(Are you an) “Apostle of Jesus Christ for the sake of the faith of God’s chosen ones and the recognition of religious truth”(?) Titus 1:1b

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-12-2012

Are you a Veteran Slave of God?

(Are you an) “Apostle of Jesus Christ for the sake of the faith of God’s chosen ones and the recognition of religious truth”(?) Titus 1:1b

My true child in our common faith: grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior. Titus 1:4b

If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he wrongs you seven times in one day and returns to you seven times saying, ‘I am sorry,’ you should forgive him. Luke 17:3-4

Titus 1:1-9, Psalm 24 & Luke 17:1-6

I dare to say you are unless you are “a slave of God” as Paul was who brought about Christ’s Gospel by the sweat of his brow literally walking for miles the True Apostle of God’s Only Son. I know, many of you ask; “Isn’t being a slave to God a really over the top?” Or is it? When you live in faith, charity and love, you abide in the Spirit of God’s Truth to share the only Salvation offered to mankind ridding you of the guilt, gluttony and greed of living without God. It’s a simple choice “in the hope of Eternal Life that God, Who does not lie, promised before time began, Who indeed at the proper time revealed His Word in the Proclamation with which I was entrusted by the command of God our Savior.” Titus 1:2-3

Jesus reminds us today that we are sinners who are going to sin but He asks us to seek forgiveness as well as give forgiveness to those who wrong you. I am troubled people can’t see God’s Truth because they are blinded by the high-beam lights of greed and gluttony masking your heart pounding with guilt that seems everlasting. “I’m in too deep” may come the little voice of selfish desires. We must “rebuke him” as Jesus commands to the little voice and the one who wrongs you or attempts to teach you wrong doctrine in any way bidding instead to dim their lights of confusion to become enriched in a dialogue of God’s Truth. We must “admonish them sharply, so that they may be sound in the faith.” I beg of us all to live Paul’s description of a True Apostle as “hospitable, a lover of goodness, temperate, just, holy, and self-controlled, holding fast to the True Message as taught so that he will be able both to exhort with sound doctrine and to refute opponents. For there are also many rebels, idle talkers and deceivers.”

Today we celebrate the day of all Military Veterans who stood guard over the American Freedom we all live and enjoy each and every moment of every day. I remember so vividly the smells and lines of enlisting to seeing the snow along the shores of the Great Lakes Boot Camp facility I’d soon be marching in and shoveling the very ice that fell in our paths. I used to think one day I’d look back and reflect the oceans waves I sat for hours on deck in a beautiful night sky moving across the Atlantic Ocean to see the wonders of the Mediterranean I’ll never forget. I’ll never forget crossing the “Line of Death” in 1986 where the now dead leader of Libya once established in the Gulf of Sidra. The ever present feeling of General Quarters being called in the middle of the night to protect our freedom a million miles away. Here I became a Veteran where the love of God seemed a distant shore. Today I am a Veteran for Truth to enjoy the true freedoms of religious desires, smaller government and a fighting force second to none. Let us pray God will hear us call out to Him for protection, purpose and power to overcome all immorality the world over. Amen.

Let us pray: Dear God, we pray to live as Your Apostle of Truth forgiving as well as to seek forgiveness.  We pray for Fighting men and women of the Armed Forces. We pray for our families, friends and foes alike. We pray in Christ’s Risen Name indeed. Amen.

A millstone around your neck

Cause a little one to sin

Tossed into the sea your trek

Guard completely the heart of Truth

If he repents find forgiveness in you

I am sorry even seven times a day you must do

Just as it is appointed that human beings die once, and after this the judgment, so also Christ, offered once to take away the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to take away sin but to bring Salvation to those who eagerly await Him. Hebrews 12:27-28

Just as it is appointed that human beings die once, and after this the judgment, so also Christ, offered once to take away the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to take away sin but to bring Salvation to those who eagerly await Him. Hebrews 12:27-28

First Kings 17:10-16, Psalm 146, Hebrews 9:24-28 & Mark 12:38-44

How do you see your life as the ending draws near? Do the wonders of an afterlife linger in your mind seemingly vanishing as the reality of everyday life knocks on your being fornicating your soul to believe the flash and flair of a secular lived life of constrained lived inhabitation? Do you see this time constraint on your life as the end or just the beginning? What we live now represents what we will find in Eternity, right? Will we frolic with angels along the Streets of Gold or just linger in the Presence of a Son united as One with the Father?

