Wig’s Word of God Today 4-6-2012

It was Yahweh’s good pleasure to crush Him with pain; if He gives His life as a sin offering, He will see His offspring and prolong His life, and through Him Yahweh’s good pleasure will be done. Isaiah 52:10

During His life on earth, He offered up prayer and entreaty, with loud cries and with tears, to the One who had the Power to save Him from death, and, winning a hearing by His reverence, He learnt obedience, Son though He was, through His sufferings; when He had been perfected, He became for all who obey Him the source of Eternal Salvation. Hebrews 5:7-9

Pilate then said to Him, ‘Are you refusing to speak to me? Surely you know I have power to release You and I have power to crucify You?’ Jesus replied, ‘You would have no power over Me at all if it had not been given you from Above; that is why the man who handed Me over to you has the greater guilt.’ John 18:10-11

Isaiah 52:13–53:12, Psalm 31, Hebrews 4:14-16; 5:7-9 & John 18:1–19:42

It seems funny to call this day good when one may see it as the worst day in the world when they kill ANY innocent man. The innocence of Jesus combined with the actions of Christ as He was led to His death makes this solemn celebratory day a great day in the eyes of all believers who know His Blood Eternally wipes their sin clean offering True Eternal Living.

They courted Jesus to death seeking His life early on His Public Ministry fulfilling the Will of God as pure unadulterated fact. As He allowed the sentence to be carried out, Jesus made the Friday of Passover the greatest day God has ever given humanity. Good Friday: The day a death was recorded in history leading to a day of Resurrection recorded in history. Humanity is then given the pleasure to witness God bringing Himself back to life to prove He is the LORD of all.

He gave life where there was nothing in Mary’s womb. He brought back to life curing every sickness known to man. He suffered, died and was buried returning to life with scars intact. But we still have those who don’t believe. “That was then and this is now” makes mankind find an easy way out of taking on the responsibility of giving one’s all to the LORD of life. The power given to us from above is the Power we use to live in a pathway to God’s Eternal life of faith, hope and love.

Are we seeking this Power in everything we do? The Power to guide a person to know His Salvation. This day is a great day to share His Good Friday reward. We must learn to overcome the cautious hesitant behavior of sharing Christ’s Good News and approach those who surround us with humility, gentleness and enthusiasm for God’s offering of His One and Only Son. There becomes a keen awareness of Him in everything your life has to offer by a surrender to His Cross of Freedom. Freedom from sin of every form. Practice His Truth by reading His Word. Pray to Him for all thoughts. Proclaim for Him to all people. Let people around you know Good Friday lasts all year. Amen.

Dear Power of all, we pray to make every day a Good Friday of Christ’s Salvation celebration. We pray for the Good Friday prayer warriors at the abortion clinics worldwide. We pray for my children. We pray for families in need of Your love to escape the past of rejection, sin and spite. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 4-5-2012

‘I am the Alpha and the Omega,’ says the LORD God, Who is, Who was, and Who is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:8

Isaiah 61:1-3, 6, 8-9, Psalm 89, Revelation 1:5-8 & Luke 4:16-21

The sound of rain pounding on my roof brings smiles of joy to my heart as the LORD our God brings nourishment and irrigation to the plants, flowers and animals to fulfill His Mighty Deeds upon His Majestic World. Today we continue to learn from Isaiah how God had instilled in his heart the future of the world’s love and forgiveness by bringing to Light the Truth in Christ Jesus preparing the world for Salvation.

“They handed Him the scroll of the prophet Isaiah. Unrolling the scroll He found the place where it is written: The Spirit of the LORD is on Me, for He has anointed Me to bring the Good News to the afflicted. He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to captives, sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim a year of favor from the LORD. He then rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the assistant and sat down. And all eyes in the synagogue were fixed on Him. Then He began to speak to them, ‘This text is being fulfilled today even while you are listening.’” Luke 4:16-21

I close today in brevity to prevent problems occurring from the lightning cracking around my home for I admit that God is “the Alpha and the Omega, Who is, Who was, and Who is to come, the Almighty.” Amen.

