Consider the patience of our LORD as Salvation, as our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, also wrote to you, speaking of these things as he does in all his letters. In them there are some things hard to understand that the ignorant and unstable distort to their own destruction, just as they do the other scriptures. Second Peter 3:15-16

 

Second Peter 3:12-18, Psalm 90 & Mark 12:13-17

 

There has been false teaches since the beginning of time that creates illusions based upon their own desires and needs. Unlike Christ in every way, false teachers use their immorality to point out the promised coming of God had not occurred after the first wave of Christians began dying out insinuating that God had left them and the world behind to fend for themselves describing Jesus and Scripture as useless giving way to vulgar, lust and sin.

 

We are reminded to extort deliberate patience in Christ growing in grace and knowledge eliminating doubt by avoiding the dangers of error and loss of stability due to false teachings. In our own effort, we are to focus on the strength afforded to us by the Holy Spirit through studying the Bible daily, praying unceasingly over everything we do and sharing the Good News of Christ to people everywhere. “Consider the patience of our LORD as Salvation.”

 

In this, he advises there will be many things “the ignorant and unstable distort to their own destruction” but he advises us to listen to the wisdom given to Paul that he has written in all his letters. Paul’s sacrifice and praise comes from a first-hand knowledge given to him by God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit to guide humanity to strengthen our pardon, patience and purpose living only for the Will of God.

 

In our practice, prayer and preaching we find his wisdom as the guide Christ intended for us to follow leading us to the full knowledge of grace in Christ Jesus. Be Patient. Know His Pardon. Live for His Purpose. Amen.

 

Let us pray: Dear LORD, we pray to always be patient living for Your Truth guided by Your Spirit. We pray for a special intention at my school to be resolved in Truth with minimal hurt feelings. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Second Peter 1:2-7, Psalm 21 & Mark 12:1-12

 

How do you support the faith? The faith you live everyday to accomplish the Will of God. When Peter wrote his letter, he was addressing people who were once alienated from their beliefs by a society that shunned their desires to know God and embrace His Truth in every way possible. He was explaining to them to act in goodness with understanding allowing self-control to persevere in devotion being kind to one another expressing the love Christ instilled in the hearts of all humanity.

 

I see this everyday in my local community of Brothers and Sisters who lift each other up in thought, prayer and deed. It’s amazing sometimes to see the Spirit of God working in men who are working with complete strangers. I know it’s important to share the love of God with our family, neighbors and co-workers but to see the impact God’s Truth can have on a complete stranger enables something inside you that radiates in your veins, heart and soul as a warmth of comfort like no other. It’s God’s Eternal Spirit of Love wrapped as One around you, which is as easy to share as saying 1, 2, 3.

 

I often talk about the Three P’s of living God’s Will to share the joy of knowing His Truth- of understanding His Forgiveness of all sin. For me, once I began living in this surrendered relationship of Christ’s love and Salvation, I began to see how easy and important it is to reach out to people around you by living in practice, prayer and preaching in your appearance- this is as simple as wearing a Cross or a t-shirt with God’s Message of Hope. It’s as easy as saying thank you to somebody for blessing their departure of another person. When I notice this, I always approach them and say “thank you” for taking the time to enable God’s love.

 

As a society of believers and non believers alike, we are afforded to express ourselves with faith, hope and love. I pray everyday we build up our society to be unafraid to witness this unity. A friend wrote a reply to my dark encounter recently sharing what a priest once told her that even in the in the darkest of times, we must know God gift of faith is there. “In my own much much longer periods of emptiness is to try to remember that when we are feeling the most furthest away from God and in the darkest dark,  that is when God’s gift of Faith to us is the strongest – because all we are surviving on is Faith alone.”

 

Living in this faith of surrender can guide us through even the darkest of dark where goodness prevails living in an understanding of self control accomplishing perseverance instilled by the kindness we live for one another. When we begin seeing one another as a Brother and Sister in Christ, we live a desire to share God’s Eternal Spirit of Love given to us through His Son our LORD Jesus Christ. Here lies the rescue, recovery and resistance we need to live a life free from sin. A life in community. It’s as easy as 1,2,3. Amen.