I believe it is here that we fail to talk or really discuss the faith we must live to acquire the Promise God instilled and gave Christ Jesus to the world allowing you and me life and life abundantly. I know, the offers of flesh, fortune and fantasy seem to have a lingering smell of enticement but the results are death without a Christ surrender taking place. The effects of Jesus on your life takes upon a knowledge of faith, charity and love where hope is lived each day for the glory of God Himself. What you smell in flesh, fortune and fantasy can become the souls that need to be saved from the excess of sin sharing the Salvation that saved the world.

Yesterday, I was wearing my solid black shirt that reads on the front, “I’m the Catholic the devil warned you about,” when I met a couple who were new to Miami donating a few items for the Disabled American Veterans of Coral Gables where I am the Adjutant/Treasurer. The man immediately read my shirt and chuckled wanting it seemed for his wife to read the shirt too. We chatted about the boxes until we loaded up and he asked where a Catholic Church was locally.

By the time we left their side I had recited “You Can’t Imagine” and prayed with them sharing the love of God at His best. This love we share of God is the very reason we wait in hope of Christ’s Second Coming to eagerly await the Salvation promised to all sinners. We can enjoin our lives as One to find God’s Truth in the pages of the living Word of God that sits on your counter day-after-day not being opened or revered. Share as God intended. Shake with fear splendid. Shalom for a life lived in Christ’s Concord. Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray to eagerly await Your coming sharing the Truth we revere.  Here our prayers LORD. We pray in Christ’s Risen Name indeed. Amen.

Poor widow gave more in hardship– Mark 12:38-44

In the time of His Teaching

He asked us to beware

Of Scribes in long robes

Greeting with selfish flair

They seek honor at banquets

Devour widows they dare

Reciting lengthy prayers to shadow

The severe condemnation they stare

He observed the crowd giving

Treasury money they share

Rich people giving their surplus

While the widow gave poverty’s spare

Amen He said with pleasure

Teaching the disciples to dare

Poor widow gave more in hardship

Her livelihood lived to care

Forgiven fast: Living trustworthy of His Call or not trustworthy of His Duty?

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-10-2012

Forgiven fast: Living trustworthy of His Call or not trustworthy of His Duty?

I have learned, in whatever situation I find myself, to be self-sufficient. I know indeed how to live in humble circumstances; I know also how to live with abundance. In every circumstance and in all things I have learned the secret of being well fed and of going hungry, of living in abundance and of being in need. I have the strength for everything through Him Who empowers me. Philippians 4:11b-13

If, therefore, you are not trustworthy with dishonest wealth, who will trust you with true wealth? If you are not trustworthy with what belongs to another, who will give you what is yours? Luke 16:11-12

Philippians 4:10-19, Psalm 112 & Luke 16:9-15

People ask over and over and over: How do you go on in the midst of such adversity? Humanity craves the excess of life- the abundance of flesh, fortune and fantasy. I was once cautioned not to place God in the midst of people to create desire as they scolded me about handouts creating a lazy Godless state. I would never want people accept what they are capable of working for as America was created to be. The thought of shared wealth frightens me as much as a world without God.

A homeless veteran friend of mine named Carl recently left a voicemail repeating what I said to him about living God’s Will in all things accepting the “abundance” as well as the “being in need” stating; “maybe this is God’s Will of Revelation.” The people placed as God so intended to live out the end times is yet a possibility for no one knows “that day and hour” He will snatch you into “eternity” enduring pleasure or pain of forever. Yeah, “that’s a mighty long time:” forever.

I think we are frightened to really discuss what this means as much as flesh, fortune and fantasy means to be without God. We want to hold on as much as we want to share in God’s Eternity. We want to practice what we preach but are unwilling to finalize our future. You can carry your “free will” with His Will by living His Son’s Truth. The Gospel that quenches all desires of the flesh taking on desires of the soul.

Here we can live in a Godly state of duty, desire and donation. To help fellow man as God intended to be in communion with God to remain “well fed.” I believe in “He Who gives me strength” to accomplish my duty, desire and donation for life. The puzzle of humanity living trustworthy of His Call or not trustworthy of His Duty? “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will not pass away.” Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today to live trustworthy of Your Call. I’m praying for each of you today. Thank You God. I pray LORD the song I write today below will touch Your people’s hearts. We pray in Christ’s Risen Name indeed. Amen.

Does your building stand tall as His Temple? “For we are God’s co-workers; you are God’s field, God’s building!” One Corinthians 3:9

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-9-2012

Does your building stand tall as His Temple?

