Action through Christ’s charitable proclamation of service by love.

Through Him [then] let us continually offer God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that confess His Name. Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have; God is pleased by sacrifices of that kind. Hebrews 13: 15-16

His heart was moved with pity for them, for they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things. Mark 6:34b

Hebrews 13:15-17, 20-21, Psalm 23 & Mark 6:30-34

When I think of God’s grace, I think of Christ and how “His heart was moved with pity for them” as He displays in my heart the desire to exhibit charity in every thought, action and deed I pursue living for love of sacrifice neglecting excess for the righteousness of purity. I know what He has taught me is true forgiveness living in Truth knowing Him continually embracing a state of holiness. Many Saints will describe their journey from sin to Salvation as living in a state of Christ to love the joy of being holy. They first and foremost practiced by reading their Bible daily if not several times a day. In the midst of their Bible Study, they would pray offering sacrifice and praise continually (yes it can be done) to the Father of Mercy through the Prince of Peace. Most Saints were good orators but many displayed holiness in obedience to God not in words but action through Christ’s charitable proclamation of service by love.

Here we find the ever humble Christ Who from His knees taught humanity how to practice sacrifice and praise by the knowledge of God’s Word learning every day His Words of His Gospel as described in Luke 4:21, “Today this scripture passage is fulfilled in your hearing.” Here we find Christ teaching us how to pray to the Father of all unafraid to instigate prayer aloud anytime, anyplace and anywhere asking complete strangers to join you. Here we find Christ teaching us to “confess His Name” in proclaiming the Gospel to every living thing in every nook and cranny God’s amazing world has to visit. Please don’t neglect the act of service in the midst of confusing choices blinding parents and child alike from the act of purity to embrace Christ’s love. The difficult choices are going to be made to overcome sin in liberty, libation and lust by offering sacrifice and praise sharing more than financial ability but the God-given energy to practice, pray and proclaim the Truth of God’s love by charity. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today we continually offer sacrifice and praise in the midst of our confusing choices as a Child of God. Praying for the Emmaus Team of South Carolina and Harvard IL. Praying for Kairos Prison Ministry. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. Greg Bishop, stay strong in Christ we pray. Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels. Hebrews 13:2

Remember your leaders who spoke the Word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:7-8

Hebrews 13:1-8, Psalm 27 & Mark 6:14-29

We are enlightened with a fact that many of us know already but seem to forget in the times of lost selfish desires pleasing not the Spirit of Truth but fanning the flames of corrupt lust; “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” What a pleasure it is to know Jesus’ Death on a Cross wasn’t on a one time wrong in society’s square but an infinite washing of humanity’s sin since the beginning of time when God flung the stars from His fingertips twinkling the skies with vast beauty. This knowledge alone should captivate our lives with the desire to practice, pray and preach the Good News Jesus conquered sin with dispelling any notions of how real God is by the questions in our heart.

We have proof ladies and gentlemen- proof that allows you and me to live in faith, hope and love of Christ’s charity to give. Stop and think about the people you encounter on a daily basis in your avenues of life; an elderly lady sitting by herself, a homeless person holding a sign needing help or the man digging cans out of a trashcan. They smell of life’s knocks and bad choices but they are angelic beings of God’s grace who may be the angel that is entertained in love. When I look back at the leaders and evangelizers of Christ’s Truth these last 2000 years, I see the men and women who I desire to imitate the faith they lived for an outcome of peace by practice, prayer and proclaiming the love of charity. A charity of giving not taking helping not hurting loving not hating granting forgiveness by being a Child of God; the imitator of faith, hope and love. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today we can imitate Saints of old who lived Your Son’s Gospel of Truth. Praying for the Emmaus Team of South Carolina and Harvard IL. Praying for Kairos Prison Ministry. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. We pray for Greg Bishop’s healing. We pray for a child needing direction and a family losing work. Prayers of thanks for Marco helping out in prayers. LORD, help us lead lives of Truth. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Oh Sacrament Most Holy by Marian Grace at St Joseph Catholic Church

Amazing song and amazing gift from God: The Sacraments. What does it mean to “encounter God”? Why is God so specific? And why did Jesus have to be Baptized?   How can the communion wafer turn in to the Body of Christ?  You mean I can be forgiven for all the things I’ve done?  Focus on relating the Sacraments to every day life. Look for my series on “Searching the Sacraments” soon. God Bless. Thomas

Adhering to Christian Teaching of living with access to God.

