We can search and search for pleasures of life and know not one until we embrace the Truth in God’s Word to find the Divine Calling God has in store for you. Finding God’s Will is as easy as turning the pages of your Bible and conducting yourself in faith, hope and love. We are reminded today that to know Christ’s love is to know a knowledge that is many times beyond our scope of understanding but this awareness allows us to be filled with the utter fullness of God.

I know, I know, how do we even know that God’s fullness is breathing and pulsating in the lungs and heart of little ole me? You will feel His Spirit guide you. You will know His Spirit’s love by the motivation of your heart. You will guide your own life to mirror His by your practice, prayer and preaching. The fullness of God will awaken your spirit to accomplish every thought, action and deed to live for His Truth. IN brevity I attempt to explain a fullness God has in store for each of us but remember God instructs all of us to know the love of His Son “is beyond knowledge, you may be filled with the utter fullness of God.” Amen.

Dear God, we pray today to know the love of Your Son to share His Redemption with the world. We pray today to live in His Fullness to embrace a life of faith, hope and love. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

To the Gentiles His unfathomable love

The plan of God’s Mystery from above

He Who created all things

Must have His Wisdom prove

On earth you cannot find

The Truth unless you end sin to behoove

His Wisdom above all authorities

The Eternal Purpose of Christ our LORD

For I tell you, if your uprightness does not surpass that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. Matthew 5:20

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-14-2012

For I tell you, if your uprightness does not surpass that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. Matthew 5:20

First Kings 18:41-46, Psalm 65 & Matthew 5:20-26

The Sermon on the Mount brought about different types of right and wrong as conferred on the Disciples by Christ to prepare them for ministering the New Covenant to the world. What began as the beauty of life in the Beatitudes turns to how you maintain your “flavor” if you will for the LORD’s Truth switching to the law ending with the six examples of conduct.

Today Jesus instructs us to live an “up righted” life avoiding anger with your friends, family and strangers alike as the first example of conduct. We must resolve to work out our differences or lose in court and be liable to imprisonment as well. Jesus goes as far as saying you must do this before you present yourself to Him at His Altar in the House of God. Anger becomes a losing battle with severe consequences including separating us from God nullifying our ticket to heaven so to speak. Resolution will allow you to live resolute for God. Amen.

I say to you, whoever is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment. Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar, go first and be reconciled with your brother. Settle with your opponent quickly while on the way to court with him. And then come and offer your gift.” Matthew 5:22abc, 23-24, 25a, 24c

In prayer, we ask, Dear LORD, we pray today to live an upright life for Your glory. We pray for resolution for a world confused by the flash of media, lust and greed. We pray for our children, our moms and dads, our family, our friends and the people we meet every day. LORD please help us in our surrender to be a people of action to live resolute for Your Truth. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

Fetch reconciliation to eternally show- Matthew 5:20-26

His Disciples heard Him speak

Of conduct we should all learn to seek

Avoiding anger that is foolish and weak

Living for righteousness in life’s peak

You cannot enter the Kingdom to show

If anger dwells in your heart and soul

Thou shall not kill in judgments no

Anger against brother judgments to know

Calling someone Raqa is an imbecile twist

To answer to the Sanhedrin they can’t resist

Calling someone a fool is liable to fire

Seeking to ridicule can make you a liar

So now at the altar leave your gift and go

Fetch reconciliation to eternally show

How forgiveness and love is greater to know

Returning to offer the gift as wisdom learns to grow

Settle with him as quick as you ran

Before the judge hands you over to serve in a can

Round walls will be your night and day guard

Until every last penny is paid serving time that is hard

You must call on the name of your god, and I shall call on the Name of Yahweh; the God Who answers with fire, is God indeed. First Kings 18:24

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-13-2012

You must call on the name of your god, and I shall call on the Name of Yahweh; the God Who answers with fire, is God indeed. First Kings 18:24

The person who keeps them and teaches them will be considered great in the Kingdom of Heaven. Matthew 5:19

First Kings 18:20-39, Psalm 16 & Matthew 5:17-19

Sometimes in life, we find challenges from God without knowing He’s asking us to believe in Him above all other “things” in the world to once and for all rid our doubts of His Power. The people of Elijah’s time thought they could match the Power of God in seeking power from nothing as where Elijah mocked them as He proved by God’s Divine Power He is the LORD of all sending His flame of proof to consume the Altar and dry up the excess water pulled over the bull. As Elijah said, “the God Who answers with fire, is God indeed.”

