Listen, my dear brothers: it was those who were poor according to the world that God chose, to be rich in faith and to be the heirs to the Kingdom which He promised to those who love Him. James 2:5

James 2:1-9, Psalm 34 & Mark 8:27-33

I have to admit I was pretty scared when it came to visiting the homeless, poor and hungry as I began my surrender to a life in Christ. There used to be a point in my life that I would look down on people who were failures in the eyes of the society. I used to ask myself, “Why do these people choose to live alone amongst the elements instead of fulfilling the dream most Americans have?” God instilled in me the courage to fulfill His Commands by daily practice, prayer and preaching to embrace the lost as His child of destiny.

I remember distinctly the first time I hugged a homeless man and he whispered in my ear, “this is the first time anyone has held me in years,” that I knew God was talking to me as tears of Christ joy ran down my cheeks. Mother Theresa heard the poor man say, “I am thirsty,” and she equated this to God telling her to do more for the poor and needy of the world. I personally lived a homeless life finding not despair in my heart but a purpose to live for His Glory. What you find in me writing to God in brevity is courage to do more for His Truth. Share your love of loving Christ Jesus. Amen.

I will praise Yahweh from my heart; let the humble hear and rejoice. Proclaim with me the greatness of Yahweh, let us acclaim His Name together. I seek Yahweh and He answers me, frees me from all my fears. Fix your gaze on Yahweh and your face will grow bright, you will never hang your head in shame.” Psalm 34:2-5

We pray by God, His Son and His Spirit to seek out the poor and share with them the Good News Your Son brought to the world.. We continue our Novena of prayers for Robert M. in NJ. His Promised House for those who love His decrees- James 2:1-9

There is no distinction in faith

All are afforded God’s Space

Jesus Christ is for all to taste

Not just the rich but poor to face

Two different types arrive at the door

One rich and one obviously poor

Do not make a distinction of the two

God is for each as He is for me and you

God gave His grace to the poor in spirit to see

The heirs to His Kingdom He named in thee

His Promised House for those who love His decrees

A faithful place for the poor to eternally conceive

God’s saving justice is never served by human anger; so do away with all impurities and remnants of evil. Humbly welcome the Word, which has been planted in you and can save your souls. But you must do what the Word tells you and not just listen to it and deceive yourselves. James 1:20-22

God’s saving justice is never served by human anger; so do away with all impurities and remnants of evil. Humbly welcome the Word, which has been planted in you and can save your souls. But you must do what the Word tells you and not just listen to it and deceive yourselves. James 1:20-22

James 1:19-27, Psalm 15 & Mark 8:22-26

It’s hard to do- not get angry, right? We all have anger responses from people or situations caused by individuals who would readily agree that they are not even a part of our lives. It’s how we settle this feeling in our heart that determines the impact God’s Word has on our being. The old adage “sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me” comes to mind but in as much as we think we all know words do hurt.

The Word of God has instilled in the heart of mankind a forgiving grace, if you will an example to follow by the love Christ displayed when He took the sin of humanity and covered it with His Blood on the Cross. James reminds us today we must take action in embracing the Word of God in every instance our lives have to offer. Practice knowing God’s Truth and see the loving embrace Christ will fill your heart with. Amen.

But anyone who looks steadily at the perfect Law of Freedom and keeps to it — not listening and forgetting, but putting it into practice — will be blessed in every undertaking. Nobody who fails to keep a tight rein on the tongue can claim to be religious; this is mere self-deception; that person’s religion is worthless. Pure, unspoilt religion, in the eyes of God our Father, is this: coming to the help of orphans and widows in their hardships, and keeping oneself uncontaminated by the world.” James 1:25-27

We pray by God, His Son and His Spirit to follow Your Word LORD in every instance our lives accomplish. We continue our Novena of prayers for Robert M. in NJ. We pray for my son Allen Thomas who celebrates his 26th birthday today. We pray for healing in faith, hope and love of the United States of America. We pray for “40 Days of Life” to close abortion clinics. We pray for the Emmaus Team in NJ. We pray for LIFE FM. We pray for our spouses, children, family, friends, and the unknown Christ-like people we pray with every day. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