See that you do not reject the One who speaks. For if they did not escape when they refused the one who warned them on earth, how much more in our case if we turn away from the One who warns from Heaven. Hebrews 12:25

So they went off and preached repentance. Mark 6:12

Hebrews 12:18-26, Psalm 48 & Mark 6:7-13

We listen to tales of sprinkled blood taking on the contrast between Christ and Abel who in Old Testament instruction Abel was killed by his brother Cain and his blood wailed from the earth for vengeance versus Christ’s Blood opening the Way to Heaven for sprinkling on everyone allowing mankind to understand by more eloquent speaking the Truth of Love in Forgivingness. We are also asked today to compare the Mosaic and New Covenant guiding us to “not reject the one who speaks” adhering to Christian Teaching of living with access to God directly through Jesus Christ Who aligns our thought, mind and spirit to God’s Word in faith, hope and love.

Once told to fear God and Divine punishment we are now given faith, hope and charity by Christ’s New Covenant of Love. Like the Twelve Christ first sent off to “preach repentance,” we too should obey the Risen Christ for as noted in today’s teaching in Hebrews it is a direr sin to reject Christ than the word of Moses. The Secular world will draw Christians away from the faith to find lust, greed and envy to replace the Everlasting Kingdom of God learning one day the judgment God will be levy against those who reject His Son’s Truth. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to always adhere to Your Son’s Gospel of Truth. Praying for the Emmaus Team of South Carolina and Harvard IL. Praying for Kairos Prison Ministry. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. We pray for Greg Bishop’s healing. LORD, give us focus in Satan’s distractions. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Living for God takes a discipline you must be committed to for life.

At the time, all discipline seems a cause not for joy but for pain, yet later it brings the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who are trained by it. Hebrews 12:11

He was amazed at their lack of faith. Mark 6:1-6

Hebrews 12:4-7, 11-15, Psalm 103 & Mark 6:1-6

We awake today in the message of discipline asking us to endure the pain rejoicing in “the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who are trained by it.” I often wonder where our world would be without discipline to guide us and lead us in faith, hope and love. The resounding choice of free will may cause some to wince in pain for in the discipline they recall the accomplishment of a desired goal in life took patience, planning and purpose allowing our free will to become God’s Will.

Well, just as an athlete uses discipline to win a gold medal in the Olympics you too can use discipline in the surrender God requires to live in His grace. Living for God takes a discipline you must be committed to for life searching for service to accomplish charity in thought, action and deed. You may think we can ‘t place God in everything we do, right? I mean discipline in the LORD is separate- a Sunday kind of thing?

The LORD reminds us to live in Him constantly not attempting to hide in depravity allowing His Word to guide your prayer causing a desire to share, search and succumb to the Gospel of Life to live, laugh and love. You will come to a place in life where your love of God will cause you to be “amazed” at the “lack of faith” in people you meet for in your heart resounds the grace God intends all mankind to encounter and maintain by practice, prayer and preaching. Here lies the discipline our LORD asks of us each day. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to use discipline to live in Your Will. Praying for the Emmaus Team of South Carolina and Harvard IL. Praying for Kairos Prison Ministry. The “peaceful fruit of righteousness” is lived by the grace God bestows.

At the time, all discipline seems a cause not for joy but for pain, yet later it brings the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who are trained by it. Hebrews 12:11

And they ridiculed him. Mark 5:40a

Hebrews 12:1-12, Psalm 22 & Mark 5:21-43

A life of Christ is expressed to us in the faith of men and women of the Old Testament orchestrated by the Architect Himself; Christ. “Since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the Leader and Perfecter of faith.” Hebrews 12:1-2b Jesus endured the Cross of Sin for all mankind providing us the courage and discipline to accomplish all through He Who strengthens us allowing us to receive and enjoy the graces promised of faith, hope and love in Eternal Life.