Lord Yahweh has opened my ear and I have not resisted, I have not turned away. Isaiah 50:5

The Son of Man is going to His fate, as the Scriptures say He will. Matthew 26:24a

Isaiah 50:4-9, Psalm 69 & Matthew 26:14-25

Many of us lead such busy lives we have seem to forgot how important it is open our eyes and ears daily to reading and hearing the Word of God. I remember all too clearly the day my ears seemed to pop as I was listening to the Bible I was reading aloud where all of a sudden the words and meanings became clearer and clearer as I continued to read. When I awake each day and open my Bible, the words seem to lift my mind to new heights of understanding God’s Will in my life and I begin to eagerly pray for anyone and everyone who surround me. I ask you “Has the LORD opened your ear and you have not resisted or turned away?”

Living a life of Christ takes courage, patience and tenacity to live in a complete surrender to God’s Divine Plan for you ultimately leading to your “fate” as the Scriptures say you will. God’s Plan for Christ was laid out way in advance to find hope for the every day man or woman to know His love will conquer all sin and prepare them to live and know God’s forgiveness is real. Our real trust comes in welcoming the Father’s Truth into our hearts each day and to live as Christ did to accomplish faith, charity and love. All Foreknowledge and Authority come from the Father alone and every instance of God’s Divine Power is evident in every page of His Word. What will your fate be: heaven or hell?

Dear LORD, we pray to live our fate by opening our ears to Your Truth each day as our Eternal Guide to Heaven. We pray for my children. We pray for families in need of Your love to escape the past of rejection, sin and spite. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 4-3-2012

Yahweh called me when I was in the womb, before my birth he had pronounced my name. Isaiah 49:1b

I shall be honored in Yahweh’s eyes, and my God has been my strength. Isaiah 49:5b

Peter said to Him, ‘Why can I not follow You now? I will lay down my life for You.’ ‘Lay down your life for me?’ answered Jesus. ‘In all truth I tell you, before the cock crows you will have disowned Me three times.’ John 13:37-38

Isaiah 49:1-6, Psalm 71 & John 13:21-38

As Isaiah reminds us in today’s readings that God knew you in womb calling you by name to find the Will of God at birth choosing to deny or confirm by Free Will God Omnipotence of the world. By your surrender to God’s will in your life, you too will be honored by God given strength to accomplish the smallest of tasks to the most monumental of desires life has to offer.

My little girl, who will be 30 this year, just finished her medical degree and will be in a residency program for pediatrics soon has been honored in God’s Eyes by her hard work and determination to find all she desires in life. I pray she uses her training for the glory of God finding Him in strength all the days of her life. I know the LORD watches over us constantly giving us strength to see through our prayers for every situation for “I (too) shall be honored in Yahweh’s eyes.”

We seem to forget sometimes that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh and He knows all things since the beginning of time. Jesus knew He would be betrayed by Judas Iscariot and in a simple subtle kind of way He let everyone around Him know what was going to happen after their “Last Supper” by the one who would hand Him over to the Jews. Not only did Jesus let them know who would be a part of the plan of Salvation by his traitor-like actions but also He let even Peter who Jesus would name the Rock of the Church know His True Source of Knowledge by telling Peter he would deny Him three times before a cock crows twice. Only God could predict the Truth of ANY future.

How many times have we denied God by our actions of disrespect, lust and sin? The Good News proclaims God will welcome you back just as Christ did Peter for denying Him by your earnest desire to repent of your sins and find His Truth in Word to guide you. The grandest celebration of all celebrations is upon us to recognize Jesus is LORD over all sin by His Death on a Cross we are afforded the same Eternal Life in Heaven by just saying yes to God and no to wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony. Rid yourselves of sin by picking up Christ’s Cross to share faith, hope and love with the world. His honor gives you freedom from sin providing the strength to overcome all. Amen.

