Proclaiming the Kingdom of God and teaching the Truth about the LORD Jesus Christ with complete fearlessness and without any hindrance from anyone. Acts 28:31

Proclaiming the Kingdom of God and teaching the Truth about the LORD Jesus Christ with complete fearlessness and without any hindrance from anyone. Acts 28:31

There was much else that Jesus did; if it were written down in detail, I do not suppose the world itself would hold all the books that would be written. John 21:25

Acts 28:16-20, 30-31, Psalm 11 & John 21:20-25

Paul was ordered to Rome where he took up a rented residence under the watchful eye of a guard and proceeded to preach the Gospel for the next two yeas with fervor accepting anyone who knocked at his door to come in and hear the Good News. If I were alive in this time, I would have no doubtably knocked on his door and marveled at his teachings of Christ Jesus. I think humanity will never stop asking the question: What is life and Who does it come from.

There are times I have sought to find a spiritual advisor who could help lead me in His Truth for we all need someone to “kick around” Biblical thoughts and ideas searching to find God’s Spirit in each minute step we take in God’s Divine Will for our life. My wife and I daily discuss the surrender of studying Scripture. Maybe by reading poetry or just reading God’s Word in prayer. There’s something to be said about a couple who prays together stays together. She is an awesome spiritual advisor. Amen!

While the young grow older, the older prays to stay young. I think living God’s Will allows you to be forever young surrounded in His Mantle of Truth. Do you ever wonder what it is like to live in a young kind-of-feeling that allows your surrender to be fearless proclaiming the Kingdom of God and teaching the Truth about the LORD Jesus Christ? How can you live your life fearless for God’s Truth? Do you find God’s youthful mentality by your desire, determination and daring proclamation of God’s Truth? Seek what forms a bond with God in thought, action and deed. Be fearless!

Dear God, we pray to live in complete fearlessness of proclaiming the love of Christ. We pray for the babies dying at the abortion clinic as well as the prayer warriors we’ll join this morning on 117th and Sunset. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Jesus asked a third time, ‘Do you love Me? and (Peter) said, ‘LORD, You know everything; You know I love you.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Feed my sheep.’ John 21:17d

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-25-2012

Yes, LORD, you know I love you. John 21:15e

Yes, LORD, you know I love you. John 21:16d

Jesus asked a third time, ‘Do you love Me? and (Peter) said, ‘LORD, You know everything; You know I love you.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Feed my sheep.’ John 21:17d

Acts 25:13-21, Psalm 103 & John 21:15-19

If Jesus asked you three times in a row if you love Him, you’d be downcast too as Peter was when he answered repeatedly, “Yes, LORD, you know I love you. Yes, LORD, you know I love you. LORD, You know everything; You know I love you.” Jesus appears to be asking Peter to rebuke his earlier denial of Christ three times by saying he loves Him three times in a row.

Jesus is obviously appointing Peter the head of His Church to guide His flock to maturity giving Peter forgiveness of his earlier denial of him after his arrest. Why did Jesus appoint the man who denied Him the leader of His Church? I believe in my heart Peter was appointed as the Rock the Church would be built on because Jesus knew Peter would not deny Him again and had confidence in Peter to proclaim the Gospel with fervor.

Is there someone you have denied love more than just three times and realized later you were misguided and truly love that person more than you thought? Where and how can you make up for ugliness and sin against anyone you know you have wronged? The answer is very simple and that’s by simply asking for forgiveness and seeking to follow God’s Word of feeding His Sheep.

In focusing on feeding the sheep of God and placing God first I everything you do, you will find His love more abundant in the small things that make up for the big mistakes made in acts if sin. Seek to share the God’s Truth with people and walk and talk of His Redemption. This takes time and only God knows the hour and time of true forgiveness by someone you may have hurt with repeated disrespect.

Be diligent in knowing His Way and finding people to share faith, charity and love. God’s forgiveness is immediate. Mortal forgiveness sometimes takes years. In your surrender, find time as no object and know God will soften the heart of anyone you may have hurt by practice, prayer and preaching. Amen.

