Faithful Citizenship of a Christian American Fan

They will dwell there and possess it; the descendants of God’s servants will inherit it; those who love God’s Name will dwell in it. Psalm 69:36b-37

Jeremiah 26:11-16, 24, Psalm 69 & Matthew 14:1-12

Many have answered the call to give God their all only to have someone, something or some self-described love separate them from God’s Plan of faith, hope and love. The more commitment you live and happily display the more opposition you come up against. There will always be the people who oppose your desire to live in Truth as they openly take chances of placing constraints on your beliefs, traditions and religion to satisfy some sort of weird desire to live in social disorder of forced beliefs, forced medicine and forced protection. We have lived scorned by them for too long silently sitting back accepting their best practices until “the king” done gone too far.

Just as the Psalmist proclaims in Psalm 69 we too must not lose hope God will right this situation by the work we as Christians put forth in faith. We must pray earnestly with compassionate desire for the Father’s Glorification to be lived in our hope. We must accept the call to live in God’s love protecting every freedom He guarantee’s humanity by living His Truth. It’s not bigotry. It’s not hate. It is our God-given right to not accept the vulgarity, brashness and evil unbiblical behavior creates in our children. It is our God-given right to openly pray for your conversion and place our Trust in God’s Divine Plan for mankind.

I call all humanity to go arm-n-arm as Brother’s and Sister’s in Christ rising up as the majority to squash this silent yet open disease of secular immorality. We must remain faithful to His Teachings and embrace each as Christ-like for the Glory of God the Father. Our “Faithful Citizenship” of living in a country created for Freedom of Religion, Freedom to Make a Profit and Freedom to Bear Arms must be lived in active thought, articulate actions and accelerated participation by all people of faith.

Become active now. Become articulate now. Accelerate your involvement now. Ask me how you can immerse yourself in the active voice our citizenship calls us to speak. God is asking us to live the whole faith not walk a fence of convenience but truly live His Designed Plan to breathe in faith, hope/charity and love. Faithful Citizenship requires faithfulness to God and His Holy Will allowing society to enjoy the benefits of justice and peace. This is our Declaration on Religious Liberty we are charged to uphold. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to live in Faithful Citizenship to Your Divine Holy Will. Make us a people of articulate action accelerated by Your Holy Word. We pray day eight of a Novena of prayers for Mesfin Zabrocki and Lucy Moreira to be at peace LORD. We pray for the intentions of all Americans who I dedicate my poem to below. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. We thank You LORD for Julian first day in rehab. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

The Majority performs mighty deeds of Faith. Response to Chick-fil-a National Appreciation Day

Wig’s Word of God Today 8-3-2012

The Majority performs mighty deeds of Faith. Response to Chick-fil-a National Appreciation Day

Perhaps they will listen and turn, all of them from their evil way, so that I may repent of the evil I plan to inflict upon them for their evil deeds. Jeremiah 26:3

He did not work many mighty deeds there because of their lack of faith. Matthew 13:58

Jeremiah 26:1-9, Psalm 69 & Matthew 13:54-58

It seems this year the secular world has attempted to prove they are a majority here in the United States by several different types of ultimatums being handed down in every nook and cranny spread through every wide plain our great God-fearing country our society planted over 200 years ago. Mind you, what has taken over 2000 years to be accepted as some sort of normal or expected behavior from a society of people who believe what’s taking place in excess, vulgar and sin is as normal as Apple Pie.

I agree when they say apples don’t fall too far from the tree but I beg to differ the majority of apples in the United States is Christ-less tasting proven by the crowds who descended on Chick-fil-a after a radio host called for a National Chick-fil-a Appreciation Day after a secular backlash by the CEO made comments to the Baptist Press supporting “the biblical definition of the family unit.” What seems obvious here is the minority of Americans who are gay, gay friendly or don’t care can make enough noise to cause God-fearing American’s to act just as Jeremiah reminds us today God will act as He has through each of us now where our hearts ache by the brashness, improper and uncouth Biblical behavior that is taking place around us.

The American Christian Society is more than just Catholics upset at our Religious Freedoms being forced from our minds, we are “55 times more” (according to recent observations of internet data) than the nationwide minority who plan a protest today against a company owner who knows there is only One Way that is the right Way and that’s God’s Way afforded to us by His Divine Teachings. One survey I heard yesterday places God-fearing Americans as 77% of voter-age representation. The Mighty Deeds of America are not being shown by a lack of faith. On the contrary, the majority of Americans are speaking up in 2012 knowing right from wrong truths from untruths.