Hardships lived for God’s Holy Truth- James 1:19-27

We must find our thoughts

Not speaking in lots

Void the anger of knots

Quick to listen they forgot

God has no justice in anger

Remove evil as a ranger

Seek the Word from a Manger

Share His Truth with a stranger

Save your souls in Truth

Doing as the Word is used

To garnish love in its use

Deceive not yourself with abuse

What reflects in the Book of Life

Is action to take to avoid strife

Not to forget each and every line

But to live the work of God’s Divine

The Perfect Law is your hope

Keeping the Truth to truly cope

Practice what you preach to show

His blessing every undertaking will know

Speaking ugly shows lack of faith

Non-religious act of ugly hate

Self-deceived void of His grace

A faith wallowing in disgrace

Pure love of God reflects His Truth

A mirror of action to Eternally use

Helping the orphans and widows truce

Hardships lived for God’s Holy Truth

Blessed is the man who perseveres in temptation, for when he has been proved he will receive the Crown of Life that he promised to those who love him. James 1:12

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-14-2012

Blessed is the man who perseveres in temptation, for when he has been proved he will receive the Crown of Life that he promised to those who love him. James 1:12

He said to them, “Do you still not understand?” Mark 8:21

James 1:12-18, Psalm 94 & Mark 8:14-21

The day of love can turn into a day of temptation for those who allow the desires of life to penetrate their soul and become like old yeast to corrupt the mind to follow malice and wickedness. Jesus spoke to the Apostles about the corruptive action of leaven as a symbol of the evil dispositions both of the Pharisees and of Herod toward Jesus. The disciples of Jesus are warned against sharing such rebellious attitudes toward Jesus by stating, “Do you still not understand?” Mark 8:21 Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 5:8 to celebrate only with sincerity and truth. “Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and Truth.”

Paul describes the man who can persevere through temptation as “blessed” ultimately receiving the “Crown of Life” for his patience, commitment and love towards the people of your life especially God. Paul reminds us that we are never tempted by God for “for God is not subject to temptation to evil” nor does He place temptation in our midst to create desire. Paul explains, “Rather, each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire.” James 1:13-14 When you are tempted by your own desire to fulfill events in a fantasy world, stick to embracing the Truth in God’s Word to discover how God will bless you with the “Crown of Life.” “Let Your Faith Light the World” as the new flag I have for my Prayer Point displays and all will see your light as God’s Light. Amen.

We pray by God, His Son and His Spirit to persevere and overcome any temptation for the Glory of You LORD. We continue our Novena of prayers for Robert M. in NJ. We pray for healing in faith, hope and love of the United States of America. We pray for “40 Days of Life” to close abortion clinics. We pray for the Emmaus Team in NJ. We pray for LIFE FM. You can’t say your temptation comes from God

God Himself tempts no one to sin

For God is not subject to temptation to evil

Each of us is enticed by our own desire to win

Once conceived it will rise into indulgence

Where sin will reach a height of death

Do not be deceived by evil desires

They will account for a flame in Hell at best

Let perseverance be perfect, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:4

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-13-2012

Let perseverance be perfect, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:4

James 1:1-11, Psalm 119 & Mark 8:11-13

People ask me all the time how I persevere in the LORD. I simply answer by abiding in His Word each day and several times throughout the day I turn to His Word in prayer as I pray over everything I do. When I am tempted to take on the wrong perspective, I purposely say aloud “thank you Jesus” to guide me back to my LORD’s Truth for without Jesus in our lives, we’d be nothing but a world full of sinners.

With Jesus we find the courage to seek His faith lacking in nothing for we are fully redeemed. By example, I am wanting to fulfill God’s Will in all things to be prefect and complete for the Glory of God Almighty. Life is always going to be full of trials as we seek the wisdom God bestows on us in our practice, prayer and preaching. We gain a sense of Spiritual Maturity by seeking a complete surrender in preparing our selves for the coming of Christ Jesus. Amen.

