Do you hear the call to be a Teacher of God’s Children? “Whoever receives one child such as this in My Name receives Me.” Matthew 18:5

Wig’s Word of God Today 8-14-2012

Do you hear the call to be a Teacher of God’s Children?

Their children are bold of face and stubborn of heart—to them I am sending you. You shall say to them: Thus says the LORD God. Ezekiel 2:4

Whoever receives one child such as this in My Name receives Me. Matthew 18:5

Ezekiel 2:4–3:4, Psalm 119 & Matthew 18:1-5, 10, 12-14

There are certain things in your life that you’ll always remember. Most will remember their child’s birth, their wedding day or their graduation from college but a memory that sticks out in my mind the most is an angel from God guiding me to become “a teacher of God’s children.” It was as of God Himself reached down and shook me a little bit and said, “wake up My son, I have many children who need My Truth and you shall deliver My Truth to them.”

At that very moment I was transformed into a “Teacher of God’s Children” and my life took on a different meaning. No longer would I be selfish seeking the thrill of excess and sin. No longer would I allow selfish people take away my joy of life as I would learn to live in Christ’s Redemption. I accepted the call as I learned that “Whoever receives one child such as this in My Name receives (Jesus.)” It wasn’t frightening. The encounter wasn’t filled with threats of eternal damnation if I didn’t obey. It was as if God gave me hidden courage, selfless desires and an open heart for anyone, at anytime and anywhere to receive the Gospel in faith, charity and love.

His love has led me to embrace children, the homeless and the lonely as descendants of God’s Eternal Kingdom Plan where everything my life stood for would be driven to educate, medicate and reciprocate the love God has showed me in His Holy Divine Word. We all have something God wants us to do for Him. If you listen to Him in Scripture aligning your thoughts, actions and deeds to live for His Will, you’ll hear God say, “You shall say to them: Thus says the LORD God. Whoever receives one child such as this in My Name receives Me.” Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to teach the children Your Truth. We pray day nine of a novena of prayers for Holly the homeless pregnant woman as we seek to help place her child at birth. We pray for Robert Miller in Spartanburg, SC asking Your Divine Will guide Your servant and Father of Robert, Steve, to call out to You LORD as we are now to grant healing and peace. We pray for Joe Tomlinson’s healing. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

The Call of God- Are you ready? “Just like the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day so was the appearance of brilliance that surrounded Him. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the Glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speak.” Ezekiel 1:28

Wig’s Word of God Today 8-13-2012

The Call of God- Are you ready?

Just like the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day so was the appearance of brilliance that surrounded Him. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the Glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell on my face and heard a voice speak. Ezekiel 1:28

Ezekiel 1:2-5, 24-28, Psalm 148 & Matthew 17:22-27

We’ve all heard the call of God. Maybe He called you as you walked along the beach or maybe He called you when life was at its lowest point. Whatever the place you may have been, God called out to you in a cloud, a rainbow or clap of thunder but we’ve all heard His call. My question is: Did you answer His Call?

Over the years I have heard many people describe to me their call from God. Many of them started by saying they asked God for a sign and low and behold a truck drove up next to them with a sign from God yelling at them from a bumper sticker. I’ve heard people describe God came to them in a dream and they woke up shaking dripping in sweat. I’ve heard people describe the Call from a job as they worked with children or adults with special needs.

The Call will come but how will you answer it? Will you brush off His Call as self-induced mistake, “Oh, God’s not calling me? He’s calling the other person who needs God more than me.” The person He called is you and the reaction you give may save a life from selfishness and sin. When you stand tall for God, your Light will be like a Beacon for people to come and ask for help. It’s up to you to make the decision to put God’s working gloves on or ignore the need God has in store for you. Are you ready for God’s Call?

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to answer Your Call. We pray day eight of a novena of prayers for Holly the homeless pregnant woman as we seek to help place her child at birth. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I heard God Calling in the Night

I’ve given almost 50 years of breath over my tongue

When I was young I would reply for fun

When some would ask, “What do you want to be?”

