Wig’s Word of God Today 2-8-2012

He summoned the crowd again and said to them, “Hear Me, all of you, and understand.” Mark 7:14

1 Kings 10:1-10, Psalm 37 & Mark 7:14-23

Jesus gets done telling the Pharisees that they cling to human tradition and forgo the Truth God has given to the world in His Commandments as He remarks, “Hear Me, all of you and understand. Nothing that enters one from outside can defile that person; but the things that come out from within are what defile. Mark 7:14-15 Jesus then tells His Disciples nothing you eat can pollute you but only what comes from your heart and soul through your mouth in words is what can bring you down and curse the Spirit of Truth causing sadness, seclusion and sin.

We are no different in our approach to life as we live to accomplish His Truth by our practice, prayer and preaching. When we gossip or talk of other people’s situations or habits, we pull our own hearts into the defilement and cause our Spirit to be weakened by our response of envy, pride and greed. For some reason people encounter this in all areas of their life and can be lead into sin in a moments notice unless we purposely pray our way out of saying anything God wouldn’t say Himself.

People are going to be jealous by their lack of faith in God’s Word of what other people do, act or say but it is up to you to be a person who carries God’s Truth in your heart as protection from resentment, conceit and self-indulgence. I have a close friend who is working with children in teaching them how God’s Word is their guide in all aspects of living. She asked me to write a poem about family and self-esteem for her work with kids and today’s poems are written to share the Truth of God to children for the future of the world. Share His Truth not Your tragedies. Remember, “Don’t say anything to anyone that God wouldn’t say Himself to mankind.” Amen.

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-7-2012

You disregard God’s Commandment but cling to human tradition. Mark 7:8

1 Kings 8:22-30, Psalm 84 & Mark 7:1-13

More and more everyday we are seeing the universe disregard the Commandments set forth by God being dwindled down to selfish acts of sin disregarding the ultimate consequences of eternal punishment in hell because they follow the desires of the heart instead of the desires set forth by God Himself. King Solomon was taught the way to truly honor God and he did do so in completing the Altar for the Ark showing with his final prayer the devotion he taught to his people to revere God. “LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth below; You keep covenant and love toward Your servants who walk before You with their whole heart.” 1 King 8:23

When you cling to human tradition, you disregard God’s Truth and therefore disrespect His Omnipotence of the Universe. God created humanity to honor Him and praise Him in the every situation imaginable. He doesn’t disregard the meek as much as He doesn’t forget the rich for in honoring Him in the confines of homeless man’s tent or a vast mansion God blesses those who follow His Decrees of Truth. There will come a time in your life when someone will cling to human tradition rather than follow the Decrees of the LORD set forth in the Ten Commandments. They will pursue tradition rather than acting on God’s Rules of treating your neighbor as you yourself would be treated. Hold your head up high and praise the LORD to overcome this tragedy of false witness, pride and envy to find the LORD’s Way in every aspect of your life. Amen.

We pray by God, His Son and His Spirit to cling only to Your Truth and disregard human tradition. We pray for a personal intention of asking God to help some people see the human tradition they are regarding instead of acting on God’s Truth. Since the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD. 1 Kings 8:11b

1 Kings 8:1-13, Psalm 132 & Mark 6:53-56

Do you feel the glory of the LORD fill your heart and your home? The new covenant place built for the Ark of the Covenant was finally finished and the Ark’s goodness of the LORD’s presence filled the place with smoke as it is completely cleansed by every vapor covering every possible location within the dwelling. “The cloud filled the house of the LORD so that the priests could no longer minister because of the cloud, since the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.” 1 Kings 8:10b-11

Yet another prophesy fulfilled by the LORD in Solomon, the son of David, when the LORD said to his father: “In wishing to build a house for My Name, you did well. But it is not you who will build the house, but your son, who comes from your loins; he shall build the house for My Name.” 1 Kings 8:18-19 When you build your habits, your hearts and your home around the LORD’s Truth, you build a life surrendered to His Truth to accomplish faith, charity and love for His Glory. Amen.

The Elders and Tribe Leaders came

To see the new house of the covenant rein

Brought from the City of David to exclaim

The Glory of the LORD without shame

The Priests and the Levites carried the Ark so

With Sacred Vessels under the Cherubim to show

The Holy of Hollies place in the Temple to know

The Ark carried the tablets of Moses to forever sow

When the priests left the Holy Place

The LORD’s smoke filled the Sacred Space

Solomon said the LORD intends to dwell as proof

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-5-2012

To the weak I became weak, to win over the weak. I have become all things to all, to save at least some. 1 Corinthians 9:22

Job 7:1-4, 6-7, Psalm 147, 1 Corinthians 9:16-23 & Mark 1:29-39

In his walk across miles and miles of land encountering all types of people, Paul describes to us his journey for the sake of the Gospel to share what he himself knows he has a part of. He becomes like everyone he encounters to express, explain and encourage the Truth God instilled in his heart to save the souls of the lost and confused.