For we are God’s co-workers; you are God’s field, God’s building! One Corinthians 3:9

Ezekiel 47:1-2, 8-9, 12, Psalm 46, 1 Corinthians 3:9c-11, 16-17 & John 2:13-22

Regard not the temple of which God has given and discover the Truth in which God displays. “Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God, which you are, is holy.” 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 We find this when we eat too much or seek the flesh as some sort of comfort. We can only find comfort in God alone and the Truth will hurt those who disregard the instructions given to us.

There was a time when I too sought only the pleasure of the flesh and its excess of greed, selfishness and lust. I sought to engage in activity that was detrimental to my well-being but I ignored the Truth. Oh, like many of you I knew what Truth was but I didn’t want anything to do with God or His Decrees. I turned my back on everything God asked of me to seek the pleasure of sin. I found an everlasting desire in God’s Truth once I opened my heart to His love. I have become a co-worker of God’s Mission. His Mission of Salvation and Truth. Does your building stand tall for God?

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today to live in Your Temple as lovers of Your Son’s Salvation. We pray for America. We pray in Christ’s Risen Name indeed. Amen.

Eternity is kind to Truth tellers.

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-8-2012

Eternity is kind to Truth tellers.

Whatever gains I had, these I have come to consider a loss because of Christ. More than that, I even consider everything as a loss because of the supreme good of knowing Christ Jesus my LORD. For His sake I have accepted the loss of all things and I consider them so much rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having any righteousness of my own based on the law but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God, depending on faith to know Him and the power of His resurrection and [the] sharing of His sufferings by being conformed to His death. Philippians 3:7-10

Philippians 3:3-10, Psalm 105 & Luke 15:1-10

Yesterday a close friend sent me something I will share today. May we be guided by Christ our LORD. For in Him we find peace, passion and purpose. Amen.

Hi Thomas. I was just now getting the details on the elections and looked you up first. I see it was “only” 6379 votes but in reality, those were 6379 people whose hearts you touched enough with your Truth, HIS Truth, to vote for you! And, I am sure there were countless more who you touched along the way. Maybe they did not vote for you but you planted a seed in their souls, as you were called to do. So, this is a victory, if not the one you were looking for. 6379 more souls than before stepped up for Truth and that is something great and good in my eyes and in HIS. God bless you, Diana

From The Breitbart Group: The last line: “Eternity is kind to Truth tellers.” You, Thomas, were a Truth teller in this race and surely Eternity will be kind to you.

“I am digging deep in this moment to express any sentiment that might give you hope in this moment of dark despair. The darkest moment in human annals was that moment when evil in it’s grandest appearance of all revealed itself at Golgotha as the embodiment of Truth was nailed to the Cross. If we try to process this in the human light tonight, we will be most miserable. It is only through the spiritual processing of this moment that we might find comfort. Our individual, and collective Faith now faces it’s greatest challenge.

Our fellow Americans have failed us. The political process has failed us, those we entrusted to fight have failed us. This is what we must embrace tonight. God will not fail us! The road of Truth most often goes through the most difficult of Paths, the deepest of valleys, and the darkest of domains. The destination of Truth always leads to the same destination. Eternal communion, and fellowship with God. In this dark hour we must turn away from politics, and turn instead to prayer. Eternity is kind to Truth tellers.”  THE BREITBART GROUP

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today we live for You and only YOU LORD. We pray for peace. Pray for our leaders. We pray in Christ’s Risen Name indeed. Amen.

We began today in total exhaustion where legs and knees seems to ache in every tendon attached and a throat that was completely shut and sore from standing and talking for over 13 hours straight yesterday. I smile in pain knowing I was standing up for the Truth of God’s Word seeking to share only His Good News to the unsuspecting of the world.

So today, “without grumbling or questioning” just describing the awesome feeling of victory in every sense of God’s Will for my life allows me to smile in the midst of a race ran with perseverance to shedding the Truth on a country in dismay. I close today saying “thank you” to all the people who reached out and said keep standing for God for in our world where people of faith seem to hide from the crowd of responsibility.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today we live for You without grumbling or discontent. We pray for peace. Pray for our leaders. We pray in Christ’s Risen Name indeed. Amen.

Vote for the unborn and family’s first. “Blessed is the one who will dine in the Kingdom of God.” Luke 14:15a

Blessed is the one who will dine in the Kingdom of God. Luke 14:15a

Philippians 2:5-11, Psalm 22 & Luke 14:15-24

Jesus was trying to tell us that many are invited to the Table of God but only some will actually come for they are unaware of the Truth in life and how to live God’s Purpose for existence. We must humble ourselves becoming obedient to the point of death living not for the party, the friend or the pleasure but the Truth as described in the Book of Life.