A feeling we should never be ashamed of even in the midst of ridicule and torment as Christ did living up to the Cross we must endure to finish the race eclipsed by His grace. Although Jesus was being ridiculed by the people who thought He could not raise the dead He showered His grace upon the girl and her family as the Father’s love of humanity. While we may never be deserving of God’s gift of grace, it comes from the Truth of God, which is love.

In the midst of unbelief, we must allow those around us to experience God’s grace in a life free of sin for sin will prevent us from receiving His grace in our defiance but we will never stop God from giving grace that resides in our souls. God Himself desires an intimacy with each of us much like a lover who gives themselves more freely to accomplish a closer union undefiled by sin but sealed in totality by God’s grace of Truth. The “peaceful fruit of righteousness” is lived by the grace God bestowed “to those who are trained by it.” Practice, Pray and Preach. Amen.

God had foreseen something better for us, so that without us they should not be made Perfect. Hebrews 11:40

Go home to your family and announce to them all that the LORD in His pity has done for you. Mark 5:40

Hebrews 11:32-40, Psalm 31 & Mark 5:1-20

We come to understand faith is obtained in the pleasing of God’s desire to remain in communion with us allowing reward by surrender experiencing graces because we lay effort to living the life of trust, truancy and Truth allowing charity to transcend our life’s core. The events of the Old Testament describe a faith expressing a resolved desire unchanged by any obstacles laying a foundation for what it does to us not what it is.

We naturally want to know what the experience is to feel like allowing the blessings to be desired from Him delivering confirmation the offering He promises will eventually come to pass. We must trust in the midst of free will living His Truth by surrender. We must go home to our families “and announce to them all that the LORD in His pity has done for you” escaping not thought of any transmission of life walked in faith. Amen.

Years and years ago I allowed a woman to conflict my judgment and terminate a pregnancy out of selfish thoughtless reasons that to this day I regret will all my heart and soul. One of the reasons I pray at a local abortion clinic on Saturday mornings hoping and witnessing parents change their minds. My lost sister or brother didn’t have a chance to run or play think or pray stand up or fall down for it was lost not by “its own interests” while the parents “brood over injury” depicting lack of readiness for reasons that turn my stomach sour in an instant to this day. I want no child or adult for that matter to experience such an act for there is no love where death is initiated by foregoing the responsibility to love in patience binding passion in kindness over jealousy void of love.

The love you created is patient forming a Child of God for His Purpose allowing kindness to stomp out jealousy growing into a person of His Truth. There is nothing of value unless formed by love’s journey of God’s Truth. In ridding a pregnancy God sees no love returned in killing what He Himself “formed” and dedicated even prior to conception. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I dedicated you.” God reminds us today love overcomes all immoral acts rejoicing in the Truth established and maintained by His Son’s Gospel of Love. I know in my heart there is forgiveness for me by His Son’s Redemptive death on a Cross and I pray daily for the “Lost Child of Christ’s Soul” envisioning a day mankind will celebrate life over death self-sacrifice over self-centeredness love over jealousy. Amen.

God is no longer the Sunday visit but the moment-by-moment commitment God intended humanity to be.

Free those who through fear of death had been subject to slavery all their life. Hebrews 2:15

The child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon Him. Luke 2:40

Malachi 3:1-4, Psalm 24, Hebrews 2:14-18 & Luke 2:22-40

Today I lay welcome to the Emmaus Men’s group of January 2013 who by now two weeks after are wondering what it’ll take in their lives to be “filled with wisdom” after an amazing heart-felt weekend of God’s Holy Spirit anointing them as Children of God to overcome and “free those who through fear of death had been subject to slavery all their life.” Now you’ve come to realize how real Jesus Christ can be in your life and what it means to truly serve His people. The people you live with just as much as the people you work with or encounter in your daily lives where angels deliver God’s graces beyond your wildest imaginations.