 

So we ask in prayer: Dear LORD, we pray today to support our faith with goodness, understanding, self-control, perseverance, devotion, kindness and love. We pray to be STRONG for Your Purpose LORD in forgiveness and love. For in You we acclaim all glory. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

The Spirit Himself joins with our spirit to bear witness that we are Children of God. Romans 8:16

 

Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations; baptize them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to observe all the commands I gave you. And look, I am with you always; yes, to the end of time. Matthew 28:19-20

 

Deuteronomy 4:32-34, 39-40, Psalm 33, Romans 8:14-17 & Matthew 28:16-20

 

How often do you sit and meditate/pray that He is the God of all and there is no other? There comes a time when we musty acknowledge His Omnipotence above all else and live in a relationship with Him to accomplish His Will. Many of us will struggle with this but God has other plans for you that you may not understand now allowing you to live under His Grace through all adversity. There is nothing gained until something is lost and that’s your own will to live in God’s Will.

 

Take for instance the HHS Mandate set forth to dictate how and what a person of faith is supposed to overlook when using a federally mandated healthcare system. This mandate will be forcing people of faith to pay for abortions, contraception and sterilization all of which goes against the Biblical beliefs a majority of Christians believe and act upon holding the sanctity of life as precious and belonging to God alone. Now what is lost is our religious freedom to act upon our beliefs instead we are being forced to live according to the Secular belief that goes against our moral understandings of God’s Truth.

 

What will be gained is a Unity of all faiths to align our God-given rights as indicated in the massive amount of lawsuits filed to stop this abuse of power. I have a sticker on my rear car window that reads: “government is not my God.” I hope it reminds people to “Grasp this today and meditate on it carefully: Yahweh is the true God, in heaven above as on earth beneath, He and no other.”

 

Religious Freedom is something we hold very dear in America as the true Foundation of America’s birth. The government was formed to eliminate the threat of religious opposition giving Americans the right to believe as they believe and we vowed to never allow any other ideology to rape our belief.

 

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

 

I believe the movie “for Greater Glory” describes what we are experiencing today here in the USA where our Religious Freedoms are being challenged and removed. It is time to rise up and be counted as “Children of God” who will not stand for our religious freedoms to be trampled on like blades of grass in a field of filth. The Spirit Himself will join our spirits and solidify our place in history to bear True Witness to God. We must teach as God has instructed. Amen.

 

My LORD and my God, we pray today to have enough courage to fight for what we believe in. We pray the Your Spirit will join ours to live a life of faith, hope and love. We pray for Clair Ford and her family. We pray for the team and candidates in the St. Louis Men’s Emmaus. We pray to be STRONG for Your Purpose LORD in forgiveness and love. John’s baptism, what was its origin, heavenly or human? Answer me that. Mark 11:30

Do you know you’re supposed to be snatching up those sinners around you by the surrender you have for Christ’s Truth. “To some you must be compassionate because they are wavering; others you must save by snatching them from the fire; to others again you must be compassionate but wary, hating even the tunic stained by their bodies.” Jude 1:22-23 The beauty of His Salvation is your life and must be given over to living His Gospel in thought, action and deed.

 

We must continue “praying in the Holy Spirit” to drive us even more when the Evil One’s thoughts grip your thoughts but “God Forbid” actions. I often think of how people experience the “dark night of the soul” as described by Mother Theresa. I must admit it happened to me Thursday night and Friday most of the day seeking out confession and spiritual counseling taking me from the haze of doubt to the Light of Belief  by the love God has instilled in the hearts of men who build each other up in amazing certainty.

 

I agree with many Biblical scholars that this ever present possibility of “darkness” must be silenced by the continued practice, prayer and preaching that allows you to live a life of full surrender. Surround yourselves with people who you can call out to and build each other up “to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our LORD, be glory, majesty, authority and power, before all ages, now and for ever. Amen.”