We find ourselves challenging God in every facet of our lives seeking not His Will but the fleeting pleasure of lust, flesh and greed. It’s when we truly trust God’s Divine Plan for our lives that we start to live in Communion with His Will to live for His Decrees teaching only what is said to be True from God’s Holy Word. Jesus reminds us today that living the Word of God allows us to understand that He has fulfilled the Law accomplishing all the Prophets foretold. Remember to call on the Name of God often throughout the day and seek His Truth to guide your every thought, action and deed. Amen.

Today I’d like to recognize a person who teaches the Word of God by her thoughts, actions and deeds to live a surrendered life of faith, hope and love. Her fervent love of Jesus Christ is a true example of giving your all to living for God’s Divine Plan. She is kind, loving and beautiful and today she celebrates her birthday. Happy birthday to my amazing wife Antonia Cruz-Wiggins! XOXO

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today we call upon Your Name often seeking to teach the Decrees of Your Truth in thought, action and deed. We pray today for guidance to live in Your Will for Your Glory. We pray for Toni’s birthday. We pray for Steve a homeless vet. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Your light must shine in people’s sight, so that, seeing your good works, they may give praise to your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-12-2012

Your light must shine in people’s sight, so that, seeing your good works, they may give praise to your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16

First Kings 17:7-16, Psalm 4 & Matthew 5:13-16

I believe many people have a hard time seeing the Light of Christ in the eyes of people who are homeless, elderly or scared. You see the dirt, shadows of empty thoughts and the eyes of nervous people who mask the presence of God’s Son but not His Spirit. The Spirit of God rests on us all allowing us to shine in the places of dark better than a flash of a flame. Jesus tells us our “light must shine in people’s sight, so that, seeing your good works, they may give praise to your Father in heaven.”

Obviously, when we allow our Light to shine, we attract people of need but God specifically wants us to place action in evangelization to witness to the people who can’t see you because they are hidden where they sleep in bushes, hidden in rooms of solitudal death or lurking in the shadows of fear. We must place deed in our conscious and look for ways to live God’s Surrender of Action by finding the people who lack the most providing faith, hope and love. They are on every corner. They live in every neighborhood. They avoid you at work. Give Christ’s love and find His eyes shining in their appeal.

Living the Shine of Christ is placing God First allowing all of life’s needs, wants and happenings to fall into place for His Will. Our Light of Christ can shine by sticker or a shirt. His Truth can be in a courtesy in complement to boost. Our Light can shine on vacations too. The World is your playing field to spread Christ’s redemption proof. Be not afraid of strangers who disapprove. God is your Light to live and to approve. Amen.

Dear God, we pray today to shine a Light of Your love for all to see. We pray for peace in a world full of shame. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

He was glad to see for himself that God had given grace, and he urged them all to remain faithful to the LORD with heartfelt devotion, Acts 11:23

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-11-2012

He was glad to see for himself that God had given grace, and he urged them all to remain faithful to the LORD with heartfelt devotion, Acts 11:23

“You received without charge, give without charge.” Matthew 10:8e

“Salute it.” Matthew 10:12b

Acts 11:21-26; 13:1-3, Psalm 98 & Matthew 10:7-13

Stop and think how you provide the LORD heartfelt devotion. Do you visit Jesus often? Do you adore Him in peace? Do you find His Strength in your wisdom? Do add your own feelings to His Decrees? Our America needs us more than ever supplying God’s Truth to every man, woman and teen. To reinstill the values our Founding Fathers lived in high regard for God’s self-esteem.

I love this Nation with my whole soul. My added being gives the deed action to wit. It is time for God-fearing Americans to establish their love of God to love the freedom we live. This land we walk across to find colors of Truth we all inherited to adore and nourish for free. We have all received without charge a land of Promise, created by men and women of He. Regardless of our problems, we align ourselves to relate. As Brothers and Sisters in union, with God’s Truth as our date.

We accept Christ’s Redemption in His Cross do we confide. We “Salute” His New Covenant Transformation nourished with His Body and Blood to chide. I beg you all to research these words of passion and commit to bringing the faith seeking not the glory of person but the Glory of God to taste. I urge you all to remain faithful with devotion guided by God’s grace. Look into the eyes of many and find the eyes of Christ’s Light to face. Proclaim without taking but giving freely your service to our home of the brave. Fighting for Freedom of Religion is something we have to “Salute” each God-given day alone. Lift up the ones who witness seeking a service to display. Producing action as we eternally say, “God Bless America. God Bless the USA.” Amen.