I would respond so cheerfully

I want to make a difference to ALL Humanity

While, in the midst of a depression, from a love lost untrue

I began to ask God, “What do you want me to do?”

With my life and my talents giving my all to Thee

The corporate world would see me no more for free

To teach the joy of Love to the little ones who knew

Everything in their power to grow in Joy with You

In the night I could hear God say, “Become a teacher of My children today

In every breath I took that allowed me to pray

Now I see their smiles every morning when I walk into school each day

My Soul then radiates the Spirit of God in everything I say

His taught love of kindness, compassion and forgiveness. “Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another as God has forgiven you in Christ.” Ephesians 4:32

Wig’s Word of God Today 8-12-2012

His taught love of kindness, compassion and forgiveness.

Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another as God has forgiven you in Christ. Ephesians 4:32

It is written in the prophets: ‘They shall all be taught by God.’ Everyone who listens to My Father and learns from Him comes to Me. John 6:45

First Kings 19:4-8, Psalm 34, Ephesians 4:30–5:2 & John 6:41-51

We’ve all heard the old adage, “It takes 7 muscles to smile but 539 to frown.” This brings me to believe you are seven times more likely to smile when meeting someone for the first time versus taking not seven muscles but seven times seventy-seven muscles to frown as you greet the beauty of the world. It surely leads credence to the thoughts of God giving us strength when we are weak in the slightest form possible for I am surely strongest in Christ when I am at my weakest point by living His faith, charity and love. Is compassion not hope in charity? Is forgiveness not faith in love? Is kindness not love of forgiveness?

We are at our strongest place as humans when we forgive living in celebration of life allowing our thoughts, actions and deeds to be of heavenly purpose. I often notice homeless people panhandling or resting in a cool shade when I travel allowing me an opportunity to share Christ’s compassion and kindness encouraging the one I meet to know Christ’s forgiveness forming in them Eternal Life. Each has a story untold yet surprisingly understood by all as life’s training takes over when we meet people in need.

While in NJ over the summer, I met a man who had been homeless for five years suffering from many ailments that causes him constant pain. He sat that day under a shade tree with grass as soft as snow rubbing his legs as he held onto a cane for support. His smile was beautiful against the backdrop of green as the 57-year-old very light skinned African American reached out to shake my offered hand of kindness. “Hi, my name is Thomas. Are you hungry or in need of clothes?” Shaking his head yes to both I sat down next to him in the soft grass and chatted briefly with him to get to know him.

I found out two days later when we returned to a store there He was suffering from cellulitis from his knees down pulling up his sweat pants to show me yellow socks and bandaged legs of three week old bandages we would soon cut off after I returned from getting him some shoes, clothes, medicine and bandages. I poured hydrogen peroxide on his legs lighting up in dazzling white of infection I learned the yellow of the socks was the oozing of the sores as the smell of infection curdled my nose hairs. It soothed him so much when I cleaned his wounds and bandaged him he often cried lightly tears of joy as I tended his sores. Once I finished, I got him redressed in clean clothes and some new shoes and he got up walking on air. His eyes of green set against the redness of his skin brought such peace to me as we held hands in prayer. It is my belief in the surrender I have given to God by the Instruction of the One and Only True Teacher of kindness, compassion and forgiveness guiding what we are taught by His Son’s Gospels leads me to imitate His love. His taught love of kindness, compassion and forgiveness. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to live for kindness, compassion and forgiveness as instructed by Your Son. We pray day seven of a novena of prayers for Holly the homeless pregnant woman as we seek to help place her child at birth. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Impossible is nothing with even the smallest of faith. “Because of your little faith. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:2-a,h

Wig’s Word of God Today 8-11-2012

Impossible is nothing with even the smallest of faith.

See, the rash have no integrity; but the just one who is righteous because of faith shall live. Habakkuk 2:4

Because of your little faith. Nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:2-a,h

Habakkuk 1:12–2:4, Psalm 9 & Matthew 17:14-20

I am reminded over and over again of how much effort we need to place in our lives to live for God’s Truth becoming righteous in all things we live in our thoughts, actions and deeds. Nowhere in the Bible does God say, “You’re on your own fella.” On the contrary, God calls us all to connect with Him in every aspect of your life where the desires of your heart align with those special things you love as in the deep aroma of Jasmine in bloom or the beauty of the blazing sun setting into a cooling sea. We can find this connection creating a calming characteristic of peace that centers our choices, challenges and categories of living life in practice, prayer and proclaiming.

