus’ face was a beacon of Light looking up to Heaven from the bottom of my tie drawing eyes of wonder and spite that made me think of the song “I have a Light” that I began singing low in the silence of waiting to hear the preacher let others gather around. In the stillness of my soul was surrounded in the Will of my Father in Heaven. Amen.

A song of ascents. Of David. LORD, my heart is not proud; nor are my eyes haughty. I do not busy myself with great matters, with things too sublime for me. Psalm 131:1

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but underneath are ravenous wolves. By their fruits you will know them. Matthew 7:15-16a

Second Kings 22:8-13; 23:1-3, Psalm 131 & Matthew 7:15-20

Finding ourselves too busy for the small things that matter is more important than finding something that makes yourself busy with great matters. What matters today is laying to rest a friend who taught the people he knew how to give to the joy of life in a smile or a hug. A man who never failed to say “I love you” as he was saying goodbye. Wanting to give but in pain helping just about anyone who asked but just as much as he found in charity on his own infectious smile and hug.

I’ve had a nonstop prayer going for almost two years or more. I think and pray for him daily asking for peace and healing. In our hearts we wonder why someone so loving seems to go so fast. He’s my age my year my life in a college town where there’s not a one of us today that doesn’t consider themselves a Gator. Yes, a Gator. Gregory Thomas Bishop was a Gator as all of us tending to his race car casket today will be guiding him to rest as the spirit of Greg lingers in the minds and hearts of countless people here in Hogtown, Florida and across the world. Mysteries unknown we lay him to rest with Truth of Eternal Life worn proud always remembering God First. Amen.

The wonders of the LORD’s forgiveness allows such an escape from sin by the mercy our God gives to all by simply confessing the Truth and being sorry for the dilemma you may have caused from your selfishness. This should drive you to revere the LORD in all aspects of your life placing hope in His Word to guide your every thought, action and deed wrapping your soul in the midst of His Eternal Love.

David reminds us today to practice what we preach utilizing our faith, hope and love to search His Word daily forgoing not the act of prayer aloud loving reconciliation the LORD affords all to experience. Practice is something we all must do to abide in God’s Will to accomplish the charity we should all love to experience as daily participants of living an open proclamation of the One and Only Salvation from sin; Jesus! Second Kings 17:5-18, Psalm 129 & Matthew 7:1-5

The desires of the heart can draw you away from Truth attacking the very core of a life you lead in faith, hope and love experiencing wicked attacks of self-confidence by forgoing the act of prayer by the love of self-assurance. Oh, we surely must be self-confident as life calls us to be to survive and fulfill our inner destiny but I beg you to find self-assurance in God’s Will forgoing not the act of prayer or practice instilling in your soul the need to be self-assured in Him and Him alone.

Here, you’ll be cut from the ropes of the wicked visible and invisible to the naked eye that can judge you by your willingness to inspect other lives in daily conversations ruining your desire to practice let alone pray. Try not to inspect in thoughts but in gander the lives led around you by the need of people’s charity. Maybe this charity will be the conversation of someone lonely or maybe it’ll be a meal for someone hungry or just maybe it’ll be the measure of constant love you live by placing God First. Blessed are all who fear the LORD, and who walk in His Ways. Psalm 128:1

Blessed are all who fear the LORD, and who walk in His Ways. Psalm 128:1

Deuteronomy 8:2-16, Psalm 128, 1 Corinthians 10:16-17 & John 6:51-58

We can’t escape sin without the fear we give our Creator without taking every ounce of our being and give God every waking second of our love and desire to live in His Truth. We want to talk about Truth as if it’s an understanding void of accepting the consequences by a subconscious that lives Redeemed. There are so many examples of this one would be foolish to try and single them out. Maybe marriage is one topic or living as One without marriage is another reality speaks loud to those who live the sin a majority has begun to implore across humanity.

I know it’s hard for I lived the same and I for one look at forgiveness as the reason why God has Commanded us not to judge. I suppose the gossip of life breeds more sin by the lack of fearing God’s ultimate Judgment given by ONLY Him and not an ounce of another’s position or situation. Only God will Judge you and me teaching as we practice to embrace His Will where your life represents love. “Walk in His Ways” righteously living as God Commands. “Just so will the man be blessed who fears the LORD.” Psalm 128 describes the reverence of life to Truth is Eternal Unfailing Blessed. Destroyed foes shame stopped at his gate

Unless the LORD build(s) the house, they labor in vain who build. Unless the LORD guard the city, in vain does the guard keep watch. Psalm 127:1

If God so clothes the grass of the field, which grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will he not much more provide for you, O you of little faith? So do not worry and say, ‘What are we to eat?’ or ‘What are we to drink?’ or ‘What are we to wear?’ All these things the pagans seek. Your Heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the Kingdom (of God) and His Righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides. Do not worry about tomorrow; tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for a day is its own evil. Matthew 6:30-34

Second Chronicles 24:17-25, Psalm 127 & Matthew 6:24-34

To labor in vain exhausts energy of worry that can rob your soul of faith in the One and Only Creator of life the Deity felt and relished called God. Worry gives way to loss of appetite, attitude and allowance of tolerance, toughness and tenacity of practicing a labor loved and given by God. Look around you and feel the presence of God in every little detail where the birds in the sky sow not to gather but flourish in the design of life’s nourishments given unto to them as God gives unto you.

By seeking the Kingdom of God First, your labors are not in vain posing you to reap His Harvest destined only for His benefits. Your practice each day is guiding you to God’s Will of fulfillment living in the righteousness of Him active for the Kingdom First projects your prayers call out for His Purpose. If we can only learn to do this in our moment-by-moment lives daily placing worries at the Foot of the Cross enveloping Jesus as the Builder, the Protector and the Redeemer of all our life has to offer. This takes practice of reading your Bible daily forgoing not the aspect of prayer relishing the thoughts, actions and deeds of loving and living the treasure of Truth exuding from your heart as a Beacon of Christ.

Do good, LORD, to the good, to those who are upright of heart. Psalm 125:4

As the Living Father sent Me and I draw life from the Father, so whoever eats Me will also draw life from Me. This is the Bread which has come down from Heaven; it is not like the bread our ancestors ate: they are dead, but anyone who eats this Bread will live forever. John 6:57-58

Deuteronomy 8:2-3, 14-16, Psalm 125 & John 6:51-58

If we call out to God more in plight, then we are missing the communion of prayer to be One with His Spirit receiving the Good David instructs humanity to ask for and welcome as the grace we all crave but lack the surrender to call on each and every moment of our lives. Jesus came to the world to offer the Truth in the Life of the Spirit drawn from the Father as described by the faith, hope and love Jesus lived and died for so many years ago. If only we can be obedient to His Command of eating His flesh receiving His Body, Soul and Divinity of a Mystery explained once mentioned barely consumed daily.

To believe in the True Presence as discussed by Christ and described as existent in John 6:55, “For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink,” describes a Mystery none of us can understand but does allow us a daily “True” communion with Christ abiding in His Command to “live forever.” The callings on God in good gaining grace granting the upright His Communion exudes the Life of Christ by the love, faith and hope their life displays in the silent joys of prayers granting thoughts, actions and deeds to be a Light of obedient surrender.