We pray by God, His Son and His Spirit to persevere in our practice, prayer and preaching to become Spiritually mature for Your Glory LORD. We continue our Novena of prayers for Robert M. in NJ. The Truth of Miracles is My Proof Eternally- Mark 8:11-13

The Pharisees came to argue

Seeking a sign from heaven to undue

The test they spat at Him to prove

He was the Son of God so True

Jesus sighed from the depth of His soul

Seeking a sign never will be showed

You can’t see the Truth in the miracles I know

Why does this generation seek a sign to grow?

In an Amen He gave all signs to be

The lame walked and the blind see

But to you Pharisees nothing to agree

No sign when demanded comes from Me

Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:1

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-12-2012

So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God. 1 Corinthians 10:31

Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:1

Leviticus 13:1-2, 44-46, Psalm 32, 1 Corinthians 10:31-11:1 & Mark 1:40-45

Once again, God is moved with pity and cleanses a man with leprosy by allowing His Only Son to lay claim to the wonders and power as our LORD Jesus Christ. “I do will it. Be made clean.” Mark 1:41 Jesus reversed the thought process by which humanity was to approach one another just as Paul explains today in One Corinthians by doing everything for the Glory of God. Jesus did everything for the Father’s glory giving us an example to follow as did Paul by telling us to be an imitator of His Truth. “Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 11:1 Jesus tells us in John 14:12, “Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do.” I don’t think it’s arrogant to say I can imitate Christ for the Bible tells me to strive for righteousness as imitators of the Way in charitable poverty emptying one’s self of attachments accepting His Will in the riches of Salvation itself.

The Book of Truth supports a Truth hard to deny but we are warned that the love of attachments in wealth and material possessions sinfully lures you away but I implore you to use your wealth for the common good. What is given to God for God’s purpose becomes a Oneness rested in God’s Providential embrace afforded to all. I’m not saying don’t enjoy the fruits of your labor- I’m saying share them to the extent of God’s Will. The Bible warns us in 1 Timothy 6:10-11, “For the love of money is the root of all evils, and some people in their desire for it have strayed from the faith and have pierced themselves with many pains. But you, man of God, avoid all this. Instead, pursue righteousness, devotion, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.” Seek peace to sow peace and “the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace for those who cultivate peace.” James 3:18 The fruit of righteousness awaits us by doing God’s Will.

As I seek to mirror the desires of God’s heart for me, I’m actively seeking people to begin a process of healing in America that one way another has to begin the process of repair and acceptance. I’m not saying agree with any secular stance but to embrace God’s call to be nonjudgmental and seek a common desire of harmony. In my eyes, it begins with the children and young adults. Yesterday I met four young people at the One Conference where I had made my way with my Prayer Point sign (Stop and Pray for the USA) to the top of the steps of the entrance.

As I stood and kneeled in prayer, the wind whipped Old Glory above until these four young people came over and prayed with me. In tears, I thanked God and prayed then listened to their prayers giving their all to “Father God.” As volunteers, these young people are living the future of Christ. As they walked away, I got down on my knees and thanked God openly in praise in a double-kneed Tebow sort of way as the biggest man I’ve ever seen walked up to me. Well, he was sort of the biggest man I’ve ever seen but he asked me to leave which startled me for I wasn’t passing out anything or yelling- I was in silent prayer holding a sign promoting prayer for America. I didn’t argue for God led me away talking with a Veteran and praying again on my way off the steps. I thank God for protecting me and giving me the sense to follow His Spirit home. Amen.

We pray by God, His Son and His Spirit to be true imitators of Your Son for Your glory LORD. Prayers for the lost beautiful voice and soul of Whitney Houston. He kneeled before Him asking to be healed

Leprosy had ripped his ability to shield

If you wish LORD You can make me clean

My faith in You will reclaim my self-esteem

Our LORD was moved with pity touching him

Saying, “I do Will it, be made clean”

The sores immediately left him

His love of life Redeemed

Say not a word to a soul

Came Christ’s answer to know

Show yourself to a priest

Before celebrating a big feast

His proof already told

He ran and shouted so bold

Left to the imagination to see

Shouts of joy to be free

The man went far and wide

Jesus was known at every ride

He remained in deserted places

People kept coming seeking graces

If you wish LORD You can make me clean

My heart is moved with pity for the crowd, because they have been with me now for three days and have nothing to eat. Mark 8:2