We must make the choice to practice each day in Bible study to build upon a faith that even the grains of sand can eliminate or hold in place the abilities by God’s Divine force of a mountain ruling your life’s quest. Jesus is telling us to live in prayer communion with His guidance for even in the littlest of faith felt the impossible can and will be transformed by God’s never-ending strength. You will dare yourself to say Scripture aloud in the least of spaces consumed by your needs of survival. The grocery store, the gas station or the barber shop comes to mind but somewhere in your daily walk you must share Christ’s Gospel with someone somewhere somehow.

Reach into your heart and allow your soul to speak His Truth. Be confidant and know you lack nothing by God’s Spirit of possibilities. Say aloud, “I am strengthened by He Who made me.” You’ll begin singing hymns of praise lightly in public and people will draw near the sweet sounds of Christ’s soulistic salvation. Be righteous. Be real. Be religious for Christ’s Sake. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to abide by Your Word in faith knowing nothing is impossible with You. We pray day six of a novena of prayers for Holly the homeless pregnant woman as we seek to help place her child at birth. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wilderness Storm- A Haiku of seven and five

The Skies are Grey Winds Fiercely Howling

Touching the Tops of Giants

Holding its scrub with all its Sap

Surviving the Yawl of the Permeate Confusion

Wilderness bunches together keeping Screaming Winds immature

With powerful might of wild Godlike beasts

Divine are the strengths of Wilderness multitudes

Where Herculean exertions show through

Guiding the inhabited geographic region from demise

Some stripped of their foliage

Scorched from the ferocious winds

Lying on their side bleeding

The goo flows from its bark

Yellowish and Green with brown hue

From Titan like Limbs of Steel

Roots abound swaying in the remnant winds

Ghoulish drippings dangling in air

Seeking the safety of the ground below

While God’s creation rejuvenate from Spirits abound

Shining the Rays of Life

Granted forgiveness within the Crosses of time

Cheerful giver of a life lost in Christ. “Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will preserve it for Eternal Life.” John 12:25

Wig’s Word of God Today 8-10-2012

Cheerful giver of a life lost in Christ.

Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Moreover, God is able to make every Grace abundant for you, so that in all things, always having all you need, you may have an abundance for every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:7-8

Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will preserve it for Eternal Life. John 12:25

Second Corinthians 9:6-10, Psalm 112 & John 12:24-26

Do you find the work you do for God already determined? We’ve all been told once or twice in our lives that God has predetermined our days down to every little detail about your life including the number of hairs on your head as they endure or die away according to His Divine Plan. We must give every part of our lives to His Will or endanger our possibility to receive Eternal Life and we must do this cheerfully allowing even the hardships we face mold us to be Christians of allowance, action and abundance.

Each and every work you undergo should be the Divinely Guided Light of Christ’s Salvation where nothing will be lost in a life you lose for His Purpose. Then and only then will we see the True Abundance of God’s Grace eliminate your fears and establish a conscious of Christ-like verve, vigor and vitality. It’s when we learn to deny ourselves for the love of “every good work” do we find Christ’s Empowerment to find Eternal Life in Heaven.

We obviously cannot belong to Christ unless we crucify all self-indulgent passions and desires. Just as the Cross brought about death and life we too must center our lives on the Cross nailing our self-indulgences to the Cross of Salvation to find life in the death of self where the abundance of God’s every Good Work illuminates us with God’s Grace. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to live Your Will without sadness or compulsion. Prayer of thanksgiving LORD for the Haddox Family answered prayers. We pray day five of a novena of prayers for Holly the homeless pregnant woman as we seek to help place her child at birth. We pray for the teachers returning to work. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Faithful Citizenship on the Rock of Christ’s Love. “So I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this Rock I will build My Church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it.” Matthew 16:18

Wig’s Word of God Today 8-9-2012

Faithful Citizenship on the Rock of Christ’s Love.

