David never ignored Help Name LORD

Our help is in the Name of the LORD, the Maker of Heaven and earth. Psalm 124:8

Take care not to perform righteous deeds in order that people may see them; otherwise, you will have no recompense from your heavenly Father. When you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right is doing, so that your almsgiving may be secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you. Matthew 6:1, 3-4

Second Kings 2:1, 6-14, Psalm 124 & Matthew 6:1-6, 16-18

We wonder about almsgiving thinking we should give openly discussing what kind of deed we have accomplished to others in the name of self. Once we learn to give in the Name of the LORD by placing God First in everything we do, we accomplish alms giving in the consecrated way of being One with our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ! It is the feeling of faith, hope and love driven by the practice, prayer and proclamation of God’s Truth in every aspect your prayer life has to offer.

We have learned that reading your Bible takes practice knowing each verse as much as the same verse revisited over-and-over again touches your heart in a different way leading you in a prayer life that benefits from such practice encouraging your evangelization resulting in alms giving that resides in Him. Once we learn God wants us to live in Him by example, we find Charity in our soul wanting to give by the very thought of faith, hope and love of Truth. It is our True Helper His grace of love. Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray to give in Your Name expecting nothing in return. Prayers for a Marine named Jonathan. Show us favor, LORD, show us favor, for we have our fill of contempt. Our souls are more than sated with mockery from the insolent, with contempt from the arrogant. Psalm 123:3-4

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Heavenly Father, for He makes His sun rise on the bad and the good, and causes rain to fall on the just and the unjust. Matthew 5:43-45

First Kings 21:17-29, Psalm 123 & Matthew 5:43-48

Generation-after-generation has had their fill of contempt from the arrogant asking God over-and-over again to end the mockery of Truth by the evil inflicted in sin of taking the life of another as much as denying Him by living not the life of faith, hope and love. In Christ we have been asked to love our enemies praying fervently for those who persecute you and Christ’s peace, His Protection that emendates your very being with Charity that takes away all fear leaving you in peace.

Will death fall upon the world disintegrating by the whisk of God’s breath sending our planet into another dimension? We look out at the sky and see only as far as the eye can see but imagine the endless and vast feeling of knowing a favor we breathe and enjoy even in the midst of appeared persecution. God does make the rain fall on the good and the bad asking us to leave judgment at Heaven’s Door. Here, we find Salvation to unworthily enter after even years of denial to ask for and receive living righteously for God praying for the unjust who give good a bad name. Amen.

Praying for peace never a spiteful dare

For the sake of my brothers and friends I say, “Peace be with you.” For the sake of the House of the LORD, our God, I pray for your good. Psalm 122:8-9

You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I say to you, offer no resistance to one who is evil. When someone strikes you on (your) right cheek, turn the other one to him as well. Matthew 5:38-39

First Kings 21:1-16, Psalm 122 & Matthew 5:38-42

We find it hard to accept the Truth knowing as my mother might say, “the Truth hurts,” when it comes to living up to reality. We have even a tougher time saying no to evil for in its lure of excess or instant gratification sin draws humanity even more to the core of destruction. I remember reading one time about a saint who said his obedience and love of Christ was accepted no matter the difficulties that lie ahead once he made the decision to give his all to placing God First and living for the Salvation of Jesus.

There will always be a lure to striking back when affected by overzealous individuals who steal something God has asked you to let go of and not resist accepting with faith, hope and love as your guide to any and all charity you share with no expectations of a return. To offer more seems such an insult but to give as God instructs brings about souls to Truth where being docile isn’t a show of weakness but a show of power that will silence rudeness in a twinkle of an eye sheepishly grinning no matter the pain. Amen.

We ask in prayer. Dear LORD, we pray to accept all no matter the difficulty. Prayers for a Marine named Jonathan. I like to think my soul rests in the palm of His Hand eternally guarded from evil removed from ways I mended with God in my appointed time living with His Spirit of Truth in the Name of Forgiveness.