I like many of you craved God even more after my Emmaus and I learned to accomplish the Will of God first and foremost by practice of reading your Bible daily. Don’t be afraid to open The Word or take a Scriptural course on God’s Truth as you learn to make it a “practice” in your life. We learned early in life we must practice what we want to master and understand it even more. In your practice we learn how to pray to God continually offering up your life as a testimony of having faith, sharing hope and giving love. God is no longer the Sunday visit but the moment-by-moment commitment God intended humanity to be.

Here we learn to experience God’s Divine Will in charity by serving to overcome all fear and live surrendered proclaiming the Good News not so much by words but by literal unembellished repentance relishing the act of faith, the act of hope and the act of love to know the act of charity. Don’t be fooled into thinking charity means money. Nope. It means love. It means God’s hands and feet to share the Gospel serving others more than yourself.

Finding the Way to serve God every second of our lives means you practice, pray and as importantly proclaim not so much by words but by living surrendered to living in Truth. Don’t separate the grace you feel from God by living in sin. Find a way to practice, pray and proclaim and you too will be “filled with wisdom” steering your life, your family and your friends to know Jesus Christ as your guide. I pray we can do this together here in brevity as I share the Bible and Scripture poetry daily between four and six am. Share your prayer requests and seek spiritual counseling to find “the favor of God” in the midst of turmoil as well as celebration and live as God intended: “Free.” Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to be free of slavery seeking Your favor in Truth. Welcome prayers to the new Emmaus Brothers of St Louis January 2013. Praying for the Emmaus Team of South Carolina. Praying for Kairos Prison Ministry. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. We pray for Greg Bishop’s healing. LORD, we thank You for giving us love and guiding us to charity. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Finding endurance to live God’s Will comes from eliminating the underbrush of distractions focusing solely on Christ’s Cross to eliminate fatigue and encourage the get-up-and-go of springing forward to read your Bible in practice daily, pray about everything in your life and talk to people by proclaiming Christ’s Gospel of Love. Here we find the Will of God by making a conscious choice to love whatever we are doing in God’s Name. I think it frightens us to become Holy but this escape into Truth allows every facet of your life to made known for God’s Purpose.

God did not create humanity to lounge constantly as depicted in the animated film “Wall E,” but to work fervently to survive and praise God’s gift of Eternal Life no matter your job, your pleasure or your charity accomplishing His Divine Will of love. Jesus described us growing in Him as the smallest of seed but once sown, watered and pruned we become a large sturdy oak sheltering a teaching train of thought to live Righteous for the Father of all sharing the Only Son’s Redemption from sin to know and live Charity’s love.

Last night a homeless man my wife and I were talking to describe this endurance as knowing the Holy Spirit within you. He said, “The Holy Spirit is better than any drug I’ve ever taken.” “Amen,” I replied as my wife and I prayed with him after buying him some dinner. You will find endurance to live the Will of God by practice, prayer and preaching attaining Holiness you should relish with all your heart and soul. You never have to remind yourself to place “God First” if you live the endurance of loving charity by faith, hope and love of Christ’s Salivation of Truth. Amen.

We ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today we live Your endurance growing into a tree of Christ’s Truth. Praying for the Emmaus Team of South Carolina. Praying for Kairos Prison Ministry. Prayers for Dr. Cruz-Peluca. We pray for Greg Bishop’s healing. LORD, thank You for guiding our confusion. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Yours in Christ,

The knowledge of God’s Kingdom– Mark 4:26-38

Jesus speaking to all

How it is in the Kingdom’s call?

Scatter a seed tended to fall

Not know how the plant grows tall

On its own accord it sets a pace

Yielding fruit of grain enjoying bread’s taste

Wielded by the sickle when ripe by grace

The harvest has come who trust with faith

Jesus stated the Kingdom can be compared to what?

Is there a parable we can use for such?

Like a mustard seed smaller than a nut

Sown in the ground springs forward becoming larger than a hut

Large branches will grow to shade many birds

Birds of the sky cry aloud in the leaves as herds

He only spoke in many such parables to them

Disciples learn in private the Truth to begin

The knowledge of God’s Kingdom comes from within