So I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this Rock I will build My Church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18

Jeremiah 31:31-34, Psalm 51 & Matthew 16:13-23

We have to Promise that holds true for all eternity; “Upon this Rock I will build My Church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it.”  By our prayers, our petitions, our thoughts, our actions, our practice, and our deeds, the Church will prevail against all attempts as the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ protects each and every one as the Constant Heavenly Shield that is the strength of each of us. Jesus places every bit of trust into Peter to lead the beginning of the final Everlasting Covenant between God and mankind.

The decisions he makes by His Free lived for God have been “bound in heaven” declaring something forbidden and “loosed in heaven” declaring something allowed. By this Key Peter was given instant access into Heaven as he was charged with preaching “the Gospel to the ends of the earth” allowing all who came to believe to have Eternal Life as well. “I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19

Each and every one of us has our own Rock so to speak to build up God’s Truth upon to lead our homes and families, our friends and neighbors, our towns and communities, and our nations and world. We mustn’t be afraid of getting involved with every facet of “Faithful Citizenship” helping to shape the moral character of society molding our human dignity as the beauty Christ reveals to the world. We are to “love our neighbor as ourselves.” In Jesus Christ we find the Truth that compels mankind to seek His Goodness forming the consciousness of love He surrounds each of us with. The unsinkable Rock of Love. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to build up Your Rock of Truth. We pray day four of a novena of prayers for Holly the homeless pregnant woman as we seek to help place her child at birth. We pray for the teachers returning to work today. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Freedoms Beyond the Boundaries of Living

The journey of Life can seem unfair

The joy of living once brought eternal thoughts

Where living your life in love was without a care

No worries of being hurt or being distraught

Sometimes God has other plans without despair

What used to seem right

Brought about a different Light

Sit and Wonder Why Love Hurts

Sit and Wonder Why Love feels So Good

Believe in your Heart?

Or know when your Soul says it’s True

For God’s Eternal Love Expressions are in lieu

Where expressions come from what we seek

There are many souls that seem to be empty

Like a Fortress God protects the souls of the weak

God provides defenses for Life’s Experiences

Allowing us the choices to make

Good or Bad God gives us

Freedoms Beyond the Boundaries of Living

Through His Son we are offered eternal forgiveness

The weak and the strong alike are offered the same

Guided by a blind faith Christians choose His guidance

Knowing ALL things are possible though Christ’s help

He tells us to Live Life In Love

For the Sake of Mankind

For the Sake of Humanity

God has given all a blessing of Grace

Allowing us to express ourselves in terms of Love

In terms of Forgiveness

In terms of True Expressions of the Joy around Us

Like the clouds above

So White with the belle of a Blue sky

In the Clouds linger the Shapes of Mountains

The Shapes of river falls cascading into a beautiful blue valley below

One can see God laying in the meadows of a blue field

Fanning His hand to make the wind blow

Where the palms sway from His energy above

Here in words the guidance of Him will give us strength

He shadows us from the world’s anger and truth unknown to many

He flows from our soul allowing only Love to come forth

Grasp the new calling in life of Change

The Rock of Peter gives us the Church today

For the calling by God of Love is already here

The Son of Man’s Light will lead us forever to be near

In Scripture a request of Faithful Citizenship for Archbishop Wenski “LORD, help me.” Matthew 15:25c

Wig’s Word of God Today 8-8-2012

In Scripture a request of Faithful Citizenship for Archbishop Wenski

LORD, help me. Matthew 15:25c

Great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish. Matthew 15:28b,c

Jeremiah 31:1-7, Jeremiah 31:10, 11-12, 13 & Matthew 15:21-28

Do you remember how Jesus healed the Centurion’s servant from afar as described in Matthew 8:10,13? “He was amazed and said to those following Him, “Amen, I say to you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith. You may go; as you have believed, let it be done for you.” And at that very hour [his] servant was healed.” A woman’s cry for help to stop the torture her little girl lived her entire life lived up to such a faith as Jesus described her plea, “Great is your faith!”