When we finally see we are truly unworthy, we can find favor in the mending of our ways daily in practice humming psalms and living in peace. We all have to face Truth eventually where the mending of our heart’s desire will encourage your works while guarding your soul. LORD, deliver my soul from lying lips, from a treacherous tongue. Ps 120:2

“Again you have heard that it was said to your ancestors, ‘Do not take a false oath, but make good to the Lord all that you vow.’ Let your ‘Yes’ mean ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No’ mean ‘No.’ Anything more is from the evil one. Matthew 5:33, 37

First Kings 19:19-21, Psalm 120 & Matthew 5:33-37

There will always be people who will want to live their life in a lie many times seemingly bringing you upon their fallacies without a moment’s notice to prepare yourself for the consequences that will soon follow. We can step aside in the Name of Truth recognizing the events as detrimental to the life of faith, hope and love. I think that’s the reason why I love living righteous for God as God so instructs knowing Truth trumps reason allowing respect, regard and reputation to live in honor of love.

This is a life of practice performing only for God’s use in every aspect life has to offer. Life is given freedom to choose leaving not dishonor with the people you interact with on a daily basis but to let them see joy in your heart by the peace you feel from living in Christ’s Salvation. Maybe that’s singing a low tune or repeating a particular Scripture during the day. “Do not take a false oath, but make good to the Lord all that you vow.” Admire God First bestowing honor maintaining character for Truth. We naturally want to listen to the world’s hearsay for it is in what we hear others say that we are drawn to witness life’s consequences from risks one takes achieving triumph increasing temptation tasting desires of the heart. We especially want to hear what famous people think, say or do because somehow they are different than you and me succeeding where we failed hoping in glory instead of seeking and knowing grace.

King David basked in the glory of God in and out of the Temple area singing in precessions that glorified God in all things sharing the grace God illuminates the world with. We must give God credit for all instances seeking grace living not as a gamble. By placing your trust in God you can see the success of Truth by the determination to become your heart’s desire seeing more in His Light than without it. His mercy for us is strong; the faithfulness of the LORD is forever. Hallelujah! Psalm 117:2

Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these Commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever obeys and teaches these Commandments will be called greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Matthew 5:19

Acts 11:21-26; 13:1-3, Psalm 117 & Matthew 5:17-19

We act upon a mercy that lasts forever! We live for the faithfulness of Truth God provides forever! There is nothing any of us can do to provide a complete understanding of His Mystery that He simply asks us to obey to live in a complete state of grace by rebuking the evil one’s desires of selfishness of fleeting gratification by the broken promises your life represents. The consecration of one’s life is not the shame you experience in the darkness of sin but the open proclamation of God in every circumstance you can ever imagine your life to represent.

To live unashamed of Christ is to live with Christ in every thought, action and deed. Oh, this doesn’t mean you’re not going to get mad or experience anxiety about running late or not being able to satisfy other people’s requests. On the contrary, God reminds us His love is “forever” by the Light He gave to the world from the Cross of Redemption that allows forgiveness to be recognized as the very Light we are to admire and live by all of humanity glorifying our Heavenly Father living His deeds of mercy. First Kings 17:7-16, Psalm 116 & Matthew 5:13-16

Many of us have felt the urgency to call out to God asking for rescue finding more than a safety with the Truth. Maybe you were caught in a whirlwind of addiction or maybe you had a major health concern that sapped every ounce of energy from your soul making you lay in a state of helplessness. No matter the circumstance we as King David can relate to the need of rescue. Even from the smallest of daily routines to the biggest decision of our lives we must be willing to call out to God in practice grasping His Word daily as we speak to Him in prayer openly offering proclamation eternally.

When we are in trouble, we call out to God but when we give our all to the Father we call out to Him constantly whether feeling ill or just sick-and-tired of feeling nothing for I believe all humanity aches to know God and the delight of His Salvation. There is a need for obedience in righteousness as provided to each by God’s Rescue where finding ourselves “helpless” is indeed a feeling of grace when swooped away from the runaway train as much as the whisper of evil’s selfish desires of the flesh finding no faith in fantasy’s folly. I share His Rescue of Christ by thinking of Him constantly relating everything I do in His Name whether in private or public my passion is Truth. Amen.
