Wig’s Word of God Today 3-27-2012

I have told you already: You will die in your sins. Yes, if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins. John 8:24

Numbers 21:4-9, Psalm 102 & John 8:21-30

I can remember the days of old when I was so wrapped up in being selfish and sinful that I would have denied I know Christ by my ways of sinful living knowing then I would have rather died in the sin than to admit that Jesus Christ is LORD. I’m sure many of you can reflect on such a time that it resonates a painful bile feeling in the deepest part of your soul.

As you peer backwards in your life I pray you know God has given you His Son to eliminate every aspect of that deep down disgusting feeling allowing instead a complete release of sinful thoughts, words and actions. I have found the only way I can keep myself in check with the LORD is to repent continually calling out to His Son often during the day to keep my focus on garnishing a life of complete surrender to His One and Only Way of living for the glory of His Father.

There are many times during the day I have to turn to His Word to keep me connected rather than looking past His Salvation. In these times I try and seek out someone to share the Gospel with even if it’s just a short prayer or a recited piece of Scripture. Amongst the joy of living for His Truth I am burdened with sadness for my family who choose to live in the past deepening my sorrow but more importantly robbing me and others from a relationship of love.

I know that we all have to stay focused on God’s Truth to overcome the life we lead as liars, cheats and thieves. Sadly, we can’t go back and erase the sin that caused any and all separation today and we must align ourselves with God’s Word in daily practice praying over everything we do proclaiming Christ’s gospel with fervent earnest desire to never live in that pain (sin) again. By the Grace of God you are no longer dying in your sin but living to reveal God’s Amazing Love. Amen.

Dear Father of Truth, we pray to live in You LORD to rid ourselves of sin and live in faith, hope and love. Day seven of a Novena of prayers for the Carolina Boys Emmaus. We pray for families in need of Your love to escape the past of rejection, loneliness and spite. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 3-26-2012

Daniel 13:41-62, Psalm 23 & John 8:1-11

The innocent voices of Christ’s Lost Soul bellows from deep in the womb in a silence voice that resonates in the hearts of every child, woman and man when a child dies from the act of abortion. There is no government in the world a person of God can agree with if the required stance resonates against our God-given right to follow and adhere to the Word of God.

Today our Scripture study centers around the innocents of God’s People who are accused and convicted without considering the guilt of one’s own past before passing judgment. Daniel clears the air of a false accusation as Jesus tells the Pharisees to throw the first stone if they themselves are innocent. In brevity I ask us all to look at our state of affairs in America as we continue to grapple with the implications of legalized murder of children and the effects of being mandated by the government to provide birth control trying to create a legalized way of forcing Christians to act against their beliefs.

The HHS mandate is nothing more than a lie to cover up the despicable act of forcing one’s beliefs on not just a few Americans but the entire Christian believers of the Free World. The Administration and the media use the term Health Care over and over, saying they are fighting to provide universal preventive health care for women, by improving access and reducing the cost of contraception. The Obama Administration is denying our religious bodies their First Amendment rights and denying individuals their rights of conscience as necessary to achieve their forced act of social medicine. We must unite as One Body in Christ to defeat this act of despicable obligatory health care.

Dr. Grazie Pozo-Christie who is a Radiologist spoke recently at rally for Religious Freedom here in Downtown Miami concluded with something I’d like to share.

“I think it is clear that the Administration does not have any real interest in Women’s true Health. They are, instead, using this Mandate to promote their values, which are not the values of a great Majority of Americans, and certainly not ours. Their belief in the essential goodness of contraception and abortion means that the blanketing of our country with birth control pills trumps RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AND INDIVIDUAL Conscience.

This is the essence of government run Medicine. Where politics determines who will receive what benefits and who will pay for them. The government will use its force to dictate the outcomes it wants, in order to promote its values, regardless of individual conscience or religious conviction. I think men and women of any faith, or no faith AT ALL will stand together as it becomes clear that this is a fight for Freedom as we have known it in America. And if contraception and abortion is not your fight, be assured, your moral beliefs will be the next ones to be run over.”