In the Gospel of Mark, her faith is not mentioned when He said to her, “Let the children be fed first. For it is not right to take the food of the children and throw it to the dogs.” She replied and said to him, “LORD, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.” Then He said to her, “For saying this, you may go. The demon has gone out of your daughter.” Seemingly, her knowledge of faith that evens feeds the dogs by children’s scraps entails her daughter’s healing. It is the same healing we look for today in our own lives as we seek to understand the Father’s love.

It is the healing we reach for in our Bible study. It is the healing we find in our prayer life. It is the healing we find in the charity we live for Christ’s Sake. It is the healing we find when we take time to get to know other people’s love of God’s faith, hope and love. It is the opportunity to form consciousness for “Faithful Citizenship.” For years the faithful have waited for their leaders to guide them faithfully to “Political Responsibility.”

From the Pulpit we are energized by the example set forth in a Pastor’s zealous words of commitment invigorating our desires to live God’s confidence by our worship of His Truth. By this example we are transformed into practicing the whole faith fulfilling our desire to have “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” Something stolen from the unborn we as God’s Faithful seek to change permanently.

A Pastor’s words ignite passions that have been hidden for way too long. We are asking the Archbishop of Miami to follow suit of the “Call to Political Responsibility from the Catholic Bishops of the United States” and instruct our Pastors to actively seek education of “Faithful Citizenship.” There are too many minutes being lost as the local faithful eagerly come together to fulfill God’s Will for our great country. The work completed and being implemented nationwide is easy to follow and full of reflection for us to form consciousness for Faithful Citizenship. Archbishop Wenski please instruct your pastors to encourage political responsibility in their homilies including the teaching of responsible actions in abortion, sacrament of marriage and acts of charity.

I am reminded of the prolific tradition our faith has taught on faithful citizenship by the teaching of Vatican Council II’s Declaration on Religious Liberty (Dignitatis Humanae). “Society itself may enjoy the benefits of justice and peace, which result from [people’s] faithfulness to God and His Holy Will.” The Will of God dictates humanity participates in the shaping of moral character by and through the empowered involvement of your home, your family and your church.

Archbishop Sir, with all due respect, please help us as a community to better equip our decisions. The US Bishops Reflection introduction gives us all insight we are very aware of but ask leadership of. “As a nation, we share many blessings and strengths, including a tradition of religious freedom and political participation. However, as a people, we face serious challenges that are clearly political and also profoundly moral.”

We thank you LORD for Archbishop Wenski and ask You to guide his thoughts, actions and deeds to accomplish Your Will LORD above all things. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen. Please join me in prayer that our nation forms consciences for Faithful Citizenship in every aspect of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD of all, we pray today to always cry out to You LORD in great faith to live in Your love. We pray for the audience I am requesting in this study to meet Archbishop Wenski. We pray day three of a novena of prayers for Holly the homeless pregnant woman as we seek to help place her child at birth. We pray for the intentions of Archbishop Wenski who I dedicate my poem to below. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Oh ye of little faith. “Beginning to sink, he cried out, “LORD, save me!” Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt.” Matthew 14:30b-31

Wig’s Word of God Today 8-7-2012

Oh ye of little faith.

Beginning to sink, he cried out, “LORD, save me!” Immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt.” Matthew 14:30b-31

Jeremiah 30:1-2, 12-15, 18-22, Psalm 102 & Matthew 14:22-36

If Jesus didn’t eat with the sinners, where would the world truly be today? If you lost your faith, do have the mind to cry out to God, “LORD, save me?” When I surrendered my life to the LORD, I knew in my heart it wasn’t going to be about seeking the righteous of the world, it would be the dirtiest of dirtiest, the meanest of the meanest and the neediest of the neediest. Even in the eyes of some who think this person or that person is the worst sinner amongst sinners wouldn’t be judged by me but earnestly prayed for as God instructed us to be.

