I praise the Word of God; I trust in God, I do not fear. What can mere flesh do to me? Psalm 56:5

Nebuchadnezzar exclaimed, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who sent his angel to deliver the servants that trusted in Him; they disobeyed the royal command and yielded their bodies rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.” Daniel 3:95

Daniel 3:14-95, Psalm 56 & John 8:31-42

What trust and determination to endure the pain of death in a fiery perish that the number seven rides high along the measures of intensity where three men of faith exclaimed Daniel 3:17-18, “If our God, whom we serve, can save us from the white-hot furnace and from your hands, O king, may He save us! But even if He will not, you should know, O king, that we will not serve your god or worship the golden statue which you set up.”

The king was so furious Daniel writes that he ordered the furnace to be heated seven-times its hottest norm of incinerating anything in an instant. We gather from the story the king would describe a fourth person dancing amongst the unbound men as the angel misting a cool layer of protection around each of them. They were safe by the Hand of God delivered as you by trusting the Truth as three go free to believe. Believe my friends God does set you free by His Word to trust in faith, hope and love of charity. Amen.

Righteous trust never fails for nothin

But you, God, will bring them down to the pit of destruction. These bloodthirsty liars will not live half their days, but I put my trust in You. Psalm 55:24

He said to them, “You belong to what is below, I belong to what is Above. You belong to this world, but I do not belong to this world. That is why I told you that you will die in your sins. For if you do not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.” John 8:23-24

Numbers 21:4-9, Psalm 55 & John 8:21-30

We are reminded today we will die in our sins by our lack of acknowledging the One and Only True God. David called upon the LORD to exact judgment asking they be laid in a pit of destruction for the evil ones conspiring against him were nothing more than bloodthirsty liars trusting only in the sin they create by the tongues of deceit spewing false accusations of envy. Many will see your peace as a reason to disrupt your harmony spitting these same lies to try and force you to stumble in their sin.

Find the belief it takes to call on the LORD constantly relying not on the words of mere mortals but that of the Word of God we faithfully turn to each and every day to practice, pray and preach the Good News of Salvation. The reason we trust the “I AM” of the world is to live and know forgiveness as Forgiveness lives and feeds off of you. Without pardon grace can be no more. Without Reconciliation blessing cannot be accomplished through us for as one wise pastor said recently, “God won’t do a miracle that He can use you to accomplish for Him.” Amen.

Rescued defense faithfulness evil protection-Psalm 54

Strangers have risen against me; the ruthless seek my life; they do not keep God before them. Psalm 54:5

When they continued asking Him, He straightened up and said to them, “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” John 8:7

Daniel 13:1-62, Psalm 54 & John 8:1-11

Keeping God before you requires a proactive stance of thinking of His Truth constantly allowing not the ways of the world of living in sin to affect you even if it’s just a stone’s throw away. Knowing sin is the separation from your life-line to God allows your actions to speak as if words came pouring out of your life without words rising in the air. Maybe as you walk into a mall instead of complaining about the trash you see you should pick it up. Maybe as you leave the mall you’ll hear a young lady talking to friends say, “What the hell is Palm Sunday?” And you’ll speak up and deliver a small response that’ll make them think of peace and honor of the Salivation’s Call in Jesus Christ.

The toughest thing to do is see obnoxious behavior rise up around you without exacting revenge of retaliation for even when strangers rise up God asks us to inform by sharing our practice extending prayer in the proclamation of His forgiveness to know faith, hope and love. We can’t throw the stones of judgment for the stones already line our shoes from sin’s acknowledgment falling out only by the confession of sin’s participation. We must admit and move on looking not down at the one flashing sin in your face but lifting them in prayer by actions of example of love not hate honor not insult teaching the Truth in practice, prayer and proclamation of Redemption’s peace. Amen.

Universal Utterings for 4-6-2014

No person discerning no God seeking crowds- Psalm 53

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They act corruptly and practice injustice; there is none that does good. Psalm 53:2

For if you live according to the flesh, you will die, but if by the spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. Romans 8:13

When Jesus heard this he said, “This illness is not to end in death, but is for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” John 11:4

Ezekiel 37:12-14, Psalm 53, Romans 8:8-13 & John 11:1-45

Jesus time-and-time again attempted to calm the fear of us mere mortals understanding by the Power of God the New Covenant God was establishing on humanity to give them life in the Spirit as One with our Father to abide in faith strengthening our hope enveloping every part of our life with love. We are frightened of death because we know not of the Spirit for we crave what the flesh craves not breathing in the Spirit by our practice, prayer and proclamation. We must learn to not be afraid of speaking to anyone, anywhere or anytime abiding what the Spirit asks of us in sharing Salvation.