 

By the Father, Son and Holy Ghost we pray to build up our love by our practice, prayer and preaching. We pray for the team and candidates in the St. Louis Men’s Emmaus. Whoever preaches, let it be with the words of God; whoever serves, let it be with the strength that God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. First Peter 4:11

 

Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours. When you stand to pray, forgive anyone against whom you have a grievance, so that your heavenly Father may in turn forgive you your transgressions. Mark 11:24-26

Can any of us say we’ve made a real surrender to Christ’s Salvation in every way? Do we turn to God’s Word when we feel the pull of sinful pride. Do you assume the “I just look at porn every now-n-then attitude?” My thoughts really don’t wonder that much when I look at a beautiful persons point of view? I’m overworking to sustain my family not realizing I’m driving myself away by assuming a posture of distance to the ones that love me the most- who are the most.

 

Do we live in a world where everyone believes the “End of all Things is Near” enthralling humanity to live sinless, reckless and out of control? Well, whoever preaches better stick to the Word of God grasping His Truth first forgiving anyone their transgressions preaching the Name of Jesus Christ to be glorified. Amen.

 

We pray my LORD and my God Your sobering love will keep us serious minded at all times knowing Your are there to give us strength by the Word of Your Heart. We pray for countless people in the St. Louis Men’s Emmaus who we pray for every day. We pray for my Uncle Bob whose sister is my dear mother. We pray for Your Purpose LORD. In brotherly love let your feelings of deep affection for one another come to expression and regard others as more important than yourself. Romans 12:10

 

My soul proclaims the Greatness of the LORD and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior. Luke 1:46-47

 

Romans 12:9-16, Isaiah 12:2-3, 4, 5-6 & Luke 1:39-56

 

Do you regard the other person more important than yourself? Stop and think about this for a moment: Do you at least try to hear the other person’s need more than yourself ? God made us to be more than just selfish animals looking for the next round of excitement, advantage or meal, God made you to take into account the needs of people around you in a fashion of faith, hope and love.

 

It’s kind-of-like giving someone a true Godly hug or just a quick peck on the cheek. You can feel the true expression of regard and deep affection for one another in a Godly hug. It’s a deep-down sensational embrace you walk away from refreshed, refocused and rejuvenated. It’s a feeling that allows your soul to proclaim the Greatness of the LORD feeding your Spirit to live for God your Savior. Paul explains in Romans 12: 11-15 that this type of brotherly love does more than just accept life for your own benefit but to accomplish more for God’s Kingdom being eager to fulfill God’s Service. Amen.

 

In the service of the LORD, work not halfheartedly but with conscientiousness and an eager spirit. Be joyful in hope, persevere in hardship; keep praying regularly; share with any of God’s holy people who are in need; look for opportunities to be hospitable. Bless your persecutors; never curse them, bless them. Rejoice with others when they rejoice, and be sad with those in sorrow.”

 

We pray by God, His Son and His Spirit to love not in word or speech but in deed and truth expressing true brotherly love for one another living to accomplish Your Will Father. We pray for countless people who are dear to us especially our family, our children and our friends. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Sincere is the love we seek so dear

Evil is what we hate and should always fear

Avoiding evil intentionally steering clear

But holding on to what is good in God’s love to peer

 

Mutual affection grants honor unspoken

With anticipation never leave a person broken

Use zeal of God’s love as love’s tender token

Not being slack for God’s Kingdom spoken

 

A fervent spirit is God’s Eternal choice

Serve the LORD in more than a spoken voice

Rejoice in hope over ugliness and noise

Endure in affliction with honor and poise

 

Prayer of perseverance awakens the soul

Daily count your blessings with friends you know

Since by your obedience to the Truth you have purified yourselves so that you can experience the genuine love of brothers, love each other intensely from the heart; for your new birth was not from any perishable seed but from Imperishable Seed, the Living and Enduring Word of God. First Peter 1:22-23

 

Anyone who wants to become great among you must be your servant, and anyone who wants to be first among you must be slave to all. Mark 10:43-44

 

First Peter 1:18-25, Psalm 147 & Mark 10:32-45

 

There is a theme for humanity that cannot be overlooked today in First Peter, which is by your obedience to God’s Word you will purify yourself to experience “genuine love” radiating intensely form your heart by the “Imperishable Seed, the Living and Enduring Word of God.” When you become submissive to God’s Truth, every step of life is laid out for you to come into contact with the people, habits and places to accomplish all by God’s Will.