I have hugged some of the dirtiest sinners of the whole world as tears of surrender stream down their face hearing them whisper in my ear, “thank You LORD, thank You LORD.” I’ve hugged some of the cleanest sinners of the world who’ve whispered in my ear, “Keep fighting the good fight.” Each has their own judgment to attend with God as well as their own decisions to attend to for God. It’s what you do with yourself before walking on the water that God will rescue you from as you sink into the Netherworld by just saying, “LORD, save me.” Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear Father God, we pray today to always have faith to walk where You will send us LORD unafraid and willing to be Your arms and feet. We pray day two of a novena of prayers for Holly the homeless pregnant woman as we seek to help place her child at birth. We pray for the intentions of Juan Menendez who I dedicate my poem to below. No feeling came in the midst of pain

My sisters passing gave no tears of disdain

My soul was empty guilt filled my hole

I was empty from the chemical high in my soul

No disrespect to elders I was taught

Biting my tongue at my father I balked

Arriving late in life to my disdain

He disappeared again his love in vain

My son knew what I needed to be

Answering the alter call for Emmaus to see

God’s Truth in tears by confession to agree

Getting back my family and friends to believe

Performing deeds of rectitude, reckoning and righteousness.

We possess the Prophetic Message that is altogether reliable. You will do well to be attentive to It, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until day dawns and the Morning Star rises in your hearts. 2nd Peter 1:19

He was Transfigured before them, and His clothes became dazzling white, such as no fuller on earth could bleach them. Mark 9:2d-3

Daniel 7:9-10, 13-14, Psalm 97, Second Peter 1:16-19 & Mark 9:2-10

There is only One Way to be attentive to the Prophetic Message that rises in our minds, in our hearts and in our souls; Practice. Pray. Proclaim. Unlike me, many of the world embraced this Joy of knowing Jesus when they were just a child. When I meet the young people of today, I always pray I can be a “Lamp Shinning in a Dark Place” the secular America most kids seem to imitate in today’s world. A generation I encounter often in my travels of God’s Road of Redemption.

The hymn we were listening to was so special, it made me cry” I overheard a teenage fast food restaurant worker say as we sat down to eat yesterday. “God has a Way of doing that,” I said a aloud as she commented how beautiful my tie is referring to the amazing picture of Jesus set against the “dazzling white” background that seems to draw smiles, comments and yes frowns from people I witness to. I believe the statement goes like this: “At all times preach the Gospel, if necessary use words.”

We all know to live this astonishing Prophetic Message we must preach aloud causing hearts to stir and bodies to take action living God’s Will to be embraced by the people around us. I think it’s imperative that we comprise a desire to meet the world of all faiths coming together in prayer and worship that sparks deeds of endless Glory for our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. When I look out across the dimensions of religions, I see the Core of God’s Divine Plan for humanity. I see the faith, hope, charity and love instilled in the heartbeat of society majority that comes from Jesus the Christ.

People are “transfigured” by the saving Mercy of Christ Jesus allowing each to experience God’s Divine calling of Grace. Many have different paths but the same roadmap growing as a baby to an adult practicing, praying and proclaiming the Word of God. We should get out and see people of the society who live for God’s Truth allowing the True Influence to captivate our minds, bodies and spirits to perform deeds of rectitude, reckoning and righteousness.

I had a chance to converse with a man who said he’s been preaching for 29 years. His church has an enormous choir stretching as a sea of “dazzling white” just as the tie I had on singing the love of the man the ties picture it proclaimed; Jesus. The church service I attended was a Candidate Empowerment Service of Bishop Victor Curry at the New Birth Baptist Church Cathedral of Faith International in North Miami. It was the first time I’ve ever heard Reverend Al Sharpton preach and his message of action, surrender and protection of Jesus Christ touched my desires to do more for the common man.