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-11-2012

My heart is moved with pity for the crowd, because they have been with me now for three days and have nothing to eat. Mark 8:2

1 Kings 12:26-32; 13:33-34, Psalm 106 & Mark 8:1-10

I think it’s safe to say God had pity on the children He created as anyone of us would have pity for our children in their daily needs, challenges or downfalls. He is moved to feed them from the deepest quality our LORD has of being of Mercy, Tenderness and Compassion. He is moved by love and His love created the world for His pleasure. When seeking the divine, we utilize love to become love in our every thought, action and exploit. We wrap ourselves around the Light of Christ as a endowment not to own but to give away. The more you share His Truth the more He grows in your will to live for His Will.

I don’t know about you, but I love talking, sharing and learning from each other as to enjoy the increase of spiritual awareness of my surrender to the Father wrapped up in the Son lifted by the Holy Spirit. The sound of rain outside as I write reminds me of how special His pity is by giving us water to survive and a cleaning of heart constantly to live refreshed and Redeemed. Share His Pity with a friend as he would share pity with you. Be moved to walk in His Light and watch how people are drawn to seeking the Light of Faith. God’s joyful rain is cleaning up Miami right now to welcome the One Conference at UM’s Bank United Center. I know Hillsong United is playing Sat and Sun nights and they are selling tickets to online at www.oneconference.com. I pray people stop and pray at Prayer Point today to lift up our great nation and bring awareness to life.

We pray by God, His Son and His Spirit to show pity as needed just as You LORD show pity on us. We pray for the success of the One Conference this weekend. We continue our Novena of prayers for Robert M. in NJ. We pray for healing in faith, hope and love of the United States of America. We pray for “40 Days of Life” to close abortion clinics. About four thousand His grace fed by His pity– Mark 8:1-10

In days of old Jesus was with crowd

Speaking His Truth gaining the proud

In pity He said He must feed them all

Three days they’ve gone hungry to crawl

Where can we get food to feed each face?

Where can we satisfy them LORD in this place?

We are a great distance from nourishment to waste

The energy of seeking the food in a blinding haste

What do we have? Jesus chimed in

In the loaves and fish to have them begin

As He ordered the crowd to sit down and dig in

Saying the blessing to multiply bread within

They ate and were satisfied from His ditty

His Truth engaged the rights of the city

The people of God who know He’s pretty

About four thousand His grace fed by His pity

He ordered them not to tell anyone. But the more He ordered them not to, the more they proclaimed it. Mark 7:36

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-10-2012

He ordered them not to tell anyone. But the more He ordered them not to, the more they proclaimed it. Mark 7:36

1 Kings 11:29-32, Psalm 81 & Mark 7:31-37

They proclaimed His Salvation in the midst of hundreds each time one person was healed from one of many different diseases or ailments even though Jesus told them to remain silent about their miracle. I remember a friend telling me when he was healed he couldn’t help but to tell everyone around him that he had been healed by his faith in Jesus Christ. It’s a feeling of release and of freedom to be healed by God’s grace because of a belief in His Only Son Who has taken away the sins of the world by shouldering the pain of being whipped with chains, being forced to carry His Own Cross and being nailed to a Tree with nails as big as railroad spikes. We shout with joy the Salvation His Truth brought us when we are healed to live for His glory.

The more they proclaimed it” is an example of humanity’s mission to share the Truth of Salvation that resonates in our soul. This weekend here in Miami thousands of people will be descending on the University of Miami to attend the One Conference where even the Christian Music Group Hillsong United from Australia will be performing to engage Miami to proclaim the Good News of Christ Jesus to enlighten and save the world from sin. There will hundreds of people giving their lives to Jesus this weekend by something God has instilled in the heart of a preacher to open the eyes of the blind sinners or create desire in a person of lost direction to pick up the Word of God and live in faith, charity and love. I will be on site asking people to stop and pray for the USA and the babies being killed by abortion with my ministry Prayer Point. I pray if you attend and see me that you’ll stop and say a prayer for our great nation. Amen.