Dear LORD, we pray to focus on Christ’s love in everything we do knowing His forgiveness is everlasting. We pray LORD we feed Your sheep with faith, charity and love. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Courage! You have borne witness for Me in Jerusalem, now you must do the same in Rome. Acts 23:11

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-24-2012

Courage! You have borne witness for Me in Jerusalem, now you must do the same in Rome. Acts 23:11

I pray not only for these but also for those who through their teaching will come to believe in Me. John 17:20

Acts 22:30; 23:6-11, Psalm 16 & John 17:20-26

I believe with all my heart and soul that it takes as much if not more courage to live in today’s world than it did 2000 years ago. You have to think about the fact that these men were only a dozen strong needing some sort of help from the other side of persecution and the hunter of them all that was handed to them bore as much courage as the rest of them if not more.

Paul lived a life of true courage in God once his conversion took place on the Road to Damascus. The word “surrender” comes to mind as you move forward in loving God with all your heart, your entire mind and all of your action. If you bear witness to Jesus Christ as the Son of God, then you take on a Spiritual Courage to share His Salvation with anyone, anytime and anywhere.

You must allow the Holy Spirit to move your mind, heart and deeds to suffocate your fear and be forthcoming in God’s Divine Plan for your life with courage! Christ Himself gives us His Promise in prayer today in John 17 to further our courage in proclaiming the Truth above all other duties in life.

You must live in this courage knowing Jesus Christ is giving you the strength to “walk the walk and talk the talk” without fear of persecution. In brevity, I proclaim with confidence the infinity God’s Truth will have on you and the people around you. Be strong and take courage! Amen.

Dear God, we pray to live in Christ’s courage to share His Truth of Salvation for anyone in our lives. We pray LORD You will steady our courage to be a person of action to accomplish Your Will LORD above all things. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

By every means I have shown you that we must exert ourselves in this way to support the weak, remembering the words of the LORD Jesus, who Himself said, “There is more happiness in giving than in receiving.” Acts 20:35

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-23-2012

By every means I have shown you that we must exert ourselves in this way to support the weak, remembering the words of the LORD Jesus, who Himself said, “There is more happiness in giving than in receiving.” Acts 20:35

Consecrate them in the Truth; Your Word is Truth. As you sent Me into the world, I have sent them into the world, and for their sake I consecrate Myself so that they too may be consecrated in Truth. John 17:17-19

Acts 20:28-38, Psalm 68 & John 17:11-19

I believe Paul is reminding us to support those who are weak in God’s Word allowing the learned so to speak to remember there are many who cannot understand God’s Truth. It is our duty as His Disciples to educate those who are less fortunate than us in ability to share and embrace those who are struggling to understand God’s Word.

Many of us live in this Spiritual Uncertainty that cause us to live in a state of bewilderment, perplexity and disorder seeking not the Will of God but refusing to educate our minds with His Truth. We are puzzled at life’s questions and will remain debating them in our minds instead of acting on God’s force of evidential proof that surrounds us. We want to make and conduct our lives on our own instead of seeking the Path of God by our practice, prayer and preaching.

When we let even the smallest of things of our life be run by selfish thoughts and conclusions, we are not acting in God’s Divine Will but creating more Spiritual Uncertainty. We must learn to obey God’s Word in every step of our life seeking faith in thoughts, prayer in action and charity in love aligned with God’s Divine Purpose for life. You cannot conquer Spiritual Uncertainty without surrendering your life completely to God’s Will.

If you argue with God, you have not surrendered to God. If you continue to debate God’s Purpose for your life, then you are not conquering a complete surrender to obeying His Truth. When you let go and let God be God, your life becomes simple enjoying the Joy God intended humanity to embrace and fulfill. I’ve heard it said, “Don’t get mad, get even.” I say don’t get mad, get educated in His Word and obey His Decrees with faith, hope and love. Surrender. Amen.

Dear LORD, we pray to exert ourselves in sharing Your Truth. We pray LORD You will guide our Spiritual Uncertainty to obey Your Word and surrender our lives to Your Truth. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

I have without faltering put before you the whole of God’s purpose. Acts 20:27

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-22-2012

I have without faltering put before you the whole of God’s purpose. Acts 20:27

Just as you have given Him Power over all humanity, He may give Eternal Life to all those you have entrusted to Him. And Eternal Life is this: to know You, the only True God, and Jesus Christ Whom You have sent. John 17:2-3

Acts 20:17-27, Psalm 68 & John 17:1-11

Paul shared his entire life for Christ once he was struck blind on the road of persecution. Many of us lived on the very same road of persecution poisoning our minds, bodies and actions with chemicals and acts of disrespectful lust and obsession. We shared only the things we had to seeking only the act of selfish greed, pride and lust. Nothing mattered more than to obtain and work towards getting whatever your lustful desires was or is.