Arm-n-arm we can reestablish the Truth masked by flash and flair the media will continue to abrasively place in our faces but we must remember the Word of God has no grey areas that can allow us to ride the fence of moral obligations. People of faith must unite as challenged to accomplish the Will of God. We must choose to love instead of judge not accepting smutty behavior as normal and pray for the conversion of souls shinning bright lights of enticing sin and focus on the God’s Divine Decrees to live for His Glory. Don’t let your elected officials fool you into thinking it’s Ok to go against God’s Word because of selfish desires of flesh uncontrolled by discourteous un-Biblical behavior. “Perhaps they will listen and turn, all of them from their evil way, so that I may repent of the evil I plan to inflict upon them for their evil deeds.” Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today we listen to Your Word and live for the Glory of You LORD. We pray day seven of a Novena of prayers for Mesfin Zabrocki and Lucy Moreira to be at peace LORD. We pray for the intentions of Sean Bequer who I dedicate my poem to below. Wig’s Word of God Today 8-2-2012

Stand Up and Speak by the angels we seek for you JAM.

The angels will go out and separate the wicked from the righteous. What is bad they throw away. What is good into buckets. Matthew 13:49b, 48b, 48a

Jeremiah 18:1-6, Psalm 146 & Matthew 13:47-53

A backwards walk in Matthew to show how we’ll be separated like good and bad fish thrown into buckets of fire or stealth, wicked from the righteous, expelled or graduated into the Eternal Promise of the only Way into Heaven; Jesus Christ. Yep, you can’t get around Him- the Savior of the world. You are a Jesus Freak whether you wear your faith or not. It’s Ok to be a Jesus Freak. Don’t hide it on my account. Jesus gives you liberation if you find the Way to share His Redemption with faith, hope and love.

We are reminded today that Jesus wants us to be righteous dancing in the good buckets of God’s Kingdom. The Only Way to get there is to say yes to Christ’s Gift of Salvation. Once you do and truly see the beauty of Christ’s Deliverance from sin, you’ll be dancing in the streets telling your friends and enemies you love them. Finding this Way of living will mend hearts, mold marriages and magnify God in the simplest of things. Jesus can heal hearts, hold marriages and honor God in the hardest of tragedies.

Listening to a young man explain the death of his younger brother discovering him first after a long day at school demonstrated the Hand of God in a family embracing the deliverance Christ has given. I was amazed how the family of the young man in showing and living so much courage by taking his life and celebrating it to bring awareness to suicide. It’s nothing to be ashamed of and it is truly something to bring awareness to for hope of prevention. I applaud the JAM Foundation and Ganley Foundation for inspiring our younger generation to Stand Up and Speak. You can learn more about this inspiring life-saving cause at http://thejamfoundation.com/welcome-visitor/. May God Bless the Menendez Family, the Ganley Foundation and the work of Justin’s worthy call to suicide awareness. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to live righteous by our surrender to Your Redemption. We pray for Julian’s move to Rehab LORD. We pray day six of a Novena of prayers for Mesfin Zabrocki and Lucy Moreira to be healed LORD. We pray for the intentions of George Labelle who I dedicate my poem to below. When I found Your Words, I devoured them; Your Words were my joy, the happiness of my heart, Because I bear Your Name, LORD, God of hosts. Thus the LORD answered me: If you come back and I take you back, in My presence you shall stand; If you utter what is precious and not what is worthless, you shall be My mouth. Then they will be the ones who turn to you, not you who turn to them. Jeremiah 15:16/19

Wig’s Word of God Today 8-1-2012

Eternal Words for Eternal Life.

Out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. Matthew 13:44c

Jeremiah 15:10, 16-21, Psalm 59 & Matthew 13:44-46

As a child growing up, I festered with the Word of God instead of embracing the Truth to guide my soul. When I found God’s Word, “I devoured them” methodically taking the time to “read between the lines” so to speak searching for answers of long ago. “Why am I here LORD?” “What is our purpose?” “Who are You LORD?” “When do You reveal Yourself?” “Where will this happen?” Some like to add the word “how” to the mix but I prefer to “W” everything by the ending sound of any word. You know, “Tommy Wommy” and “Toni Woni.”