Dipping the bread as proof

Who is it Master came the reply

Leaving quickly he lived to comply

Wig’s Word of God Today 4-2-2012

I, Yahweh, have called you in saving justice, I have grasped you by the hand and shaped you; I have made you a covenant of the people and light to the nations, to open the eyes of the blind, to free captives from prison, and those who live in darkness from the dungeon. Isaiah 42:6-7

The LORD is my Light and my Salvation; whom should I fear? The LORD is my life’s refuge; of whom should I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

Isaiah 42:1-7, Psalm 27 & John 12:1-11

Isaiah prophesized long before Jesus came that He would be a Light for the nations to reckon guiding each and every soul to know the Truth in love and forgiveness. This New Covenant of Love has given each of us the knowledge and strength to live without fear of persecution or famine of God’s Spirit. Many may say, “Where is your God now?” when responding to the tragedies and natural occurrences of our world because we the people of faith face these sorts of dangers with courage of living God’s Will.

If God wants to take my friends, family or me in a moments notice due to weather, accident or illness, then I accept His Will in celebration to live for His Glory in all things. Humanity seems to be thinking of God more because of tragedies instead we should be thanking Him for the blessings and opportunities to know each of the people we know in our lives. I thank You LORD for my two sons and my daughter. I thank You LORD for my mother and father. I thank You LORD for my wife and my job as a teacher. I thank You LORD for my family and friends. I thank You LORD for being my Light and my Salvation. Amen.

My LORD and My God, we pray to always be thankful LORD for Your Light and Your Salvation from sin. We pray for my children. We pray for families in need of Your love to escape the past of rejection, sin and spite. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 4-1-2012

LORD Yahweh has given me a disciple’s tongue, for me to know how to give a word of comfort to the weary. Morning by morning He makes my ear alert to listen like a disciple. Isaiah 50:4

But He emptied Himself, taking the form of a slave, becoming as human beings are; and being in every way like a human being, He was humbler yet, even to accepting death, death on a Cross. Philippians 2:7-8

Pilate asked them, ‘What harm has He done?’ But they shouted all the louder, ‘Crucify Him!’ Mark 15:14

Isaiah 50:4-7, Psalm 22, Philippians 2:6-11 & Mark 15:1-39

The best part of any day is when I open my eyes and say, “In the Name of the Father Who created me, in the Name of the Son Who Redeemed me and in the Name of the Holy Spirit Who sanctifies me I offer this day I’m about to take on touching my wife saying aloud ‘Good Morning Beautiful’ as I roll off the bed.”

Morning-by-morning no matter how tired I am my soul is awakened to sit down early in the wee hours of the first daylight and run my fingers across the pages of my Bible reading, praying, weeping, and rejoicing to give me a “Disciple’s Tongue” seeking to “give a word of comfort to the weary.”

From our days of early risen alert learning, we soon learn to empty ourselves for the Glory of the Father sharing the Good News with confidence and passion for the Redeeming Healer of the world. I practice to find His Will in prayer. I weep in rejoicing comfort of His Redeeming Healing Power. I proclaim to share His Truth. Why be afraid of living His Will when every step takes you to giving totally of yourselves?

Did not Jesus Christ empty Himself taking the form of a slave to heal you from division of God and sin? Why can’t you forget about what people will say or do to you because you openly proclaim your love and honor of Jesus Christ? It is not the loudest who accomplished silent miracles by your faith, charity and love. It is the slave-like surrender you give to His Word that propels you into acts of compassion, kindness and understanding. Amen.

My LORD Yahweh, we pray to empty ourselves being alert day-by-day to live Your Will LORD. We pray for my children. We pray for families in need of Your love to escape the past of rejection, sin and spite. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of the LORD!-  Mark 11:1-10

Into the village ahead of Him

Was a colt tied to a post

No one ever sat upon him

He was awaiting the True Host

Reply the Master has need of it to prove

The Son of God was willing

To ride an ass for me and you

Even as they were questioned

Why untie the colt as you do?