Dear LORD, we pray today to remain faithful through all adversities. We pray to come together as One Body for Your Will LORD for America. We pray for the homeless, the sick and dying and the needs of the USA. Pray for each other to remain faithful to God’s Word. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God’s Family Covenant Dedication to Abigail “Then He took a cup, and when He had given thanks He handed it to them, and all drank from it, and He said to them, ‘This is My blood, the Blood of the Covenant, poured out for many.’” Mark 14:23-24

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-10-2012

Moses then took the blood and sprinkled it over the people, saying, ‘This is the Blood of the Covenant which Yahweh has made with you, entailing all these stipulations.’ Exodus 24:8

Then He took a cup, and when He had given thanks He handed it to them, and all drank from it, and He said to them, ‘This is My blood, the Blood of the Covenant, poured out for many.’ Mark 14:23-24

Exodus 24:3-11, Psalm 116 & Mark 14:12-26

A few days ago, I had trouble sleeping, dreams of confusion awakened by Christ’s Light. It was early for me to get up at 2:34 AM and pray but my soul was stirring and God’s Word beckoned my call. As I began my daily silent time with God, I had got as far as reading some passages from the Bible when I was steered away by the Holy Spirit to Second Timothy whereby Paul is telling Timothy to be never shaken or ashamed of the Gospel. I was surely being told my Uncle had gone for I know in my heart he wasn’t afraid to share the Gospel reminding me to celebrate every facet of God’s love continuing my Uncle’s joy of loving and knowing Jesus in your life.

“Apostle of Christ Jesus through the Will of God in accordance with His Promise of life in Christ Jesus. So you are never to be ashamed of witnessing to our LORD, or ashamed of me for being his prisoner; but share in my hardships for the sake of the Gospel, relying on the Power of God”. Second Timothy 1:1/8

Yes, he was gone, but I know he’d say “be not afraid of the confusion and follow the “stipulations” to the ‘T.’” The “stipulations” of course are God’s Covenant as being told to Moses by God to forever bind the people in faith, hope and love. The Covenant of course is Christ’s New Covenant of love we strive to live every day. My Uncle was gone as the memory of my first dolphin game swirled in my head, we’d be visiting my Grandmother Carter soon I thought to lay him to rest nest to her in a more than 100-year-old cemetery called Moody Tillman.

The Memorial Service was a special day for me because I am reminded how we are celebrating the life of a man who’s Covenant had never been broken with his wife of 54 years or his God. My Uncle Bob was a man who cherished God’s Word and enjoyed hearing his wife Mary sing a hymn and play the piano. As I sported my Jesus Face tie, I gazed across generations of families who came to say goodbye to a friend, a brother, a Grandpa, an uncle and a true man of God. A man who understood and lived the Covenant our Father established in Christ Jesus. I was awed by the meeting of a second cousin who stood by the casket yesterday with me weeping and stroking his hair.

As her Grandpa was laying in God’s Eternal Hands, she was looking up at me as I described his peacefulness he’s living in Heaven in his Eternal Resting Home. She reached out and embraced me in a knowing safety net of distant family love. Her embrace was heartfelt filled with the awe of Christ Who died for the sins of us all. Her tears mingling with mine as our silent trust of God’s Divine Plan held us in His Hands.

We talked often during the rest of the day whereby this little Child of God inspired me to write what we experienced in a poem. I told her noticing she was drawing pictures in a notepad that I’d like to write her a poem if she’d let me use some paper. She handed me the book with a smile and I sat down looking at her and my uncle for a while penning thoughts and feelings of how she has allowed God to impact our lives.

The results are compiled below because she copied the poem I read to her in front of the family so I could share it with the world today. Personal relationships guided by the Covenant of God inject a proven life of faith, hope and love. Families who embrace God’s Covenant live in His Protective Hands of Truth. I am honored to dedicate my study today to Abigail and the family of Bob Carter including his two sons Joe and Craig and Bonnie his daughter. May you all find God’s Truth your guide following the Light of Christ in all you do. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen. God Bless you!