To become a slave to any for the Gospel of all to be enjoyed by all to live in faith, hope and love. We must assume these rolls in present time to share the ultimate gift God has ever given to us: Salvation. We must learn to dress down when we need to dress down and dress up when we need to dress up. “All this I do for the sake of the Gospel, so that I too may have a share in It.” 1 Corinthians 9:23

The more “Trunk of Comfort” visits the homeless camps around Miami, the more I find myself dressing down like them to help them know God’s Word. I offer them a Bible as we chat sorting clothes in my trunk to freshen their appearance. I lift my hands over them and pray aloud before grasping their hands and praying in their ears to give them comfort,  confidence and Christ.

I think sometimes people have a fright of the homeless because they appear to be naked in the eyes of mortals but appear as Christ in the eyes of people unafraid for the sake of the Gospel. You must learn to dress down and become like them to live His Truth and become a portal of Christ’s Redemption. Unafraid of them as they are unafraid of you. Mother Theresa once said if she died in her work of charity she would meet Jesus anyway by the work she does for Him. In our lives we become all things to all for the Gospel’s healing of humanity. Amen.

We pray by God, His Son and His Spirit to become like those we seek to share on the Gospel Your Son instilled in the heart of Humanity. We are praying for a homeless man named Jim who wants a job to return to a soft bed. We are praying for the soon to be released film “October Baby” to educate the world about abortion. We pray for “40 Days of Life” to close abortion clinics. We pray for LIFE FM. We pray for our spouses, children, family, friends, and the unknown Christ-like people we pray with every day. If there is preaching

There is nothing I boast

If there is teaching

An obligation I love the most

His Truth has been imposed on me

Look into their eyes Christ of to be

Willingly for recompense of Eternity

Not stewardship done unwillingly

The Gospel is preached free of charge

Not to make full use of the Gospel by large

To the freedom I feel in my walk of faith

A slave to all void of ugliness and hate

My work is to win over souls to find

The Gospel by their level to mind

For the sake I share in the Gospel’s end time

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-4-2012

You did not ask for a long life for yourself, nor for riches, nor for the life of your enemies—but you asked for discernment to know what is right. 1 Kings 3:11b

Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while. Mark 6:31b

1 Kings 3:4-13, Psalm 119 & Mark 6:30-34

The empowerment of living for what is right fuels the soul to accomplish more for His Truth. King Solomon asked for knowledge of poverty and received the understanding of all that is right. There’s something right about giving your all to the naked, hungry and poor. We have so much but experience so little- of poverty. God will give us so much in nothing that seems worthy to give. I marvel at people who have given their entire life to poverty in the midst of excess and sin. How a Dorothy day or a Mother Theresa could live for that one who’s thirsty, sick and unable to support themselves. A friend reminded some of us yesterday we can do more to find more that is right. We can teach someone to read. We can educate a person about abortion. We can empower the lonely to be saved.

When we ask God for understanding, He provides the needs for everything else in your life by practice, prayer and proclaiming. Where can we go to do more? The king learned to do more by his heavenly understanding given to him by the LORD when he uses his wits to discover which mother was the right mother between the two prostitutes who lived together where one had switched her dead baby in the middle of the night. In her undying love for the baby, she said no to splitting the baby in half to save her own child’s life. Today I hope I can promote the movie October Baby to the prayer warriors who pray every week on Saturdays on site at an abortion mill. Please pray for the “40 Days of Life” to be accomplished in peace and protection over Lent as we pray to close these dens of death. Prayer is our tool of choice void of judgment praying for peace.

Jesus will soon be moved with so much compassion for the people He will begin to teach and feed more than 5000. The “Apostles” return from their journey of living in poverty sharing the riches of the Kingdom that was at hand. They must have been visibly tired for God tells them to go and find rest before they begin the monumental phase of touching the lives of humanity with Truth. I often think of the “deserted place” to rest as the retreats, prayer time and kingdom filled journeys accomplish a refreshing of the soul. Whether it’s in a prison, a silent retreat or an Emmaus, I look forward to the soulistic rest in His Arms of Eternal Care. I personally search this out daily from four to six in the morning as a daily mini retreat we are all in need of everyday. My prayers are steadfast for the next one LORD willing of an Emmaus in June. We all need to find a deserted place to rest and listen for God’s Will to enlighten our soul. Amen.