Sure, we shut out friends, co-workers and family but we didn’t care. We lived for us instead of living for God’s Purpose. We had no idea how to give without wanting something in return. We didn’t know how to seek God’s Truth continually to gain wisdom from His Knowledge in Word. We avoided talking to God in prayer by masking the desire with curtains of sin. We walked away from people who spoke about faith, charity and love as if they were poison.

We didn’t understand that living for God’s Purpose simply meant living as God Commands where He gives us His Joy to know Eternal Life. When we experience there is so much pleasure in learning the Bible, we become unafraid of study, prayer and speaking about God’s love.

God’s Purpose is to study His Love in His Word. God’s Purpose is to pray about everything we do giving Him all the Glory for everything in our lives. God’s Purpose is the preaching we do in thought, tongue and talents to live according to His Will. God’s Joy is abundant in living for God’s Purpose. I pray we learn to see God’s Purpose together as we whisper His Word in our practice, prayer and preaching. Amen.

I have surely lived the West Coast Jet Lag these past few days that included a 12-hour last day of walking then waiting, planes and swollen feet arriving home past one in the morning. We enjoyed my daughter’s wedding amongst the beauty of grape vines and majestic oak trees and pray for her and Mark daily as she begins her “Stern” new life of being a doctor and a wife. I am happy for them both. I thank my daughter for she has taken me on a journey I probably would have never taken. We were able to pray with some and talk to many living God’s Purpose as best as we can. I look forward to getting back to writing early and showing my students the adventure tomorrow at school.

Dear God, we pray to live in Your Purpose to accomplish Your Will. We pray to Glorify You LORD. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you became believers? Acts 19:2b

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-21-2012

Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you became believers? Acts 19:2b

Do you believe at last? John 16:31b

Acts 19:1-8, Psalm 68 & John 16:29-33

I often wonder if people around me I worship with feel the Holy Spirit in the same way I do? I’ve worshipped with a lot of different faiths witnessing the Holy Spirit move people in different ways. I’ve seen them speak in tongues dancing about as if they were under a trance. I’ve seen them laugh aloud and then all of a sudden uncontrollable sobbing as tears raced down their face.

I’ve seen men and women lose all inhibition amongst complete strangers dancing about shouting praises of love to an amazing God Who has given us the Spirit of Holy thoughts, action and deed. He is the Spirit of engagement reaching into your heart massaging your initiative, common sense, and your presence of mind.

You will receive Him in similar ways of every walker of the Way but you will act in your own way remembering your own experience. He will take your breath away in a moment’s notice opening the valve of tears where frowns leave your face and gladness brings the lips to curl. Ah, if only we’d believe then our lives would be full of purpose. We’d glorify Him in birth and death seeing all things as His Will.

I’ve learned God’s Law of Attraction works both ways: belief and unbelief. When you believe good things are going to happen, they happen. When you believe bad things are going to happen, it happens. I believe God wants us to live in a state of belief no matter what our circumstances are learning His Will has peace, power and purpose. We all can find Peace in hardship. We all can find Power in sharing His Truth. We all have a Purpose to glorify the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. They are One God, forever and ever. “Do you believe at last?” I sure do.

Together let us pray to the LORD that we all live in a state of belief living in Your Son’s Truth every step of the Way. I offer a prayer of thanksgiving for my daughter’s beautiful wedding yesterday. We pray for all people. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

My Daughter’s Consecrated Wedding Day “Consecrate them in the Truth; Your Word is Truth. As You sent Me into the world, I have sent them into the world, and for their sake I Consecrate Myself so that they too may be Consecrated in Truth.” John 17:17-19

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-20-2012

Consecrate them in the Truth; Your Word is Truth. As You sent Me into the world, I have sent them into the world, and for their sake I Consecrate Myself so that they too may be Consecrated in Truth. John 17:17-19

We have recognized for ourselves, and put our faith in, the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him. First John 4:16

Acts 1:15-17, 20-26, Psalm 103, First John 4:11-16 & John 17:11-19

Jesus describes our consecration as Word and Truth. He combines the elements of Yahweh to forever direct your daily walk in God’s Protective Hands. I remember consecrating my life to His Truth for it was the day my life changed forever. Everything about me is being used for His Purpose. My being was His in a total surrender. I have given everything in my life from that day on as being consecrated in His Truth. My mistakes would be righted by God’s Divine Plan.