We pray by God, His Son and His Spirit to proclaim the Good News of Your Son to share His Salvation with anyone we meet. We pray for the success of the One Conference this weekend. We pray for Robert M. in NJ to find God’s Will to live up to God’s desires. We pray for healing in faith, hope and love of the United States of America. In the district of Decapolis

Jesus was brought someone deaf

His speech had an impediment

They begged Him to heal his theft

Taking him away from the crowd

Jesus placed His fingers in his ears

Spitting touching his tongue

He groaned to heaven to cure his fears

He was healed immediately

Speaking plainly for all to see

Ordering them not to tell to be

They were all astonished

He does all things well

Stop the Birth Control Mandate Petition

On August 1, 2011 the Department of Health and Human Services, directed by Kathleen Sebelius, adopted the Institute of Medicine’s recommendation that “the full range of FDA-approved contraceptive methods” be determined a “preventive care service for women.” Under these new guidelines, mandatory coverage will be provided for surgical sterilization, all prescription contraceptives approved by the FDA including drugs like Ella that can cause abortions in the early weeks of pregnancy as well as counseling to promote them. This directive from the Affordable Care Act initiative will be supported by tax payers without a conscience clause exemption, violating the civil and religious liberties of millions of Americans.

We, the undersigned, state the following:

This new directive by the Obama Administration is:

  • Undermining: The U.S Department of Health and Human Service’s adoption of the Institute of Medicine’s recommendation that contraceptive services be provided for all women is contrary to Catholic moral teaching and undermines fundamental principles of the Catholic Faith. [“Legitimate intentions on the part of the spouses do not justify recourse to morally unacceptable means . . . for example, direct sterilization or contraception.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church #2399)]
  • Deceptive: Many FDA approved birth control methods are classified as a Group 1 carcinogen by the International Agency of Cancer Research (IACR), a research arm of the World Health Organization (WHO) and categorized in the same group as cigarettes and asbestos.
  • Discriminatory Against Catholic Institutions: It violates the freedom of conscience and freedom to practice religion guaranteed by the Constitution, specifically targeting Catholic hospitals, clinics, parishes, social services, schools and other Catholic institutions under the new rule compelling them to act contrary to Catholic teaching on life and procreation unless they stop hiring and serving non-Catholics.
  • Biased Against Catholic Health Care Professionals: A direct attack on Catholic doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers who are not provided a “conscience clause” to opt out of providing medical services that are contrary to their religious beliefs.
  • Misleading: Increased access to birth control will actually increase (not decrease) the need for abortion. The Guttmacher Institute, a research arm of Planned Parenthood, admits that their research reveals that over 50% of women show up at abortion clinics for an abortion due to failed birth control.
  • Bad Medicine: Encourages unhealthy and immoral sexual practices which will drive the need for more health care services in the area of STD treatment and abortion services.
  • Lacking Transparency: This mandate reveals shameless abortion rights advocacy by the Obama Administration as they are well aware that birth control distribution is the feeder system of the profitable abortion industry.

Therefore, we petition the Obama Administration and Secretary Sebelius to immediately withdraw all references to contraception and contraception counseling from the “Guidelines for Women’s Preventive Services” under The Affordable Care Act, and to provide a CONSCIENCE CLAUSE to protect the religious freedom and beliefs of Catholics and other Americans who are opposed to contraception.

His heart was not entirely with the LORD, his God, as the heart of David his father had been. 1 Kings 11:4b

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-9-2012

His heart was not entirely with the LORD, his God, as the heart of David his father had been. 1 Kings 11:4b

1 Kings 11:4-13, Psalm 106 & Mark 7:24-30

We find our nation has begun a long time ago the parting of ways from being a nation of clear conscious of God’s mercy and strength to a nation of selfish lust in secular desires turning away from the One and Only God Who built our nation on faith, hope and love. King Solomon reminds me of the secular socialist movement of big government we are experiencing today mixed with all seven deadly sins driving the people to worship not Truth but to worship riches, sexual promiscuity and insatiability. The Hand of God will surely fix the mess sooner or later but we must continue to re-instill the values our great country was founded on and force the unbelievers to see the strength God has given those who believe.