We pray by God, His Son and His Spirit to ask for what is right in life and strength to live it each day. We are praying for the soon to be released film “October Baby” to educate the world about abortion and to promote all life is beautiful. We pray for the safety of Prayer Point at the death scene this morning. We pray for “40 Days of Life” to close abortion clinics. We pray for LIFE FM. One thousand burnt offerings rose

Solomon was in prayer to God to know

A perceptive heart of his people in droves

What is right from wrong to eternally sow

How pleased was the LORD of Solomon’s request

Because he did not ask for wealth or an enemies death

Nor a long life to live forever in shameful sin

But a clean heart to live in My righteousness to win

As God I Am Who grants My Will in choosing same

I do as you requested giving you a blameless heart to tame

No one will ever be the Solomon I proclaim

None equal for all eternity that anyone will name

Such riches in understanding must be equaled by Trust

To enjoy the riches and glory I kindly allow in thrust

There will be no king to equal the riches I bestow

You will share the Truth of Me for Humanity to Know

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-3-2012

Praised be the LORD, I exclaim! I have been delivered from my enemies. Psalm 18:4

Sirach 47:2-11, Psalm 18 & Mark 6:14-29

I attended my first ever premier of a movie last night titled “October Baby.” The film is the idea of two brothers who wanted to depict the life of a young girl who was never told she was adopted or what her life as a baby was like because the mother and father wanted to protect her from the sadness and trauma surrounding her early life. You see, the plot entailed that this little girl was the blessing of a botched abortion discovering at the age of 18 she was not only adopted but she had a twin brother who lived only a short few months before dying from injuries suffered in the botched abortion.

The trauma of being born premature also took a toll on her physical, mental and spiritual life as the grew up having have multiple surgeries while dealing with seizures caused by the premature arrival forced by a killing gone wrong. As I read Psalm 18 this morning, my thoughts reverted to the girl’s plight in the movie as God surely delivers all children form the grips of selfish satanic desires that are afforded life by His Mighty Arm of Truth. The movie is an absolute must see for all families to help better educate our children about the tragedies of abortion. The movie will be out March 23^rd and I urge you to take a large group of people from your church to continue to upward motion of Christian films in America.

We pray by God, His Son and His Spirit to praise Your Strength LORD to overcome all our enemies. We pray for “40 Days of Life” to overcome the dreadful act of abortion. We pray for the upcoming release of October Baby to help educate humanity of the awful effects of abortion. We pray for LIFE FM. We pray for our wives, children, family, friends, and strangers we pray with every day. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.

A Child of Christ’s Lost Soul to Avenge- In support of October Baby

In the midst of unexplained selfishness

Lays an the Hand of God growing within

Unknowing what their mother is thinking

Or how their life may have a tragic end

It’s no simple easy-going procedure

It’s death by knife and suction to begin

It tears a little precious child to peaces

While the results get thrown in a bin

The after thoughts usually consume you

I have killed a child for selfish sin

My sorrow of heart is always aching

What could have been the president to win

As I accept Christ to guide my forgiveness

My life has meaning for a child to lend

I actively promote to healing by example

Please pray for the unborn to defend

Wig’s Word of God Today 2-2-2012

And free those who through fear of death had been subject to slavery all their life. Luke 2:15

Malachi 3:1-4, Psalm 24, Hebrews 2:14-18 & Luke 2:22-40

When you let go and let God, the fear of death becomes absent in your life as the Truth of His Word dispels the notion the Evil One will come and take it away for in God’s Awesome Power He gave “His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will have Eternal Life.” If only they will confess with their tongues that Jesus Christ is LORD, repent and become Baptized, then all of His rewards promised before men and celebrated in Heaven will become theirs.

By the slavery I shed I have become His Disciple in faith, hope and love to share the Salvation Christ Jesus offers to all who will listen to me no matter where I may be or whom I may be with. This confidence comes from living the Truth being unafraid of mere mortals when we entertain angels in every moment of our lives. As I sat at lunch yesterday, I began speaking to a mother and her two children about the beauty God’s love was for mankind to embrace reciting poetry of His Word and sharing prayer with them all before walking away.

Yesterday at the library, I was sitting out front waiting for some children I tutor and a lady sat down next to me that was so gracious and in love with God, our conversation and witnessing lasted one hour parting in prayer and smile of Christ’s joy. We both had commented how important it is to talk to everyone about becoming One Body in Christ as the Church to share the Kingdom of God as it was intended by God Himself. I pray each of you can shed the fear of death and slavery to Satan’s never ending torment to become open walking talking Apostles of Jesus Christ Truth for faith, charity and love. Amen.

We pray by God, His Son and His Spirit to practice what we preach to live free of the worry of death and slavery of Satan’s tricks. We pray for “40 Days of Life” to overcome the dreadful act of abortion. We pray for the Delgado and Handy families. We pray for LIFE FM.