Dear God, we pray to live Your Covenant in Christ’s Truth. We pray for families to find the strength God in every step they take. We pray for our traveling safety LORD. Use us to live for You. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Little Abigail, Grandpa taught you Christ’s Love

The grip was tender hearted

Her tears as real as rain

Love for Grandpa will last forever

Christ’s love will remain the same

We looked at his lifeless body

Full of peace going astray

A little girls Grandpa lay resting

A grown man’s uncle to pray

His peaceful resting meeting

Makes us both a family in awe

As distant cousins we’ll dance

With God in Heaven above

Know your tender hug was special

Grandpa felt the grip from above

He is dancing with Jesus Eternal

Little Abigail, Grandpa taught you Christ’s Love

Proclaim the message and, welcome or unwelcome, insist on it. Refute falsehood, correct error, give encouragement — but do all with patience and with care to instruct. Second Timothy 4:2

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-9-2012

Proclaim the message and, welcome or unwelcome, insist on it. Refute falsehood, correct error, give encouragement — but do all with patience and with care to instruct. Second Timothy 4:2

Second Timothy 4:1-8, Psalm 71 & Mark 12:38-44

Paul new the world would turn away from Truth as we materialize his prediction in the persecution of our God-given Freedom of Religion today. Many Americans demonstrated across the USA Friday to protect these freedom’s Paul instinctly knew would be tormented over 2000 years ago. “The time is sure to come when people will not accept sound teaching, but their ears will be itching for anything new and they will collect themselves a whole series of teachers according to their own tastes; and then they will shut their ears to the truth and will turn to myths.” 2nd Peter 4:3-4

I know, the harassment has been continual and always will be but our country created the home to Freedom of Religion for the world establishing a protected environment to love our God free from oppression in a cesspool of every culture known to man. We must continue to strive to alert any soul the wretched severity of our current situation by fasting, prayer and teaching. Paul reminds us we “must keep steady all the time; put up with suffering; do the work of preaching the gospel; fulfill the service asked of you.” 2nd Peter 4:5

As I looked into the eyes of people around me yesterday, I could sense a feeling of urgency to overcome the secular influence being pummeled into the very soul of every American man, woman and child. I spoke to people I have never met but they encouraged me to keep writing what God’s Truth means to our families, cities and the world. I encourage every person of religious authority to stop this madness by coming together continuously in defense of God’s Truth and strategize, plan and implement daily the process of educating every person and location you can cover.

Step-by-step, we must take the time to mobilize our efforts with more motivation for sharing God’s Truth. I know in my heart the majority of Americans want the values our Founding Fathers and Mothers instilled in our country’s core and we should pursue the education of our majority by morning, noon and night instilling faith, hope and love. Mobilize. Mesmerize. Materialize. Let’s be the heartbeat of God’s Eternal Eyes. Amen.

Dear God, we pray to proclaim the Message of Salvation to refute falsehood and give encouragement. We pray for my family as we lay to rest my Uncle Bob Carter in Jesup, Georgia. We pray for our traveling safety LORD. Use us to live for You. We pray for the people I met yesterday and the work they do for You LORD. We pray our Walk to Emmaus may always be with You my Lord and my God. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

He sends out a charge to all around

In the presence of Christ and God abound

They will judge the loving and the dead

Proclaiming the Word He assuredly read

Be persistent in convenience and inconvenience flirtation

Convince and reprimand with encouragement and libation

Using the Sound Doctrine of God’s Eternal Salvation

With patience and teaching using man’s Word of refutation

For toleration will end for those who are weak

Their won desires will live in curiosity’s peak

The insatiable curiosity of all false teachers’ leak

Stopping the listening of Truth we do speak

Now other myths will consume their soul

It’s our charge by God to illuminate the know

We must put up with hardship and ugliness to grow

In the work of evangelization of ministry to sow

Multitudes of libation for my departure is at hand

Paul might die soon leaving God’s Stand

He finished the race keeping the faith to the crown

Of righteousness awaiting me to appear kneeling down

2 Timothy 3:10-17, Psalm 119 & Mark 12:35-37

I can’t stop thinking about what it’ll take to motivate all people to action for the Truth in God’s Word instilling into humanity to rise up against the minority of secular enthusiasts who believe our world should be full of greed, excess and sin. As Americans, we naturally believe we can earn a profit in business, we can pray to our God, we can vote in and out people of office, and we can protest unjust laws seeking to allow the majority to rule.