Dear Eternal God, we pray LORD for the conversions of hearts in the world to live by the Truth You give us in Your Word. Day six of a Novena of prayers for the Carolina Boys Emmaus. We pray to Religious Freedoms aren’t trampled on here in America. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 3-25-2012

There will be no further need for everyone to teach neighbor or brother, saying, “Learn to know Yahweh!” No, they will all know Me, from the least to the greatest, Yahweh declares, since I shall forgive their guilt and never more call their sin to mind. Jeremiah 31:34

He learnt obedience, Son though He was, through His sufferings; when He had been perfected, He became for all who obey Him the source of Eternal Salvation. Hebrews 5:8-9

Whoever serves Me, must follow Me, and My servant will be with Me wherever I am. If anyone serves Me, My Father will honor him. John 12:26

Jeremiah 31:31-34, Psalm 51, Hebrews 5:7-9 & John 12:20-33

Do you not agree that the LORD your God has instilled in you a natural ability to recognize His Truth by the conscious He instilled in your soul that awakens when you know something is wrong by your action in thought, word and deed? While the LORD has forgiven even the slightest of guilt in sin, humanity still had to have a New Covenant established to overcome the constancy of sin being committed in His first established people of the world.

Think about the feeling you have in your heart when you sin or prepare your surroundings to sin; Do you have a slight ache in your chest or does your mind feel the angel pop up on your shoulder saying ‘don’t forget about God?’ Our LORD’s Divine Creation has the capacity to think and know sin before it even becomes a reality. Think about that sigh you just gave as the thought of different types of sin lingers in your memory.

Why do we overeat, abuse our bodies and corrupt our minds knowing the end result will be fleeting at best filled with shame? How can we divert our minds to productive charitable faith, hope and love to give God our all? We must learn obedience as discussed in Hebrews 5:8-9 today, “He learnt obedience, Son though He was, through His sufferings; when He had been perfected.” Our LORD gives us the ability to perfect our obedience and repent to continue our communion with Him.

Saint Paul taught we should repent continually sharing our repentance as often as we could with anyone around us. “Repent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be wiped away, and that the LORD may grant you ‘times of refreshment’ and send you the Messiah already appointed for you, Jesus.” Acts 3:19-20 Once we realize how to follow Jesus in our life, we offer our service with complete surrender to pursue Jesus “to the ends of the earth.” Where can we follow Jesus to today?

Dear Yahweh, we pray to learn obedience LORD by following Your Son to the ends of the earth. Day five of a Novena of prayers for the Carolina Boys Emmaus. J & T who lead to be are being prayed for by me J. We pray to always know You LORD as our Truth and Salvation. Wig’s Word of God Today 3-24-2012

The LORD will give you a sign in any case: It is this: the young woman is with child and will give birth to a Son whom she will call Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14

This Will was for us to be made Holy by the offering of the Body of Jesus Christ made once and for all. Hebrews 10:10

For nothing is impossible to God. Luke 1:37

Isaiah 7:10-14, Psalm 40, Hebrews 10:4-10 & Luke 1:26-38

There will always be people who want God to show them or humanity a sign that He really exists because they lack the faith in which God has instilled in every soul of every human born for all Eternity. “Please God, show me a sign that You are real and I am following Your Will” used to be a common phrase I would bellow seeking to understand the things going on in my life. People everywhere want to know if God really hears us. Can God know every thought, count every hair on your head?

The Mighty One has given proof of this time-and-time again, written and unwritten, since the beginning of creation allowing many to have faith His Omnipotence transcends the world’s order of life and everything in it. I personally see His Supremacy etched in the traces, faces and places God created to explain His Truth in every corner, every nook-n-cranny and “to the ends of the earth.” Find His Truth in every Word that graces the paper in the Good Book of Life. Live His Word on every bend in the world. “In all your ways be mindful of Him, and He will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:6

God sets into place the sign of Redemption to come through the Prophet Isaiah years before Jesus would be born of the Virgin Mary to accomplish the New Covenant of love to overcome the sins of the world. The sacrifice of animals would become a thing of the past eclipsed by the Blood of His Son. He would offer to us, humanity, His Only Son Who would do His Will by preaching the Truth, living signs of wonder in miracle healings and proving He has Power over death to rise again in His Glorified Splendor. We wanted a sign and He gave It to us; Jesus Christ. Amen.