Many of you might ask, “Did you find the answers in the Bible?” I found the need to slow down and engulf God’s Word instead of festering it from afar. I learned God was pleased to make mankind to “adore” Him living in communion with Him seeking not the how but the want of His Purpose. I learned to utter what is precious by God’s Truth seeking the worthless instead of uttering insignificant falsehoods that mask the “Beauty of Truth.”

I have begun to understand that I am His mouth bearing a Cross of Forgiveness granted to mankind for the absolution of sins. Something that calls us to be proactive in sharing and making sure these liberties never fail embracing what is granted by God these freedoms we hold so dear. As a people of faith, don’t we want the here-and-now to be harmonious in God’s Truth of never-ending love? It is the joy we feel that compels us to buy up the fields of life planting spoils of delicious fruit of Eternal Living. The Word of the LORD gives us the why, the what, the who, the when, and the where providing humanity with what we want; Eternal Life of Happiness. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to always want Your Word as our guide. We pray for Julian’s move to Rehab LORD. We pray day five of a Novena of prayers for Mesfin Zabrocki and Lucy Moreira to be healed LORD. We pray for the intentions of Kendall Peterson who I dedicate my poem to below. Patience takes practice, prayer and preaching. “Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father.” Matthew 13:43

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-31-2012

Patience takes practice, prayer and preaching.

Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Matthew 13:43

Jeremiah 14:17-22, Psalm 79 & Matthew 13:35-43

We are overjoyed when we finally figure something out that Jesus tells His followers just as much as they were overjoyed when Jesus would take the time to explain certain parables to them. The Parable of the Weeds is a good example for the patience we all must endure to live the Will of God, which is fully explained as the wicked receive their due and the righteous in the eyes of God “will shine like the sun” in the shadow of Glory in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Patience is a true virtue but I beg to say we stay focused on practice, prayer and preaching to live in the patience of God’s Will. Is it enough to say we believe? Or is God calling us to do more for His Kingdom than just sit and live? We must find the purpose of God’s gift of life to each of us by seeking Him in our practice, seeking Him in our prayers and living for Him in our proclamation. We mustn’t be afraid of God’s Directives as we pursue to live a life of Christ as True Disciples for the Father’s Glory. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to live patiently for Your Truth. We pray for Julian’s move to Rehab LORD. Can you see how Big God’s Word is? “He spoke to them another parable. The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed with three measures of wheat flour until the whole batch was leavened.” Matthew 13: 33

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-30-2012

Can you see how Big God’s Word is?

This wicked people who refuse to obey My Words, who walk in the stubbornness of their hearts and follow other gods, serving and worshiping them, will be like this loincloth, good for nothing. Jeremiah 13:10

You were unmindful of the Rock that begot you, you forgot the God Who gave you birth. Deuteronomy 32:18

He spoke to them another parable. The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed with three measures of wheat flour until the whole batch was leavened. Matthew 13: 33

Jeremiah 13:1-11, Deuteronomy 32:18-19, 20, 21 & Matthew 13:31-35

As I write about the LORD’s Truth each day, I place my heart and soul into God’s Word to write as brief yet direct, simple yet eloquent seeking only Christ’s Truth giving the Father all the Glory. The immeasurable effect of God’s Word in the smallest of structures in grammar illuminates the magnitude of the Kingdom’s Validity, Force and Power. Jesus spoke a Parable of Magnitude for just as the “three measures of wheat flower” is an enormous amount, enough to feed a hundred people liken God’s Word to the Power and Omnipotence of the King of Kings and LORD of LORD’s.

So Enormous is He that He will swallow the pride of humanity with Precision and Force for those “who refuse to obey My Words” of Truth to be His People of Fame, Praise and Glory. But no, “they did not listen.” It is as if the secular desires of man’s pride can simply ignore God’s Grace of Life bestowed on us all by the love He has for all His Children. You cannot hide your underwear in the rocks of sin and expect them to return to you unblemished for without God’s Word as your guide, you will find the loincloth just like you worn-out and torn. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to express the enormoucy of Your Word to the people we meet each day. We pray for Julian’s move to Rehab LORD. We pray day three of a Novena of prayers for Mesfin Zabrocki and Lucy Moreira to be healed LORD. We pray for the intentions of Chris Stone who I dedicate my poem to below. Feeding by miracles of God’s Grace? “He set it before them, and when they had eaten, they had some left over, according to the Word of the LORD.” 2 Kings 4:44

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-29-2012

Feeding by miracles of God’s Grace?