What I have a hard time understanding, is why people can’t see the turmoil our country has created in this excessive way of living life has done to our children, our families and our communities. When I speak to people in public, I have many who say they are frightened for the first time in their lifetime thinking America is falling into civil unrest because people of faith aren’t going to stand back and allow our country to be destroyed by the beliefs of a secular world. I see more and more people turning to God’s Word for guidance to live a life of protection, purpose, and patience.

As I chatted to a friend in a local coffee shop, I noticed five women come and sit down near us with one of them carrying a Bible. As my friend and I began to part soon thereafter, we held hands praying aloud and I noticed the women were smiling looking over at us. I started to walk away but the LORD turned me around to compliment them on praying in public as well as the importance of coming together as one to accomplish the Will of God for a country feeling the strikes of secular desires.

People of faith everywhere are seeking out His Truth to understand their purpose. What can you do to share the Truth God’s Word instills in Humanity? It is my belief that we must turn to Scripture for guidance. We turn to Scripture for growth. We must turn to God’s Word to acclaim His Glory. For in His Word we find His Way is the only way to faith, hope, and love. Amen.

Please join me in prayer, Dear LORD, we pray today we find guidance in Your Word to guide our homes, communities, nation and the world to live in harmony for Your Glory. We pray for the homeless, the sick and dying and the needs of the USA. I pray LORD my strength in You never waivers. I pray that every man, women and child who reads my study finds Your strength too to come together as One for Your Truth. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

In fact, all who want to live religiously in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. Second Timothy 3:12

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-7-2012

In fact, all who want to live religiously in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. Second Timothy 3:12

David himself, inspired by the Holy Spirit, said: ‘The LORD said to my lord, “Sit at my right hand until I place your enemies under your feet.”’ Mark 12:36

2 Timothy 3:10-17, Psalm 119 & Mark 12:35-37

When you find yourself in the middle of someone being victimized whereby your decisions are made based on the Law of God, you’ll suffer consequences beyond your comprehension compelling you to fall victim or repent in the Good News of Christ Jesus. We are hearing more and more today where people of faith in commerce are being forced to do business with people who go against the Word of God or a people being forced by the government to pay for killing babies to abide by their rules in health care.

We all know it’s just wrong but we have to reflect on God’s Word and find His Strength to live religiously in Christ Jesus. We must acclaim His Sovereignty over our flesh and seek alternate solutions to the minority forcing the majority to do what they want by seeking excess, lust, and death over joy, forgiveness, and life. We have to turn to the Word of God and find answers to our action of response. As a faith becoming One Body in Christ, we must come together searching the Word of God to overcome the zealous pursuit of every corner of secular thoughts, action, and belief.

We must forgive and seek to overcome our regret of lost chances and wrong decisions. One does not become healed by chance, once becomes healed by living for God’s Truth. If God wanted you to die, you would die but God wants us to live to our fullest acclaiming His Truth to find joy beyond our wildest imaginations. He is challenging us now to overcome this forces excess of secularism by our strength in numbers that have been quiet for way too long.

If you are reading my words, then I am calling you to action by the Holy Spirit to acclaim God’s Word and find people who are being ignorant of this emergency and educate them on how to live in God’s Truth for the future of our children, our nation, and our world. Please, I am on my knees in prayer, seeking men, women, and children of faith to help God’s cause for harmony in our world.

We believe in our United States of America that we can earn a profit, we can pray to our God, we can vote in and out people of office, and we can protest unjust laws seeking to allow the majority to rule. In silent regret, we have sat back as God-fearing Christians for way too long knowing we ARE the majority. It is time to act. It is time for Truth to prevail. It is time to take our United States of America back. Be strong. Be fearful. BE Committed! Amen!

So we ask in prayer, Dear LORD, we pray today we can live religiously for the Truth of Your Son Christ Jesus. We pray for the family of my Uncle Bob Carter who passed away yesterday. I pray LORD my strength in You never waivers. I pray that every man, women and child who reads my study finds Your strength too to come together as One for Your Truth. When you follow Paul’s Way of life