I think once we really feel “He has Risen Indeed,” we begin to walk His Path of Divine surrender in the good and bad of life. We take that “Walk to Emmaus” where the LORD seemed hidden from our journey through the “country of life” seeking selfish thrills to accomplishing mindful acts of His Will in obvious acts of faith, charity and love. Today we will hear what the lives of some men have been like since first the few weeks after an Emmaus retreat who will share and profess “Jesus Christ is Risen” to live the Will of Surrender for the Truth He instills in our heart lived out in our soul knowing “He is Risen indeed.” I pray we each can live and share this “Will of God” as God Commands us to by our life of loyalty, generosity, desire and love of His Son Christ Jesus. Amen.

Dear Mighty One, we pray to never doubt and always know that with You anything is possible. Day four of a Novena of prayers for the Carolina Boys Emmaus. My prayers are constant for all of you. In my mind LORD You know all things of any prayer our heart desires, we pray You LORD grant them for the good of Your Will lived by all of Your sons and daughters. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 3-23-2012

They do not know the hidden things of God, they do not hope for the reward of holiness, they do not believe in a reward for blameless souls. Wisdom 2:22

You know Me and you know where I came from. Yet I have not come of My own accord: but He who sent Me is True; You do not know Him, but I know Him because I have My being from Him and it was He Who sent Me. John 7:28b-29

Wisdom 2:1, 12-22, Psalm 34 & John 7:1-2, 10, 25-30

We seem to lose touch with reality from all the shine and glitter of daily secular living that causes us to not believe in the reward for blameless souls. We seem to lose sight “all of a sudden (where we are) unaware of these inflictions eclipsed by (God’s) glory and then (to) realize just how beautiful you are and how great His affections are for[i]” humanity draws us out of the hidden life of sin and into the Light of His Truth.

I find the hope for the reward of holiness a blessing to deal with daily as a Way of Life that consumes your soul to reside in the Heavenly Home of God’s Eternal Kingdom. If only we could understand how important it is for us to share this knowledge of Salvation and continue to Proclaim His Gospel to the lost reality seekers. We have to give people the knowledge of He Who sent His Son to Redeem the world from sin. Amen.

How can you believe, since you look to each other for glory and are not concerned with the glory that comes from the One God? John 5:44

Exodus 32:7-14, Psalm 106 & John 5:31-47

Jesus uses John the Baptist as the example to bring about the Truth of how stubborn people are when it comes to accepting the Glory that comes from God not the glory people seek in other people. “Human glory means nothing to Me. Besides, I know you too well: you have no love of God in you. I have come in the Name of My Father and you refuse to accept Me; if someone else should come in his own name you would accept him. How can you believe, since you look to each other for glory and are not concerned with the glory that comes from the One God?” John 5: 41-44

All too often, humanity seems content on recognizing their own feelings in things that bring about the glory they seek in their own desires driven by selfish greed, lust and envy. Lately, we have heard a lot about the secular media attacking Kirk Cameron for stating the Biblical Truth that marriage is between a woman and a man. Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council wrote a piece I’d like to share with you that gives Kirk Cameron’s after shock response instead of short media blurbs from an interview to allow us all more knowledge on the subject to strengthen our ability to talk about this to friends and strangers alike.

“After the media threw everything but the kitchen sink at the “Growing Pains” star for supporting marriage, he frustrated them even more by refusing to back down. During an interview on the “Today” show, Kirk was the picture of 1 Peter 3:15, “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you… but do this with gentleness and respect.” Even when Ann Curry suggested that his views “might encourage people to… mistreat people,” he politely disagreed, saying, “Nobody should mistreat anyone.”

Did anyone accuse Barack Obama of hate speech when he said marriage is between a man and woman during the campaign? Of course not. Her line of questioning only exposes the media’s bias on the subject. These days, if you simply disagree with homosexuals, people like Ann Curry make the leap that you’re encouraging abuse! As Kirk said, this whole controversy is a manufactured one. “I have been consistent for 15 years as a Christian. I’m a Bible-believing Christian. What I would have thought was more newsworthy is if I had said something that contradicted the Word of God, if I had contradicted my faith.” Thank you Mr. Cameron for standing up for God’s Truth. Amen.