He set it before them, and when they had eaten, they had some left over, according to the Word of the LORD. 2 Kings 4:44

Live in a manner worthy of the call you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another through love, striving to preserve the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1d-3

When they had had their fill, he said to his disciples, “Gather the fragments left over, so that nothing will be wasted.” John 6:12

Second Kings 4:42-44, Psalm 145, Ephesians 4:1-6 & John 6:1-15

Elisha knew the LORD wouldn’t make the faithful go without food multiplying the first fruits of bread to feed 100 just as much a Jesus knew there was a kid with five barley loaves and two fish to feed five thousand amongst the crowd that Jesus told, “Have the people recline.” Here Jesus performs the miracle by example to feed the hungry in belief just as much as He provides for humanity as a whole.

I described this recently upon entering a store to buy gas as a man watched several birds eating from the ground. “If God can provide for the birds of the sky.” I said, “How much more can he provide for man?” God can and will provide for those we encounter in need just as much as he’ll provide for us and our families by living according to His Divine guided Will.

I find such peace in living worthy for the “call” we all have received by the breath of God’s Grace we enjoy every second of every day. We are being fed by God in every moment of every day for if His Nostril of Life didn’t breathe energy into our souls, we couldn’t use our own Free Will to place God First. Jesus is asking us today to make sure we don’t leave any “fragments” of His Flock behind guaranteeing we give anyone in our lives a chance to know His Salvation.

We all are called as Paul describes to live as “one body and one Spirit, as you were also called to the one hope of your call; one LORD, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, Who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:4-6 Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to feed the lost and hungry by our trust in You LORD. We pray for Julian’s recovery LORD. We pray day nine of a Novena of prayers for Steve’s intentions. We pray for the intentions of Tommy Leong who I dedicate my poem to below. We pray for Mesfin Zabrocki and Lucy Moreira to be healed LORD. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. Can a weed be a flower by your message of Truth? “Let them grow together until harvest.” Matthew 13:30a

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-28-2012

Can a weed be a flower by your message of Truth?

Stand at the gate of the House of the LORD and proclaim this message there: Hear the word of the LORD. Jeremiah 7:2a

Let them grow together until harvest. Matthew 13:30a

Jeremiah 7:1-11, Psalm 84 & Matthew 13:24-30

The Word of God comes to the mighty Prophet Jeremiah explaining to the people to stop their wicked ways for surely God will not allow them to find protection in the House of God after their unfailing disrespect for God’s Truth by uncivil behavior of sexual disorder, murder and adoring false gods. Seems pretty simple to me that by living for God’s Will we find a path of righteousness to live for God’s love and God’s Decrees.

How many times have you heard God’s Message of action and went home to say another will take care of the needs of the lost, hungry or poor? If we allow the laziness of Satan’s desires to enter our heart, we will sit in the comfort of our own protective coverings doing what selfishness and sin allow. I implore you to engage the lost and confused by God’s Eternal Word of Truth. The Word of God will lead us all to the answers life requires and demands if we’d only open the covers to find His Will in your life.

Today Jesus reminds us that we must allow the weeds of despair to grow amongst our desires of faith, hope and love but He will surely harvest the nonbelievers for eternal damnation unless we can share the Way of Salvation by our thoughts, action and deed. We must live by example for the directional peace of Truth. Oh sure, the secular world will disrupt your motivation to live for God in the flash and flair of colors of selfishness and sin but call out to God and He will shoulder your distrust and allow you to engage His Purpose to anyone you encounter. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to be Sowers of Truth by following Christ’s Word. We pray for Julian’s recovery LORD. We pray day eight of a Novena of prayers for Steve’s intentions. We pray for the intentions of John Lobo who I dedicate my poem to below. We pray for Mesfin Zabrocki and Lucy Moreira to be healed LORD. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. You Sow to Respond. You Sow to React. You Sow to Rejoice in God’s Word. “The seed sown on the path is the one who hears the Word of the Kingdom without understanding it, and the evil one comes and steals away what was sown in his heart.” Matthew 13:19

Wig’s Word of God Today 7-27-2012

You Sow to Respond. You Sow to React. You Sow to Rejoice in God’s Word.

The seed sown on the path is the one who hears the Word of the Kingdom without understanding it, and the evil one comes and steals away what was sown in his heart. Matthew 13:19

Jeremiah 3:14-17, Jeremiah 31:10, 11-12, 13 & Matthew 13:18-23

Jesus describes the four types of persons envisioned to carry His Message of Truth by using the Parable of the Sower of the Seeds. There are those who never accept the Word of the Kingdom by finding the seed sowed on the path they walk on. There are those who believe for a while but fall away because of persecution while walking on rocky ground of nonbelievers. There are those who believe, but in whom the Word is choked by worldly anxiety and the seduction of riches. And finally Christ’s parable of the Sower describes those who respond to the Word and produce fruit abundantly by allowing His Truth to guide their complete surrender.