You are bound to encounter people of strife

Living religiously for the LORD

Will make you a target of the secular horde

We must live for purpose, faith, patience, and love

Enduring persecutions and sufferings for God’s Only Son

Yet endure following the Truth by love you have won

Forgiveness for living in sin to never be shun

Just as Paul you will be delivered

To grow old with hair of silver

While the bad get worse starting to quiver

Run quick and be Baptized in the local river

Remain faithful to His Truth abound in His care

Teaching His Children to understand His flair

Written in Sacred Scripture to eternally dare

To give you wisdom and salvation with love to spare

Every Word you read is Sacred and True

Useful for teaching His Heavenly Truth

Use for refutation and correction of abuse

Belonging to God confident and equipped to use

So you are never to be ashamed of witnessing to our LORD, or ashamed of me for being his prisoner; but share in my hardships for the sake of the Gospel, relying on the Power of God. Second Timothy 1:8

Wig’s Word of God Today 6-6-2012

Apostle of Christ Jesus through the Will of God in accordance with His promise of life in Christ Jesus. So you are never to be ashamed of witnessing to our LORD, or ashamed of me for being his prisoner; but share in my hardships for the sake of the Gospel, relying on the Power of God. Second Timothy 1:1/8

Second Timothy 1:1-12, Psalm 123 & Mark 12:18-27

Today in Second Timothy, Paul is reminding us to stay focused on our gift of Christ’s Gospel to know His Passion, Perfection and Purpose. He asks us to never be timid when living the Gospel of Christ seeking not our own pleasures of the flesh but fan the flames of living for the pleasure of faith, charity and love.

By the Will of God I humbly bow before His Truth daily to witness from my knees how to live as an Apostle of Christ Jesus in accordance with His Promise for I have never been ashamed to speak of His Truth to anyone, anytime or anywhere. I am His prisoner sharing in the hardships for the sake of the Gospel knowing my practice, prayer and preaching are guided by His Truth to live for His Will.

Night and day I thank God whom I serve with a pure conscience as my ancestors did. I remember you in my prayers constantly night and day; That is why I am reminding you now to fan into a flame the gift of God that you possess through the laying on of my hands. God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but the Spirit of power and love and self-control.” Second Timothy 1:5-7

Many times I will share with you how easy it is to talk to complete strangers about Christ’s Truth. Yesterday, I pulled up to get gas running into an Emmaus Brother at the pump. Seen or unseen, if you need an Emmaus Brother just pray. After hugging (un Abrazo), he finished off filling his tank and left and a man pulled up whom I began to chat to.

When I finished talking to him, I said, “God Bless You” experiencing what I call as a Christ-like reply. “God Bless You too. How nice it is to hear a man say God Bless You without hesitation.” I pray we all can fulfill the Kingdom of God’s request of being people of faith not afraid or “ashamed for the sake of the Gospel, relying on the Power of God.” Amen.

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to live for Christ’s Gospel sharing in the joys as well as the hardships of life to live for Your Will LORD. We pray for the new Emmaus Brothers beginning our study together today LORD. We pray for guidance LORD to live as only a Disciple knows how. We pray for family, friends and strangers alike who struggle with and/or celebrate Your love. Shout out to Braulio of love and prayers. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

The Salvation of Christ he gave his life to present- Second Timothy 1:1-12

Timothy was like his brother

Learned to preach like no other

Paul his mentor he smothered

Living for Christ’s Will as a lover

Of the promise of a life in Christ

To Timothy his dear child for advice

Grace, Mercy and Peace from God to suffice

Guided by the Truth of Christ’s Eternal Light

Paul shared his gratefulness of God

Worshipping daily by His Staff and Rod

In a clear conscious as his ancestors did

Prayers for you are constant with a nod of my lid

In His Reason I remind you to stir

The Flame of Christ His Gift to incur

By the laying of hands your spirit concurred

No cowardice blood in your will to deter

Sin from laying his hands on you

By power, self-control and love will you prove

You are never ashamed of testimony True

Nor of me a prisoner of God’s Eternal Truth

I see the hardship you bare for the Gospel spoils

Facing them with strength coming from His toils

He called us to Holiness void of ugly boils

In His works not our own design of loyals

His grace was evident before time began

Manifest and made to be Kingdom’s stand

Christ Jesus lived by His Father’s Holy Hands

Savior of the world Truth’s Foundation command

Death destroyed where immortality is scene

By the Light of Truth His Gospel to believe

Appointed as preacher, Apostle and teacher

Paul was unashamed of the sufferings feature

If only we’d all believe as I do in Him

Whom the world hated as the Father’s Kin

Established confidence in Paul to guard His defense

The Salvation of Christ he gave his life to present