Dear Father of all, we pray to seek Your Glory LORD instead of our own by Trusting in Your Word to live forever more. Day two of a Novena of prayers for the Carolina Boys Emmaus. We pray for Heidi Calderon’s peace and guidance. My prayers are constant for all of you. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 3-21-2012

In all truth I tell you, by Himself the Son can do nothing; He can do only what He sees the Father doing: and whatever the Father does the Son does too. For the Father loves the Son and shows Him everything He himself does, and He will show Him even greater things than these, works that will astonish you. John 5:19-20

By myself I can do nothing; I can judge only as I am told to judge, and my judging is just, because I seek to do not My Own Will but the Will of Him who sent Me. John 5:30

Isaiah 49:8-15, Psalm 145  & John 5:17-30

As a child, I used to watch my dad do some pretty amazing things. He was an expert angler who took us on fishing trips often in Crystal River, Florida as well as an expert mechanic who owned his own transmission business. The sons of the world want to mimic their father for he is the first man in their life who taught them anything about anything. Our LORD is no different and you can see His Truth guide the Son to amazing heights of accomplishment without being prideful or greedy.

Jesus Christ accomplished what His Father Will’s even to this day for Jesus completely seeks to do the Will of His Father in everyone the LORD creates for the good of humanity. We have only seen the minor Works of Christ even though the Works thus far seem to be great for He has in store for humanity greater works than these. Jesus Christ can and will do amazing works of faith, charity, hope and love by your surrender to His Truth in Word, prayer and proclamation to live in His Will in every step you take.

The Father completes the Son and anyone “Whoever refuses honor to the Son refuses honor to the Father who sent Him. In all truth I tell you, whoever listens to My words, and believes in the One Who sent Me, has Eternal Life; without being brought to judgment such a person has passed from death to life.” John 5:23-24 Amen.

Dear LORD, we pray to live our life as the Father Will’s us to mimic the Son by following His Gospel. We pray for the soul of Al Castan and his son Rod’s peace and comfort. Wig’s Word of God Today 3-20-2012

Look, you are well; do not sin any more, so that nothing worse may happen to you. John 5:14b

Ezekiel 47:1-9, 12, Psalm 46 & John 5:1-3, 5-16

There will be times in your life where sin will lead you to trouble you cannot get out of that will cause you not only bodily harm but the sin will hurt your mind and soul as well. I do believe that Jesus was telling the man who had been sick for some years to be careful his infirmity didn’t return by establishing sinful desires he was unable to participate in before because if his sickness that could lead him to experiencing a worse type of illness that could cause him death.

The LORD established His Dominion to be enjoyed in moderation allowing us to be fulfilled by His Wondrous World of Truth. Too much of a good thing can and will lead you to sin if you aren’t careful causing you to experience anger, insatiability, laziness, arrogance, sinful desire, jealousy, and excess. The Seven Deadly sins of angering our LORD to live in His Wrath will ultimately separate you from being in Communion with our God. During the season of Lent, we are to be especially conscious of this fact and seek to share or eliminate the excess of life that can benefit someone else. Amen.

Dear LORD, we pray to live our life not in excess but in moderation of Your Truth. We pray to give instead of take. We pray to help instead of hurt. We pray for the sick, scared and lonely. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

God was His Dad- John 5:1-18

Sheep Gate offered a pool

To refresh and heal

To cleanse and revive

Enjoying God’s Dominion ride

Many crippled and lame came

The blind as well seeking to rename

Their life as joyous in the LORD of Truth

Healing their infirmities gave them a boost

One man had suffered for 38 years

Jesus knew his needs amongst his tears

He asked him if he wanted to be well

Your needs are answered without going to hell

I am too weak to crawl into the pool

Rise and walk came the answer from Christ

The man got up and walked all around

When Jesus saw him in the Temple

Wig’s Word of God Today 3-19-2012

It was not through the law that the promise was made to Abraham and his descendants that he would inherit the world, but through the righteousness that comes from faith. Romans 4:13