If your heart is not entirely with the LORD, then I would suggest you become involved in different ministries at your church to become fully aware of the joy God will bring back to your heart and soul be lending a hand to those in need. Maybe you need to seek a better understanding of His Truth in a Bible study group to get closer to God’s Word. There is something He wants you to do by first eliminating the doubts and grasping the awesomeness of Christ’s Redemption to share and to live. There will always be people who try and bring you down but you must rely on God and God alone to lift your soul to heights of amazement by not giving up relying strictly on His Truth to practice, pray and preach. Your job isn’t finished until God says it to be. Be encouraged as my friend always says and live for Christ’s Redemption. Don’t give up- refocus and dig in!

We pray by God, His Son and His Spirit to give my heart entirely to the You LORD. We pray for Robert M. in NJ to find God’s Will to live up to God’s desires. We pray for healing in faith, hope and love of the United States of America. We pray for “40 Days of Life” to close abortion clinics. We pray for the Emmaus Team in NJ. We pray for LIFE FM. We pray for our spouses, children, family, friends, and the unknown Christ-like people we pray with every day. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

King Solomon had his way

His wives turned him astray

His heart began to worship strays

Of strange gods of his day

His heart began to lose sight of God

His adoration of women became his fassad

God viewed his behavior as evil to nod

Solomon built strange idols on a rod

Because he turned his heart away from the LORD

God became angry and dealt with him by His accord

You have not kept My covenant and statutes

It is you I will deprive of a kingdom for your attributes

God chose to leave him one tribe for a son

Bringing down the kingship he ruined in fun

All for the sake of my servant David I comply

For your father held Me in Truth and did not deprive

WASHINGTON, Feb. 8, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ — “With the January 22 anniversary of the Roe v Wade Supreme Court ruling, the United States began its 40th year of legal abortion,” said Shawn Carney, campaign director of 40 Days for Life. “This is a critical year in terms of the sanctity of human life — a year in which people from across America and beyond are preparing to take a public stand on behalf of innocent lives at risk.” Carney said that in this 40th year, pro-life advocates in 251 locations reaching from coast to coast in the United States as well as Canada, England, Australia and Spain will be hosting local 40 Days for Life campaigns simultaneously. The coordinated international campaign begins February 22 and runs through April 1. Carney pointed out that the number 40 shows up frequently in the Bible. “Noah in the flood, Moses on the mountain, Christ in the desert — those were all 40-day challenges. But the number also shows up in terms of years, as in the 40 years the Israelites wandered in the wilderness,” he said. “They were kept away from the promised land because they disobeyed God. Forty years represented a generation in biblical terms, and only a new generation was allowed to enter the new land. Forty years has spiritual significance in the struggle against abortion here in America, as we pray and work for our land to be free of abortion.” With 251 locations, this will be the largest springtime 40 Days for Life campaign in history. 40 Days for Life consists of 40 days of prayer and fasting for an end to abortion, 40 days of constant, peaceful vigil outside abortion centers and Planned Parenthood offices and 40 days of pro-life community outreach. The list of participating communities is posted online at: www.40daysforlife.com/location. “The public vigil is the most visible part of the campaign and it has a tremendous impact,” said Carney. “Many people simply do not realize that there is a facility in their own towns where abortions take place. They are shocked to find out what is going on — often in their own neighborhoods. When abortion is out of sight and out of mind, it can be easy to ignore. Once you know what’s going on locally, abortion — as well as the damage it causes — becomes real. It becomes clear that abortion that brings death and despair. It cannot be ignored any longer.” 40 Days for Life continues to grow. Nine coordinated, international 40 Days for Life campaigns have been completed, beginning in the fall of 2007. More than 500,000 people in some 422 cities have taken part. Twenty-one abortion centers have closed following 40 Days for Life prayer vigils and at least 61 abortion industry employees have quit their jobs. “The most significant impact,” Carney said, “is that there are 5,045 babies that we know of — and their mothers — who were spared from the tragedy of abortion.”