 

If you surround yourself with Truth, you’ll find yourself living God’s Will of His Truth in these people, habits and places by which you have been Divinely guided by God’s Holy Plan for you and your life. Make no mistake about it by exercising your Free Will to live for God’s Truth or experience the headaches of living for self and sin. There are times I would “wish” I was dead instead of looking for God’s Truth to guide me eternally to expiate my sins and lead me in the right direction.

 

It took only a realigning of my desires to accomplish all for the “Glory of God” to know I am Saved by the Blood of a Lamb and I should be living in “prayer” instead of living by a “wish.” Once I realized I could no longer “wish” my way out of things and I must concentrate on living God’s Truth did my life become a servant to anyone, anytime and anywhere. When I lived firsthand the emptiness of living homeless and scared, I knew God’s Will was directing me to seek out these desperate people to provide them with God’s faith, hope and love.

 

I prayed instead of wishing to help these people and created my “Trunk of Comfort” for any homeless person I could find or come across in my daily travels. Yesterday, I met a man who was walking along in tattered clothes, shuffling to keep a worn out pair of sandals from coming off his feet. When I pulled over and asked him if he’d like a new pair of shoes, he smiled a smile only Christ could give him and shuffled on over in a pair of sandals that had holes in the bottom and were about to fall apart.

 

I picked him out a pair of perfect fitting sneakers to cover as he described “my aching swollen feet” and a t-shirt praying with him before he left to be guided by God’s Truth. He sat down and placed the shoes on his feet instantly losing his shuffle turning it into a bounce of joy. We are all called by God to do more for the less fortunate in hope and action keeping away from living by a wish and truly living in God’s prayer. I stay clear of saying “good luck” to anyone and instead say, “my prayers are with you.” Amen

 

Dear God, we pray to be obedient to your Truth allowing us to experience genuine love for one another. We pray to be Your Servant to share Your Son’s Salvation with all. We pray for Peter Fusco and his family. Please give him Your faith, hope and love to understand Your Will LORD. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

As obedient children, be yourselves holy in all your activity, after the model of the Holy One who calls us, since Scripture says, ‘Be holy, for I am Holy. 1st Peter 1:15-16

 

Many who are first will be last, and the last, first. Mark 10:31

 

First Peter 1:10-16, Psalm 98 & Mark 10:28-31

 

It’s hard not to be obedient when you study the Bible every day looking for God’s Word to direct your every step- your every thought to accomplish His Will. I agree we are all sinners but I also agree that the LORD’s Word directs us to be Holy as stated in 1 Peter 1:15-16. “As obedient children, be yourselves holy in all your activity, after the model of the Holy One who calls us, since Scripture says, ‘Be holy, for I am Holy.”

 

I can recall with vivid memories of embarrassment of not seeking the LORD’s Will but looking to accomplish what my selfish pleasures of sin would induce me to achieve. When I learned how to be obedient, I learned to live in God’s grace every step of the way and I look to share His Grace with anyone, anytime and anywhere. My stance on the issues have swung to Biblical understandings where I seek not to “vote” or “align” with anyone who does not follow the Word of God to the letter. If you have any questions, read your Bible and let God direct your allegiance to His Truth. Amen.

 

Some 20 years ago, I began the process of becoming Baptized entering the joys of knowing God in my life as I worked to overcome the struggles of everyday sin. While I didn’t surrender completely that day, I did encounter the first will be last statement often as I approached the Baptismal waters for people kept saying “many who are first will be last, and the last, first” because I was the last in line to become Baptized. From that day on, it has never bothered me that I was last in anything for I knew God would instill the right to be first by my commitment to His Word.