Today I’m in California to see my daughters dream wedding (God-willing) at a local winery somewhere outside of San Francisco. My amazing little girl is getting married to her life-long best friend and soul-mate Mark. The Consecration of Life to one man is a model of God’s love for us. Now my “Precious” as I used to call her will have the man of her dreams who will consecrate his life to her as one body- one being in God. I am so awed by the thought of her marriage that I am sitting here in tears praying God will Consecrate their marriage to His Loving Protective Hands.

Let’s take a look a true love and how it relates to consecration of God’s love for us as I continue to pray for her marriage to be flawless filled with peace and love. Love will never leave your side just as God’s Word Consecrated to your life’s existence will guide you to Joy in His Truth. I pray Alexandra and Mark receive the pledge of Ruth remaining one forever in His Consecrated Word of Truth.

Wherever you go I will go, wherever you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people and your God, my God. Where you die I will die, and there be buried. May the LORD do thus to me, and more, if even death separates me from you!” Ruth 1:16-17

True love reflects a burning desire in one’s soul that reflects or mirrors the mate you consecrate your life to. In the Book of the Songs of Songs you’ll discover a verse in Chapter 8 that describes this burning desire of True Consecrated Love to God’s Purpose of marriage. There is no amount of money that can change it or distract it from its purpose.

I pray my child finds this type of love in her life each and every day. Love equals forgiveness. Love equals Truth. God’s love is Truth. May God’s Truth be in your life forever. I love you Alexandra. Mark, I know you’ll take good care of her- I love you too. Be one forever! Amen!

Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; For Love is strong as Death, longing is fierce as Sheol. Its arrows are arrows of fire, flames of the Divine. Deep waters cannot quench love, nor rivers sweep it away. Were one to offer all the wealth of his house for love, he would be utterly despised. Song of Songs 8:6-7

Dear Father God, we pray today for my daughter’s wedding to be consecrated to Your Truth. We pray You LORD direct us in peace, deed and love. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

He had been given instruction in the Way of the LORD and preached with great spiritual fervor. Acts 18:25

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-19-2012

He had been given instruction in the Way of the LORD and preached with great spiritual fervor. Acts 18:25

For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have come to believe that I came from God. John 16:27

Acts 18:23-28, Psalm 47 & John 16:23-28

I can look around me and see the people who lift me up in instruction to better equip me to follow the Way of the LORD whereby giving me the knowledge to preach with “great spiritual fervor.” Can you? Many of these people I see only once per week but one stays with me and resides in my soul every step of every day for she is my soul-mate in Christ instructing me daily to find God’s Truth in everything we do.

Yes, she’s my wife Toni who loves the LORD with all her heart and soul guiding her life with “great spiritual fervor.” I am amazed daily at her true desire to live her life in fervor for the LORD and the love we find in Christ gives us courage to instruct even nonbelievers with perseverance, persistence and purpose. We don’t always walk away from people winning their souls for His Kingdom but we instill in their hearts that all of God’s Children deserve to know His Way offers a life of peace, a life of power and a life of purpose.

Here in brevity I hope to instill in people that learning to live His Way is not as tough as it may seem. I think it takes a ton of weight off your shoulders and opens your soul up to experience God’s Law of Attraction. The ones you do attract are in need of His restful Arms of Salvation. By example you will show them peace, power and purpose to accomplish God’s Will. By your belief in Him not a single soul will ever have to remind you Christ’s own words of John 16:23. “Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My Name He will give you.” AMEN!

Dear Father, we pray to experience instruction of Your Truth from people we encounter. We pray for Your strength to share Your Truth with anyone, anytime and anywhere. We pray for my daughter’s marriage to always be bonded by God Himself. We pray You LORD direct us to the people who need You most as we travel North along the Pacific Coast Highway from San Diego to San Francisco. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

One night the LORD spoke to Paul in a vision, ‘Be fearless; speak out and do not keep silence.’ Acts 18:9

Wig’s Word of God Today 5-18-2012

One night the LORD spoke to Paul in a vision, ‘Be fearless; speak out and do not keep silence.’ Acts 18:9

He had his hair cut off, because of a vow he had made. Acts 18:18c

Your hearts will be full of Joy, and that Joy no one shall take from you. John 16:22d

Acts 18:9-18, Psalm 47 & John 16:20-23

How are you defining fearless when searching to live according to God’s Designed Will? Does the “Fear of God” grip your chest when God’s designed Will matches your every thought, every action and every deed? Are you willing to give everything you have for the Will of God to be adhered to in your life? Surrender is a hard thing. We always want something God doesn’t want for us. Taking these steps of God’s Plan for you takes gumption- an intentional “vow” to God’s occupation of your very soul.