Today will mark a day in history where God is challenging us to live for Him and only Him. When we go to the polls today, God will be looking over our shoulder watching us make the right or wrong decisions in voting to fulfill your faith. Will you let Him down or lift Him up? Will you deny His Truth or sit and dine in confidence? Stay on task and vote your faith. “Blessed is the one who will dine in the Kingdom of God.” Amen

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today we dine with You LORD in the Kingdom of Heaven by our choices of living in Truth. Day nine of a novena of prayers for Carmen of the Capri. We pray for a true miracle win for my election. We pray in Christ’s Risen Name indeed. Amen.

Let your faith Light the world. “Do nothing out of selfishness or out of vainglory; rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves, each looking out not for his own interests, but [also] everyone for those of others.” Philippians 2:3-4

Philippians 2:1-4, Psalm 131 & Luke 14:12-14

Flying high above my house just below the American Flag is a light blue flag bordered in white with two angels holding hands covering the entire flag except the caption along the bottom that reads: “Let your faith light the world.” The faith that “humbly regard others as more important than yourselves” is the most important type of faith one can carry in Christ Himself seeking the Truth in your own interests and that of others to accomplish the Will of God in all things.

Paul describes this inspiration as being of one mind and one heart living in Christ’s Redemptive love. “If there is any encouragement in Christ, any solace in love, any participation in the Spirit, any compassion and mercy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, with the same love, united in heart, thinking one thing.” Philippians 2:1-2 This humility was lived by Christ uniting His Spirit with the Father’s to make the ultimate sacrifice in obedience for the world; death on a Cross for the sins of humanity. Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today to humble ourselves to live for Truth in all things. Day eight of a novena of prayers for Carmen of the Capri. We pray for a true miracle win for my election. We pray in Christ’s Risen Name indeed. Amen.

I promise to celebrate Christ and not choose chaos. “Therefore, you shall love the LORD, your God, with your whole heart, and with your whole being, and with your whole strength.” Deuteronomy 6:5

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-4-2012

I promise to celebrate Christ and not choose chaos.

Therefore, you shall love the LORD, your God, with your whole heart, and with your whole being, and with your whole strength. Deuteronomy 6:5

He (Jesus) is always able to save those who approach God through Him, since He lives forever to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25

Jesus saw that [he] answered with understanding, He said to Him, “You are not far from the Kingdom of God.” Mark 12:34

The LORD our God is LORD alone! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other Commandment greater than these. Mark 12:29e-31

Deuteronomy 6:2-6, Psalm 18, Hebrews 7:23-28 & Mark 12:28-34

What is it to love as God describes across the pages of His Truth? Where is it along the path of life do we find the answers to these puzzling questions? If Jesus were to ask you what the greatest commandment is, would you describe loving your neighbor as much as yourself? In doing this, we got over the need for crisis living for His Credentials. I think I’ve put myself through so much crisis early in life; I just want to love God with all my heart, soul and being.

For some reason I seem to recall the celebration of a 50th birthday was a crisis; “a mid-life crisis.” The time in your life you run off and buy a convertible, a Harley or seek thrill and excess, right? I think it’s hard to live in crisis when you have the love of God firmly rooted in every aspect of your life. People can laugh or balk at you only because they are jealous of the freedom you endure in accepting Christ as your LORD and Savior.

So today I awake early on Daylight Savings to share His love having lived one-half century seeking to truly live one half century for Him. I have 30 years to go where day-by-day I promise to celebrate Christ and not choose chaos. I promise to live in His Truth abiding by His Decrees loving each of you as I love myself, God and charity. Now at 50 I’ve chosen dialogue instead of debate. I’ve chosen love over hate. I pray God allows us all to relate. Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today to love you LORD as our Truth. Day seven of a novena of prayers for Carmen of the Capri. I thank my mom for giving me life today 50 years ago just down the street in South Miami Hospital. We pray for a true miracle win for my election. We pray for all the people I have prayed with this last week taking the time to vote and live a Faithful Citizenship of the USA. God thank YOU for allowing me to live 50 years. We pray in Christ’s Risen Name indeed. Amen.

We trudge through life seeking to know

The purpose to love and eternally show

Our love of God where winds of forever blow

I for one have never figured it out

Where does time seem to go I finally began to shout?