2 Samuel 7:4-16, Psalm 89, Romans 4:13-22  & Matthew 1:16-24

By faith we are recognized as co-heirs to the Promise God made Abraham that we would inherit the world. By our righteousness in faith we are afforded the same opportunity as all descendants shows how justification through faith introduces one to the gift of a new life in Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. Abraham never doubted God’s Promise for “He did not doubt God’s promise in unbelief; rather, he was empowered by faith and gave glory to God.” Romans 4:20 Abraham’s belief empowered him to never doubt God’s promise in unbelief. Abraham was able to resolve any doubts in his commitment to living God’s promise.

We are afforded further explanation of this in Hebrews 11:8–12, which emphasizes the faith of Abraham and Sarah. “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance; he went out, not knowing where he was to go. By faith he sojourned in the promised land as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs of the same promise; for he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and maker is God. By faith he received power to generate, even though he was past the normal age—and Sarah herself was sterile—for he thought that the One who had made the promise was trustworthy.”

By faith we subdue our lives to conform to the Promise of Everlasting Life in Heaven with our Savior Jesus Christ. It is by our faith we can see the Truth in His Word and believe as Joseph did when he was told by an Angel to wed Mary and name his child Jesus. Today we celebrate this faith of Joseph and continue our lives led by faith, charity and love. For we act, live and breathe our faith in Christ as written in Hebrews 11:1: “Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen.”

Dear God, we pray to realize our faith in Your Promise each and every day. We pray prayers of peace and guidance LORD. Renew our mind for Your Purpose. We pray for anyone who is hurting and lonely. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 3-18-2012

We are God’s work of art, created in Christ Jesus for the good works, which God has already designated to make up our way of life. Ephesians 2:10

Whoever does the Truth comes out into the Light, so that what he is doing may plainly appear as done in God. John 3:21

Who can argue that we are God’s Work of Art? We are a true masterpiece of art given life by the Creator of the World flowing with the Energy and Salvation of His One and Only Son Christ Jesus. His love given to us through Jesus allows us to know His Will for each step we take wrapped in a blanket of love for all Eternity. I love this love of God loving Humanity fulfilling my Divine Destiny in Good Works designated by His Infinite Wisdom of Truth. What life will you make for God when you truly Trust in God alone?

When I was growing up, I never realized what the signs at football games meant such as John 3:16 or Romans 8:28. The day I read John 3:16 for the first time I was almost 30 trying to overcome a zealous life of sin. The Devil had my soul and kept me out of the Light for some time. Though I read the Bible in areas many times, I never really studied the Bible and live to plainly appear as working for God and God alone until I overcame all with a Surrender to God’s Only Way.

As I studied the Gospel of John for the first time almost seven years ago, the signs came into clear focus from every football game I’ve ever seen where John 3:16 resided in hands high above a person’s smile sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It was there in that very moment that I dropped to my knees in tears knowing “No one who believes in Him will be judged; but whoever does not believe is judged already, because that person does not believe in the Name of God’s only Son.” John 3:18

I had understood John 3:16 for the first time in my life knowing I would forever practice, pray and preach to bring His Good News to all around me. Is your love of loving Christ Jesus a work of art? What does your sign read for His Truth? Sometimes you can see the sign written all over the face of a person in love with God. Sometimes you can pray with complete strangers when they see the signs match up for the glory of God Himself. Yesterday I called out to a priest about to go into an elevator from my mom’s hospital room. He immediately came over and prayed with us and over my mom. My sign had matched his and God’s presence took our breath away. I pray we all can match up signs of Truth and relish in the Light of Salvation with anyone, anytime and anywhere. Amen.

Dear God, we pray to always be a sign to all who surround us to share the Salvation Your Son brought to the world. Praying for my mom’s continued recovery. We pray for Chris Towater’s healing. We pray for wisdom LORD to be unafraid and resolute in our complete surrender to You. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

A Pharisee saw His Light

Jesus gave him True insight

Jesus said Moses lifted the serpent high

My lift gives humanity Eternal Life

To be protected from havoc won

Humanity’s gift for everyone

Not sent to condemn