The Disciples answered courteously

Bringing the colt covered in cloaks of dew

Taking His place in history

Wig’s Word of God Today 3-31-2012

I shall save them from the acts of infidelity, which they have committed and shall cleanse them; they will be My people and I shall be their God. Ezekiel 37:23b

From that day onwards they were determined to kill Him. So Jesus no longer went about openly among the Jews. John 11:53-54a

Ezekiel 37:21-28, Jeremiah 31:10-13 & John 11:45-57

Ezekiel is said to have brought back to life men who were considered sinners and godless in Chapter 37 and it is listed as the awakening of the dead being a miracle to have been performed on the same day on which the three men were cast into the fiery furnace; namely, on the Sabbath and the Day of Atonement. In my mind I see the redeeming feature of God by His unrelenting forgiveness to the acts of infidelity He promises to cleanse and grant pardon to us weak and sometimes thoughtless sinners. Time-and-time again we find the Truth of God’s desire to forgive His people allowing a true sense of His gracious love to guide us back to being a people of faith, hope and love.

There was an appointed time for God to bring His Son into Jerusalem to die for the sins of all humanity and Jesus lived every aspect of God’s Will as He trudged forward to His known agonizing death. Sometimes we all need to hide from the world to find rest, rejuvenation and a reborn strength to face the surrender of God’s Will for your life. He asks us all to die to our sins looking forward to the good life has to experience in giving faith, garnished in hope and guided by love.

Are we finding His strength amongst the fears of every day life? What can we openly do for him/her who has none than to live in self and sin reality to defer? In my heart I see God proactively encouraging the giving we live to find His Will undeniable and desirable. To love the church or the homeless or maybe even the elderly isn’t about gaining notoriety, it’s about living His Will. Live openly for His justice and His Truth. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, we pray to open ourselves to Your Will each and every moment of every day LORD. We pray for mothers considering abortion. We pray for our president of the USA resolutely LORD. We pray for the conversion of all people. I pray for all teams of ANY Emmaus forming for the glory of God our Father. We pray for my children. We pray for families in need of Your love to escape the past of rejection, sin and spite. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

If we let His miracles create a miracle crawl

Wig’s Word of God Today 3-30-2012

Even if you refuse to believe in Me, at least believe in the work I do; then you will know for certain that the Father is in Me and I am in the Father. John 10:38

Jeremiah 20:10-13, Psalm 18 & John 10:31-42

When you see or experience the first miracles of God in a friend’s recovery or child’s healing, you tend to embrace the work of Christ as a wake-up call from Heaven that His Work of healing comes from the Father. Still, there will be those who refuse to accept anything that seems to be a miracle as God’s Hand was in it because they are so sure of themselves or someone else’s eloquent speaking that they become duped into believing the pretty sounds or confident thinking as that of a stately person.

Many Americans believe our current president hasn’t convinced anyone he’s a true Christian at heart by his views on abortion or his interview with a Christian reporter who asked him if he believed in John 14:6 that says, “I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” His response tells me he does not believe in the works of Christ: “I believe there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people.”

The writer (1) went further and said, “One cannot deny central tenets of the Christian faith, including the deity and uniqueness of Christ as the sole mediator between God and Man and be a Christian. Such people do have a label applied to them in Scripture. They are called a ‘false prophet.’”

The Will of God dictated that an unproven American and unconvinced follower of Christ becomes the president of the United States as a wake-up call for the Christians of America to rally together to overcome our false prophet. This year is about proving God’s Miracles come from faith, hope and love in Christ Jesus. Our ONLY Way to the Father and to Heaven itself by our practice, prayer and preaching. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, we pray to always believe in the Works of Your Son as coming from You LORD. We pray for people considering abortion. We pray for my children. Prayers of healing for Donna Matthews. We pray for families in need of Your love to escape the past of rejection, sin and spite. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Jesus replied: In all Truth I tell you, before Abraham ever was, I AM. John 8:58

Genesis 17:3-9, Psalm 105 & John 8:51-59

It was hard for many to recognize Jesus as God’s Only Son. The words He spoke seem too outlandish to follow or believe. So much so, they wanted to kill Him because He claimed He was God in the flesh. “The Jews said, ‘Now we know that you are possessed. Abraham is dead, and the prophets are dead, and yet you say, “Whoever keeps my word will never know the taste of death.” Are you greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? The prophets are dead too. Who are you claiming to be?’” John 8:52-53

Jesus answered the only way He knew how and that was to tell the Truth. “If I were to seek My own glory My glory would be worth nothing; in fact, My glory is conferred by the Father, by the One of whom you say, ‘He is our God,’ although you do not know Him. But I know Him, and if I were to say, ‘I do not know Him,’ I should be a liar, as you yourselves are. But I do know Him, and I keep His Word.” John 8:54-55 You know the old saying, “The Truth will set you free,” here Jesus reminds us that telling the Truth is as important as living the Truth.