I live each day soaking up His Truth to be stout

Not living each day in crisis to shamefully pout

About life in love where time is the blame

Asking God why He has forsaken your truly precious name

Where does time seem to go forgetting when He came

Ignoring the Truth seemed to be your obvious disastrous shame

Now He asks will you come and rest with Me?

Placing your burdens at the foot of His Tree

The Cross of Salvation for you and for me

Where does time seem to go when Salvation is for free

Let us share God’s Truth in dialogue not debate creating desire not death. “My eager expectation and hope is that I shall not be put to shame in any way, but that with all boldness, now as always, Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.” Philippians 1:20

Wig’s Word of God Today 11-3-2012

Let us share God’s Truth in dialogue not debate creating desire not death.

My eager expectation and hope is that I shall not be put to shame in any way, but that with all boldness, now as always, Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. Philippians 1:20

Philippians 1:18-26, Psalm 42 & Luke 14:1, 7-11

For to me life is Christ, and death is gain.” I approach a milestone in less than twenty-four hours. Something I’m sure many of you have thought about and many of you have already lived. Now in Christ I feel death is but to gain the longing, the true longing in my soul magnified by the Truth instilled by the Creator of Life. A Brother in Christ described it last night as a “craving” while another described it as “surreal.” I simply called God’s Love of direction, decisions and desires as “His Mystery.” Everything more and nothing less than an exuberant feeling of love.

When we grow to the point of true surrender, we realize more than ever this longing magnified in affordability, availability and action of Christ’s Wonder delivers the feeling of Truth. Yep, once you reach the “BIG Five O,” if God is on your side, who can be against you? Sunday, November 4th marks the day my kind and loving mother pushed me into the world. It is the day I entered the world to claim Christ’s Salvation. Today I proclaim with confidence, whether in ridicule or commended, I boldly describe His Salvation to anyone, anytime and anyplace.

Yesterday, as I worked the lines of a voting location, I have greeted thousands of people who enjoy prayer with me, around me or deny me, I lift each up in the American celebration of the right to feel as you desire. After taking my congressional palm card, a young woman commented on my conversation with another about praying for the unborn at abortion clinics. “You pray for what,” she said. “The children dying at abortion clinics.” I replied. “What does Pro Family mean,” looking at me with this funny inquisitive look. “Biblical Principles of defining marriage as God designed between a man and a woman to Pro Create not fornicate.” “I bet you go to church every Sunday,” she laughingly responded. “I try and go every day,” I replied. “Oh,” she replied. “I bet you take your kids too.” “Absolutely, I do. I pray I teach my children the Truth by example.”

She handed me my card back and replied. “You can take you card. Your full of …” Reaching for the card I asked her name and shared with her the respect I have for her own opinion and that I also would pray for her knowing one day God will free her heart and soul. She continued acting as if she wanted to debate encouraging others around her to laugh as she did and comment as she was. The laugh was diabolical. To debate would dismiss the Truth. The Godly people around her unafraid and quiet continued to shake my hand as to dismiss her. But not I. I wanted her to know I would share dialogue with her but I would not debate her God-given right to Freedom of Religion for I know in dialogue we can capture souls for God’s Kingdom rather than push them further away in debate possibly creating disorder, dismay and danger. In debate we find death by Truth. I told her as I walked on to the many more than she that prayed and celebrated Christ with me, “God will instill in your soul the Truth of forgiveness. Either you will embrace Him or reject Him. I love you regardless and pray for your conversion. God Bless you.” Let us share God’s Truth in dialogue not debate creating desire not death. Amen.

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray today to find boldness in our Discipleship of Truth. Day six of a novena of prayers for Carmen of the Capri. We pray for our great country and the needs of people in havoc of the Northeast. We pray for conversion of the young lady I encountered yesterday. We pray in Christ’s Risen Name indeed. Amen.

God Bless His Truth for America,

Spirit led God inspired Christ fed

Philippians 4:4-7 Romans 8:28

Rejoice and have peace in Christ Jesus!

Fruitful labor knowing Heaven’s plain– Philippians 1:18-26

The Way in only One Way

We search and live in each day

In presence or Truth’s dismay

Happy only in the word gay

For in Christ’s Proclamation

I rejoice in the Mystery Celebration

Knowing deliverance by His Destination

The Spirit of Jesus Christ’s True Salvation

Hope and expectation of no shame

I play along with all in life’s game

Seeking to share His truth of no blame

As Christ is magnified by His Eternal Reign

In life or death I see this gain

I cease to whisper life’s pain

In life and death Truth will sustain

Fruitful labor knowing Heaven’s plain