In a press conference afterwards, I asked Rev. Sharpton if he minded giving me a hug as he opened his arms allowing two Christian Soldiers to embrace in the midst of a battle so important for the future of Christian America. As I spoke to Bishop Curry, I felt his Christ-like embrace of Truth that resends all prejudices across the plains of Christ’s Redeeming Blood. I pray the LORD will use us to be His morning star to transfigure America’s future as a shining lamp in any dark place unafraid to say the Name of Jesus. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear Father God, we pray today to always be a shining lamp in the dark places proclaiming the Truth in thought, action and deed. We pray for the ministry of New Birth Baptist. We pray for Samuel Ulysses Jones III. We begin a novena of prayers for Holly the homeless pregnant woman as we seek to help place her child at birth. We pray for the intentions of Rev. Al Sharpton and Bishop Curry who I dedicate my poem to below. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Christ’s Love No Race– In honor of Bishop Victor Curry and Rev. Al Sharpton

The divide often witnessed

Humanity as truly gifted

Each their desire listed

Christ enjoined humanity lifted

Freed from all decoys

Of Satan’s sinful toys

Together we rise anointed

Our tongues double jointed

To speak God’s Truth

His Word Eternally proves

All mankind must choose

Christ’s love or lose

Together we are strong

We can overcome wrong

Lifted His Father’s face

Christ’s love no race

The New Self of peaceful persistent purpose. “You should put away the old self of your former way of life, corrupted through deceitful desires, and be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on the new self, created in God’s way in righteousness and holiness of Truth.” Ephesians 4:22-24

The New Self of peaceful persistent purpose.

You should put away the old self of your former way of life, corrupted through deceitful desires, and be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and put on the new self, created in God’s way in righteousness and holiness of Truth. Ephesians 4:22-24

Exodus 16:2-4, 12-15, Psalm 78, Ephesians 4:17, 20-24 & John 6:24-35

It’s hard to trust the LORD with everything you live for especially if you’re in the desert with a bunch of runaway people used to being satisfied by false rations of content and flavor. Many Americans feel this false ration of hope is being mascaraed as going “forward” in a bland taste of camouflaged sparkles of excess.  Even when we become freed from the slavery of sin we sometimes think the life of righteousness as Commanded by God seems to boorish for the likes of many attempting instead to tightrope across God’s Decrees as some sort of “right” to live halfway in sin yet forgiven and halfway out.

It happened to the freed Israelites that Moses took out of bandage only to swagger, moan and complain God was abandoning them in the midst of complete chaos, famine and despair. Not only did He provide for them the Bread from Heaven but He provided the tender meat of angels in the quail he fluttered the ground with each day that would prove to them to cower before the Mighty LORD of all. The LORD will test us just as He tested their loyalty by expressing to Moses His Truth. “I propose to test them in this way to see whether they will follow My Law or not.” Exodus 16:4d

The LORD will satisfy our hunger by the Trust we place in His Truth. A hunger not only for nourishment of the body but the soul’s refreshing wind of holiness, happiness and hallowed consecration living the new “Way of Life created in God’s way in righteousness and holiness of Truth.”

It seems frightening sometimes to “Let go and Let God” but the “new self” of accepting God’s Divine Word, Will and Wonder relates to every step of peaceful persistent purpose you live in your heart. The peace to do what’s right even in the midst of abrasive opposition. The persistent confidence to share Christ’s Salvation to complete strangers with care. The purpose of allowing as many souls as possible to know Christ’s Salvation by walking the Life of Christ in a renewed spirit of humility, health and honor. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to find our new self by living Your Word. We pray day nine of a Novena of prayers for Mesfin Zabrocki and Lucy Moreira to be at peace LORD. We pray for the intentions of Rick Maulini who I dedicate my poem to below. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Jesus Christ is my strength and that is a fact- In honor of Rick Maulini (GBU!)

Hebrews 11:1-3 to begin

What is faith to win?

Made by God’s love to grin

Exampled by Christ void of sin

How to trust God we can’t see?

Free Will guides us to be

Believers in Grace to agree

How His Truth set us free

Alone in prayer I felt

My secret place I eagerly dwelt

Surrender to Christ my life He dealt

A moment of faith making me melt

I asked God for direction

A reflection I felt in detection

Of Christ in strength of affection

Ashamed I needed correction

The moment of faith may not last

Commit to pray and surrender the past

Even in doubt in Him I can grasp

When I am weak I am strong in Him to gasp

Jesus Christ is my strength and that is a fact