After every Walk to Emmaus retreat weekend, every table leader will call their own candidates from their table and discuss with them how the week has been and if there’s anything they might need prayer for. As I called each yesterday discussing their week, I always ask if they had a chance to pick up the Word of God and make it a part of their daily routine. I always remind them that the evil one is not happy with our Spiritual discoveries from the Emmaus weekend and he’ll try extra hard to make them stumble. In guiding their discussion of God’s Truth, I can steer them to understand how important it is for them to respond to God’s Word in thought, action and deed as described in Matthew 13:23.

The seed sown on rich soil is the one who hears the Word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and yields a hundred or sixty or thirtyfold.”

Respond. React. Rejoice. Amen!

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today to be Sowers of Truth by following Christ’s Word. We pray for Julian’s recovery LORD. We pray day seven of a Novena of prayers for Steve’s intentions. We pray for the intentions of Tim Clark and David Haddox who I dedicate my poem to below. We pray for Mesfin Zabrocki and Lucy Moreira to be healed LORD. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. Allowing my life to be His in kind

The death in valleys I fear not

No evil will overcome my belief

Comforted by His rod and staff

His Truth I eternally conceive

God’s table is set before me

As enemies jockey to kill

He anoints my head with oil

I live according to His Will

As my cup overfloweth

Goodness and mercy I pursue

My life throughout all my days

In His House I live to never undue

The Mercy of God in His Valleys

Allow us to live for His Truth

In His 23rd Psalm of David

God’s Love is forever True

Sharing the Truth to those hard of hearing. “This is why I speak to them in parables, because ‘they look but do not see and hear but do not listen or understand.’ Matthew 13:13

Sharing the Truth to those hard of hearing.

This is why I speak to them in parables, because ‘they look but do not see and hear but do not listen or understand.’” Matthew 13:13

Jeremiah 2:1-3, 7-8, 12-13, Psalm 36 & Matthew 13:10-17

There are countless people all around you that hear but do not listen nor attempt to understand the Gospel of Christ Jesus. Jesus has instilled in us the believers to be ever diligent to a submissive life of Christ. He knew many would ignore the Truth and thus jeopardize their life’s ability to find God’s Redemption of Grace bestowed on humanity by the spreading of His Arms across the Cross of Salvation. Everybody needs this Grace offered by the Father’s love and it is up to us as Christians to share His Truth with anyone, anytime and anyplace to bring more souls to Heaven.

In today’s age, this included every form of medium that you can imagine; radio, print, email, TV, corner preaching, house-to-house and the internet. How you choose to share His Truth is a personal decision between you and God and God alone. On my return from the Carolina’s Monday, I came across a man at a gas station watching the birds scavenge for food across the parking lot. As I approached him I said, “If the LORD can provide for the birds of the sky, how much more can He provide for us men?” He replied, “absolutely” smiling as I walked passed him into the store.

We must be willing to talk to complete strangers to accomplish the Will of God in all things. Maybe this man received the message God was intending him to hear that bright sunny afternoon. Maybe he discovered the answer to a puzzling Scripture he’d been studying earlier in the day. Maybe, just maybe this man took this message and began a search to feed the homeless of his community. With God all things are possible and by your encouragement all people you encounter will find His strength of proof. Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear God, we pray today share Your Son’s Truth of Redemption LORD. We pray for Julian’s recovery LORD. We pray day six of a Novena of prayers for Steve’s intentions. We pray for the intentions of Greg Schweitzer who I dedicate my poem to below. We pray for Mesfin Zabrocki to be healed LORD. We accept Your Divine Will in all things. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God Bless His Truth for America,

Rejoice and have peace in Christ Jesus!

For Christ I make my life-long stand- In honor of Greg Schweitzer (GBU!)

I thought my life was fine

Missing was happiness of Truth

Self-absorbed in success

My family didn’t get my best

My Emmaus instilled the love

God placed in my heart from above

Lust from selfish life with friends

Christ burned in my heart to begin

A surrender to God’s Eternal Plan

My family became my biggest fan

Nothing can change His love demand

For Christ I make my life-long stand