Paul took it in Cenchreae when he cut his hair off. He had enough gumption to continue as God instructs him to “be fearless; speak out and do not keep silence” when sharing the Good News of God’s Designed Plan for humanity. I saw the fearless look of God’s love recently when a woman responded to me saying “God Bless you.” She stopped and her eyes got big fearlessly delving her hands towards me “oh yes LORD, thank you for the blessing.”

It takes a lot of gumption to respond to someone’s blessing when reaching out to be thankful for prayerfully embracing God’s Joy in a stranger’s need in their affirmation of God’s Truth. She purposely stopped what she was doing and enjoined us for prayer holding hands with me and my wife. Her intentions were written down and will be placed in the prayer box of our home where many of your intentions lie now. I feel this fear of God wanting nothing more than to share His Joy with anyone, anytime and anywhere. Are you fearless for God’s Joy?

Dear LORD, we pray to be fearless seeking the Joy You share with our soul. We pray for my daughter to have a perfect wedding this weekend. We pray for all travelers and the needs of the people we meet. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Harm will not come as I protect your very tongue

Many of the city are my servants who will hurriedly come

Protecting your speaking of Me to those who shun

The Word of God you teach in faith they are stunned

Jews rose up tired of his lip

Paul was brought to defend his quip

Gallio ruled no reason to hear titles and rules

He chose not to judge such matters of the Jews

They beat one poor guy half to death

In full view of the Tribunal affair

The beauty of rain pounding the rooftop soaking the surroundings awakens me this morning in South Florida reminding me of the verse in Ephesians 1:19-20a I first turned to of  “how extraordinarily great is the Power that He has exercised for us believers; this accords with the strength of His Power at work in Christ.” My mind tingles with this perception He has granted me by my faith, hope and love.

Do you feel this discernment when you read the Bible, pray aloud or preach His Truth? I for one seek this insight by the promise afforded to me in His Word to accomplish full-knowledge of living a life of seeking His Will. I have learned to embrace the Three P’s of life by acting on His Truth constantly whereby I intentionally touch and read the Bible often during the day. Practice while you preach should be a motto to live for when you practice the preaching magnifies His Salvation’s call. Amen. Practice.

Prayer must be the constant ring of your tongue when living a life for Him. P number two means to pray, “without ceasing.” Life without prayer is like life without knowledge. You’ll become broken down in thoughts seeing selfish pride as the goal. Prayer will lead you to the “full knowledge of Him” to accomplish your heart’s desire. Talk to God in all fashions of the Spirit: Father, Son and the Holy Ghost. Place in your heart your picture perfect setting of each of them wrapping Their mantle of love around your being. “Rest.”

Promoting the Kingdom of God seems difficult for many. I try and wear something that reflects a comment to begin a uniting Christian relationship with people. A Holy Spirit pin on my shoulder. An Emmaus shirt. A silver Cross showing Christ Crucified with the two thieves. Something to spark the one word that’ll take you to places of grace riding the high gaining “full knowledge of Him.”

It’s a ride I have yet to not want over and over again. It’s exciting amongst a peace of heart God intended for the world. In brevity I hope to spark the interest of a life in the Three P’s to help us all to believe that Jesus Christ is “far above every principality, authority, power, and dominion, and every name that is named not only in this age but also in the one to come.” Ephesians 1:21 Now it’s time to reflect in prayer. Amen.

Dear LORD, we pray to gain full understanding of Your Will LORD by our practice, prayer and preaching. We pray for the travelers of the world and the people they can affect by their sharing of Christ’s Truth. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

The Body is the Church we Succumb- Ephesians 1:17-23

I pray God gives you knowledge

I pray God gives you peace

I pray God gives you wisdom

I pray His death gives you sin release

Hearts with dazzling eyes will be enlightened

Riches and glory inherited from the Holy Ones

His call will grant you hope to know Him

Knowing Him Surpassing Greatness to win

Given to us who believe by His exercised great might

Christ taught us to love for God Himself controls the fight

Seating at His Right hand in the glowing heaven lights

Far above every principality or name by restoring humanity’s sight

In this age and any ages to come

His Feet rest’s on the world’s dominion

The Body is the Church we succumb

A fullness of forgiveness from God’s Only Son