I love sharing my experiences as driven by God in the Spirit each and every morning when I take my beginning waking hours with God asking Him to remain with me throughout the day ready to discuss with anyone the beauty of God’s grace of the Christ Who gives me peace by His Purpose. I may be in absolute civilian clothes and drawn to a man as I was the other day that shined the face of Christ in a simple ball cap. I literally lost my breath with joy as I approach him in grocery store parking lot reading the words “Jesus is my Boss” on his head extending my hand expressing the same. We spoke of Jesus praying together openly sharing equally the need to evangelize candidly to encourage this generation to love Truth.

I asked him if he would share with his congregation the Kairos Prison Ministry I’m leading this summer as I continue my recruiting of men of faith or lack thereof to establish the joy of sharing Christ’s love. Kairos is known as “God’s Special Time” which could not be a better way of explaining what Kairos is when going behind the walls of life’s mistakes. Guilty or innocent as we are known to find out occurs we just let God be God as we present the Truth of Community. We give them God as they beam the Name of Christ. We share how to share asking them to practice, pray and proclaim in groups as Disciples of Christ. You too can help the lifer (one sentenced to life) feeling dead in the flesh to become alive for Eternal Living in the Spirit. As God forgives, so we must teach they must forgive themselves to live forgiven. Kairos will lift you as much as the prisoners in the Spirit. Please email me if God gives you the courage to join. Evil is what glory your life truly spans

Why do you glory in what is evil, you who are mighty by the mercy of God? Psalm 52:3

Jeremiah 11:18-20, Psalm 52 & John 7:40-53

We learn in Psalm 52 that those who take pleasure in being arrogant because they are wealthy from power obtained abilities not from their own merits but the strength and power that only originated from God. Obviously, when we find them falling from such gloating our hearts become gladdened and our bodies find the fortitude to find more in God’s Truth to accomplish works that builds upon their failure. Redemption is more than seeing your enemy fall; Redemption is seeing your enemy repent. While we may find pleasure in seeing the evil be cast away, I beckon us to ask ourselves as Jesus did what can we do to share Salvation with the egotistical so they become builders of the Kingdom of God?

Yes, the arrogant will continue to run the world under the guise of doing what is right for the common man. The shift of good and evil seems to be riding a wave of excess caused from instantaneous gratification. Somehow someway there will be less take and more giving by the world by a sense of accomplishment and not handouts but by a common sense of work ethics and not laziness by wisdom garnered from living in Truth. The world will shift back-n-forth until punishment from the world’s gloating and excess will explode into Restoration as God sees fit. As the after effects of such an explosion sets in, we will find people who used wealth in service as well as the lowest of the lows the people who will rebuild from the fruits of the wicked life of excess. Amen.

Long days thinking deceits God will reprimand

Good and right you ignore

Lying evil you seek to implore

Tongue deceitful you laughingly adore

Uprooted by God struck down your life’s door

Fear by the righteous will eternally ensue

Laughing a reaction the righteous will do

As the evil of abundance shows obviously through

Powerful wickedness no refuge in God did they prove

Salvation gladness restored teaching the wicked to know

I will teach the wicked Your Ways, that sinners may return to You. Ps 51:15

Jesus cried out in the temple area as He was teaching and said, “You know Me and also know where I am from. Yet I did not come on My own, but the One who sent Me, whom you do not know, is True. I know Him, because I am from Him, and He sent Me. John 7:28-29

Wisdom 2:1, 12-22, Psalm 51 & John 7:1-2, 10, 25-30

How long had I wallowed in the bowels of sin until I too came to know our LORD and Savoir Jesus Christ shedding my worries for belief allowing my preparation to share the Good News of Salvation. God asks us all to be the teacher of His Son’s New Covenant of Love that wiped out sacrifices for libations in practice, prayer and proclamation to live in His desired Will for all in charity. The type of charity I speak of daily where the less fortunate are roused by the Truth you touch their soul with and sustained by knowing He Who Saved the world.

We can’t change the world in an instant as God can change yours by the amending of your thoughts, actions and deeds in this same instant to methodically change a heart one soul at a time. This consecration of your life can help save some lost child of God just by a sticker on your car to the flag waving in your yard beckoning all to live a life of faith, hope and love of practice, prayer and preaching. Be encouraged to read your Bible every day as God instructs. Be encouraged to pray unceasingly over everything you do in thinking preparing your action in word and in deed. What an amazing grace to live to a life of teaching the wicked to love over hate to give instead of taking to live repentant  and contrite. Amen.