Humanity fails at telling the Truth as often as they fail at living the Truth of God’s Word. I see something different in a homeless man or woman living on the streets in filth, hunger and addiction. When you stop and talk to them they tell you the truth of their needs, experiences and lives for they know there is nothing they can hide from or any need to disguise the obvious of their chosen plight of living. I stop and visit with many of them as often as I can sharing clothes, shoes, prayer, and/or food from my ministry I call “Trunk of Comfort.”

Yesterday as I talked to one man named Bill in his early 40’s who was ever so appreciative I was there feeding them all and providing them clean clothes to wear, I learned how he is battling a blood disorder that requires dialysis in the midst of recurring back pain from a broken back. As he stood there wearing the sneakers I gave him and unshowered for over a year, I laid hands on him praying aloud as the tears of Christ’s joy ran down our cheeks. As he hugged me when I finished he whispered, “The Truth is I may die here on the streets and my parents will never even know. Thanks for your prayers. God bless you for being an angel who cares.”

Dear Heavenly Father, we pray to always know Your Truth about Your Son to guide us to be a people of Truth. Day nine of a Novena of prayers for the Carolina Boys Emmaus. A prayer for the soul of Pedro Villalonga’s father who passed away last Saturday night. We pray for Bill, JB and Randy living on the streets of despair. We pray for families in need of Your love to escape the past of rejection, sin and spite. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Are you greater than Abraham?

Who died and was buried

Or any Prophets of old

Who lived to die in sharing

Who do you think you are?

Making yourself to be

I glorify not myself, Jesus replied

I glorify the Father Who is in Me

The Father glorifies Me

But you can’t see

A liar is thee

Not keeping His Word to agree

How can this be true?

Wig’s Word of God Today 3-28-2012

Even if He does not (save us), then you must know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your god or worship the statue you have set up. Daniel 3:18

You will come to know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free. John 8:32

If God were your father, you would love Me, since I have My origin in God and have come from Him; I did not come of My own accord, but He sent Me. John 8:42

If I was a non-believer and I saw three men dancing amongst the flames of a fiery furnace, I too would get down on my knees and worship the God of these stout believers living constantly as a determined servant of the LORD. “’I can see four men walking free in the heart of the fire and quite unharmed! And the fourth looks like a child of the gods!’  ‘Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego: He has sent His angel to rescue His servants who, putting their trust in Him, defied the order of the king, and preferred to forfeit their bodies rather than serve or worship any god but their God.” Daniel 3:94-95 Who was the Child of God dancing their midst? Was it an angel or was it Christ Himself before He came to the earth to set us free from sin?

You too will dance for the LORD when you come to know the Truth releasing your every fear enabling you to always be a “Child of God.” By your surrender to His Truth you can come to know His Son and love His Redemption to share with anyone, anytime and anywhere. To know the Father is to embrace the Son as your guide in every step you take when you practice, pray and preach the Good News. I feel this way when I pray next to the abortion clinic dancing to the sounds of God’s love in music singing at the top of my lungs to passer bys the various hymns of praise I listen to every day. There was a teenage girl I know who saw me and she asked what I was doing. I replied, “I was praying by an abortion clinic. Always remember: God never makes a mistake.” Amen.

Dear Father Who never makes a mistake, we pray to always know the Truth living for Your Glory LORD every day. Day eight of a Novena of prayers for the Carolina Boys Emmaus. We pray for families in need of Your love to escape the past of rejection, sin and spite. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