 

Dear God, we pray to always be obedient to Your Word. We pray to live in a state of holiness for Your Purpose. We pray for strength to accomplish Your Will in all we do. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

First Peter 1:3-9, Psalm 11 & Mark 10:17-27

 

I have had an unexplainable night filled with nausea, body aches and fever. Please forgive me for getting my study out so late. Yet, I feel the joy amongst the pain that is so glorious it seems impossible for me to describe. We’ve all felt this indescribable joy in the midst of sorrow, regret and distress leading us to ask how God can make us feel so good while living something so bad.

 

We should just enjoy His Glorious Salvation in all aspects of life’s situations. I know, it’s easier said than done but God does give us this Free Will to overcome by His Everlasting Divine Word to see us through each situation regardless of the incline. Soon Peter in Chapter 3 will remind us to show honor and understanding to our wives, keep our tongues and live life in humble servitude for God’s Will.

 

Finally, all of you, be of one mind, sympathetic, loving toward one another, compassionate, humble. Do not return evil for evil, or insult for insult; but, on the contrary, a blessing, because to this you were called, that you might inherit a blessing. For: “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep the tongue from evil and the lips from speaking deceit, must turn from evil and do good, seek peace and follow after it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears turned to their prayer, but the face of the LORD is against evildoers.” 1 Peter 3:8-11

 

Dear LORD, we pray to always see You in everything we do. We pray to live in faith hope and love for Your Purpose. We pray for Natesha Davis and the family’s peace in this difficult time. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-27-2012

 

We hear them preaching in our own language about the marvels of God. Acts 2:11c

 

Nobody is able to say, ‘Jesus is LORD’ except in the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:3c

Acts 2:1-11, Psalm 104, First Corinthians 12:3-7, 12-13 & John 20:19-23

 

It’s hard to believe Pentecost is already here as the lives of us all seemingly flies by at a moments notice. No doubt the Apostles felt the same way when they were in the Upper Room huddled in secret looking for a way to share the Truth of God’s Only Son Christ Jesus. What was once secret became the dose of courage that would bring about the “Good News” Jesus preached to the ends of the earth.

 

As the Wind of Fire swirled around their heads landing on each of them, I can only imagine what it must have been like to first experience the Holy Spirit in each of them as they stood up and began dancing in the Spirit speaking in languages anyone who was near could understand and rejoice “about the marvels of God.” No longer afraid of entering the public’s eye, each of them left the “Upper Room” to live in and share God’s Spirit of Truth.

 

I’ve noticed more and more that people who seek to share the Love of God in all areas of their life seem to have that ability to live in the Spirit of God garnishing faith, sharing hope and providing God’s love where people expect it less. They approach life differently seeking not an ordinary everyday life of selfish pursuits but one of Godly direction in practice, prayer and preaching.

 

It’s as if the Spirit of God rests on their shoulder directing them daily in the never-ending bravery, voice and love of God to encourage, educate and entice the lives of people lacking Christ’s faith to live in a state of God’s Promised Joy. People sometimes ask me how to seek this bond with God’s Spirit in thought, action and deed.

 

I often will comment that living God’s Will is an individual thing that must come from the heart of your own “Free Will” seeking a personalized way of living for God and God alone. Begin in practice of God’s Word daily lifting you in prayer often sharing the Good News to anyone, anytime and anywhere. Remember to always be faithful to the biblically-based principles afforded you by the Word of God. You will find His Truth beginning to work on your heart to accomplish the directives the Holy Spirit will share with you and you alone. Be ready to know God’s Joy in every area of your life. Amen.

 

Dear LORD, we pray to find the Spirit of God’s Truth in every corner of our lives. We pray live in the Holy Spirit’s courage of faith, hope and love. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

In your soul to eternally obey

 

For all kinds of gifts come from One Spirit

Different forms of service to live in It

All from the same LORD Who gives True witness

The manifestation of the Spirit for your life’s benefit

 

Just as the body have many parts

All part of the same body of God’s smarts

Anyone can receive it that has a beating heart

We were all given to drink of one Spirit to start