Pretender will tattle their sacrifice lame

The God of gods, the LORD, has spoken and summoned the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting. Psalm 50:1

You do not have His Word remaining in you, because you do not believe in the One whom He has sent. You search the Scriptures, because you think you have Eternal Life through them; even they testify on My behalf. How can you believe, when you accept praise from one another and do not seek the praise that comes from the only God? John 5: 38-39, 44

Exodus 32:7-14, Psalm 50 & John 5:31-47

Without belief in the One and Only True God then you have no life of Truth accepting folly for fame instead of searching for Spirit to remain sane. Yes, I see God as True sanity allowing for paleness in forgiveness lifting us over pain. I know it is hard for the 21st Century to identify with the Old Testament but we must realize the first books of the Bible describe the coming of God’s Only Son as the liberation God intended for such a weak being He created to be strong in the Wonder of God.

Here, we can seek the praise of mere mortals or worship the God of faith, hope and love of charity’s Truth. Today God continues to ask us to search the Scriptures finding each time more guidance and strength to overcome and occupy the Omnipotence of His Creation. He asks us to testify to this Truth by our practice, prayer and preaching of surrender to the One and Only Authentic Eternal Life received by professing Christ is Savior and LORD that produces praise from God in graces bestowed in His Time. Amen.

Corruption Pit will be their home

My mouth shall speak words of wisdom, my heart shall offer insights. Psalm 49:4

I cannot do anything on My own; I judge as I hear, and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own Will but the Will of the One who sent Me. John 5:30

Isaiah 49:8-15, Psalm 49 & John 5:17-30

The insights of the world are fleeting and full of pride where the discernment of Truth is wisdom taking practice to make what God considers perfect. I know, not a soul can become perfect only God, right? God asks us to be perfect as He is perfect allowing for inadequacies by the forgiveness He has always given humanity but we have failed to accept or acknowledge. The Truth does hurt but tolerance allows for goodwill to triumph over inconsistencies of self for there is not a one of us who can say we give our all to God all the time.

Somewhere along the line we fail in the needs of God as a witness who takes action of self lacking zealous attachment to Truth’s call of faith, hope and love of charity. Just as we witness a Pope getting down on his knees to confess the sins of a leader we too should get down on our knees and ask God for the forgiveness of arrogance, jealousy or greed leading to a lack of works by the laziness our minds create in the lack of practice to create perfection. This is what God asks of all: practice what you preach to forgive as to be forgiven. Amen.

Death leads us predictable

Like your Name, O God, so is Your praise to the ends of the earth. Your Right Hand is fully victorious. Psalm 48:11

Ezekiel 47:1-9, 12, Psalm 48 & John 5:1-3, 5-16

We want to think our surroundings are invincible just as David thought the holy city of Zion would withstand all enemies. The psalm describes that the city was once thought to be unconquerable inviting the world to worship the One and Only True God of all by the Power He depicts in conquering all adversaries. Here, we find the Truth by God’s Own Design allowing free will to circumvent if but a short time the Divine Will of all humanity.

Ultimately, we are all going to feel His Right Hand “fully victorious” in the breath we push out last from the depths of a soul completing the cycle of His Providence. Whether you want to believe it or not, God owns you and every breath you take for His Truth or your own misguided selfishness. We will either praise His Name or spite His fortune for the empty pockets of shame seeking not faith, hope and love but self, greed and lust of exclusivity.

I’ve learned to listen to the breaths of souls with admiration of growth lost in the excess of such selfishness. I know how each moment in life from beginning to end affects the next breath we take for the love of Truth or lack thereof. To listen and to smile offering hope by the faith I share for Salvation. To know there is no fault in abandonment by children affected but a prayerful opportunity to practice, pray and proclaim Charity’s love of Eternal Living in Truth. Amen.

Exalted by His Mighty Hand

All you peoples, clap your hands; shout to God with joyful cries. For the LORD, the Most High, is to be feared, the Great King over all the earth. Psalm 47:2-3

Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will not believe.” The royal official said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.” Jesus said to him, “You may go; your son will live.” The man believed what Jesus said to him and left. John 4:48-50

Isaiah 65:17-21, Psalm 47 & John 4:43-54

I’m feeling lost today confessing the need to take care of some business I’ve so long ago should have done. The business at hand as many may say is taking care of God in the Light of His Way not His day for His day rings loud every second of every stray thought that comes our way. Unite with Him in claps of “joyful cries” as we sing to the Most High the wonders in our eyes that abide until the day we die.

Psalm 47 is a walk back in time where court writers hear the king whine as they dine in believing God is Sublime. The beauty of God is in every little molecule we see in our midst that creates the desire we can’t resist is the sign we blindly ignore as we shut the Eternal door to Heaven allowing God to become something of a bore. The sign we want He will never give for we can’t believe the beauty you already see unable to concur in retreat. We shout our fear of God in the astonishment of signs we know we Heavenly live abiding in the wonder of grace we practice, pray and proclaim to give. Amen.
